Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)ORIGINAL PURCHASER OF VEHICLE WITH UNDER 120,000 MILES AND HAVE A "REDUCED POWER / ACCELERATOR PEDAL POSITION SENSOR" PROBLEM AS RECALLED BY GM FOR SOME MAKE AND MODELS AS SAME, BUT NOT MINE AS IT DID NOT MANUFACTURED AT SAME PLANT AS OTHERS (AS I WAS TOLD)? I'M FINDING IT COINCIDENTAL THAT I WOULD HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM?
THIS HAS HAPPENED TWICE. TWICE I WAS GOING ABOUT 55 OR 60 MILES PER HOUR AND SUDDENLY I HAD REDUCED POWER. THIS HAPPENED IN JULY AND THEN SEVERAL MONTHS AGO. MY ENGINE LIGHT HAS COME ON AND CODES SHOW THAT P1125, ACCELERATOR PEDAL POSITION SENSOR FAULT, AND P2138 ACCELERATOR PEDAL POSITION PERFORMANCE. I RECALL I GOT A LETTER FROM GM ABOUT THIS MATTER, BUT I CAN NOT LOCATE AT THIS TIME..
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
