Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)WINDOWS ROLL DOWN BY THEMSELVES. I HAVE HEARD FROM MANY SOURCES, THAT THIS IS A VERY COMMON PROBLEM WITH VOLKSWAGEN PASSAT'S, AND AUDI'S. THE FIX IS REPLACING THE REGULATOR, AT A VERY HIGH COST. THIS PROBLEM SHOULD BE PERMANENTLY FIXED, AS IT IS A HAZARD TO BE DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY IN A STORM AT 65 MILES AN HOUR, AND HAVE ALL THE WINDOWS START OPENING. THIS WILL GO ON, EVERY MINUTE OR SO. SHOULD BE FIXED, PRIOR TO PEOPLE GETTING INTO ACCIDENTS. *NLM
REAR VIEW MIRROR LEAKED AN UNKNOWN FLUID. MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE CONTACTED. THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM HAD NOT BEEN IDENTIFIED. *AK
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
