What Data We Collect
You do not need an account to browse Car Safety DB. We process information when you use site features, contact us, or load analytics and advertising services, as described below.
Contact Messages
The contact form sends your name, email address, message, and the network address supplied with the request to our support mailbox through our email provider. We use these details to respond and help prevent abusive submissions. Do not send passwords, payment information, or sensitive personal details.
Site Search and Navigation
Our own site records search terms, result counts, selected internal links, and the page or feature where a navigation occurred. These records help us understand which vehicle information visitors are looking for. Do not enter personal information into the vehicle search box. Hosting logs may also contain request addresses and browser information used to operate and secure the site.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) when configured. It can process page views, browser and device information, approximate location, and online identifiers. This is not a promise that every usage record is anonymous. Google describes its processing at How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Advertising
This site loads Google AdSense when configured. Google and its advertising partners may process online identifiers, device information, and cookies to deliver and measure ads.
