SEAL ON DRIVER SIDE WAS LEAKING CAUSING FLUID TO COLLECT IN AND AROUND BOOT. THERE IS A TSB / NON MANDATORY RECALL FOR THE POWER STEERING PUMP. THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL ON THE STEERING GEAR ASSEMBLY/ RACK & PINION. IN THE PROCESS OF INSTALLING THE STEERING GEAR THE FRONT STRUTS APPARENTLY LOCKED IN PLACE NOW THEY HAVE TO BE REPLACED. ALL WORK IS BEING REPAIRED AT A DEALERSHIP. FROM WHAT I READ ONLINE THE STEERING GEAR SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THE BUICK ENCLAVE. ANY FEEDBACK WOULD BE WELCOMED.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 BUICK ENCLAVE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR DRIVER'S SIDE COIL SPRING FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE REAR DRIVER'S SIDE COIL SPRING WAS REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 55,000.
