REAR DOOR LOCK FAILS TO OPEN OR CLOSE. MUST BE MANUALLY UNLOCKED OR LOCKED. THE SAFETY CONCERN IS THE INABILITY TO LOCK OR UNLOCK THE DOOR IN AN EMERGENCY. MUST PHYSICALLY CLIMB INTO BACK SEAT TO REACH THE LEVER TO UNLOCK THE DOOR AS THE LEVER IS LOCATED AT THE REAR OF THE DOOR. THIS MAY SEEM TO BE MORE OF A CONVENIENCE ISSUE, BUT IT COULD VERY WELL BECOME A MATTER OF LIFE OR DEATH PARTICULARLY IF THE OCCUPANT IS A CHILD OR A PERSON WITH A DISABILITY. FURTHERMORE, I READ NUMEROUS ACCOUNTS OF DOOR LOCK ACTUATORS FAILING ON THESE VEHICLES. IT IS INDEED A SAFETY ISSUE. MUST A PERSON DIE BEFORE CORRECTIVE MEASURES ARE ORDERED?
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 CHEVROLET MALIBU. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 45 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED AND WAS COASTED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. AFTER RESTARTING, THE VEHICLE RESUMED NORMALLY. IN ADDITION, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START UNTIL AFTER A FEW MOMENTS WHEN THE IGNITION KEY WAS TURNED TO THE ACCESSORY POSITION. THE FAILURE RECURRED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 21,000.
MY CAR STOPPED BEING ABLE TO SHIFT. I PULLED OVER AND LOST THE ABILITY TO REVERSE AS WELL. THE MECHANIC CONFIRMED IT WAS MY TRANSMISSION, AND RECOMMENDED I TAKE IT TO THE DEALERSHIP B/C CHEVY CONSISTENTLY HAS PROBLEMS WITH TRANSMISSIONS AND THERE WAS A "SPECIAL COVERAGE ADJUSTMENT". MY PARTICULAR VIN DID NOT QUALIFY TO BE REPAIRED BY CHEVY/GM ALTHOUGH IT WAS THE EXACT SAME ISSUES THAT THE "SPECIAL COVERAGE" PAPERWORK DESCRIBED. DO NOT BUY A CHEVY OR GM VEHICLE. THEY REFUSE TO OWN UP TO ANY ISSUES WITH THEIR PARTS. THEIR POOR QUALITY STANDARDS DON'T STOP AT THE ASSEMBLY LINE, THEY GO RIGHT ON THROUGH TO CUSTOMER SERVICE AS WELL.
WHILE DRIVING HOME FROM WORK, TRAVELING AT 60MPH ON OH ST RT 108, VEHICLE SUDDENLY STARTED SHAKING AND SLOWED TO 20 MPH. WARNING LIGHT STATED, "REDUCED ENGINE PWR". I HAD TO PULL THE CAR TO THE SIDE OF THE RODE IN ORDER FOR THE CAR TRAVELING BEHIND ME TO PASS. DROVE THE REMAINING 4 MILES HOME AT THE REDUCED SPEED. TRIED TO TURN OFF THE VEHICLE AND RESTART TO CLEAR THE MESSAGE. DID NOT WORK. NOT SURE WHAT THE CAUSE IS AT THIS POINT. REVIEW OF POSSIBLE CAUSES ON LINE SHOWED NUMEROUS CASES JUST LIKE MINE. THIS APPEARS TO BE AN ISSUE WHICH COULD RESULT IN SIGNIFICANT INJURIES.

AFTER STOPPING AT A RED LIGHT, A POPPING NOISE EMITTED FROM THE SEAT BELT RETRACTOR AND THE SEAT BELT SUDDENLY BECAME LOOSE AND WOULD NOT SECURE THE DRIVER. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,000.
THERE IS A GAS LEAK AT THE FUEL PUMP. THIS IS A FIRE HAZARD DUE TO THE LARGE AMOUNT OF GAS VAPORS. THIS IS NOTICEABLE ANY TIME IT IS PARKED AFTER IT HAS BEEN DRIVEN.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE MY STEERING WHEEL BEGAN TO SHAKE AND VIBRATE RAPIDLY. I THEN HEARD A DING FOLLOWED BY THE MESSAGES, "SERVICE POWER STEERING" "SERVICE ESC" " ESC OFF". I WAS ABLE TO EXIT THE INTERSTATE AND GET TO A GAS STATION BEFORE THE WHEEL COMPLETELY LOCKED UP. I TURNED THE CAR OFF FOR ABOUT 45 MINS AND FOUND THAT WHEN I TURNED MY CAR ON IT WAS "FINE." I ENDED UP HAVING IT TOWED. I FOUND OUT THAT THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE WITH THIS CAR AND MY CAR ISN'T A PART OF LAST YEAR'S RECALL.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2009 CHEVROLET MALIBU. WHILE PARKED, THE EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR FRONT DRIVER DOORS AND THE PASSENGER AND REAR DOORS FAILED TO OPEN. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE DOOR HAD TO BE LEFT OPEN TO ENTER OR EXIT THE VEHICLE. THE FAILURE RECURRED CONSTANTLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SOLENOID IN ALL DOORS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 63,000.
2009 CHEVROLET MALIBU. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARDS TO VEHICLE DOOR LOCKS ACTUATOR PROBLEMS. *SMD THE CONSUMER STATED SHORTLY AFTER PURCHASING THE VEHICLE, THE DOOR LOCKS BEGAN LOCKING AND UNLOCKING BY THEMSELVES CONTINUOUSLY. IT STARTED AFTER A MONTH. HOWEVER, RECENTLY THE PROBLEM RETURNED. IT WOULD HAPPEN WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS ON, OFF OR WHILE DRIVING. AN INSPECTION REVEALED, ALL FOUR LOCKING ACTUATORS WERE BAD AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *JB

IN ADDITION, THE LATCHES FAILED TO FUNCTION ON THE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE. THE FRONT PASSENGER HAD TO EXIT THROUGH THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE DOOR DUE TO THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 90,000. MA 10/25/15 THE CONSUMER STATED THE INSIDE DOOR LOCK SWITCHES FAILED TO OPERATE FROM THE INSIDE.
MY DOOR LOCKS ARE LOCKING AND UNLOCKING WHILE I'M DRIVING AND ALSO WHILE THE VEHICLE IS PARKED.
WHILE DRIVING MY CAR THE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT FLASHES AND THE SERVICE ESC LIGHT FLASHES IN THE DASH OF MY CAR. MY BRAKE LIGHT REMAIN ON AT ALL TIME, WHEN I MASH THE BRAKES NO BRAKE LIGHT COMES ON. THE BRAKE LIGHT IS DOING THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE DURING. I HAD THE RECALL DONE ON THIS CAR IN OCTOBER 2014 AT JOHN DONOGHUE CHEVROLET IN WHITEVILLE, NC, 910-642-2400 BUT I AM STILL HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AFTER THE RECALL HAVE BEEN DONE ON MY CAR. TIMING CHAIN BROKE IN 2015 TOTALING THE MOTOR OF THE CAR- HAD TO HAVE MOTOR REPLACED COST THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. CAR STALLED WHEN PUTTING IT INTO PARK IN A PARKING SPOT AND WOULD START AFTER THAT- NO PREVIOUS ISSUES.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE AIR BAG NEEDED TO BE REPROGRAMMED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 25 MPH. THE VEHICLE WAS THEN TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE COIL SPRING NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 94,000.
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THE CAR STARTED TO BEEP AND POWER STEERING CAME UP ON THE DASHBOARD AND THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED. I HAD TO IMMEDIATELY STOP THE CAR, PUT IT IN PARK,AND TURN THE ENGINE OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET.
EVERY NOW AND THEN THE DASH LIGHTS WILL EITHER GO DIM OR BRIGHTEN WITHOUT TOUCHING THE CONTROL.

I AM AN OWNER OF A 2009 CHEVROLET MALIBU. FOR THE LAST YEAR OR MORE, I'VE BEEN DEALING WITH WHAT I THEN BELIEVED WAS TIRES SLOWLY LEAKING AIR. THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS IT HAS BEEN GETTING WORST, AND FINALLY THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS I'VE HAVE WOKE UP TO A COMPLETELY FLAT TIRE. TODAY I TOOK MY CAR TO THE SHOP TO HAVE THEM INSPECT THE TIRE. THE TIRE IS PERFECTLY FINE. I WAS TOLD THAT IT IS MY RIM THAT IS CAUSING THE LEAK. I WAS INFORMED THAT THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF ISSUES WITH NOT ONLY MY CAR, BUT A LOT OF OTHER CHEVROLET MALIBU VEHICLE'S RIMS. I DO NOT THINK I SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR A MANUFACTURING DEFECT WHEN MY CAR HAS BEEN WELL TAKEN CARE OF AND NO NEGLIGENCE ON MY BEHALF. IT IS OBVIOUS FROM MY WEB SEARCHES ON THIS ISSUE THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY PERSON THAT HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM. I BELIEVE THIS ISSUE SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED FOR A RECALL. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS ISSUE. WHEN PARKED OR WHEN DRIVING, DOORS RANDOMLY LOCK AND UNLOCK. HAVE SEEN SEVERAL OTHER COMPLAINTS ONLINE FROM CONSUMERS AROUND THE COUNTRY WITH THIS EXACT SAME PROBLEM. THEY ALL SAY THAT CHEVROLET DEALERSHIPS REFUSE TO REPAIR AT THEIR COST AND THAT COST IS TOO HIGH FOR MOST CONSUMERS ($300/LOCK). I ALSO BELIEVE THIS IS A SAFETY CONCERN, MY GRANDCHILDREN OFTEN RIDE WITH ME, WHAT IF THEY OPEN THE DOOR ON THE FREEWAY?! LOCKED INSIDE THE CAR WHILE IT'S ON FIRE?! TO SAY THAT THIS IS NOT A SAFETY CONCERN IS SIMPLY GROSS NEGLIGENCE! NEGLIGENCE CASE LAW HAS SHOWN THAT FAILURE TO ACT WITH PRIOR KNOWLEDGE IS COMPLICITY OF/TO MANSLAUGHTER, AND THIS TURNS AN ACCIDENTAL DEATH INTO MANSLAUGHTER. GM! WAKE UP, GET INTO GEAR HERE. DOES YOUR NEW CEO REALLY WANT TO DEAL WITH ANOTHER RECALL COVER UP??!!!!
I WAS PULLING INTO A PARKING LOT AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THE CAR STARTED TO BEEP AND POWER STEERING CAME UP ON THE DASHBOARD AND THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED. I HAD TO IMMEDIATELY STOP THE CAR, PUT IT IN PARK,AND TURN THE ENGINE OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET.
THE IGNITION SEEMS TO SHUTOFF GOING DOWN THE HIGHWAY. I WAS DOING 65 MPH DOWN THE INTERSTATE AND THE CAR ALL OF SUDDEN SHUTS OFF FOR A SECOND. THE SECURITY LIGHT APPEARS ON THE DASH. THEN IT FIRES BACK UP AND CONTINUE DOWN THE HIGHWAY. HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES ON TRIP HOME. READ ON LINE HOW TO FIX THE SECURITY LIGHT. DID THAT RAN FINE FOR ABOUT A WEEK. THEN DID IT AGAIN ON ANOTHER TRIP. BELIEVE IT IS THE SAME ISSUE THAT THE OTHER MALIBUS ARE HAVING WITH THE IGNITION. JUST HAVEN'T RECALLED FOR 2009 AS OF YET.
VEHICLE SMELLS OF GASOLINE IN THE TRUNK AREA. THE CAR HAS HAD NO DAMAGE, I THINK A FUEL SYSTEM PART HAS CRACKED.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED NO REMEDY. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 130,000.

THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THE WIRING HARNESS RELATED TO THESE PROBLEMS..RK CHEVROLET IN VINELAND,NJ REPAIRED IT SUPPOSEDLY. DAYS AFTER THE WARRANTY ON SOCALLED REPAIR THE PROBLEM PERSISTED YET AGAIN AND I RETURNED TO DEALERSHIP THEY SAID THERE WAS NO PROBLEM WITH IT...GAVE ME CODES FOR SOMETHING ELSE WHICH DID NOT RELATE TO WHAT IS WRONG...I'M GETTING NOWHERE WITH THIS AND IT IS NOT SAFE TO DRIVE THIS VEHICLE WHICH IS NEEDED FOR FAMILY TRANSPORTATION AND WORK.ESC LIGHT STAYS ON,TRACTION CONTROL STAYS ON,BRAKE LIGHTS COME ON WHILE DRIVING BUT NOT WHEN BRAKING.
THE DOOR ACTUATORS DON'T LOCK. THE CAR IS OPEN AT ALL TIMES. VERY UNSAFE FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS.

UPON TURNING ON MY VEHICLE IN MY DRIVEWAY, I GOT THE RINGING NOISE AND A MESSAGE FLASHING TELLING ME I NEED TO SERVICE THE POWER STEERING. MY WHEEL WAS IN A LOCKED POSITION AND I WAS NOT ABLE TO TAKE THE CAR OUT OF THE DRIVEWAY. I SHUT IF OFF,WAITED ABOUT AN HOUR AND STARTED THE CAR AGAIN...1 MINUTE PASSED AND IT HAPPENED AGAIN. AFTER ABOUT 3 TIMES OF THIS HAPPENING IT STOPPED FOR A FEW DAYS AND NOW HERE I AM DEALING WITH THE SAME THING ONCE AGAIN. I WAS TOLD THAT I WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CHARGES TO FIX IT SINCE MY VIN IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL. RESEARCHING ONLINE FOR THE POWER STEERING PROBLEM I HAVE COME ACROSS HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE EXPERIENCING THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM WITH NO HELP FROM THE MANUFACTURER. NOW I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE MY CAR ANYWHERE FOR FEAR OF IT LOCKING UP ON ME. THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS ISSUE THAT NEEDS TO BE LOOKED INTO BEFORE A TRAGEDY HAPPENS.
I PARKED MY CAR AND TURNED OFF THE IGNITION AND THE KEY WOULD NOT COME OUT. I HAD TO CONTINUALLY RE-START THE CAR AND PUT IT IN PARK AND JIGGLE UNTIL FOR SOME REASON IT WORKED AND THE KEY FINALLY CAME OUT.
REAR DOOR POWER LOCKING MECHANISM FAILS TO ACTUATE. FAILS TO LOCK PASSENGER DOOR WHEN DRIVING, FAILS TO UNLOCK IN THE EVENT OF NEED TO QUICKLY EXIT. LOCKS ARE DIFFICULT TO ACCESS MANUALLY.
THERE HAVE BEEN MULTIPLE REPAIRS DONE ON THIS CAR BECAUSE OF RECALLS AND POTENTIAL RECALL ITEMS. I STILL OWE $7,000 ON THIS VEHICLE! I FEEL LIKE THE MANUFACTURER OWES ME MONEY AS WELL AS THE DEALERSHIP WHO FIXED THE RECALLED ITEMS AND THE ITEMS THAT ARE NOT YET IN RECALL THAT NEED TO BE REPAIRED ARE GOING TO CAUSE A COMPLETE ACCIDENT IF THIS IS NOT HANDLED PROMPTLY. I HAVE TWO SMALL CHILDREN AND ORGANIZE VOLUNTEER WORK IN MY AREA AND DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO FIX IT. I WAS REENDED SITTING AT A STOP LIGHT. ABOUT THE SAME TIME THAT HAPPENED, MY DOOR LOCKS STARTED ACTING UP. I'VE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO LOCK THE DOORS ON THE INSIDE OF THE CAR, BEFORE GETTING OUT. I'VE ALWAYS HAD TO USE MY KEY FOB. I HAVE GOOGLED THE ISSUE, AND ACCORDING TO WHAT I HAVE FOUND, FOR ALL 4 DOORS IT WILL COST AROUND 1600 DOLLARS TO FIX. I THINK THIS SHOULD BE A RECALL, SIMPLY BECAUSE I'VE HAD TO HAVE PEOPLE CRAWL OVER SEATS JUST TO GET OUT BECAUSE THE DOORS WOULDN'T UNLOCK. IF IT SITS OUT IN THE SUN, THEY WILL EITHER LOCK AND WONT UNLOCK, OR THEY WONT LOCK AT ALL. IS THIS NOT A SAFETY ISSUE? SOMEONE BEING LOCKED IN THEIR CAR????

I WAS DRIVING ON THE THRUWAY WITH MY 2 KIDS BOTH 10 YEARS OLD AT 65 MPH. AND THE ELECTRONIC ASSISTED STEERING CUT OUT AND THE SERVICE STEERING MESSAGE WAS DISPLAYED. THANKFULLY I WAS ABLE TO PULL OFF TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD AND SHUT THE CAR OFF. WHEN I RESTARTED THE CAR THE STEERING WAS NORMAL FOR ABOUT 15 MILES THEN IT CUT OUT AGAIN. I HAD MY EX HUSBAND WHO IS A CERTIFIED TOYOTA TECHNICIAN CHECK THE CAR. HE FOUND A CODE FOR THE STEERING C0545. THIS CODE AND PROBLEM IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS CAR LINE AS GENERAL MOTORS ISSUED A SAFETY RECALL (RECALL 14116B) ALSO YOUR ORGANIZATION ISSUED A SAFETY CAMPAIGN ( NTSA CAMPAIGN # 14V153000) WHEN THIS WAS DISCOVERED WE CALLED KELLER CHEVROLET IN BUFFALO NY TO HAVE THEM DOUBLE CHECK THE ISSUE AND PAYED THEIR DIAGNOSTIC FEE, THEY CONCURRED WITH MY EX HUSBANDS DIAGNOSIS AND RAN THE VIN FOR COVERAGE UNDER THE RECALLS FOR THIS FAILURE THEY ADVISED US OUR CAR IS NOT COVERED UNDER THESE SAFETY RECALLS AND WE WOULD HAVE TO PAY OVER $1000.00 TO HAVE IT REPAIRED. NOW I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHO WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE IF GOD FORBID WE LOST CONTROL OF THE CAR WHEN THIS FAILURE OCCURRED AND SOMEONE WAS INJURED OR KILLED? HOW IS IT THAT THE SAME YEAR MAKE AND MODEL CAR CAN BE COVERED FOR THIS FAILURE AND OUR CAR THAT HAS THE SAME SYMPTOMS AND FAILURE IS NOT? IS IT ASKING TO MUCH FOR GM TO FIX A KNOWN SAFETY DEFECT? SOME TIMES WHEN GETTING ON HIGHWAY .OR FROM A STOP THE CAR BOGGES DOWN AND THEN STARTS TO RACE. I THINK THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE BECAUSE GETTING ON THE HIGHWAY YOUR CAR SHOULD NOT BOG DOWN AND THEN START TO RACE. THE POWER STEERING JERKS ON A HARD TURN EITHER DIRECTION AND MAKES A GROWLING SOUND. THE OPERATION SMOOTHS OUT IN THE STRAIGHT FORWARD POSITION.
THE CHMSL - CENTER HIGH MOUNT STOP LIGHT (3RD LED BRAKE LIGHT) WORKS FOR A SHORT PERIOD UNTIL IT OVERHEATS OR NOT AT ALL FAILING TO ILLUMINATE. IT IS NOT AN WIRING ISSUE BUT THE LED UNIT ITSELF. NOTE - THIS ISSUE IS NOT ASSOCIATED TO THE BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE) GM IS ADDRESSING. I HAVE NOTICE THIS IS AN ISSUE NOT ONLY WITH MY INDIVIDUAL CAR BUT SEVERAL OTHERS I HAVE SEEN ON THE ROAD OF SAME MAKE/MODULE-GENERATION AND CORRESPONDING MODEL/YEAR PLUS ALSO MENTIONED IN FORUMS. I FEEL THIS IS AN VERY IMPORTANT SAFETY FEATURE THAT SHOULD NOT FAIL GIVEN IT IS AN LED LIGHTING SYSTEM TO ASSIST IN PREVENTING REAR END COLLISIONS. ONCE THE WARRANTY PERIOD EXPIRES, GM WILL NOT COVER AND IS UP TO THE INDIVIDUAL TO COVER COSTS TO REPLACE/REPAIR AND IS REQUIRED TO WORK FOR SOME STATES SAFETY INSPECTIONS. LED LIGHTING UNITS LIKE THIS SHOULD NOT FAIL, SHOULD BE ADDRESSED BY THE CAR MANUFACTURER FOR REPAIR/REPLACE COSTS AND NOT PASSED ON TO THE CONSUMER. PICTURES CAN BE PROVIDED IF REQUESTED.
BOUGHT MY 2009 CHEVY MALIBU LTZ IN APRIL 2015 IN MAY 2015 MY SERVICE ESC SERVICE TRACTION CONTROL LIGHTS STARTED TO COME ON AND MY TAILLIGHTS ARE LIGHTING UP AS IF ON THE BREAKS WHEN I AM NOT.( THEY COME ON WHILE I AM STOPED AT A RED LIGHT HAVE NEVER COME ON WHILE MOVING) RETURNED TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE I GOT MY CAR AND THE LIGHTS WERE OFF SO THEY SAID THEY COULD NOT DO ANYTHING UNTIL THE LIGHTS WERE ON(THE LIGHTS RESET WHEN I SHUT MY CAR OFF). THEY CAME ON LAST NIGHT WENT TO CHEVY DEALERSHIP LAST NIGHT 7/20/2015 AND THEY TOLD ME TO REPLACE THE BREAK PEDAL SWITCH AND WE DID THAT BUT MY BREAK LIGHTS ARE STILL COMING ON WHEN THEY WANT,IT LOOKS LIKE THERE WAS A RECALL FOR THIS BEFORE I GOT MY CAR AND I DON'T KNOW IF IT WAS FIXED OR NOT AND IF IT COULD BE FIXED AGAIN UNDER THE RECALL...... VERY UNHAPPY ABOUT THIS.

THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 123, 000.
DOOR ACTUATORS DO NOT WORK BY REMOTE OR WHEN VEHICLE IS PLACED IN PARK. THIS POSSESS A SERIOUS SAFETY RISK IF IN AN ACCIDENT OR IF THE VEHICLE CATCHES FIRE. DEALER SAID THAT THEY HAVE HAD MANY COMPLAINTS AND HAVE ALSO REPLACED ACTUATORS ON MANY DIFFERENT TYPES OF GM VEHICLES. I HAVE ALREADY HAD ONE REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY AND THE OTHER THREE WENT OUT SHORTLY AFTER WARRANTY EXPIRED. THIS POTENTIAL SAFETY ISSUED NEEDS TO BE CONSIDERED AGGRESSIVELY AND IN A TIMELY MANNER BEFORE FATALITIES HAPPEN BECAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM.
DOOR LOCKS AND WINDOWS STOPPED WORKING IN SUSPECT DUE TO SOME ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS. AND WHEN I'M ON THE GAS IT WON'T PICK UP ANY SPEED AND I THINK THAT'S DUE TO THE CAM SHAFT. AND I KNOW IM NOT THE ONLY ONE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEMS WITH THE SAME CAR. IT'S REALLY BECOMING A PROBLEM
