Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)BOUGHT USED 06 CORVETTE. BROUGHT CAR IN TO GM DEALER FOR REPAIR OF REAR WINDOW SINCE MY TINT INSTALLER SAID WINDOW WAS DEFECTIVE. I ALSO NOTICED THE IMAGES THROUGH THE WINDOW ARE BLURRED BADLY. THE TINT APPEARS TO CLARIFY THE IMAGES. DEALER SAID MUST SEE GM REP FOR REPLACEMENT. NOTICED ANOTHER 06 CORVETTE HAD SAME BLURRED REAR WINDOW, HOWEVER THE 09 CORVETTE REAR WINDOW IS IMPROVED BUT STILL CREATES BLURRED VISION. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 CHEVROLET CORVETTE. THE VISIBILITY IN THE REARVIEW MIRROR WAS DISTORTED AND BLURRED. THE DEALER STATED THAT EVERY OTHER CORVETTE WAS AFFECTED AND THERE WAS NOTHING THAT THEY COULD DO ABOUT IT. THEY DID NOT SPECIFY THAT THIS WAS RELATED TO ANY RECALLS. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 15, AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 2,085. *AK UPDATED 05/23/07. *JB
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
