The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the steering wheel jerked independently without warning, causing the contact to lose control of the vehicle. In addition, the contact stated that there was an abnormal grinding sound coming from the brake pedal while depressing the brake pedal. The contact had taken the vehicle to two independent mechanics, where the wheel bearings and ball joints were replaced; however, the failure persisted. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.

THERE IS A SHUDDERING OR RUMBLE COMING FROM THE FRONT WHEELS OF OUR BUICK RAINIER AWD AT LOW SPEEDS WHEN BACKING UP OR MAKING TURNS. WE HAVE TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER ON 2 OCCASIONS BUT THE PROBLEM HAS NOT BEEN CORRECTED. *TT
