TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 BUICK REGAL CXL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT CALIPERS OVERHEATED AND GRABBED, CAUSING THE BRAKE NOT TO RELEASE AND THE STEERING WHEEL TO SHAKE. THE FAILURE WAS EXPERIENCED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER NUMEROUS TIMES HOWEVER, THE DEALER WAS UNABLE DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 26,210 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 31,382.
SINCE THE 17TH OF APRIL EACH TIME I START THE CAR THE NAVIGATION SCREEN PUTS A WARNING ABOUT HAVING THE SCREEN ON WHILE DRIVING. YOU MUST PUSH #6 BUTTON TO CLEAR THE MESSAGE. BEFORE THIS IT DID THIS MAYBE ONCE IN 3 MONTHS. I WENT TO THE BUICK GARAGE AND THEY SAID IT DOESN'T HAPPEN WHEN YOU DON'T HAVE NAVIGATION ON. I'M TO START THE CAR THIS WAY. SIX MONTHS AFTER PURCHASING THIS USED VEHICLE (WITH 29,000 MILES ON IT) IT COMPLETELY STALLED ON THE INTERSTATE WHILE DRIVING ABOUT 65 MPH. IT STARTED BRAKING BY ITSELF MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO GET TO AN EMERGENCY PULL OFF AREA. THIS COULD HAVE CAUSED A SERIOUS ACCIDENT CONSIDERING IT WAS RUSH HOUR. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE THEY TOLD ME THAT THE "THROTTLE BODY" NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. AFTER GETTING IT REPAIRED THE CAR DROVE FINE UNTIL THIS YEAR. AT ABOUT 55,000 MILES MY CAR WOULD START SHAKING VERY HARD, BRAKE PEDAL WAS ALMOST TO THE FLOOR, AND IT WAS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE ACCELERATE. I HAD TO PULL OVER AND RESTART THE CAR. THIS HAPPENED ATLEAST 4 TIMES. EVENTUALLY MY CAR STALLED OUT ON ME AGAIN WHILE DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE. ONCE AGAIN THIS FEBRUARY THE DEALERSHIP BLAMED IT ON THE "THROTTLE BODY" AND A POWERLINE THAT WAS "COMPLETELY CORRODED". AFTER HAVING THEM REPLACED, IT DROVE OK FOR ONLY A COUPLE OF MONTHS. THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN IN JUNE MY CAR STARTED SHAKING VERY BADLY WHILE DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE AND I NOTICED THAT MY BRAKE WAS STUCK I PUT MY FOOT UNDER THE BRAKE PEDAL TO POP IT OUT AND THE CAR THEN DROVE OK. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND GO FIGURE THE "THROTTLE BODY" NEEDED TO BE REPLACED, BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER HAD TO BE REPLACED, BRAKE VACUUM BOOSTER NEEDED SERVICE, BRAKE FLUID SYSTEM HAD TO BE FLUSHED, AND THE ENGINE AIR FILTER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. I WALKED AWAY WITH A $300 BILL BECAUSE THE WARRANTY ONLY COVERED SOME OF THE PROBLEMS. ONE WEEK LATER WHILE IT WAS POURING RAIN I WAS DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE AND MY CAR COMPLETELY STALLED FOR THE 3RD TIME. A TRACTOR TRAILOR ALMOST LOST CONTROL TRYING TO PREVENT HITTING ME AS I SLID OFF THE INTERSTATE. ONCE I WAS SAFE I TRIED TO RESTART IT AND THE KEY BROKE OFF IN THE IGNITION. NOW THE IMMOBILIZER MODULE HAS TO BE REPLACED. PLEASE NOTE THAT I KEEP THE MAINTENANCE UP ON THIS VEHICLE. *TR
WHILE TRAVELING 55 MILES PER HOUR ON THE HIGH WAY THE CAR SHUT OFF CAUSING ME TO FORCE THE WHEEL ON THE ROAD. I REPORTED THIS AND WAS GIVEN RENTAL CARS FOR THE NOISES AND BELTS TO BE EXAMINED. THE NOISE SUBSIDED A FEW WEEKS ONLY TO RETURN WHEN DRIVING ABOUT 45 MILES PER HOUR AND THE CAR CUT OFF AGAIN. THIS TIME IN TRAFFIC MARCH 2013. THE THIRD TIME WAS IN APRIL 2013 . THE LAST TIME WAS JUNE 16, 2013. IT HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP OVER 45 DAYS. NOTHING WAS TOLD TO ME WAS WRONG. THEN WHY IS IT SHUTTING OFF WHILE IM DRIVING? *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 BUICK REGAL. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH WHEN THE VEHICLE BECAME RESISTANT TO ACCELERATION ATTEMPTS. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD DOWNSHIFT INDEPENDENTLY DESPITE THE BRAKE PEDAL NOT BEING DEPRESSED. THE FAILURE WAS RECURRING. IN ADDITION, THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM WOULD INTERMITTENTLY FAIL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER BUT WAS NEITHER DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 4000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 BUICK REGAL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 3 MPH IN A PARKING LOT, THE VEHICLE BEGAN TO ACCELERATE INDEPENDENTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS FINALLY BROUGHT TO A STOP. THE CONTACT STATED THAT A RED WARNING LIGHT WAS BLINKING ON THE SHIFTER PRIOR TO THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND INSTRUCTED THE CONTACT TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER. THE DEALER REPROGRAMMED THE VEHICLE BUT AFTER THE REPAIR, THE FAILURE RECURRED ALONG WITH THE TRUNK OF THE VEHICLE OPENING INDEPENDENTLY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND ADVISED THAT THEY WOULD GET BACK WITH HER AT A LATER DATE. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 7,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 BUICK REGAL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH THE CONTACT TURNED INTO A PARKING SPACE WHEN THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY ACCELERATED INDEPENDENTLY AND CRASHED INTO THE WALL OF A BUILDING. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE FROM THE SCENE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTO SHOP FOR REPAIR TO THE UNDER CARRIAGE DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE CRASH. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 7,350.
THE BRAKES ON MY 2011 BUICK REGAL NEVER FELT RIGHT. THE BRAKE PEDAL WOULD GO DOWN ALMOST TO THE FLOOR. I COMPLAINED TO THE DEALER, THEY TESTED IT AND SAID THAT WAS THE WAY THE BRAKES ARE ON ALL THE REGALS. THEN IN THE VERY HOT SUMMER OF 2012 THE BRAKE PEDAL STARTED TO STICK TO FLOOR WHEN I STARTED THE VEHICLE. I HAD TO USE MY FOOT TO GET UNDER THE PEDAL TO POP IT UP. I WENT BACK TO THE DEALER AND TOLD THEM, AND AT FIRST, THEY TOLD ME THEY NEVER HEARD OF ANY RECALL OR PROBLEMS WITH OTHER REGALS OR OTHER VEHICLES. I TOLD THEM THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY PROBLEM AND AFTER I STARTED TO ASK OTHERS IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT, THE SERVICE MANAGER SAID HE DID HAVE OTHER REGALS WITH THAT PROBLEM AS WELL AS OTHER BUICK MODELS. THEY GAVE ME A LOANER AND ORDERED A NEW BRAKE ASSEMBLE. FOLLOWING THE REPAIR TWO WEEKS LATER I NOTICED ON THE RECEIPT "PIC#5692A ADDRESSING CONCERN, REPLACED BRAKE PEDAL AND RETAINERS PER PIC#5692A." THIS PROBLEM SHOULD HAVE BEEN A RECALL. *TR
I EXPERIENCE INTERMITTENT NOISE FROM THE RIGHT/PASSENGER SIDE OF THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. I DROVE VEHICLE TO SUBURBAN BUICK GMC AND WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE NOISE AND NO ACTION WAS TAKEN. ON WHILE IN EL PASO, TX THE NOISE RETURN AND WOULD NOT STOP. DROVE VEHICLE TO SHAMALEY BUICK GMC ON JUNE 28, 2012 AND THE BELT TENSIONER WAS REPLACE (INVOICE 25754MILAGE 35416). AGAIN, THE INTERMITTENT NOISE RETURN AND AGAIN I TOOK VEHICLE TO SUBURBAN BUICK GMC AND SERVICE CENTER WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE NOISE. ADVISE SERVICE OF PREVIOUS REPAIR AND SINCE PROBLEM COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED IN SERVICE AREA, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN. WHILE IN LAS VEGAS, NV TOOK VEHICLE TO FAIRWAY CHEVROLET BUICK GMC ON JUNE 17, 2013 FOR ANOTHER CONCERN. WHILE IN SERVICE AREA SERVICE ADVISOR DUPLICATED THE NOISE WHILE MOVING VEHICLE. SERVICE ADVISOR KNOW WHAT CAUSES THE NOISE, THE REPAIR WAS PERFORM IN ADDITION TO THE OTHER CONCERN. REPLACE BELT TENSIONER AND SERPENTINE BELT (TAG 0059 MILEAGE 71195) THE ORIGINAL PART FAILS AND WAS REPLACE THEN THE SECOND PART FAILS. THIS PART SHOULD NOT FAIL IN 35,000 MILES. THIS IS SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED. *TR
NAVIGATION SYSTEM HAS FAILED THREE TIMES INCLUDING NOT ACCEPTING KNOWN ADDRESSES AND SENDING YOU TO A WRONG ADDRESS WHICH IN ONE CASE WAS A SAFETY ISSUE SENDING YOU INTO AN AREA WHICH WAS OBVIOUSLY AN AREA OF CRIMINAL ACTIVITY THAT WAS NOWHERE NEAR THE DOCTORS OFFICE WE WERE TRYING TO LOCATE. IT WILL NOT EVEN ACCEPT MY HOME ADDRESS AS A DESTINATION LOCATION. I HAVE ANOTHER NAVIGATION SYSTEM IN OUR OTHER VEHICLE AND ALSO A PORTABLE SYSTEM WHICH ACCEPTS MY ADDRESS AS A DESTINATION. I DON'T FEEL THAT THIS SYSTEM CAN BE COUNTED ON IN AN EMERGENCY AND SHOULD BE RECALLED OR REPLACED. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 BUICK REGAL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD LOOSE POWER SPORADICALLY. THE CONTACT STATED THE CHECK TRANSMISSION LIGHT OR STABILITY CONTROL LIGHT WOULD ILLUMINATE ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL WHEN THE FAILURE OCCURRED. THE VEHICLE NEVER STALLED, BUT THE CONTACT WOULD LOOSE POWER STEERING WHEN THE FAILURE OCCURRED. THE DEALER REPLACED THE COMPUTER TWICE AND WAS ALSO LOOKING AT A POSSIBLE TRANSMISSION FAILURE, BUT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VEHICLE WAS LEFT WITH THE DEALER FOR MORE EXTENSIVE INSPECTION. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 17,000. UPDATED 7/12/12 *CN THE CONSUMER STATED WHILE DRIVING, ALL OF A SUDDEN THE VEHICLE STARTED TO SLOW DOWN. HE LOST ALL POWER TO THE STEERING AND BRAKES. THE TRANSMISSION CONTROL VALVE ARM WAS REPLACED. IN MAY 2012, HE WAS MAKING A TURN AND THE POWER STEERING WENT OUT, WHICH LEFT HIM WITH NO STEERING, BRAKES OR TRANSMISSION. THE CONSUMER HIT A FENCE POST DRAGGING THE FRONT BUMPER. THE TRANSMISSION WAS REPLACED. UPDATED 07/18/12
I PURCHASED 2011 BUICK REGAL 2011 CXL TURBO #7. SINCE THEN, I HAVE EXPERIENCED SERIOUS DIFFICULTIES WITH AM/FM/XM STEREO SYSTEM WITH NAVIGATION AND 40GB HARD DRIVE IT IS PROBLEMATIC, AND IT WAS CHALLENGING TO GET ADEQUATE DIRECTIONS, BECAUSE OF ITS POOR QUALITY OF MAP DATA. A TRIP TAKEN TWICE A YEAR I FELT A BUILD IN NAVIGATION SYSTEM WOULD BE MORE SECURE AND ACCURATE. ROAD NETWORK ATTRIBUTES ARE CONTAINED IN THE MAP DATABASE THE MAP DATABASE DID NOT INCLUDE DATA FOR OLD CONSTRUCTED AREAS OR LONG TERM POINT OF INTEREST. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUES FOR THE DRIVER AND OCCUPANTS. I WAS GIVEN WRONG DIRECTIONS AND DIRECTED TO FAR LOCATION WHEN A CLOSER LOCATION WAS AVAILABLE SINCE UPDATED INFORMATION WAS NOT INCLUDED. *TR

ADDITIONALLY, THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE KEY FAILED TO RELEASE FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH AND SHIFT OUT OF DRIVE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 18,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 60,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 BUICK REGAL. THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING LESS THAN 5 MPH IN A PARKING LOT WHEN THE VEHICLE INCREASED ACCELERATION AND CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED OF THE INCIDENT AND THERE WERE NO PERSONAL INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15,307.
PURCHASED CAR IN SUMMER OF 2011. DURING THE FIRST COLD WEATHER CAR WOULD GIVE A WARNING TO SERVICE STABILITI TRAC AND THAT THE ENGINE POWER HAD BEEN REDUCED. I DECIDED TO PULL OVER AND RESTART THE VEHICLE AND IT WOULD RESET THE COMPUTER AND THE WARNING LIGHTS WOULD TURN OFF. I TOOK THIS TO THE DEALER AND THEY COULD NOT REPLICATE THE ISSUE. I STARTED TO LET THE CAR WARM UP IN THE WINTER AND THIS SEEMED TO HELP UNTIL RECENTLY. WITHIN THE LAST FEW WEEKS I HAVE BEEN HAVING SIMILAR PROBLEMS EVEN AFTER LETTING THE CAR WARM UP. THE CAR WILL AUTOMATICALLY REDUCE ENGINE POWER EVEN WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO GET OUT OF THE WAY OF TRAFFIC. AFTER THESE INCIDENTS THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WILL COME ON BUT WILL GO OFF AFTER TURNING THE CAR OFF AND RESTARTING. I HAVE CONTACTED ONSTAR AND THEY TELL ME THE SAME THING THAT THE WARNING LIGHTS DO. I HAVE ALSO HAD ISSUES WITH THE CAR TRYING TO ACCELERATE ON ITS OWN WHILE AT A STOPLIGHT. AFTER GOING TO THE DEALER AND HAVING THEM NOT ABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM OR TRY TO REPAIR IT AND NOT FIX THE ISSUES, I FEEL AT A LOSS OF WHAT TO DO AT THIS POINT. I DO NOT HAVE THE TIME OR MONEY TO KEEP GOING TO THE DEALER ONLY TO LEAVE WITH THE SAME PROBLEMS. I WOULD THINK THAT THE MANUFACTURER WOULD BE MORE INCLINED TO FIX THESE ISSUE BEFORE PEOPLE ARE INJURED OR ANY FATALITIES OCCUR DUE TO THEIR NEGLIGENCE. INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) DISPLAY IS DIFFICULT TO SEE WHEN DRIVING TOWARD BRIGHT SUNSHINE. THIS CONDITION DOES NOT AFFECT THE IPC OPERATION. THIS CONDITION COULD BE CAUSED BY AN INSUFFICIENT COLOR CONTRAST IN THE IPC DISPLAY AND BY INSUFFICIENT AMBIENT LIGHT REACHING THE CLUSTER FACE DUE TO DEEP TUNNELS AROUND THE IPC GAUGES. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 BUICK REGAL. THE CONTACT STATED AFTER ADJUSTING THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE SEAT, THE SEAT LEANED FORWARD INDEPENDENTLY. THE CONTACT LATER DISCOVERED A BOLT WAS DETACHED AND ON THE FLOOR NEAR THE SEAT. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER AND THE FAILURE WAS DIAGNOSED AS BOTH REAR SEAT BOLTS NOT BEING SECURED TO BODY, CAUSING THE SEAT TO HAVE EXCESSIVE PLAY. THE DEALER ADVISED THAT HOLES FOR THE BODY WOULD NEED TO BE READJUSTED AS SECURED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. 2011 BUICK REGAL. CONSUMER STATES ON FIVE SEPARATE OCCASIONS THE ENGINE STALLED *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED WHEN THE VEHICLE STALLED, IT WAS DIFFICULT TO RESTART. THE LAST TWO INSTANCES, THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE TOWED. THE DEALER REPROGRAMMED THE ECM AND REPLACED THE FUEL PUMP ON JULY 22, 2011. HOWEVER, THE STALLING CONTINUED WELL INTO THE NEXT MONTH. *JB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 BUICK REGAL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE WAS IN WHAT THE CONTACT BELIEVED TO BE AN UNSAFE POSITION ON THE CONSOLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT IF THE LEVER WAS INADVERTENTLY HIT, IT WOULD CAUSE THE VEHICLE TO COME TO A HALT WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED. THE CONTACT BELIEVED THE FAILURE TO BE A DESIGN FLAW THAT NEEDED TO BE ADDRESSED. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHEN THE ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE WAS ENGAGED, THE VEHICLE WOULD ABRUPTLY STOP WITHOUT THE ILLUMINATION OF THE BRAKE LIGHTS. THE MANUFACTURE WAS NOT CONTACTED IN REGARDS TO THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 2,000. UPDATED 07/21/11 *BF THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE HAS EN ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE WHICH CAN BE ENGERGIZED BY LIFTING A SWITCH ON THE MIDDLE CONSOLE. IT IS USED WHEN PARKING ON AN INCLINE. THERE IS NO NORMAL FOOT OR HAND LEVER FOR EMERGENCY BRAKING. THE OWNERS MANUAL STATED THE VEHICLE HAS A BRAKE ASSIST FEATURE DESIGNED TO ASSIST THE DRIVER IN AN EMERGENCY SITUATION AND IT IS NOT EPB. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE EPB CAN BE ACTIVATED WHILE DRIVING IN ANY GEAR POSITION. THE CONSUMER STATED IF THAT WERE TO HAPPEN, IT WOULD BRING THE VEHICLE TO AN ABRUPT STOP SENDING EVERYONE IN THE VEHICLE TOWARD THE WINDSHIELD.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 BUICK REGAL. WHILE THE CONTACT WAS DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 22 MPH OVER A ROAD BUMP, THE FOUR SIDE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED ABRUPTLY WITH A LOUD NOISE. THERE WAS NO IMPACT TO THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL AND SUSTAINED BODY BRUISES AS A RESULT OF THE EXTENSIVE FORCE DURING THE AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER WHERE THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF FAILURE AND DECLARED THE AIR BAG DEFECT AS A PRODUCT FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 1,133. WE HAVE EXPERIENCED STARTER MISHAPS OFF AND ON SINCE WE BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE EG: WHEN WE TURNED THE ENGINE OFF, IT WOULD CONTINUE TO RUN UNTIL KEY WAS REMOVED. ON 01/17/11, MY BUICK REGAL 2011 ENGINE WARNING LIGHT WAS ON. I TOOK IT TO DEALER SERVICE WHERE I BOUGHT IT (LAKE GMC/BUICK OF LAKE ELSINORE CA, TO INVESTIGATE. THEIR FINDINGS: GAS CAP CAUSED ENGINE LIGHT WARNING. THE CAP WAS REPLACED PER THE SERVICE ADVISER (SANDY). ON 01/20/11, MY WIFE LEFT WORK IN ONTARIO CA AROUND 5PM AND DROVE ONTO THE FRWY I-15 S TOWARDS LAKE ELSINORE. SUDDENLY WHILE DRIVING, THE ENGINE SHUT DOWN. MY WIFE COASTED TO THE SIDE. SHE CALLED ON STAR AND THEY SENT FOR A TOW TRUCK. THE CAR WAS TOWED TO CHRISTOPHER CHRYSLER IN ONTARIO CA. ON 01/ 21/11,FRIDAY PM. CHRISTOPHER SERVICE ADVISER [XXX)]CALLED ME ON MON 01/24/11 TO SAY THAT THEY FOUND A FAULTY STARTER SWITCH BUT HE WANTED TO CHECK OUT ANOTHER POTENTIAL PROBLEM EG: AN AFTER MARKET DEVICE (LOW-JACK) WAS ATTACHED TO THE STARTER AND HE THOUGHT THAT IT MAY ALSO BE CAUSING PROBLEMS. HE SAID THAT HE HAD TO RUN MORE CHECKS AND VERIFY FINDINGS WITH UPPER MGT. HE SAID HE WOULD KEEP THE VEHICLE ANOTHER DAY. ON 01/25/11, AT 8:30 AM, [XXX] CALLED ME AND SAID THAT THE PROBLEM (STARTER SWITCH) WAS FIXED AND CAR IS READY TO PICK UP. I ASKED [XXX] IS THAT THE ONLY PROBLEM? HE SAID YES, AND THAT THEY RECONNECTED THE LOAD-JACK AND FEEL IT WASN'T PART OF THE PROBLEM AFTER DRIVING WITH IT ATTACHED. I ASKED IF HE WAS SURE THAT WE WON'T HAVE ANY MORE PROBLEMS AND HE SAID WE SHOULDN'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS. I TOLD [XXX] THAT MY WIFE IS VERY ANXIOUS AND AFRAID THAT SHE WILL BREAK DOWN ON THE FRWY AGAIN. [XXX] DIDN'T COMMENT ANYMORE. I TOLD HIM THAT MY WIFE WILL PICK UP THE CAR AFTER 5PM THIS DAY.
