2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER GAS GAUGE IS SHOWING INCORRECT READINGS. WHEN THE TANK IS FILLED, IT WILL READ EMPTY AND THE WARNING LIGHT/SIGNAL COMES ON. THE GAUGE WILL THEN READ INCORRECTLY AND GO BACK AND FORTH FROM EMPTY TO ABOUT A QUARTER OF A TANK FULL. I NEVER KNOW FOR SURE HOW MUCH FULL I HAVE IN THE TANK AFTER I FILL IT. I MUST GO ON MILEAGE. THIS IS A GREAT SAFETY CONCERN. *TR
SEAT BELT IN CENTER OF REAR SEAT DOES NOT FIT AND ADULT,ONLY A CHILD OR CAR SEAT,AS PASSENGERS ARE REQUIRED BY LAW IN MANY STATES TO WEAR SEAT BELTS THIS CREATES A VERY UNSAFE AND ILLEGAL SITUATION, DEALER STATES GENERAL MOTORS HAS NO PLANS TO CORRECT PROBLEM
NEW 2005 CHEVY TRAILBLAZER. THE SELT BELT IS BUILT INTO THE SEAT ITSELF. WHEN PUTTING ON THE SEAT BELT, IT CROSSES OVER MY NECK AND ACROSS THE THROAT. TWICE THE SEAT BELT HAS LOCKED WHEN OVER THE NECK AND THROAT ABOUT CHOKED ME. THE DEALER, THE SERVICE MANAGER ALL AGREE THAT THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE, AS THE SEAT BELT LAYING OVER MY NECK COULD IN AN ACCIDENT BREAK IT. CALLED GM DOES NOT HAVE ANY RESOLTION TO THE ISSUE OR OFFERED ANY OPTIONS. THE DEALER IS TRYING TO WORK THIS OUT AND NOT GETTING ANY HELP FROM GM. BOTH THE DEALER AND MYSELF ARE GETTING THE RUN AROUND ON THIS. DUE TO THE SAFETY ISSUE WITH THE SEAT BELT I AM CONCERNED ABOUT DRIVING THE CAR. I AM NOT SURE WHAT TO DO, GM OR CHEVY IS NOT TAKING THE DEALER OR MYSELF THAT THIS IS A SERIOUS SAFETY ISSUE. BEEN GOING ON FOR OVER 3 WEEKS, WITHOUT HELP. NO ONE WANTS TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OR PROVIDE HELP.
THE WINDSHIELD IN MY 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER WAS DEFECTIVE FROM THE FACTORY. IT HAD SUCH BAD RIPPLES IN THE GLASS THAT IT MADE ME FEEL AS IF I WERE LOOKING THROUGH A PAIR OF BIFOCALS. AFTER A COUPLE OF TRIPS BACK TO THE DEALER I FINALLY CONVINCED THEM TO REPLACE IT! THE NEW ONE IS BETTER BUT STILL HAS FLAWS IN IT. I'VE BEEN LOOKING AT OTHER TRAILBLAZERS NOW AND SEE THE SAME DEFECT IN MANY OTHER VEHICLES. I FEEL THAT COULD BE A SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN AND THAT SOMETHING SHOULD BE DONE ABOUT IT!
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER 360. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, ANOTHER VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE AND THE AIR BAG FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE DRIVER SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE NECK AND THE FRONT PASSENGER SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE RIGHT LEG WHICH REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE CONTACT WAS UNCERTAIN IF A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,000.
NEW TRAILBLAZER HAS AN INHERENT PROBLEM WITH THE STEERING. THE STEERING IS ULTRA SENSITIVE AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS AND MINOR CORRECTIONS TEN TO CAUSE OVERSTEERING AND SWAYING OF THE VEHICLE. I BELIEVE IN AN EMERGENCY HIGHWAY SITUATION THE STEERINGS SENSITIVITY COULD RESULT IN LOSS OF CONTROL AND A POSSIBLE ROLLOVER SITUATION. I HAVE BEEN TO THE DEALER TWICE SINCE THE CAR WAS DELIVERED AND THEY SAID THE TIRES AND ALIGNMENT ARE ALL WITHING SPECS. THE MANAGER DID COMMENT AFTER DRIVING MY CAR THAT HE THOUGHT THE STEERING WAS VERY RESPONSIVE AND THAT CHEVY MAKES CHANGES FROM YEAR TO YEAR AND THIS SEEMS TO BE THE MOST SENSITIVE. HE SAID NOTHING COULD BE DONE. I CALLED CHEVY CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FILED A REPORT. THEY CONTACTED THE DEALER AND SAID ALL WAS WITHIN SPECS AND THEY COULD NOT DO ANYTHING. I THINK THIS IS A POTENTIALLY MAJOR ISSUE AND SOMEONE SHOULD REVIEW THE SAFTEY ASPECS OF THIS STEERING.
DT: THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. HE STATES THAT THE WINDSHIELD ON THE PASSENGERS SIDE LOOKS AS IF ONE WAS LOOKING THROUGH A MAGNIFYING GLASS AROUND THE EDGES OF THE WINDOW. BUT IS WORSE ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE. ALSO, ON THE WINDSHIELD THERE IS A WAVY EFFECT THROUGH THE FIELD OF VIEW AND MAKES THIS DISTRACTING FOR THE DRIVER.*AK *JB
THE FUEL GAUGE DOESN'T WORK ON MY 2005 TRAILBLAZER EXT. *TR
I WAS INVOLVE IN AN ACCIDENT WHERE I HAVE LOST CONTROL OF A CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER AND HIT A CENTER DIVIDER ON THE FREEWAY. WITH THE FRONT BUMPER SMASHED ONTO THE CENTER DIVIDER, THE AIR BAG FAILED TO DELPLOY.

PURCHASED 2005 TRAILBLAZER 3/8/05 @ BACON CHEVROLET IN PALESTINE,TX. PROBLEMS: WHILE DRIVING HEADLIGHT & INTERIOR DASHBOARD LIGHTS FLICKER & SHUT OFF, ENGINE LOSES POWER & SURGES LUNGING FORWARD, BATTERY GAUGE DROPS & PEGS OUT, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES ON, DING ALARM, RADIO, ELECTRIC LOCKS, ETC, W/ NO KEY IN IGNITION GO OFF & ON, NO POWER CANT START VEHICLE. SVC MGR/TECH COMMENTS: CANT DUPLICATE COMPLAINT, NO CODES SHOWING, GM BULLETIN STATING "NORMAL" & WORKING AS DESIGNED, CAN NOT REPLACE OR WORK ON ANYMORE DUE TO TECH/GM MOTORS STATING "NORMAL", OR UNTIL PROBLEM CAN BE DUPLICATED OR UNTIL THEY HAVE A WAY TO FIX. REPAIRS:(TOTAL OF 9 TIMES IN SHOP) 2 HEADLAMP SWITCHES, 1 BATTERY, 3 TIMES WIRING HARNESS GONE THROUGH, NUMEROUS PCM UPDATES/REPROGRAMS, FUEL PRESSURE CHECK, IPC REPROGRAM, DATA RECORDER INSTALLED, REPLACED BCM BODY CONTROL MODULE, WORKORDERS HAVE BEEN ALTERED & WORK STATED DONE THAT HAS NOT BEEN DONE. I HAVE ALL MY WORKORDERS. CONCLUSION: TOOK TO BBB OF TYLER,TX.CS#CHV0592738, HAD ARBITRATION HEARING. BBB'S DECISION WAS THAT THEIR OPINION WAS THAT THE LIGHTS GOING OFF WHILE DRIVING WAS NOT A SAFETY ISSUE. THOUGHT THE BBB WAS SUPPOSE TO BE A CONSUMER ADVOCATE! I FOUND THIS WEBSITE WHILE DOING A COLLEGE RESEARCH PAPER. HOW MANY OTHER CONSUMERS HAVE SAME PROBLEM, BUT DO NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS WEBSITE. TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE SURGED FORWARD APPROXIMATELY FOUR FEET WHILE IN THE IDLE POSITION. THE DEALER INSPECTED THE VEHICLE FOUR TIMES AND WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE AND DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER INFORMED THE DEALER TO REPROGRAM THE COMPUTER. THE COMPUTER WAS REPROGRAMMED, BUT THE FAILURE STILL PERSISTED. THE CURRENT MILEAGE IS 37,000 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 900.
I HAVE BROUGHT MY VECHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP FOR SERVICE ON THREE SEPRATE OCASIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING CONDITION: THE VOLTAGE FLUCTUATES BETWEEN 10 AND 15 VOLTS, CAUSING THE HEADLIGHTS AND INSTRUMENT PANEL TO GO DIM, THEN BRIGHT AGAIN.*AK THE DEALERSHIP WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE OR REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM. TODAY 04/06/2005 THE DEALERSHIP STATED THEY CONTACTED GM, AND STATED THAT THIS WAS NORMAL. THIS IS NOT NORMAL! I HAVE NEVER DRIVEN A VECHICLE IN WHICH HEADLIGHTS GOING DIM, THEN BRIGHT NORMAL. IT IS ALMOST AS IF THE LIGHTS ARE FLASHING AT TIMES. THE DEALERSHIP STATED THAT THERE ARE TSBS STATING THAT THIS IS NORMAL. THIS TO ME CREATES AN UNSAFE DRIVING ENVIRONMENT. FOR 2005 MODEL YEAR, LIGHT DUTY FULL SIZE PICKUPS AND UTILITIES, ARE EQUIPPED WITH A NEW REGULATED VOLTAGE CONTROL (RVC) SYSTEM, COVERED IN THE SEPTEMBER 2004 TECHLINK. THE RVC SYSTEM ALLOWS CHANGES TO VEHICLE VOLTAGE, UP OR DOWN, UNDER VARIOUS SCENARIOS. BATTERY STATE OF CHARGE AND THE VEHICLE?S PRESENT ELECTRICAL NEEDS ARE ONLY TWO OF NUMEROUS CONDITIONS TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT. THIS WILL CAUSE THE VOLTMETER TO FLUCTUATE BETWEEN 12 AND 14 VOLTS. BY COMPARISON, CONVENTIONAL SYSTEMS USUALLY MAINTAIN A MORE CONSISTENT READING OF 14 VOLTS. THIS FLUCTUATION WITH THE RVC SYSTEM IS NORMAL SYSTEM OPERATION AND NO REPAIRS SHOULD BE ATTEMPTED.
I JUST PURCHASED A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER IN JANUARY OF THIS YEAR. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE DRIVER'S SIDE VISOR HAS AN UNCOVERED MIRROR ON IT. WHEN I PULL THE VISOR DOWN TO BLOCK THE SUN, THE MIRROR REFLECTS MY HANDS AND LAP WHICH IS A DISTRACTION WHILE DRIVING. I CALLED THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON AT GENERAL MOTORS (JOOHEE KIM). SHE SAID THAT THERE IS NOTHING THAT COULD BE DONE ABOUT REPLACING THE VISOR WITH ONE WITH NO MIRROR OR ONE WITH A COVERED MIRROR. I LOOKED AT SEVERAL OTHER SUV'S AND TRUCKS AT MY DEALERSHIP AND THE TRAILBLAZER IS THE ONLY ONE WITH AN UNCOVERED MIRROR. I HAVE NEVER OWNED OR SEEN AN AUTOMOBILE WITH AN UNCOVERED MIRROR ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE. I AM VERY CONCEREND ABOUT THIS PROBLEM AND BELIEVE THAT IT HAS THE POTENTIAL OF BEING A BIG SAFETY HAZARD.*AK
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER. SINCE PURCHASING THE VEHICLE, THE HEADLAMPS FLICKER OR DIM WHILE DRIVING, SIMILAR TO A POWER SURGE. THE DEALER WAS INITIALLY UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. WHEN THE FAILURE WAS ABLE TO BE DUPLICATED, THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO MAKE A REPAIR. AT THE END OF SEPTEMBER OF 2007, THE STEERING COLUMN MADE A SPARKING SOUND AND THE DEALER COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE FAILURE ONCE MORE. ON SEPTEMBER 20, 2007, THE RADIO AND ALL THE COMPONENTS ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL FAILED INTERMITTENTLY. THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE TURNED OFF AND RESTARTED FOR THEM TO EVENTUALLY OPERATE AGAIN. IN ADDITION, THE DOME LIGHTS WOULD REMAIN ILLUMINATED. THE DRIVER'S SIDE DOOR LATCHES WERE REPLACED TWICE. THE REAR HATCHBACK LATCH WAS REPLACED TWICE. WHEN THE KEY WAS REMOVED FROM THE IGNITION, THE KEY BUZZER WOULD CONTINUE TO SOUND. ON JANUARY 25, 2008, THE REAR WIPER MOTOR WAS REPLACED AND FAILED AGAIN ON MARCH 4, 2008. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 36,182 AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70. UPDATED 4/2/08 *CN THE CONSUMER STATED THE EMBLEM ON THE REAR TAILGATE LOOSING COLOR, BRAKE PADS AND ROTORS ARE WORN. UPDATED 04/02/08 *TR
HEATER BLOWER IS GOING OUT, THEN GOES BACK ON IF I TOUCH THE WIRES GOING INTO THE MOTOR HOUSING. NOW THE SPEEDOMETER IS GOING WACKY. SHOWS 120 MPH NEVER GOES BACK TO ZERO. THIS IS AN ONGOING PROBLEM WITH GM PLEASE INVESTIGATE.*JB

THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THE VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 05V035000 (VISIBILITY). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 52,000.

CONSUMER BOUGHT A NEW VEHICLE THAT HAD A DEFECTIVE WINDSHIELD. RESULT, POOR VISIBILITY. TOOK VEHICLE BACK TO DEALER, AND THE WINDSHIELD WAS REPLACED AGAIN. CONSUMER TOOK THE VEHICLE BACK A THIRD TIME. GM HAD SENT THE DEALERSHIP A NOTICE NOT TO REPLACE ANY MORE WINDSHIELDS FOR THE CHEVROLET TRAIL BLAZER. *AK
THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTED HARD FROM FIRST TO SECOND GEAR. *NM THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTED SO HARD THAT IT ALMOST JERKED THE STEERING WHEEL OUT OF THE CONSUMERS HANDS. THE SECOND CONCERN WAS WHEN THE CONSUMER HAD TO PLACE THE REAR SEAT DOWN TO PLACE ITEMS IN THE BACK , IT REQUIRED THAT THE FRONT SEAT BE MOVED FORWARD AND WOULD NOT GO ALL THE WAY BACK AGAIN. THE LAST CONCERN WAS THAT THE VEHICLE COULD NOT USE TIRE CHAINS DUE TO THE FACT THAT THERE WASN'T ENOUGH CLEARANCE AND THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED TO USE ANOTHER TRACTION DEVICE. *SC
DT: FOR NO REASON THE VEHICLE SHUTS DOWN. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN TAKEN TO THE DEALER FOUR TIMES FOR THIS PROBLEM. *NM
THE HEADLIGHTS, DASH LIGHTS AND DOME LIGHTS ALL FLICKER INTERMITTENTLY. I HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM SINCE NOV 2004 WHEN I BOUGHT THE TRUCK. RECENTLY I'VE NOTICED THE BATTERY GAUGE FLUCTUATE RATHER WILDLY WHEN THIS PROBLEM IS OCCURRING. IN MY CASE, THERE SEEMS TO BE A CONNECTION TO THE OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE. HOWEVER, GIVEN THE INTERMITTENT NATURE OF THE PROBLEM I CAN'T BE CERTAIN. I HAVE NOTICED THE PROBLEM MORE WHEN THE TEMPS ARE AROUND 35-45F. THE DEALER HAS SEEN THE VEHICLE SEVERAL TIMES FOR THE PROBLEM AND STILL CAN'T DETERMINE THE ISSUE. THE BIG PROBLEM IS THEY HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO REPRODUCE THE CONDITION. THE TRUCK NOW HAS 75000 MILES AND IS 4 YEARS OLD. THE FLICKERING/FLASHING HAS GOTTEN MUCH WORSE. ON DEC 2, 2008 THE FLICKERING WAS MORE AKIN TO OUTRIGHT FLASHING. OTHER DRIVERS BEING NOTICEABLY AFFECTED. *TR
2005 RENTAL TRAIL BLAZER FROM ENTERPRISE ON 11/1/2005 FAILED TO LOCK THE SEAT BELT PROPERLY TO HOLD ME BACK FROM HITTING THE STEERING WHEEL. I KNOW THIS WAS ALSO A PROBLEM ON THE 2002 TRAIL BLAZERS AND SOME OTHER SUVS. GM WAS TO SEND OUT AN INVESTIGATOR TO LOOK AT IT, BUT BECAUSE THEY WAITED TOO LONG, ENTERPRISE PUT THE SUV BACK ON THE ROAD. I AM NOT SURE IF THEY FIXED THE SEAT BELT OR NOT. I CAN NOT GET INFORMATION FROM THEM. GM SAYS MY INJURY IS NOT COMPENSATED BECAUSE THE VEHICLE IS NOT IN THE EXACT SHAPE NOW AS IT WAS WHEN I DROVE IT. MY MEDICAL BILLS AND INJURY IS NOT IMPORTANT TO GM, I TALKED TO SEAN KELLY AT ESIS WHO HANDLES THESE KIND OF CLAIMS FOR GM AND HE TOLD ME IT WAS MY RESPONSIBLITY TO FIND OUT IF THE SUV I HAD WAS FIXED OR NOT. THAT IS NOT RIGHT, AND I THINK THERE ARE A LOT OF OTHER VEHICLES OUT THERE WITH DEFECTS ON THE SEAT BELTS, BUT UNTIL YOU HAVE TO HIT THE BRAKES VERY HARD AND FAST TO AVOID AN ACCIDENT THAT IS WHEN THE SEAT BELT DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY.*AK
23SEP10 1715 PDT MY WIFE WAS DRIVING TO WORK ON A HIGHWAY WHEN LOW FUEL LIGHT WENT ON. SHE HAD LITERALLY JUST FILLED THE VEHICLE WITH GASOLINE. I HAD HER EXIT OFF HIGHWAY TO SIDESTREET AND CALL FOR A TOW. I TOLD HER NOT TO CONTINUE DRIVING BECAUSE IT COULD BE THE FUEL PUMP. I THEN LOOKED ONLINE TO FIND ANY REPORTS OF THIS. I FOUND IT TO BE THE SECOND MOST REPORTED PROBLEM WITH THE VEHICLE. WE HAD JUST PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE USED A FEW DAYS BEFORE. SO WE HAVE NO HISTORY WITH THE VEHICLE. THIS OCCURRED ONCE. I DID NOTICE THE LIGHT ON ONCE THE MORNING OF THE SAME DAY. I PLAN TO HAVE IT TOWED TO AND REPAIRED AT A TRUSTED LOCAL MECHANIC. ONLINE THE ESTIMATED COST FOR REPAIR IS $550. *TR
2005 CHEVERLOT TRAILBLAZER HAS HAD AN ISSUE SINCE I PURCHASED IT IN 2004 WITH STALLING OUT. HOWEVER OVER THE LAST 4 YEARS I HAVE HAD AN ISSUE OF NO START... EVERYTHING HAS BEEN REPLACED BY THE DEALER IGNITION SWITCH, ALTERNATOR, STARTER, EXHAUST, ETC.... LAST RESULT WAS THE PCM POWERTRAIN MODULE SUPPOSEDLY THE BRAINS OF THE CAR. HOWEVER THE SAME DAY IT STALLED AGAIN, MOST RECENTLY MY DEALERSHIP TOOK IT FOR A WEEK AND SAID THEY COULD NOT REDUPLICATE ISSUE. SO THERE AGAIN I AM AT THE SAME PLACE WHERE THE CAR WILL BE FINE FOR WEEKS THEN DO A NO START UNTILL AFTER SERVERAL ATTEMPTS AND SMELL OF GAS FINALLY THE CAR WILL START. CHEVRELOT TRAILBLAZER HAVE KNOWN THIS PROBLEM FOR AWHILE HAS DONE NOTHING ABOUT IT ...RESOLVE THE ISSUE AND DO A RECALL SPENT OVER $10,000 ON JUST MAINTENANCE.. AFTER FILLING MY GAS TANK, THE GAS GAUGE NEEDLE DROPPED PAST "E". IT RECOVERED SOMEWHAT AND A FEW DAYS LATER, BACK TO "E". THE NEEDLE ONLY SOMETIMES MOVES PAST "E", EVEN WHEN FULL, AND NEVER GOES MORE THAT THE 1/4 MARK. I'VE UNKNOWINGLY RUN OUT OF GAS TWICE. FIRST OCCASION I WAS ON A DARK ROADSIDE BUT HAD SOMEONE NEARBY TO HELP. THE MOST RECENT OCCASION I WAS ON A HIGHWAY, STALLED PARTIALLY IN TRAFFIC. IT WAS 5 DEGREES OUTSIDE AND THE CLOSEST ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE PROVIDER WAS OVER AN HOUR AWAY. *TR
2005 CHEVROLET TRAILBLAZER HAD PROBLEMS WITH POWER STEERING. UPON INSPECTION MECHANIC DETERMINED THE RACK AND PINION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *KB THE RACK AND PINION WERE REPLACED BUT THE VEHICLE BEGAN MAKING HUMMING NOISES AGAIN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHO BELIEVED THE PROBLEM WAS AGAIN WITH THE POWER STEERING. THE NOISE RETURNED AND THIS TIME THE TECHNICIAN THOUGH IT WAS THE POWER STEERING PUMP. *NM

2005 TRAIL BLAZER PEDAL SEEMED TO STICK*CW THE CONSUMER STATED THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED ON ITS OWN. THE FUEL GAUGE SENSOR WORKED INTERMITTENTLY AND THERE WERE TIMES WHEN THE CONSUMER DIDN'T KNOW HOW MUCH GAS WAS IN THE VEHICLE. THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED THE FUEL GAUGE SENSOR FAILED. *JB

THE FUEL GAUGE STOPPED WORKING WITHOUT WARNING. *DT THE CONSUMER STATED IT DIDN'T MATTER HOW MUCH FUEL WAS IN THE GAS TANK, THE GAUGE READ EMPTY AND THE AMBER WARNING LIGHT AND ALARM INTERMITTENTLY ENGAGED, EVEN WHEN THE FUEL TANK WAS FULL. THERE WAS NO WAY TO ACCURATELY CONFIRM HOW MUCH FUEL WAS IN THE VEHICLE AT ANY GIVEN TIME. WHILE ENROUTE TO THE DEALER, THE CONSUMER RAN OUT OF GAS. THE CONSUMER FINALLY MADE IT TO THE DEALER AND UPON INSPECTION, THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED THE FUEL SENSOR WAS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED WHICH REQUIRED THE GAS TANK TO BE REMOVED FROM THE VEHICLE. *JB
LETTER FROM SENATOR MCCAIN ON BEHALF OF CONSTITUENT WHO HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM WITH HER 2005 GM TRAILBLAZER INSTRUMENT PANELS (DOT/I#2010-1286) *TGW THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED IT WOULD COST BETWEEN $500-600 TO HAVE THE FAULTY INSTRUMENT PANEL REPLACED. *JB
