TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 CHEVROLET EQUINOX. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, A LOUD CLUNKING NOISE WAS PRESENT WHEN TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL IN EITHER DIRECTION. WHEN DEPRESSING THE BRAKE PEDAL, THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE WOULD SHAKE AND VIBRATE SEVERELY. THE CONTACT WAS CONCERNED OF LOSING CONTROL AND CRASHING THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO LONE STAR CHEVROLET (18900 NORTHWEST PKWY, JERSEY VILLAGE, TX) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE BALL JOINTS AND CONTROL ARM WERE FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000.
