Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)I ATTEMPTED TO BRAKE TO ACCOMMODATE TRAFFIC, BUT THE CRUISE CONTROL DID NOT DISENGAGE; MY VEHICLE SLOWED A FEW MILES PER HOUR AND THEN RAPIDLY ACCELERATED, ALMOST CAUSING AN ACCIDENT. I TRIED TO BRAKE AGAIN, BUT THE SAME THING HAPPENED! ONLY WHEN I PUT THE CAR IN NEUTRAL WAS I ABLE TO STOP! I HAVE READ A FEW OTHER SIMILAR REPORTS IN WHICH THE CAR WAS NOT EVEN USING CRUISE CONTROL AND AM NOW AFRAID OF GETTING INTO A "TOYOTA"-TYPE ACCIDENT EVEN IF I DO NOT USE THE CRUISE CONTROL. WHAT AM I TO DO??? PLEASE ADVISE... *TR
