BETWEEN THE SPEEDS OF 35 MPH AND 60MPH THE HEADLIGHTS FLICKER WHEN YOU LET THE CAR RETURN TO AN IDLE. *TR
DEFECTIVE FUEL LEVEL SENDER IN 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER. *TR
THE SPEEDOMETER HAS STOPPED WORKING. THE GAS GAUGE DOES NOT WORK. ALSO THE FUSES FOR THE POWER PLUG INS CONTINUE TO BLOW. THESE ARE SAFETY HAZARDS FOR MY WIFE AND KIDS WHILE TRAVELING ALONE.
I HAD JUST BOUGHT MY 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER LT. I BOUGHT IT FROM A DEALER USED AND THEY DIDN'T TELL ME THE GAS GAUGE DIDN'T WORK RIGHT. I HAVE RAN OUT OF GAS QUITE A FEW TIMES.I TRY TO REMEMBER TO SET MY TRIPOMETER BUT SOMETIMES I FORGET. NEEDLESS TO SAY ITS A HUGE PROBLEM. I HAVE DRIVEN CHEVYS ALL MY LIFE AND SO HAS MY FAMILY, I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED GM HAS NOT TAKEN CARE OF THIS PROBLEM AND HAD A RECALL. FOR WHAT I PAID AND SINCE I'VE ALWAYS OWNED A CHEVY THEY NEED TO GET OFF THEIR CORPORATE BUTTS AND FIX IT!! THIS IS A DANGER TO THE PEOPLE WHO DRIVE THEM AS WELL AS PASSENGERS AND OTHER VEHICLES ON THE ROAD. I WAS HOPING GM WOULD VOLUNTARILY RECALL THESE VEHICLES, BUT THEY WON'T SO ITS UP TO THE NHTSA TO MAKE GM RESPONSIBLE. THANK YOU *TR
THE CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER HAS A HISTORY OF THE GAUGE CLUSTER IN THE DASH BEING DEFECTIVE. IT SEEMS THAT MANY CONSUMERS ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THEM GOING OUT. WHEN THIS HAPPENS THE FUEL GAUGE AND SPEEDOMETER DO NOT WORK. THIS IS A HUGE PROBLEM AND IT SEEMS THAT CHEVROLET DOES NOT FEEL THE NEED TO HELP THE CONSUMERS CORRECT THIS PROBLEM. WE HAVE CHECKED INTO THE TIME AN COST OF THE REPAIRS AND IT IS VERY TIME CONSUMING AND EXPENSIVE FOR THE CONSUMER. *TR
I HAVE A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER WITH 80,000 MILES. AND THE FUEL GAUGE DOES NOT OPERATE. IT WENT OUT AROUND 50,000 MILES. *TR
I BOUGHT A 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER. IT JUST HIT 90,000 MILES. THE SPEEDOMETER WOULD NOT GO BACK DOWN AFTER I SLOWED DOWN. I WAS AT A COMPLETE STAND STILL AND IT SAID I WAS GOING 60MPH. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. WHILE REFUELING THE VEHICLE, THE CONTACT NOTICED THAT THE EMPTY FUEL WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FUEL GAUGE READING WAS INACCURATE AND WOULD FLUCTUATE SPORADICALLY. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO TWO DIFFERENT INDEPENDENT MECHANICS. THE MECHANIC STATED THAT THE ENTIRE INSTRUMENT PANEL WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. ALSO, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SPEEDOMETER READING WOULD ALSO FLUCTUATE INTERMITTENTLY AND PROVIDE INACCURATE READINGS. THERE WAS A CONCURRENT INVESTIGATION FOR THE FAILURE UNDER NHTSA ACTION NUMBER: DP10001 (FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP) THAT THE CONTACT BELIEVED COULD HAVE BEEN RELATED TO THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 58,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE ENTIRE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FAILED. THE DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 102,000.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. WHILE DRIVING 45 MPH, BOTH SIDE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED WITHOUT AN IMPACT OR CRASH OCCURRING. THE CONTACT SWERVED ON THE HIGHWAY, BUT MANAGED TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER, WHERE IT IS CURRENTLY BEING INSPECTED BY THE MANUFACTURER. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 74,000.
SHORTLY AFTER THE MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY EXPIRED, THE FUEL LEVEL SENSOR OF MY 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER STOPPED WORKING PROPERLY. THE GAS GAGE READS EMPTY EVEN WHEN THE TANK IS FULL. IT OCCASIONALLY MOVES FROM EMPTY TO 1/4 TANK, 1/2 TANK, THEN BACK TO EMPTY AGAIN. I WAS ADVISED BY THE DEALER THAT IT WOULD COST APPROXIMATELY $500 TO FIX. I NEVER KNOW EXACTLY HOW MUCH FUEL IS IN THE TANK, SO I FIND MYSELF GOING TO THE GAS STATION ALMOST EVERY OTHER DAY. I HAVE BEEN STRANDED ON SIDE OF THE HIGHWAY A FEW TIMES (THANK GOODNESS FOR ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE). HOWEVER, IT IS VERY DISHEARTENING TO KNOW THAT THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE AND NOTHING IS BEING DONE TO ENSURE THAT GM IS BEING HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE QUALITY OF THEIR PARTS. *TR
I HAVE A 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER. I RECENTLY STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE FUEL GAUGE. IT WILL SHOW THE TANK IS EMPTY, EVEN AFTER FILLING IT. I RESEARCHED IT ONLINE TO SEE IF OTHERS HAVE THIS PROBLEM AND HAVE FOUND MANY COMPLAINTS ABOUT IT. CHEVY SAYS IT'S A PROBLEM WITH THE SENSOR AND HAS A REPAIR KIT FOR IT, BUT CHARGES OVER $500 FOR THE KIT PLUS LABOR. I ALONG WITH MANY OTHERS USE THIS VEHICLE TO TRANSPORT MY CHILDREN AROUND, INCLUDING MY SON WITH SPECIAL NEEDS TO HIS MONTHLY APPOINTMENTS AT THE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL 200+ MILES AWAY. I MYSELF HAVE NEVER RUN OUT OF GAS AS THIS PROBLEM HAS JUST STARTED IN MY CAR, BUT I KNOW OTHERS WHO HAVE. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE RUNNING OUT OF FUEL (OTHERS HAVE COMPLAINED THAT THIS PROBLEM UNRESOLVED LEADS TO THE TRIP METER AND SPEEDOMETER TO STOP WORKING ALSO) AND CAUSING ACCIDENTS & INJURIES. WE TRAILBLAZER OWNERS ARE HOPING THAT ENOUGH COMPLAINTS FROM OWNERS AND A LITTLE PRESSURE FROM THE NHTSA WILL CAUSE CHEVY TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS PROBLEM!! PLEASE HELP US!! ON AVERAGE THIS PROBLEM SEEMS TO CROP UP AROUND 60,000 MILES. *TR
AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE THE OWNERS NOTICED THE REAR BRAKE LIGHTS DID NOT WORK. THE OWNERS IMMEDIATELY RETURN THE CAR TO THE PLACE OF PURCHASE FOR REPLACEMENT OF THE BRAKE LIGHTS. SEVERAL WEEKS LATER THERE WAS AN ISSUE WITH THE VEHICLE SPEAKERS AND THAT SEEMED TO INDICATE AN ISSUE WITH THE ELECTRICAL IN THE CAR. WHILE LISTENING TO THE RADIO AT ANY VOLUME (LOW, MEDIUM OR HIGH) A HIGH PITCH, FREQUENCY OR REVERBERATION WOULD HAPPEN. THIS IS ONLY WHEN THE RADIO IS PLAYED, NOT WHEN LISTENING TO CD'S. THE TEMPORARY SOLUTION IS TO FIRMLY HIT THE MIDDLE ARM REST TO STOP THE REVERBERATION. IT'S AN ANNOYANCE BUT COULD POTENTIALLY LEAD TO OTHER ELECTRICAL ISSUES AND ENORMOUS COSTS. PLEASE ADVICE OF EITHER SAFETY RECALLS, DEFECTS AND POSSIBLE SERVICE REPAIR TO THE VEHICLE. *JB
THE SPEEDOMETER ON MY 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER IS GOING HAYWIRE. ONCE THE VEHICLE IS AT A COMPLETE STOP, IN PARK, THE SPEEDOMETER READ ANY WHERE FROM 35 - 45 MPH. AFTER SEVERAL HOURS IN PARK THE NEEDLE WILL EVENTUALLY MAKE IT BACK TO "0". WHILE DRIVING THE SPEEDOMETER IS ANYWHERE FROM 10 MILES SLOW/FAST OF THE TRUE SPEED I AM GOING. *TR
MY GAS GAUGE READ 1/4 OF A TANK AND I WENT TO THE GAS STATION TO FILL UP AND 2 HOURS AFTER I FILLED UP THE GAS LIGHT CAME ON. I STOPPED TO PUT MORE GAS IN THINKING THAT MAYBE I STOPPED IT TOO EARLY AND IT WASN'T FULL. I STARTED DRIVING AND THE GAS LIGHT CAME ON. SO NOW MY GAS GAUGE DOESN'T WORK AT ALL AND I HAVE TO RELY ON MY MILES PER TRIP TO FIGURE OUT WHEN TO FILL UP. *TR
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY, REGULAR DRIVING CONDITIONS. THE SPEEDOMETER ON MY 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER DOES NOT WORK. IT IS CONTINUOUSLY READING THE WRONG SPEED AND SKIPS WHEN MOVING. IT WILL GO ALL THE WAY TO 120MPH AND THEN BEYOND WHEN I KNOW I AM ONLY GOING 50. AT 55 TO 65 MILES AN HOUR THE SPEEDO STICKS THEN CONTINUES TO CLIMB. THE ONLY WAY I HAVE FIGURED OUT HOW TO CHANGE IT BACK IS TO TURN ON AND OFF THE VEHICLE UNTIL IT RESETS BACK TO 0. THIS TAKES FOR EVER AND IS DAMAGING TO THE VEHICLE. IT ONLY GOES BACK 4 MPH AT A TIME WHENEVER I HAVE TO DO THIS. IT HAPPENS ALMOST EVERYDAY NOW AND I AM LIVID WITH MY VEHICLE. I WILL NEVER BUY A GMC AGAIN. *TR
SPEEDOMETER AND GAS GAUGE MALFUNCTIONING HEADLIGHTS SEEM TO BLINK WHEN I DRIVE AT NIGHT. CHEVY IS WELL AWARE OF THESE PROBLEM WITH THE CHEVY TRAILBLAZER 2005 ,THEY NEED TO DO A RECALL ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL LIKE NOW! MY 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER HAS SUDDENLY STOPPED TRACKING THE FUEL AMOUNT, IT HAS CAUSED ME TO NOT KNOW THE AMOUNT OF GAS IN THE VEHICLE, I HAVE ALSO DONE RESEARCH ON THE ISSUE AND MANY TRAILBLAZER OWNERS HAVE THE SAME ISSUE. IN THE BEGINNING THE SPEEDOMETER WOULD GO ALL THE WAY TO HIGHEST SPEED IMMEDIATELY UPON CRANKING VEHICLE. AFTER A FEW MONTHS OR QUIT WORKING ALL TOGETHER. THE GAS GAGE QUIT WORKING A FEW MONTHS AFTER THAT. THEN AGAIN A FEW MONTHS LATER ALL OTHER GAUGES QUIT WORKING EXCEPT RPM GAGE. THAT IS ONLY FUNCTIONING GAGE ON INSTRUMENT PANEL. *TR
MY TRAIL BLAZER CHECK ENGINE LIGHT STAYS ON WE CANNOT RESET IT. THE FULL GAUGE SAYS IT HAS MORE GAS THEN WHAT IT DOES, I HAVE TO GUESS TO AVOID RUNNING OUR OF GAS. SPEEDOMETER STOPS WORKING THEN IT FIXES ITS SELF. THE RADIO AND LIGHTS SOMETIMES STAY ON, AND KILLS MY BATTERY. *TR

LIGHTS FLICKER AT NIGHT. 3 OR 4 TIMES DRIVING 40 MILES. SAYS IT IS NORMAL FOR VEHICLE. *TR
AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. A DRIVER PULLED OUT IN FRONT OF MY WIFE. SHE WAS TRAVELING AT NEARLY 40MPH. SHE STRUCK ANOTHER VEHICLE BROAD SIDE. THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. THE FRONT BUMPER FROM OUR TRAILBLAZER WAS ABOUT 30 YARDS BEHIND OUR VEHICLE. MY WIFE EXPERIENCED SEVERE BRUISING TO ABD AND CHEST. HER SEATBELT WAS IN USE. *TR
UNDER NORMAL DRIVING CONDITIONS THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD CRACKED WITH 70,000 MILES ON VEHICLE. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH, THE CONTACT HEARD A LOUD BANGING NOISE COMING FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE. SHE PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER AND NOTICED THAT THE PLASTIC COVERING DETACHED ON THE BRAKE LIGHT, WHICH WAS LOCATED ON THE REAR LIFTGATE. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO SAFELY PLACE THE PIECE BACK ON, BUT THE WIRES WERE EXPOSED. THE PIECE IS NOT SAFELY IN PLACE BECAUSE IT IS BEING HELD TOGETHER BY DUCT TAPE. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE FAILURE WOULD NOT BE COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THE MANUFACTURER WOULD NOT PROVIDE COMPENSATION BECAUSE THE FAILURE WAS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 31,000 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 33,500.

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FUEL GAUGE SENSOR FAILED. WHEN FILLING UP THE VEHICLE WITH GASOLINE, THE "FUEL GAUGE EMPTY" WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL. IN ADDITION, THE FUEL GAUGE WOULD FLUCTUATE AND DISPLAY INCORRECT FUEL LEVELS. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE VEHICLE COULD NOT BE REPAIRED UNDER WARRANTY. THE CONTACT COULD NOT DETERMINE HOW MUCH FUEL WAS IN THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN REPAIRED. CONTROL CLUSTER FAILURE FOR A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER, SPEEDOMETER WORKS ABOUT 15% OF THE TIME. *TR
MY WIFE'S 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER'S FUEL GAUGE FAILED. SHE WAS DRIVING ON THE ROAD THINKING SHE HAD A 1/4 TANK OR SO OF GAS WHEN IT WAS ACTUALLY EMPTY CAUSING HER VEHICLE TO STALL WHICH NEARLY RESULTED IN AN ACCIDENT. FORTUNATELY FOR US, THE DRIVER BEHIND HER HAD AMPLE DISTANCE TO STOP BEFORE HITTING HER VEHICLE. WHEN THE CHEVY DEALER WAS CONTACTED THEY INDICATED THEY WERE AWARE OF A FAULTY PICKUP (?) IN THE TANK AND BUT IT HAS NOT BEEN RECALLED BY GENERAL MOTORS. I FEEL IT SHOULD BE RECALLED BY THE MANUFACTURER AND FIXED. IF THIS OCCURRED ON THE HIGHWAY THERE MOST LIKELY WOULD HAVE BEEN A SERIOUS ACCIDENT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND PLEASE MANDATE A RECALL FOR THIS SERIOUS AND POSSIBLY DANGEROUS DEFECT. *TR
THE DASH BOARD CLUSTER STOP WORKING SO THE AMOUNT OF GAS I PUT IN THE CAR DOES NOT SHOW HOW MUCH. THE SPEED OF THE CAR I CAN'T TELL HOW FAST I'M GOING. *KB
PURCHASED 11/24/2008 ~20K MILES. WITHIN 5MONTHS A WHOLE HOST OF ISSUES STARTED, THE 1ST BEING THE FUEL GAUGE NOT WORKING BY SHOWING FULL & ACTUALLY NOT (RAN OUT OF GAS TWICE) AND THEN SHOWING EMPTY AFTER FILLUP. 1WEEK LATER THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON & THE INSTRUMENT PANEL STOPPED WORKING. ~ ONE YEAR LATER, DEC 2009 THE SPEEDOMETER FLUCTUATED FROM WORKING PROPERLY TO ~50-55MPH BASE INSTEAD OF 0. AFTER A FEW DAYS, THE SPEEDOMETER DID ZERO-OUT BUT THEN DID NOT SHOW ANY SPEED BUT STAYED AT 0. ALONG WITH THE SPEEDOMETER ISSUE ARE THE HEADLIGHTS DIMMING SPORADICALLY. ALL OF THE ISSUES HAVE CONTINUED ON-OFF SINCE. MARCH 2012 THE WINDSHIELD RESERVOIR STARTED LEAKING/CRACKED. FEBRUARY 2013 HAD TUNEUP, BRAKES, AND THERMOSTAT REPLACED AND SINCE THEN ADD FRONT VENTS STOPPED WORKING PLUS SEVERE, SPORADIC, HIGH IDLE - DRIVING TO WORK (METROPOLITAN, DOWNTOWN, CAPITAL OF STATE-HIGH RUSH HOUR) THE HIGH REV STARTED AND ALL I WANTED WAS TO GET TO WORKPLACE PARKING LOT ~2MILES. 2BLCKS FR PKG LOT, I WAS BRAKING AT A LEFT, DBLTURN LIGHT WITH THE REV & BRAKES GRABBINGH/COUNTERACTING. I COME TO A FULL STOP BUT MY SUV REVS TO OVER 3RPMS & I THOUGHT THE TRBLZR WOULD BREAK FREE & CRASH INTO THE CARS IN FRONT OF ME! I HAVE A "CHRISTINE" CAR AND HATE THE FEELING OF DRIVING AN UNSAFE VEHICLE THAT CHEVY WON'T RECALL/FIX AND I CAN'T AFFORD TO BUY ANYTHING ELSE CURRENTLY OR GET ALL THESE ISSUES REPAIRED. I PLACE MINE, MY KIDS AND PASSENGERS' LIVES & SAFETY INTO JEOPARDY EVERY TIME WE GET IN TO DRIVE/RIDE. I ONLY HAVE 78K MILES AND 1YR OF CAR PYMNTS LEFT. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER CHEVY AGAIN AND I WAS A DIEHARD CHEVY AND "BUY AMERICAN" CONSUMER. THIS VEHICLE IS A PIECE OF JUNK. MY SPEEDOMETER IS ACTING BIZARRE, IT JUST GOES ROUND AND ROUND, STARTED ABUT 2 MONTHS AGO. I UNDERSTAND THAT THE 2003 & 2004 WERE RECALLED FOR THE CHEVY TRAILBLAZER. NOW WITHIN THE LAST WEEK, MY GAS GAGE HAS GONE CRAZY NOT SHOWING ACCURATELY, FIRST ON EMPTY LIGHT ON LOW FUEL, THEN WHILE I'M DRIVING LIGHT WILL GO OFF AND IT REGISTERS TO SHOW FULL TAKE WHEN ACTUALLY I MAY HAVE 1/2 TANK. I TOOK TO REPAIR SHOP EACH ITEM IS OVER 300.00 FOR REPAIR. HE SUGGESTED TO LOOK INTO SEE IF THE CENSOR WAS RECALLED FOR THE GAS, AND THAT 03 & 04 WAS RECALLED FOR THE SPEEDOMETER AND IF 05'S WERE BEING RECALLED. *TR
THE SPEEDOMETER HAS FAILED AND IT APPEARS THAT THIS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM AND HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR YEARS IN MANY CHEVY MODELS ESPECIALLY THE TRAILBLAZER. THEY WANT 800 DOLLARS TO FIX IT. ONLY HAVE 38900 MILES ON MY 2005. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DECIDED TO REPLACE THE VEHICLE BODY MODULE, THE THERMOSTAT AND THE BATTERY. THE REMEDY FAILED TO REPAIR THE PROBLEM. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 83,000.
MY TRAILBLAZER'S GAS GAUGE HAS READ EMPTY FOR OVER 2 YEARS NOW, THE LIGHT IS CONSTANTLY ON. IT HAS CAUSED BREAKDOWNS WHILE DRIVING. AFTER READING OTHER POSTS, THIS SHOULD BE RECALLED NO MATTER HOW MANY MILES ARE ON THE TRUCK. *TR
WAS DRIVING ON HIGHWAY AT APPROXIMATELY 65MPH WHEN WE WERE CUT OFF BY ANOTHER VEHICLE. WE DROVE OFF ONTO THE SHOULDER TO AVOID THE ACCIDENT AND STARTED TO SLID SIDEWAYS. AS WE CORRECTED THE VEHICLE WE ENTERED UPON THE PAVEMENT AND CORRECTED THE SLIDING VEHICLE AND WAS CONTINUING TO DRIVE STRAIGHT FOR ABOUT 3 SECONDS WHEN THE SIDE AIRBAG DEPLOYED. TGERE WAS NO COLLISION NOR WAS THE CORRECTIVE MOVE SO ERRATIC AS TO TIP THE VEHICLE. *TR
STARTED WITH THE SERVICE AIR BAG MESSAGE (KNOWN ISSUE). THEN THE FUEL GAUGE ACTED UP AND FINALLY WENT TO E AND STAYED. NOW HAVE AND OCCASIONAL SURGE IN THE FUEL WHEN I HAVE THE BRAKE PRESSED (KNOWN ISSUES). SPEEDOMETER STARTING ACTING UP AND NO LONGER WORKS (KNOWN ISSUE). OH AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS NOW ALWAYS ON. STARTED INTERMITTENTLY (AGAIN, KNOWN ISSUE). WAS TOLD $500 FROM DEALER WHEN I CALLED TO REPORT THE SERVICE AIR BAG MESSAGE. RECALL SHOULD APPLY TO THIS VEHICLE, I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE VEHICLE WENT THROUGH BEFORE I PURCHASED IT. CLOTH SEATS/LEATHER SEATS, THE SERVICE AIR BAG "SENSOR" IS STILL BROKE! DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO FIX ALL THE "KNOWN" PROBLEMS. *TR
I HAVE A 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER VIN#, I AM HAVING PROBLEM WITH THE SPEEDOMETER STICKING, NOT WORKING, SHOWING 120 MPH WHEN I AM COMPLETELY STOPPED. I CONTACTED MY GM DEALER & WAS TOLD THAT GM WAS NOT COVERING THE 2005 TRAIL BLAZER, BUT WAS COVERING 2003, 2004 GM TAHOE, SILVERADO & OTHER TRUCKS WITH THE SAME PROBLEM & THE SAME INSTRUMENT CLUSTER PANEL. I CONTACTED GM CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR A RESOLUTION ON 3-11-09 I TALKED WITH JOE SANDERS. ON 3-12 A DISTRICT SPECIALIST'S CONTACTED ME & ASSIGNED A SERVICE REQUEST NUMBER 71-708713901. ON 3-23-09 I TALKED WITH JENVIVE & SHE INDICATED MY CASE HAD BEEN REVIEWED & DENIED REPAIR BECAUSE GM WAS NOT COVERING THIS ISSUE IN THIS MODEL. SHE SAID TO PAY FOR THE REPAIR & HOLD ONTO RECEIPTS THAT GM MY COVER THE COSTS IN THE FUTURE. I ASKED FOR HER SUPERVISOR & TALKED WITH ERIN MATA & SHE DENIED MY REQUEST FOR GM TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE BECAUSE THEY WERE COVERING THE SAME PART PROBLEM IN EARLIER MODELS, BUT NOT IN THE 2005 TRAIL BLAZER. MY COMPLAINT IS THAT GM SHOULD COVER THE ISSUE IN LATER MODELS, WHEN THE PROBLEM IS WITH THE SAME INSTRUMENT CLUSTER PANELS. ANY HELP YOU CAN PROVIDE WOULD BE APPRECIATED. *TR

THE NUMBERS ON THE SELECTION FOR THE RADIO AND CD PAINT HAS PEELED OFF AND I HAD THE RADIO REPLACED ONCE. *TR
I HAVE BEEN REPORTING THIS SAME PROBLEM FOR OVER 4 YEARS TO ONSTAR AND GM THAT I HAD ISSUES WITH THE HEADLIGHTS DIMMING UPON STOPPING AT GOING. I HAVE CALLED ONSTAR AND WAS TOLD NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH MY SUV. I HAVE ALSO SAW A ENGINE LIGHT FLASH, CALLED ONSTAR AND NOTHING WAS SHOWING WRONG. MY 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER LS SPEEDOMETER HAS STOP WORKING. WHEN WE WERE DRIVING IT SUDDENLY WENT TO 120 MPH AND WERE ACTUALLY DRIVING 40 MPH. IT IS NOT SAFE TO BE DRIVING LIKE THAT! AN ACCIDENT CAN OCCUR OR POSSIBLY DEATH! TO THIS DATE IT I STILL STUCK AT 120 MPH! I BOUGHT IT NEW IN 2005 AND IT ONLY HAS 40,000 MILES! *TR
THIS SEEMS TO BE A PERVASIVE PROBLEM WITH RECENT MODELS OF CHEVY TRAILBLAZERS; THE FUEL GAUGE GOES UP AND DOWN ERRATICALLY WHEN THE VEHICLE IS EITHER LOW ON FUEL OR IS RECENTLY FILLED UP. SOME SOURCES INDICATE THAT THE PROBLEM IS WITH A FAULTY FUEL PUMP SENSOR, WHICH REQUIRES THE GAS TANK TO BE REMOVED AND A SENDING UNIT SENSOR REPLACED. FAULTY EQUIPMENT SHOULD BE RECALLED, AND NOT LEFT FOR THE CHANCE THAT THE PROBLEM WILL HAPPEN WHILE STILL UNDER WARRANTY. *TR

I FILLED MY 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER AND THE FUEL GAUGE STARTED BOUNCING BETWEEN THE FULL AND EMPTY MARKS. SHORTLY AFTERWARDS MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. I TOOK INTO MY DEALERSHIP AND WAS TOLD I HAD TO REPLACE THE FUEL SENSOR INSIDE THE GAS TANK FOR APPROX $900. I DO NOT HAVE THE RESOURCES FOR THE REPAIR AT THIS TIME SO I WILL FILL UP EVERY COUPLE DAYS TO MAKE SURE I DON'T RUN OUT OF GAS. I RESEARCHED ON THE INTERNET AND FOUND MULTIPLE WEBSITES THAT INDICATES THIS IS COMMON WITH 2005 TRAILBLAZERS. *TR
