So yesterday night I was at walmart and I had the car idling while putting stuff in the car the interior lights dimmed and there was a rattle that came from underneath the car right after the car stalled out twice, I had interior lights on but no power to the engine just sitting and once I started driving it didn't stall out on highway, but there is a possibility of this happening at a stop sign or traffic light, but again no check engine light, wondering if you can research into this? seems to be a reoccurring situation.
WHEN I DRIVE MY VEHICLE MY BRAKES WORK FINE MOST OF THE TIME. FROM TIME TO TIME WHEN I'M AT A RED LIGHT THE PEDAL WILL SLOWLY START TO GO ALL THE WAY DOWN AND CAR WILL START MOVING FORWARD. I HAVE TO RELEASE IT AND QUICKLY PUMP THE BRAKE AGAIN TO STOP IT. THEN THIS HAS HAPPENED MORE THAN JUST A FEW TIMES; WHEN PULLING OUT OF A PARKING SPOT ON REVERSE MY BRAKES WON'T RESPOND AND THE CAR WILL JUST GO BACKWARDS AND I HAVE TO PULL THE EMERGENCY BRAKE BECAUSE THERE IS NO OTHER WAY OF STOPING IT. NOW I DO NOT WANT TO HIT ANY VEHICLE OR PERSON!!!! I HAVE TAKEN IT IN TO SHOPS TO HAVE IT LOOKED AT BUT NO ONE SEAMS TO FIND THE PROBLEM, BECAUSE APPARENTLY THE BREAKERS HAVE NO VISIBLE ISSUES. ALSO ONE REVERSE LIGHT IF NOT BOTH AT TIMES, WILL STAY ON WHILE DRIVING.
TURN SIGNAL REFLECTOR CLIPS ON BOTH FRONT HEADLIGHTS ARE BROKEN OFF INSIDE THE DOME COVER FOR THE LIGHTS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET CRUZE. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE HEADLIGHTS FAILED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FAILURE PREVIOUSLY OCCURRED AND WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER (PRESTON HOOD CHEVROLET LOCATED ON 11325 CEDAR LAKE RD, BILOXI, MS, 39532), BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED DUE TO THE DIAGNOSTIC FEE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN ANY RECALLS. THE MANUFACTURER PROVIDED CASE NUMBER: 8-3011886244. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 57,999.
THE TURN LIGHT REFLECTORS FELL OUT OF BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDES. THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY WHEN THIS HAPPENED. I AM TRING TO FIND A WAY TO REPLACE JUST THAT SPECIFIC PART BUT CAN NOT SEEM TO FIND THAT SPECIFIC PART.
HEADLIGHTS TURN SIGNAL REFLECTORS ARE BURNING AND MELTING INSIDE HEADLIGHT AND WHEN COOL BREAKING OFF AND LANDING IN THE FRONT OF THE HEADLIGHT. BOTH DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDES.
WITHIN A MONTH OF BUYING THIS VEHICLE, THE ORANGE BLINKER REFLECTOR FELL OFF AND WAS JUST SITTING INSIDE THE HEADLIGHT. BECAUSE IT WAS UNDER WARRANTY, THE DEALERSHIP FIXED IT. ABOUT TWO MONTHS LETTER, THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO THE OTHER SIDE AND MY CAR WAS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY. THE ONLY WAY TO FIX THIS IS TO CHANGE OUT THE ENTIRE HEADLIGHT. ACCORDING TO THE DEALERSHIP, IT CAN'T JUST BE FIXED. BOTH TIMES THIS HAPPENED, THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CHEVROLET CRUZE. WHILE DRIVING AT 55 MPH, THE ENGINE STALLED AND BOTH OF THE HEADLIGHTS BECAME INOPERABLE. THE CONTACT CRASHED THE VEHICLE INTO A SIDE RAILING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SIGNAL INDICATORS WERE INOPERABLE. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. A POLICE REPORT WAS NOT FILED AND NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 10,000.
I WAS DRIVING EAST ON THE ROAD. THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME SUDDENLY STOPPED AND I WAS UNABLE TO STOP BEFORE HITTING THEM. I DO FEEL I WAS FOLLOWING AT A SAFE DISTANCE BUT FOR SOME REASON THE CAR DID NOT SLOW DOWN OR STOP AS I FEEL IT SHOULD HAVE. THE FRONT END OF THE CAR CRUMPLED THOUGH THE AIR BAGS NEVER DEPLOYED AND THE ONSTAR CRASH RESPONSE NEVER ACTIVATED. THERE WAS ALSO VERY MINIMAL, IF ANY, DAMAGE TO THE CAR IN FRONT OF ME (POSSIBLY DENTED THE BUMPER). ON A SIDE NOTE, I HAVE OWNED THIS CAR FOR 2 MONTHS NOW AND HAVE ONLY BEEN ABLE TO DRIVE IT FOR APPROXIMATELY 17 DAYS BECAUSE I HAVE TO KEEP TAKING IT BACK TO THE SHOP TO BE WORKED ON FOR MALFUNCTIONS IN OTHER SYSTEMS OF THE BRAND NEW CAR. I AM CONCERNED THAT THERE MAY HAVE BEEN A MALFUNCTION WITH THE BRAKES SYSTEM OR AIRBAGS AS WELL.
