Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)Driving home on the highway this evening, my vehicle sounded a couple of alarms and said driver assistance systems (which I wasn’t using) stopped working, and my accelerator completely stopped working. I was forced to unsafely cut across several lanes of traffic to an upcoming exit and coast until I could pull-off into a zone for “authorized vehicles only.” After coming to a complete stop, I placed the car in Park, and then shifted back into Drive, and the acceleration functionality returned. I looked for any recall notices, and I noticed that prior model years of this vehicle for 2022-2024 have had recall notices for this exact issue, and based on my experience this evening, I suspect my 2025 model year might have the same issue.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
