I was driving on the highway going 65mph which is the legal speed limit. I got cut off by a driver and light tapped my brakes to slow the vehicle down. When I did so the vehicle then swerved to the left and started drifting sideways directly to a wall. I went head on with the wall. Then I bounced back across all lanes of traffic again still sideways and drifting hitting another wall. Which is where the vehicle ended at the stopping point of the accident. No airbags deployed in the accident. The driver behind me who witness the crash stated that the vehicle started to loose traction before I hit my brakes and me hitting my brakes caused the vehicle to them loose full control. I was in the process of buying this vehicle from Gresham Ford in Oregon. I was told the vehicle was 100% road safe and passed safety inspections. Which is false.
The car rmp goes high when accelerating it's a common problem with the cooling fan which the company is aware of it but aren't held reliable! It's a shame that nhtsa hade many complaining about the issue but aren't holding the manufacturer responsible this could of hade me and my family in an accident!
Airbag on drivers side deployed from the drivers seat without being hit. Opened my car door and the bag was deployed. Car was parked in my driveway.

The contact owned a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated that while driving 40 mph and not noticed that the vehicles ahead were stopped at a traffic light, causing him to crash into the vehicles in front. The air bags failed to deploy. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed and totaled. The contact received chest and head injuries. Medical attention was needed. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was unknown. The VIN was not available.
CAUGHT IN FIRE DONT KNOW WHY BUT THE WIRE GOT FIRE
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2002 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS WITH AIR CONDITIONER ACTIVATED, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITH THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT HAD REPLACED THE CRANKSHAFT SOLENOID WHICH HE BELIEVED REPAIRED THE ISSUE. SOON AFTER THE INITIAL REPAIR, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DRIVER'S SIDE TAIL LIGHT AND INSTRUMENT PANEL FAILED TO OPERATE AS NEEDED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE REPLACED THE TAIL LIGHT FUSES AND INSTRUMENT PANEL CIRCUIT BOARD HOWEVER, THE REPAIRS FAILED TO FIX THE FAILURE. UPON INVESTIGATION, THE CONTACT LINKED THE FAILURES TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 03V096000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) AND 04V527000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING). THE CONTACT CALLED CORWIN MOTORS KALISPELL (2565 US-93, KALISPELL, MT 59901, (406) 755-5555) AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT UNDER RECALL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 247,000.
MY KEY GETS STUCK IN MY IGNITION REPEATEDLY FOR THE LAST TWO WEEKS. AND NOW I HAVE TO LEAVE MY KEY IN THE IGNITION AND THE BATTERY WILL DIE.

THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER NOR INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 118,000.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED BUT NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 120,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2002 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. WHILE DRIVING AND TURNING, THE VEHICLE HYDROPLANED AND STRUCK A CONCRETE WALL HEAD ON. THE VEHICLE THEN VEERED TO THE LEFT AND STRUCK THE CENTER DIVIDER TWICE. THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE VEHICLE WAS TOTALED AND TOWED. MOST OF THE DAMAGE WAS TO THE FRONT END OF THE VEHICLE AND THE DRIVER'S DOOR COULD NOT BE CLOSED. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED BRUISES WHERE THE SEAT WAS LOCATED. THE DRIVER WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM FOR MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE DRIVER'S FACE WAS BRUISED AND A CAT SCAN WAS PERFORMED TO DETERMINE IF THERE WERE ANY BROKEN BONES, BUT THE TESTS WERE NEGATIVE. THE DRIVER ALSO TWISTED HER ANKLE AND THERE WAS A LITTLE BIT OF SWELLING ON HER KNEE. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE MANUFACTURER WANTED TO VISIT THE CONTACT'S HOME TO EXAMINE THE VEHICLE AND FIND OUT WHY THE AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT DETERMINED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
I HAVE A 2002 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER WITH GOODYEAR WRANGLER SR-A TIRES. THESE TIRES ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST TIRES I HAVE EVER OWNED IN MY 34 YEARS OF DRIVING! IN DRY CONDITIONS THEY ARE TOLERABLE BUT ONE CAN TELL THAT THEY'RE NOT STICKING WELL TO THE ROAD. WHEN IT RAINED SLIGHTLY IT BECOMES NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO DRIVE WITH THESE TIRES. THE BEST WAY TO DESCRIBE IT IS AS IF YOU ARE TRYING TO DRIVE ON A SLICK ROADWAY ALMOST LIKE DRIVING ON OIL OR SIMILIAR TO DRIVING A RACE CAR ON SLICK TIRES TO DRIFT WITH.

THE CONTACT PULLED OVER AND NOTICED THAT THE REAR PASSENGER SIDE TIRE TREAD SEPARATED FROM THE SIDEWALL. THE CONTACT DROVE THE VEHICLE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE TIRE WAS ABNORMAL AND APPEARED TO HAVE BEEN A DEFECT. THE TIRE WAS REPLACED. THE CONTACT CALLED THE PLACE WHERE THE TIRES WERE PURCHASED AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE TIRES WERE NOT UNDER WARRANTY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. BAD FUEL LEAK COMING FROM DRIVERS SIDE OF VEHICLE, UNDER VEHICLE. MIDDLE OF VEHICLE. VERY DANGEROUS. PARKED ON STREET. BAD FUEL LEAKING.
ELECTRICAL UNDER DASH SHORTING OUT. CAUSING ACCESSORY PLUG TO SHOOT SPARKS AS WELL AS CAUSING DASH LIGHTS TO GO OUT, AND FRONT PANEL TO STOP WORKING. AC ELECTRICAL QUIT WORKING AFTER. 4WHEEL DRIVE SHIFTS RANDOMLY IN AND OUT OF 2 AND 4 WHEEL DRIVE, CAUSING THE TRANSMISSION TO GET STUCK IN NEUTRAL. MOTOR SOLENOIDS AND SENSORS KEEP FAILING AND SHORTING OUT DUE TO ELECTRICAL ISSUES. VEHICLE UNSAFE TO DRIVE.

WE HYDROPLANED GOING ABOUT 40MPH IN RAINING CONDITIONS NEAR RICHLANDS, NC ON HWY 258. OVERCORRECTED, FISHTAILED AGAIN INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC, WAS HIT IN THE DRIVERSIDE REAR BY A ANOTHER CAR, HIT THE CURB AND ROLLED THREE TIMES.
TAKATA RECALL MY CAR SMELLS LIKE GAS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE WITH NO VISIBLE GAS LEAKAGE. THIS SMELL IS NOTICEABLE BOTH STATIONARY AND MOVING. THERE ARE NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS OF THIS NATURE ON CONSUMER CHAT SITES
RECENTLY BOUGHT A CAR THAT I BELIEVE THEY ARE ILLEGALLY PASSING THE INSPECTIONS ON. THEY PROCLAIMED THAT FIXED A MAJOR PART TO KEEP THE TIRES ON MY CAR TIE RODS AND CV AXEL. JUST SHORT TIME AFTER IT LOOKED LIKE THE PART WAS NEVER REPLACED JUST TIGHTENED UP AND SHORTLY AFTER WE HAD ALL KINDS OF ISSUES WITH THE BRAKES AND ANYTHING THAT KEEPS THE CAR DRIVEING SAFELY THE BRAKES WENT OUT ON ME SO I CALLED TO SEE WHAT THEY DID AND WHY THEY NEVER FIXED IT THE BERRY NEXT DAY THEY REPO THE CAR AS IF THEY ARE TRYING TO HIDE AND COVER UP THE SCAMS THEY HAVE ON PEOPLE MY KIDS ARE IN THAT CAR DAILY IT SHOULD BE NEVER PASSED THE INSPECTION WE HAVE HAD TO PAY FOR MOST OF THAT. I BELIEVE ALL THE CARS IN THERE LOT NEED TO BE INSPECTED BY A FEDERAL AGENT OR SOMETHING I'VE FOUND ALOT OF THE SAME COMPLAINTS ONLINE ABOUT SAME ISSUES AND I EVEN KNOW OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE BOUGHT FROM THEM ALL WITH THE SAME ISSUES THEY ARE FRAUD AND YOU NEED TO STOP THEM BEFORE SOMEONE GETS KILLED AND DIES FROM ONE OF THERE FAULTY VEHICLES MY ISSUE HAPPENED AND HAPPENS WHILE DRIVEING THEY ALSO TOOK BOTH OF THE BRAKE CALIBER PINS THAT HOLD IT IN PLACE TO THE POINT TO WHERE IT CAME OFF COMPLETELY I ALMOST DIED GUYS THEY ARE BAD PEOPLE TO BUY FROM

B LAZER HESITATES WHEN DRIVING AND NOTICE A GAS SMELL WHEN I TURN ON BLAZER AT THE BEGINNING AND I NOTICED A LEAK INSIDE BUT WAS NOT SURE WHERE ITS COMING FROM. I CONTACTED CHEVORLET DEALER ON POSSIBLE RECALL THEY STATED ITS NOT ON THERE SYSTEM AND I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR DIAGNOSE AND BECAUSE OF THE MILEAGE MAYBE THEY MAY NOT BE ABLE TO FIX THIS. WHY WOULD I HAVE TO PAY FOR DIAGNOSE IF ITS SOMETHING ON THEIR END AND ITS ONLINE AS A RECALL ON BLAZERS. I THINK THIS CAN BE A HAZARD TO BE SMELLING GAS THAT FLOWS IN TO AIR SYSTEM OF THE BLAZER WHILE DRIVING.

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THAT THEY NEEDED THE CONTACT TO SEND THEM PICTURES AS EVIDENCE OF THE FAILURE. NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS OFFERED BY THE MANUFACTURER. ON DECEMBER 7, 2017, I GOT INTO MY VEHICLE AND SHORTLY AFTER STARTING THE IGNITION, BUT WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STILL IDLE AND IN PARK, THE DRIVER'S SIDE AIRBAG SPONTANEOUSLY DEPLOYED WHILE I WAS PUTTING ON MY SEAT BELT. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A LOCAL CHEVY DEALERSHIP WHERE IT REMAINS. GM CENTRAL CLAIMS UNIT WILL NOT RETURN MY VEHICLE TO ME. INSTEAD, THEY OFFERED TO PURCHASE IT FROM ME FOR $3,300. GM CENTRAL CLAIMS UNIT WILL NOT GIVE ME ANY INFORMATION REGARDING THE REASON FOR THE AIR BAG MALFUNCTION. THEY TOLD ME IT WAS CONFIDENTIAL.
I HAVE AN INTERMITTENT INSTRUMENT GAGE FAILURE, THIS CAUSES THE GAGE CLUSTER TO GO OUT AND UNABLE TO READ VITAL ENGINE OPERATING SPECIFICATIONS. THIS INCLUDES ALL GAUGES EXCEPT FOR SPEEDOMETER FOR NOW. THIS TYPICAL CLEARS UP WITHIN 5 MINS AND SOONER IF YOU PULL CAR OVER AND RESTART VEHICLE. THIS CAN HAPPEN AT ANYTIME AND INCLUDES THE LIGHTING UP OF THE FOLLOWING LIGHTS ABS,BRAKE,SECURITY,SEATBELT,SRS AND ALL THE OTHER DASHBOARD LIGHTS. THIS HAPPENS AT DIFFERENT DATES AND TIMES.

I PULLED INTO MY GARAGE AND SHUT MY TRUCK OFF BUT MY DOORS WOULDN'T UNLOCK. THEN IT STARTED MAKING FUNNY TICKING SOUNDS AND ALL MY LIGHTS INSIDE STARTED FLICKING AND MY WINDOWS ALL ROLLED UP AND WOULDN'T GO BACK DOWN SO I COULD GET OUT. AFTER ABOUT 20 MINUTES OR SO I TURNED IT BACK ON AND WAS FINALLY ABLE TO GET MY DOOR UNLOCKED TO GET OUT. NOW WHEN I TOUCH ANYTHING MY OTHER WINDOWS GO UP AND MY SEAT STARTS TO MOVE ON ITS OWN. MY DRIVER'S WINDOW IS STUCK UP AND WON'T COME BACK DOWN. I HAVE 5 KIDS AND CAN NOT CHANCE SOMETHING HAPPENING AND US NOT BEING ABLE TO GET OUT SAFELY.

STRONG GAS SMELL GAS TANKS LEAKING.
SMELLING GAS EVEN THOUGH NO GAS WAS SPILLED. THE CAR IS STATIONARY IN GARAGE. I FEEL IT IS UNSAFE TO KEEP IN THE GARAGE AND I AM PARKING IT OUTSIDE. I AM ALSO WORRIED ABOUT DRIVING.
MY ENTIRE INSTRUMENT PANEL IS INOPERATIVE. I AM UNABLE TO TELL MY SPEED, FUEL LEVEL, OIL LEVEL AND PRESSURE, TEMPERATURE, WHETHER OR NOT MY HIGH BEAMS ARE ON OR OFF, OR WHETHER THE CRUISE CONTROL IS ENGAGED. I USE MY GPS AS A SPEEDOMETER AND HAVE RUN OUT OF GAS ON HIGH-SPEED LIMITED ACCESS HIGHWAYS 4 TIMES. THE DEALER WANTS NEARLY $500 TO FIX THIS ALTHOUGH IT'S A COMMON PROBLEM (SEE GOOGLE). RUNNING OUT OF GAS ON THE INTERSTATE IS A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH. I'VE ASKED TO SPEAK WITH A ZONE REP AND GOTTEN NOWHERE. THE TWO PHOTOS WERE TAKEN ON 3/9/2017. ONE WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING AND ONE WITH THE ENGINE OFF. THERE'S NO DIFFERENCE!!!

THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT UPON FURTHER INSPECTION, IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE FUEL PUMP WAS CORRODED AND FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BUT THE DETAILS WERE UNKNOWN. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 184,000.
STRONG FUEL SMELL COMING FROM BACK OF VEHICLE EVEN WHEN PARKED.
MY WIFE WAS IN A HEAD ON COLLISION WHERE SHE HIT A TREE GOING APPROXIMATELY 45 MILES AN HOUR. SHE WAS ON A COUNTY ROAD AND LOST CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE, HITTING THE TREE ON PRIVATE PROPERTY. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, WHEN THEY SHOULD HAVE. SHE HIT HER HEAD ON THE STEERING WHEEL AT IMPACT. I HAVE UPLOADED PICTURES OF THE DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE AND A PICTURE SHOWING THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY.

BOTH RIGHT AND LEFT LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS STOPPED WORKING AS OF 10/27/2016. THE AMBER TURN SIGNAL INDICATORS SEEM TO WORK SPORADICALLY. AS OF NOW, THE VEHICLE CAN ONLY BE DRIVEN SAFELY DURING THE DAY. EARLY MORNING DARKNESS AND THE EARLIER ONSET OF SUNSET MAKE DRIVING HAZARDOUS. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT IN MOTION AT THE TIME THIS WAS DISCOVERED, BUT BEFORE LEAVING TO MAKE A SCHOOL DROP-OFF. I WAS INVOLVED IN A MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT WHILE DRIVING MY 2002 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER DOWN A COUNTRY ROAD. I TRIED TO AVOID HITTING AN ANIMAL IN THE ROAD AND WENT ONTO THE RIGHT SHOULDER WHEN MY RIGHT REAR TIRE HIT A POTHOLE/ASPHALT AND THE TIRE BLEW. THE VEHICLE STARTED TO TIP TO THE LEFT AND THEN ROLLED APPROXIMATELY 13 TIMES WITHOUT ONE AIR BAG DEPLOYING. I SUSTAINED MULTIPLE INJURES AND SURGERY IS NOW REQUIRED.

DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MILES PER HOUR, WOMAN PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF ME TO TURN ONTO THE FREEWAY. A VEHICLE NEXT TO ME HONKED THEIR HORN AND MISSED HITTING HER BUT I HIT HER ON THE PASSENGER REAR PANEL OF HER CAR, DAMAGING HER VEHICLE AND BENDING THE REAR TIRE AT AN ANGLE. THE AIRBAG DID NOT DEPLOY AND WAS ON. I WAS TRAVELING ON A CITY STREET, GOING WESTBOUND, THE OTHER DRIVER WAS TURNING TO GO NORTHBOUND.
WHILE HIGHWAY DRIVING WITH CRUISE CONTROL ENGAGED I HEARD A LOUD WHINING SOUND AND EXPERIENCED A SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER. I WAS ALMOST HIT FROM BEHIND SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE I COULD GET THE VEHICLE OVER INTO THE RIGHT LANE. WHEN I TOOK THE VEHICLE TO MY MECHANIC I WAS TOLD THE COOLING FAN CLUTCH ASSEMBLE HAD FAILED. I HAVE HAD THIS FAN REPLACED THREE TIMES NOW AND AM NOT AT ALL PLEASED THAT THIS VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN RECALLED FOR THIS PROBLEM. I HAVE READ THAT THIS IS A "COMMON" PROBLEM ON THIS VEHICLE THAT CAN CAUSE A SEVERE ACCIDENT. I HAVE RECEIPTS FOR THE REPAIRS BUT HAVE NO WAY TO UPLOAD THEM.

FAULTY GAUGES. GAUGES SOMETIMES WORK, SOMETIMES DON'T. WHEN NOT WORKING, SERVICE ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON FIRST AND THEN NOTHING WORKS ON DASH PANEL EXCEPT SIGNAL LIGHTS. WHEN IT DOES WORK, NORMAL STARTUP OF LIGHTS. BEING THE ODOMETER IS DIGITAL, NO WAY OF KNOWING HOW MANY MILES I HAVE GONE WHICH GOES HAND IN HAND WITH GAS GAUGE NOT WORKING SO NOT A CLUE HOW MUCH I HAVE.
1. MY DRIVERS SIDE WINDOW AND DOOR LOCK IS SHORTED OUT AND WONT OPERATE AT ALL. WHILE DRIVING CAUSING THE WINDOW TO REMAIN DOWN DURING A RAIN STORM AND IMPEDING MY VISIBILITY. I SEE THEY HAVE RECALLS ON OTHER YEARS FOR THIS EXACT SAME PROBLEM. 2. MY SEAT BELT CATHES REALLY TIGHT AND WONT RELEASE CASUSING ME PAIN. 3. MY HEADLIGHTS REGULAR BEAMS KEEP COMING LOOSE AND BLOWING OUT.IVE HAD TO FIX THIS THREE TIMES AND I HAVE ONLY OWNED THE VEHICLE FOR A WEEK. TWICE DURING DRIVING AT NIGHT ONCE I AM NOT SURE WHEN IT BLEW. 4. THE FRONT SUSPENSION IS HAVING PROBLEMS AND I BELIEVE MAY BE A RECALL ISSUE. IT MAKES LOUD NOISE LIKE ITS CRACKING OR BREAKING, WHILE DRIVING.
