THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED ABOUT THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 88,000.
2005 BMW 645CI. CONSUMER HAS LEAKING PROBLEMS FROM THE CONVERTIBLE TOP *GR THE CONSUMER STATED RAIN LEAK INSIDE THE VEHICLE AND DESTROYED ALL OF THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS. THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE WAS AT THE BODY SHOP FOR REPAIRS, AND MAYBE THE REPAIRS WERE NOT DONE PROPERLY WHICH CAUSED THE WATER LEAK IN THE TRUNK. THE BODY SHOP CLAIMED THEY ONLY REPAIRED THE REAR BUMPER AND THE EXHAUST. THE CONSUMER STATED AN E-MAIL WAS SENT ADVISING THAT THE LEAK WAS COMING FROM THE CONVERTIBLE TOP AND THE HISTORY OF THE REPAIR NEEDED TO BE CHECKED, BECAUSE THE DRAIN HOSE HAD BEEN REPAIRED BEFORE. THE CONSUMER WAS TOLD THERE WERE LEAVES AND DEBRIS IN THE TRUNK CAUSING IT TO CLOG AND IT WAS THE CONSUMERS FAULT. THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE WASN'T PARKED NEAR ANY TREES AND IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE FOR LEAVES TO BE IN THE TRUNK. THE CONSUMER THEN DISCOVERED A TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN RELATED TO THE PROBLEM SHE AND HER HUSBAND EXPERIENCED WITH THEIR VEHICLE. *JB
