The contact owns a 2020 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that after opening the convertible top, the sliding door used to secure the convertible top into the rear of the vehicle malfunctioned and failed to automatically close. While attempting to manually close the door on the convertible top, the contact almost injured a finger. The contact was concerned that while driving with the convertible top opened that the sliding door might malfunction and cause the convertible top to become unsecured. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed and determined that the convertible top sliding door was faulty and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 50,000.
