THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL PUMP WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 38,000.
CAR EXPERIENCED UNINTENDED ACCELERATION IN A SHOPPING CENTER PARKING LOT. 4TH TIME THIS HAS OCCURRED (VERY INTERMITTENT). TOOK CAR TO DEALERSHIP WHO THOUGHT PROBLEM MIGHT BE RELATED TO INTERMITTENT DISRUPTION BETWEEN ELECTRONIC CONTROL MASTER AND POWER CONTROL MASTER MODULES..DEALER SAID THEY "RELEARNED" THE CONNECTION BETWEEN THE TWO MODULES. *TR
