I HAVE SEVERAL RECALLS THAT WERE NOT DONE TO MY VEHICLE. I MOVED AROUND ALOT AND WHEN I ASKED THE DEALER, THEY SAID NO. I FOUND OUT THAT I PAID FOR SOME OF MY RECALLS INCLUDING THE LATEST ONE WITH MY HEADLIGHTS/ HEADLAMPS. THEY HAVE BEEN AN ISSUE FOR MANY YEARS WITH WATER, MOISTURE, THE DEALERSHIP SAID WEAR AND TEAR , NOT SO, FAULTY FROM ALL THE COMPLAINTS WORLD-WIDE. I HAD PURCHASED MY VEHICLE STRAIGHT UP FROM THE DEALERSHIP IN 2011. I HAVE BEEN THE ONLY DRIVER AND OWNER OF MY VEHICLE. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME RECOVER ALL THE RECALLS FOR MY VEHICLE SO MY CAR CAN GET FIXED. THANKS AGAIN IN ADVANCED.
I was traveling on major roadway 95 south on the eastern part of MD .I had just exited off the highway as i was exiting and braking my brakes went totally out. This could have been a deadly accident for me and others .I had my car towed to the a cadillac dealership for repairs . The dealership replaced the brake modulator.I later discovered that GM has know about this problem with this particular modle and years 2011 and beyond and has had many complaints about failing brake modulator. There was no warnings of any kind .I did file a complaint with GM but i have not gotting no response . I
GM safety recall N212340980. Nine (9) warnings are specifically listed within the Recall letter; I have been experiencing 6 of 9 warning messages during an active driving session of this vehicle. In August 2021, visited Cole GMC / Cadillac service location for an assessment of parts needed to repair safety items. Refused service request despite previously scheduled appt. time; dealer required $100 fee to perform safety analysis despite Safety Recall letter / case. (08/27/2021) Contacted GM safety hotline to determine next steps. Spoke with GM rep who indicated a solution would be communicated with 24-48 business hours. No response prior to 09/02/2021 - attempted follow-up call @ 3pm, :28 hold, GM call center rep could not reach anyone in Recall department.
THE CAR IS SWAYING BACK AND FORTH AT SPEEDS ABOVE 50 MPH ON GOOD ROADS. HAD MECHANIC LOOK AT IT AND HE SAID SHOCKS WERE GOOD AND EVERYTHING LOOKED FINE. AFTER RESEARCHING ON INTERNET I FOUND THAT OTHERS HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE REAR TOE LINK ADJUSTER. SO I LOOKED AT MINE AND FOUND IT LOOSE BUT THE NUT HAS NOT BACKED OFF. I THINK IT HAS RUSTED AND IS SLIPPING IN THE THREADS. I CAN SEND A VIDEO SHOWING HOW LOOSE IT IS WHEN I PUSH IT UP AND DOWN. IF YOU WANT TO SEE WHAT A PART LOOKS LIKE "BEFORE THE ACCIDENT" PLEASE CONTACT ME TOMORROW, APRIL 12, BEFORE I GET IT REPLACED. WE ARE AFRAID TO DRIVE IT. YOU NEED TO SEE IT AS IS BECAUSE THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE INVESTIGATING.

Then my Service Traction Control light, Service Stabilitrak light, Service Rear Axle light, the Stabilitrak malfunction indicator lamp all come on my display screen. I took my tires to have them rotated and the rear tires were unevenly worn I was told. The other thing that is happening is that my steering wheel does not stay going straight, it veers off to the right.

IMPROPER SEAL ALLOWS MOISTURE AND COBDENSATUON IN WHICH CAUSES THE HEADLIGHTS BURN OUT. I HAVE OWNED THIS VEHICLE FOR 2.5 YEARS AND HAVE REPLACED THE HEADLIGHT BULB 3 TIMES.
TIMING BELT LOOSE, CAUSING CYLINDERS 1,3 AND 5 TO MISFIRE. CAR HAD BEEN JERKING, WHAT FELT LIKE SLIPPING FOR A FEW MONTHS. I THOUGHT IT NEEDED A TUNE UP.
THE HEADLIGHTS ON THE CAR DON'T WORK PROPERLY. THEY ARE TOO DIM TO SEE AT NIGHT. YOU CAN'T SEE THE ROADWAY AT ALL. LIGHT REPLACEMENT DOESN'T FIX PROBLEM. IS A PROBLEM THAT THE CAR WAS BUILT WITH. OTHERS I KNOW ARE HAVING THE SAME ISSUE. THERE NEEDS TO BE A NATIONAL RECALL ON THIS TO HELP SAFE PEOPLE FROM TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS THAT ARE THE MANUFACTURERS FAULT.
THE CAR TAKES A UNEXPECTED HESITATION DURING ACCELERATION ON ROAD OR HIGHWAY AT ANY GIVEN TIME WHICH IS VERY SCARY
TL* THE CONTACT'S AUNT OWNS A 2011 CADILLAC SRX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HER AUNT WAS DRIVING AT 25 MPH, THE VEHICLE INDEPENDENTLY ACCELERATED WITHOUT WARNING AND HIT A TREE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY UPON IMPACT. THE CONTACT'S AUNT WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL AND TREATED FOR INJURIES TO HER LEFT HAND, HEAD AND CHEST. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BY HER INSURANCE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR AN INVESTIGATION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND THE CONTACT WAS GIVEN A CASE NUMBER. UPON HER OWN INVESTIGATION, THE CONTACT LINKED HER AUNT'S FAILURE TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V571000 (SUSPENSION); HOWEVER, THE MANUFACTURER INFORMED HER THAT THE RECALL HAD BEEN SERVICED AT LABADIE BUICK GMC(711 S EUCLID AVE, BAY CITY, MI 48706) IN 2014. This Vehicle has a design flaw with sunroof which leaks water into the car from floor board passenger side. Sunroof Drain lines undersized even for a standard sized sunroof. As of result of this, the drain lines, at best are barely adequate for light rain and intense rain cloggs and rain enters the car. I have taken to dealer twice paid $651.00 repair and not fixed. Dealer should have correct information to repair the drain issue. Cadillac of Novi, Service Manager will not return phone calls. Very Poor service for a Luxury product.
I BOUGHT THE USED CAR ABOUT ONE MONTH AGO. I WAS EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE CAR UNTIL I HAD TO DRIVE IT ONE NIGHT. IT WAS LIKE DRIVING A CAR AT NIGHT USING ONE 6 VOLT BATTERY OPERATED FLASH LIGHT FORR THE LOW BEA M HEAD LIGHTS.. AFTER REVIEWING THE MASSIVE ON LINE COMPLAINS, I CALL CADILLAC DIRECT AND ASK FOR HELP. THEY SUGGESTED I TAKE IT TO A GMC DEALERSHIP IN MCKINNEY TEXAS. I WAS TOLD THEY COULD REPAIR 100 PERCENT FOR $,890. I AGREED AND PAID AND LEFT THE CAR FOR AN ENTIRE DAY. THE CAR WAS RETURNED THAT EVENING AND I DROVE IT THAT NIGHT WITH NO IMPROVEMENT WHAT SOEVER. THEY IS NO WAY THIS CAR COULD PASS A TEXAS SAFETY INSPECTION. I AM A HEART AND LUNG AND KIDNEY PATIENT AND MY WIFE DRIVES ME AND ITS RAINING SOME DAYS AND DARK EARLY EVENING NOW AND THIS IS A DANGEROUS VEHICLE! YOU CAN'T SEE A THING AND NO ONE CAN SEE YOU AT ALL!! WHAT MAKES OUR VEHICLE MORE DANGEROUS , ITS BLACK AND NO ONE CAN SEE US AT NIGHT OR BAD WEATHER!! WE NEED YOUR HELP TERRIBLY BEFORE THERE'S A TRAGIC ACCIDENT!!! D
THE SEAL ALLOWS MOISTURE. THE HEADLIGHTS BURN OUT.
MAJOR DRIVING IMPACT DIAGNOSTIC REPORT 2 ISSUES FOUND FUEL PUMP CONTROL P025A FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE QEUESTED MIL ILUMINATION P069E
BRAKE PEDAL RANDOMLY GOES TO FLOOR WHEN TRYING TO STOP AND VEHICLE LOSES BRAKE PRESSURE. THE PADS, ROTORS, AND FLUID LEVELS ARE GOOD. FROM MY RESEARCH ONLINE THOUSANDS OF OTHER PEOPLE HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM AND SOME HAVE BEEN IN ACCIDENTS BECAUSE OF IT. GM HAS NOT ISSUED A RECALL OR GIVE CREDIT FOR REPAIR DESPITE BEING A HUGE SAFETY CONCERN. I HOPE THIS IS FINALLY RECALLED BEFORE MORE PEOPLE GET HURT.
MY DRAINS FOR MY SUN ROOF ARE NOT WORKING, WATER ALL ON PASSENGER FLOOR, MECHANIC SAID THERE WAS A RECALL ON THIS SOME YEARS AGO AND WAS WONDERING IF THE RECALL WAS STILL ACTIVE
WHEN EVER THE ANTI LOCK BRAKES OR TRACTION CONTROL ARE ACTIVATED THE BRAKE PEDAL GOES TO THE FLOOR WITH NO OR VERY LITTLE BRAKING. THIS HAPPENS WHEN STOPPING IN THE RAIN OR SNOW AND WHEN THE FRONT WHEELS LOOSE TRACTION. AFTER A FEW MINUTES OF PUMPING THE BRAKES THE PEDAL RETURNS TO NORMAL AND THE BRAKES WORK PERFECTLY. NO CODES ARE DISPLAYED. I TOOK IT INTO MY MECHANIC AND HE COULD FIND NOTHING WRONG. I RESEARCHED THE PROBLEM ON THE INTERNET AND FOUND 30 OTHER COMPLAINTS OF THE SAME PROBLEM. I WENT TO JOHN BEAR CADILLAC IN HAMILTON ONT. AND THEY LOOKED UP MY CAR AND COULDN'T RECOMMEND A FIX FOR IT AS THE PARTS WEN'T PRODUCED ANY MORE. THIS IS A 2011 YEAR CAR AND THE SRX USED THE SAME COMPONETS UNTIL 2016. THIS IS REALLY DANGEROUS AS I CANNOT DEPEND ON THE ANTI-LOCK BRAKES IN AN EMERGENCY. ILIVE IN [XXX]. THE TIMING CHAIN JUMPED A TOOTH CAUSE I LIVE IN RUS CODE P016P017
THERE IS MOISTURE IN THE HEADLAMPS WHICH HAS CAUSED THE LIGHTS TO DIM TO THE POINT THAT IT IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT. I CAN SEE WHEN I TURN ON THE HIGH BEAMS BUT I CAN ONLY DO THAT WHEN THERE IS NO ONCOMING TRAFFIC.
The contact owns a 2011 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated that the service stabilitrak warning light was illuminated. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V473000 (Suspension) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact took the vehicle to the local dealer and it was confirmed that the part was not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer had not been made aware of the issue. VIN tool confirms part not available. The failure mileage was approximately 110,000.
MY STABILIZER TRACK/ABS LIGHT CAME ON BUT BEFORE IT DID MY CAR WAS DRIVING ABOUT 20 MILES EVEN THOUGH I HAD MY FOOT DOWN ON THE GAS. THEN IT JUMPS INTO MOVING FAST. THE LIGHT GOES ON AND OFF, SO WHEN IT'S OFF THE CAR WON'T MOVE IT DRAGS THEN IT JUMPS BUT WHEN THE STABILIZER TRACK/ABS LIGHT COMES BACK ON IT DOESN'T DO THIS. I CHECKED RECALLS AND IT SAYS MY VEHICLE DOESN'T HAVE ANY BUT WHO KNOWS IF THIS HAS BEEN FIXED IMPROPERLY BEFORE. I WAS DRIVING AND CARS WERE BEEPING THEN WHEN IT JUMPED I ALMOST HIT A CAR IN FRONT OF ME.
THE SERVICE STABILITRAK LIGHT COMES ON FREQUENTLY, THE TRANSMISSION WILL FEEL LIKE IT IS NOT ENGAGING & @ TIMES THE CAR WILL HAVE PRE-IGNITION WHEN ATTEMPTING TO TURN OFF THE ENGINE.
LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE SO DIM YOU CAN'T SEE AT NIGHT. ALREADY PUT IN NEW BULBS. WE JUST BOUGHT THE CAR ON 5/5/2020. *TR
THERE ARE 7 RECALLS ON THIS VEHICLE AND THE MECHANIC VERIFIES THAT NONE OF THE RECALLS HAVE BEEN PERFORMED
THE TRUNK OF MY CAR IS NOT ACCESSIBLE. ONE DAY THE KEY FOB STOPPED WORKING. THE BUTTON ON THE DOOR GIVES NO ACCESS AS WELL. I'VE HEARD THERE WAS ONCE A RECALL ON THIS ISSUE BUT IT HAS EXPIRED. I HAVE NO ACCESS TO MY SPARE TIRE!! HOW CAN A RECALL EXPIRE!
DRIVING AN JUST DIM ON IT ON
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 CADILLAC SRX. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HEADLAMPS FAILED TO ILLUMINATE WHILE DRIVING IN LOW LIGHT CONDITIONS. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE AT NIGHT. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO BE DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE RECEIVED DOCUMENTATION FROM THE MANUFACTURER THAT THE DEFECT WAS BEING HANDLED BY A CONSULTING FIRM. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,000.
HAD TO COME TO A SUDDEN STOP, THE BRAKE PEDDLE AFTERWORDS GOES DOWN TO THE FLOOR WITH LITTLE STOPPING PRESSURE. HAS HAPPENED AT RANDOM ON OTHER OCCASIONS.
WATER COLLECTS ON THE INSIDE OF THE SEALED HEADLIGHTS
THE DRIVER SIDE HEAD LIGHT IS SIGNIFICANTLY DIMMER THAN THE PASSENGER SIDE MAKING NIGHT TIME DRIVING ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE. WE REPLACED THE BULB WITH TOP OF THE LINE ONE, AND WHEN THAT DID FIX THE PROBLEM, WE RETURNED IT TO THE DEALERSHIP TO HAVE THEM SERVICE IT. WE PICKED THE CAR UP AFTER THEY ALSO REPLACED THE BULB BUT THEY SAID FOR US TO CALL A CADILLAC DEALERSHIP TO FURTHER HELP US. THE CADILLAC DEALERSHIP CONFIRMED THERE WAS A RECALL ON MY EXACT MODEL AND INFOR.ED US THAT WE SHOULD BE RECEIVING A LETTER IN THE MAIL WITH FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS, BUT WE AS OF TODAY, HAVE NOT RECEIVED.
THE HEADLAMPS ARE DIM DUE TO CONDENSATION IN THE HEADLIGHT HOUSINGS. THERE SHOULD BE A RECALL ISSUED.
I HAVE COMPLAINED TO CADILLAC ABOUT MY HEADLIGHTS HAVING CONDENSATION WHICH LEADS TO THEM INTERMITTENTLY TURNING OFF. IT'S ILLEGAL TO DRIVE WITHOUT HEADLIGHTS AT NIGHT IN WA STATE AND IT'S DANGEROUS. ON 2/28/20, CADILLAC SENT ME A LETTER ACKNOWLEDGING THAT'S THE 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, AND 2015 SRX MAY EXPERIENCE ISSUES THAT COULD CAUSE MOISTURE TO ACCUMULATE IN THEIR HEADLAMPS CAPSULE AND CAUSE HALOGEN HEADLIGHTS TO BECOME DIMMER OVER TIME. THEY STATE IN THE LETTER THAT THEY WILL ONLY REIMBURSE UP TO $1,600 FOR THE REPAIR. THE REPAIR IS $2,600. THEN THEY SAID THE CLAIM FORM HAS TO BE SUBMITTED BY MAY 28, 2020. NONE OF THE DEALERSHIPS HAVE THE HEADLIGHTS BECAUSE THEY ARE ON BACK ORDERS. THEY TOLD ME THEY MAY NOT GET THE HEADLIGHTS BY THAT TIME. IN OTHER STATES LAWSUITS HAVE BEEN FILED WHERE CADILLAC DID NOT WIN. IN THOSE LAWSUITS IT WAS NOTED THAT CADILLAC WAS AWARE OF THIS DEFECT AND IGNORED IT. I'M ASKING THAT YOU PLEASE ORDER CADILLAC TO ISSUE A RECALL. IT'S THE RIGHT THING TO DO AND IT'S A SAFETY CONCERN.
on Feb 24, 2020 Cadillac sent letters notifying owners of Cadilla 2010-2015 SRX that they will replace the headlamps or reimburse any out of pocket payments for headlamp replacement or service. I had headlamp bulb replaced and sent the invoice to GM for reimbursement I had to resubmit my claim with the proper invoice and information from the repair shop who tried replacing my head lamp bulbs. I did this within the time frame requested. Now they have informed me they have closed out the reimbursement and will not reiumburse me for the headlamp service i had done in april 2019 to try and improve my headlamps with replacement bulbs. I have emailed all this information and attached the bulb replacement invoice to cadillac begining in Oct 13,2022 and they still are aguing they will not reimburse me. They call me weekly, email me weekly, since 9/13/2022 to tell me nothing and they will not reimbuse me for a recall they initiated! They call me weekly to tell me this and emial me the same form letter
STABILITY CONTROL LIGHT AND REDUCED ENGINE POWER HAPPENED AT A STOP LIGHT. VEHICLE WAS IN STOP AND GO TRAFFIC APPROACHING TRAFFIC LIGHT ON HIGHWAY EXIT RAMP. CAR THROTTLE BODY ISSUES ALREADY NOTED FOR OTHER CADILLAC SRX MODELS OF SAME YEAR BUT GM SAID OUR VIN WAS NOT COVERED. IT IS THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM LISTED IN THE GM SERICE BULLITIN # 14582A FROM OCTOBER 2015.
HEADLIGHT MOISTURE PROBLEMS, WHEN WATER GETS INTO THE HEADLIGHT THE HEADLIGHT WILL NO LONGER WORK UNTIL THE WATER EVAPORATE OR DRIES OUT COMPLETELY.
I WAS PARKED IN MY DRIVEWAY AND OPENED THE DOOR AND FOUND ABOUT 3 INCHES OF WATER ON BOTH THE DRIVERS AND PASSENGER SIDE. I FELT THE SIDE PANELS, UNDER DASH, TOP OF DASH, HEADLINER, WINDOWS AND ALL WERE DRY. THE SEATS AND THE MIDDLE COLUMN COMPARTMENT FELT DAMP. I LOOKED ONLINE AND FOUND THERE WERE COMPLAINTS OF THE DRAIN TUBES LEAKING. AS THE WEEK WENT ON I NOTICED THE CAR WAS STARTING TO GET MOLD. IT GOT SO BAD I COULDN'T DRIVE THE CAR BECAUSE IT WAS MAKING ME ILL WITH BREATHING ISSUES. I TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP AND TOLD HIM IT WAS LEAKING AND THAT I RESEARCHED A BIT AND FOUND THAT THEY HAD ISSUES WITH THE TUBES AND HE SAID THEY WOULD NEED TO KEEP IT OVERNIGHT AND WOULD CHECK IT AND LET ME KNOW. HE CALLS THE NEXT DAY AND SAYS IT LOOKS LIKE ITS COMING FROM THE ROOF THEY WOULD NEED TO TAKE OFF THE HEADLINER AND PERFORM A LEAK CHECK TO VERIFY IF THAT WAS THE CAUSE. HE GAVE ME ANOTHER ESTIMATE THAT WAS TO INCLUDE THE VERIFYING AND LEAK TEST AND REPLACING THE SEATBELTS AND FRONT RUG FOR $6000 AND SUGGESTS I START AN INSURANCE CLAIM.I TELL HIM TO NOT TAKE THE HEADLINER OFF AND I WOULD CHECK INTO THE INSURANCE . WHEN I PICK IT UP HE HANDS ME AN ESTIMATE THAT ENDS UP ALMOST $8000.00! THEY HAD MY CAR OVERNIGHT AND DID NOTHING AND CHARGED ME $300 FOR LABOR! I TRY TO TURN IT IN TO INSURANCE AND THEY REJECT IT BECAUSE HE TELLS THEM HE DIDN'T ACTUALLY VERIFY THE LEAK EVEN THOUGH HE CHARGED ME. SO I AM STUCK WITH! THATS A BIG SAFETY ISSUE! MY CAR IS ACTUALLY KILLING ME SITTING IN IT. I COULD NEVER REPLACE THE VEHICLE AT THE PRICE I ORIGINALLY PAID NOR CAN I SELL IT OR HOPE TO GET ANY VALUE FROM IT TO GET ANOTHER CAR. IT HAS ONLY 71,000 MILES ON IT. A $45000 CAR THAT IS BASICALLY WORTHLESS NOW! *TR
