My airbags were never replaced by Audi. I took my vehicle in for an oil change and to fix the recall I received in the mail (airbags) and was told they had none in stock. Why is this telling me I have no recalls when I still do? The only way that my vehicle has no recalls is if Audi said they fixed it and that’s not true. Nobody has fixed it nor have they notified me that they’re back in stock! The Audi dealership I have dealt with since owning this s4 is the one in fife Washington. Now my airbag warning light is on and I do not feel safe but I have no choice. I have to go to work or be homeless and loose everything. That’s not a choice I can make. Thank you
DO TO A RECALL, I HAD MY 2007 AUDI S4 CABRIOLET FRONT TWO AIRBAGS REPLACED. AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON IMMEDIATELY AFTER REPLACEMENT. I HAVE BEEN TOLD I WILL NEED TO PAY FOR A NEW SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY ORDERED DIRECT FROM GERMANY FOR $1172.00 USD. (NOT INCLUDING INSTALL FEE) PLEASE ADVISE.
PURSUANT TO NHTSA RECALL 18V427 AND 18V082 I AM HAVING A VERY HARD TIME GETTING THE NECESSARY REPAIRS DONE TO MY VEHICLE. I CALLED SONNEN AUDI IN SAN RAFAEL, CA LAST YEAR AND THEY WERE NOT PREPARED TO REPAIR THE TAKATA RECALLS. LATER THIS YEAR IN FEBRUARY I CALLED AGAIN. I WAS SCHEDULED FOR A REPAIR ON MAY 28. I DROVE 40 MILES TO GET THE SCHEDULED REPAIR AND THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE PARTS. THEY COULD NOT TELL ME WHEN I COULD GET MY REPAIR. I AM NOW VERY CONCERNED THAT I CONTINUE TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE THAT IS DANGEROUS TO DRIVE AND YET THE DEALERSHIP WHERE I BOUGHT IT HAS YET TO FULFILL ITS RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE MY CAR SAFE. I BELIEVE THEY HAVE BEEN NEGLIGENT IN TAKING CARING OF THIS IMPORTANT RECALL. I SENT THEM AN ONLINE LETTER TWO DAYS AGO AND THEY HAVE NOT RESPONDED TO MY COMPLAINT.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.
TAKATA RECALL, NHTSA RECALL # 17V-032, MANUFACTURER RECALL # 69P6 IT HAS BEEN OVER 6 MONTHS SINCE THE RECALL WAS INITIATED AND AUDI HAS NOT YET PROCURED THE NECESSARY RECALL REPAIR ITEMS, HAS NOT PROVIDED ANY RECALL REPAIR SCHEDULE, AND HAS NOT PROVIDED ANY UPDATED COMMUNICATION WITH VEHICLE OWNER. BOTH AUDI AND NHTSA SHOULD ENSURE THAT MORE RESOURCES ARE DIRECTED TOWARDS THIS PROBLEM, PERHAPS SUSPEND AIRBAG INSTALLATIONS IN NEW VEHICLES UNTIL SUCH TIME AS ALL RECALL VEHICLES HAVE BEEN FIXED.
TAKATA RECALL ISSUE HAS NOT BEEN FIXED BY THE DEALERSHIP. THEY SAID THEY DON'T HAVE PARTS AVAILABLE AND WILL CALL ME WHEN THEY BECOME AVAILABLE. WHEN I ASKED IF THEY PROVIDE A LOANER VEHICLE UNTIL REPAIR IS PERFORMED, THEY SAID THEY DON'T HAVE A LOANER PROGRAM AVAILABLE EITHER.
