AIRBAG WARNING LIGHT FLASHING
IT IS UNACCEPTABLE THAT MY 2007 TAHOE STILL HAS THE ORIGINAL DEFECTIVE TAKATA AIRBAGS. THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO TO PROTECT MY FAMILY IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT BESIDES PURCHASE ANOTHER VEHICLE AND SELL THIS ONE. THEY SHOULD HAVE THE REMEDY AVAILABLE BY NOW! IT'S ALMOST 2021!
I NEED THE RECALL WORK DONE AND IT SAYS REMEDY NOT YET AVAILABLE. I JUST BOUGHT THIS CAR YESTERDAY. I FEEL IN DANGER.
WOW. I AM SEEING ALL MY SAME ISSUES SO THOUGHT I BETTER ENTER MY INFO AS WELL. FIRST THE HORN WAS ALL OF A SUDDEN BLARING WITHOUT ANYONE BEING IN IT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT 2.5 YEARS AGO AND NOW I DO NOT HAVE A HORN, AND NONE OF THE CONTROLS WORK ON THE STEERING WHEEL INCLUDING THE RADIO AND CRUISE CONTROL (I QUESTION IF THE AIR BAG IS ACTIVE ON THE DRIVER SIDE BECAUSE OF THIS). THEN, THE REAR LIFT GATE ALL OF A SUDDEN WILL NOT OPEN (MAYBE LAST WINTER). 6 MONTHS AGO, THE INDICATORS ON THE DASH ARE OUT SO I CAN'T SEE MY ODOMETER OR ANYTHING ELSE YOU CAN ACCESS ON THE DASH. RECENTLY THE PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW JUST RANDOMLY FELL OFF THE TRACK. RECENTLY, EVERYTHING ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR DOES NOT WORK ELECTRICALLY: POWER DOOR LOCK, AND POWER WINDOW. AND I FIND THAT GM WILL NOT ADDRESS AT A MINIMUM THE ELECTRICAL ISSUES? NOT GOOD.

DASHBOARD CRACK JUST ABOVE PASSENGER AIRBAG THAT CAN CAUSE AIR BAG DEPLOYMENT TO BREAK OFF THE DASH AND EITHER INJURE PASSENGER OR DEFLATE AIR BAG UPON DEPLOYMENT
THE NUMBER 1 CYLINDER KEEPS FOULING OUT SPARK PLUGS. I HAVE CHANGED PLUGS, WIRES, AND THE COIL PACK. THIS FIXES THE PROBLEM FOR ABOUT 5 MILES. IT RUNS POORLY, LOW IDLE, THE STABILITY TRAC COMES ON AND SAYS IT IS MALFUNCTIONING AND NEEDS TO BE SERVICED

I HAD CRACKS APPEAR ON MY VEHICLES DASHBOARD ABOVE MY INSTRUMENT CLUSTER AND OVER BY THE AIR BAG COVER. THIS COULD CAUSE A SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH PLASTIC SHRAPNEL FLYING INTO THE VEHICLE WHEN IT DEPLOYS. GM SHOULD FIX THIS AS IT IS A SAFETY HAZARD. THIS EITHER CHEAP PLASTIC OR A DESIGN FLAW THAT COULD CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY OR EVEN DEATH. I URGE YOU TO ISSUE A RECALL IN THIS MATTER AS THIS COULD EFFECT PEOPLES LIVES. ON JUNE 4, 2020 I HAD NY FRONT WINDOW BROKEN I TOOK IT TO CHANGE THE FRONT GLASS AND THE CUT OF THE VIPER ALARM I HAD ON THE CAR SO THE ALARM WAS JUST TURNING ON AND ON I TRY TO TURN IT ON TO SEE IF IT WOULD STOP AND IT DIDN'T SO I DECIDED TO TAKE OFF THE POSITIVE CABLE FROM THE BATTERY TO SEE IF TAKING IT OFF IT WOULD STOP AND IT DIDN'T SO I PUT BACK ON AND TRY TO START THE CAR AND IT DIDN'T NOTHING DEAD JUST THE LIGHTS OF THE CHECK ENGINE STABILITRAK AND TRACTION AND UNTIL THIS DATE CAN FIND WHAT TO DO WITH IT I CHANGE THE FUSE BOX AND STILL DON'T TURN ON. *TR

EMISSIONS RECALL THE PROPELLANT IN SOME TYPES OF TAKATA AIRBAG INFLATORS CAN DEGRADE OVER TIME, ESPECIALLY AFTER LONG TERM EXPOSURE IN HOT AND HUMID REGIONS. IF THE PROPELLANT DEGRADES TO A CERTAIN LEVEL, THE INFLATORS MAY RUPTURE DURING DEPLOYMENT, CAUSING SERIOUS OR FATAL INJURIES.
DASHBOARD CRACKING
STABILTRAKAR AND ONLY HALF THE MOTOR IS RUNNING
MY 07 TAHOE HAS BEEN HAVING STABILITRAK AND TRACTION CONTROL ON FOR MONTHS I'VE THROWN SEVERAL DIFFERENT PARTS AT MY TAHOE IT'LL WORK GREAT FOR A DAY OR TWO THEN THE CODES POP RIGHT BACK ON MY DASHBOARD CAUSING THE STEERING WHEEL TO LOCK UP AND THE TRUCK TO LOSE ENGINE POWER AND JERK AROUND WHILE DRIVING. THIS IS A SERIOUS ISSUE I'VE HAD TO BE TOWED HOME , CHANGE SEVERAL PARTS AND CAN GET NO ANSWERS AS TO WHY IT KEEPS COMING UP. NHTSA HAS FAILED TO TIMELY RESOLVE A PETITION FOR INCONSEQUENTIALITY FOR A KNOWN DEFECT. TODAY'S DATE IS JANUARY 14, 2020. PLEASE DO YOUR JOB AND ENSURE GM IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE RECALL BELOW. NHTSA RECALL NUMBER: 16V381 RECALL DATE: MAY 27, 2016 MANUFACTURER RECALL NUMBER: 2049151 GM HAS SUBMITTED TO NHTSA A PETITION FOR INCONSEQUENTIALITY AND NHTSA HAS GRANTED GM UNTIL AUGUST 2017 TO COMPLETE ITS INVESTIGATION AND TO SUBMIT ALL DATA SUPPORTING THE PETITION
NO FIX FOR TAKATA AIRBAG?! MY VEHICLE IS WORTH HALF THE VALUE AS A TRADE IN BECAUSE OF THESE NO FIX RECALLS. VERY UNHAPPY!
THERE IS A RECALL ON MY CAR THAT IS INCOMPLETE AND REMEDY NOT YET AVAILABLE. SERVICE AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON
MY DASH HAS BEGUN TO CRACK SUBSTANTIALLY. I HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING TO CAUSE THIS. ESSENTIALLY, OVER TIME, IT HAS GONE FROM A SMALL HAIRLINE CRACK TO CRACKS AND DAMAGE EVERYWHERE. AGAIN, I HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING TO CAUSE THIS AT ALL. THIS ISSUE IS REPORTED AMONG MANY GM VEHICLE OWNERS, AND SHOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF BY GM. I REFUSE TO PAY UPWARDS OF $1000 FOR SOMETHING I DIDN'T CAUSE.

MY COMPLAINT IS THE THE NHTSA IS NOT DOING ENOUGH TO FORCE A REMIDY ON THE MY VEHICLE'S TAKATA AIRBAG PROBLEM. THRU MANY YEARS OF INVESTIGATION AND LITIGATION WITH GM, IT NOW MORE THAN EVIDENT THAT GM KNOWS THEIR AIRBAGS WILL FAIL. IT ISN'T ABOUT IF BUT WHEN AND IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE THE NHTSA TO PROTECT THE PUBLIC AND CONSUMER. IF YOU WANT THE PUBLIC TO THINK YOU ARE SERVING IN THEIR BEST INTEREST, THAN RESOLVE THIS WHOLE TAKATA AIRBAG PROBLEM.
AIRBAG RECALL WAS ISSUED IN 2016. THE DEALERS SAY THEY DON'T HAVE THE PARTS YET. WHAT SHOULD I DO TO GET THIS RESOLVED?
MY VEHICLE HAS HAD AN AIRBAG RECALL FOR 2 YEARS. CHEVROLET REFUSES TO ACKNOWLEDGE THEIR IS AN ISSUE. THEY KEEP SAYING THE AIRBAG IS SAFE. YET MY VEHICLE REMAINS ON A LIST FOR RECALL. AT WHAT POINT ARE THEY GOING TO BE REQUIRED TO HONOR THE RECALL? OTHER CAR MAKERS HAVE ACKNOWLEDGED AN ISSUE AND FIXED THE RECALL. WHEN YOU ASK THE CHEVROLET SPOKESPERSON IF THEY WOULD PUT A LOVED ONE IN THE SEAT WITH THE AIRBAG RECALL THEY SIMPLY STATE THE VEHICLE IS SAFE TO DRIVE. THEY REFUSE TO ANSWER THE QUESTION. HOW CAN A NATIONAL RECALL BE ISSUED BUT A COMPANY SUCH AS GM NOT BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE TO FIX THE ISSUE AND LET THIS LINGER FOR YEARS.
I AM NEEDING TO HAVE MY AIRBAG CORRECTED.... IT IS PART OF THE TAKATA RECALL. IT HAS BEEN OPEN FOR A WHILE AND THE WEBSITE INDICATES THERE IS NOT A CORRECTION. I HAVE CHILDREN AND THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED NOW!!!!!

I HAVE CALLED DEALERSHIPS NO LESS THAN 5 TIMES IN THE PAST 2 YEARS AS INDICATED TO DO SO ON THE FORM TO GET REPLACED. WHEN I CALL DEALERSHIPS, THEY TELL ME THE PARTS HAVE NOT BEEN SENT BY MANUFACTURER YET FOR REPLACEMENT. I CALLED AGAIN TODAY, AUGUST 7, 2019-- 2 YEARS LATER-- AND THE PARTS ARE STILL NOT IN. "TAKATA RECALL" MY 2007 CHEVROLET TAHOE HAS AIR BAGS THAT ARE DEFECTIVE AND COULD THOUGH SCRAP METAL INTO THE DRIVER AND CAUSE DEATH. BUT CHEVROLET WILL NOT REPLACE MY AIR BAGS. CHEVROLET DOES NOT HAVE A REMEDY FOR THE DEFECTIVE AIR BAGS, THE NHTSA GAVE GM UNTIL AUGUST OF 2017 TO PROVIDE A REMEDY, BUT IT IS NOW SEPTEMBER OF 2019 AND I STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL AIR BAGS. WHEN CAN I HAVE A VEHICLE THAT IS SAFE TO DRIVE?
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2007 CHEVROLET TAHOE. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, A 2012 NISSAN FRONTIER SIDESWIPED THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE. THE CONTACT VEERED OFF THE ROAD AND CRASHED INTO A LIGHT POLE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED HEAD, BACK, NECK, HAND, AND KNEE INJURIES. MEDICAL ATTENTION WAS RECEIVED. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT LOT. THE CONTACT CALLED PATTERSON HYUNDAI TYLER (3120 S SW LP, TYLER, TX 75701, (903) 561-2404) AND INFORMED THEM OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS DEEMED A TOTAL LOSS BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 128,122.
"TAKATA RECALL" NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM !
BAD ENGINE CUTS OFF WHILE DRIVING. BURN EXCESSIVE OIL AND WATER. MOTOR MAKES LOUD NOISES. BRAKES HAVE TO BE CHANGED EVERY 2 MONTHS. GRINDING NOISES WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR FEET OF THE GAS , SOUNDS LIKE A 18 WHEELER BREAKING DOWN TO STOP. NOW THE ENGINE WON'T TURN OVER. REPLACED SENSORS AND TIMING BUT STILL NOT CRANKING. SO NOW IT NEEDS A MOTOR. DASHBOARD IS CRACKED UP SO BAD YOU CAN SEE INSIDE TO AIRBAG. WHICH SOMETIMES GETS EXTREMELY HOT.

IT IS NOW AUGUST 2019, AND I'M STILL DRIVING MY TAHOE WITH THE FAULTY AIR BAGS, AND I HAVE HAD NO LUCK WITH GETTING THE PROBLEM RESOLVED. THIS TIMELINE IS RIDICULOUS. TAKATA RECALL: THE GM WEBSITE STILL SAYS "INCOMPLETE. REMEDY NOT YET AVAILABLE"; HOWEVER, I RECEIVED MY NOTICE IN JULY OF 2016 VIA A NOTICE FROM GM. THE LETTER REFERENCES CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 16V381.
TAKATA RECALL I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE FROM A PRIVATE SELLER AND WAS NOT TOLD ABOUT THE RECALL. I FOUND OUT THIS PAST WEEKEND WHEN I WAS AT A DEALERSHIP TO POSSIBLY TRADE IN THE VEHICLE. THE RECALL ON MY CHEVROLET TAHOE 2007 IS INCOMPLETE AND THE REMEDY IS NOT YET AVAILABLE. MY COMPLAINT IS SPECIFICALLY BECAUSE THERE IS NO REMEDY AT THIS TIME MEANWHILE I AM DRIVING AROUND IN A UNSAFE VEHICLE.
