Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)Traction control said off light on. Car shut down power failure. Car shaking as it stopped in traffic almost causing an accident. Barely made off road. I have seen other multiple complaints and no way to fix this problem. It is a death sentence on the highway. With no other transportation for me.
FRONT STRUT FAILURE AT APPROX. 60,000 MILES
MY WIFE HAS A 2014 CHEVY TRAVERSE WITH 60,000. THE TRACTION CONTROL AND STABILITRACK WARNINGS CAME ON THE DASHBOARD. THIS HAPPENED 3 TIMES IN FOUR WEEKS. ONCE THE POWER WAS REDUCED AND THE CAR WOULD NOT ACCELERATE. WE WERE ON A CITY STREET WITH LIGHT TRAFFIC AND ONCE THE CAR STOPPED COMPLETELY. THANK GOD SHE WAS IN A PARKING LOT WHEN IT HAPPENED. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO THE DEALER EACH TIME WE GET THE MESSAGES. THE SAID THAT THEY COULD NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG AND COME BACK IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN. THE CHANGED A FUSE ON THE LAST VISIT. IT HAS HAPPENED AGAIN AND IT IS IN THE SHOP RIGHT NOW.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
