The contact owns a 2024 Cadillac CT4. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the low oil pressure warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where the rear main seal of the engine was replaced. The contact stated that after the replacement of the rear main seal, while driving at an undisclosed speed, there were abnormally loud sounds coming from the front end of the vehicle, near the engine compartment. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer again where unknown parts were found loosened in the engine from the previous repair. The vehicle was repaired; however, the contact stated that several days later, while driving, the vehicle lost braking functionality. The contact was able to safely drive the vehicle back to the residence. The vehicle was then towed back to the local dealer however, the cause of the failure could not be determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 5,200. The VIN was not available.
