When my vehicle is going between 30-45 mph there is shaking happening. Torque converter feels like its locking up and then releasing.
I can't stand having to drive a car with that risk to life any longer. I have to drive with my family inside, there are two small children and I'm scared, and Chevy just tells me that they still don't have the part for the airbag. I've been dealing with this for years and I still don't have an answer. My car's price has dropped a lot because of this problem and Chevy isn't taking responsibility for the problem. I need to know what I can do.
I HAVE HAD MY CAR FOR ONLY TWO YEARS. I DO MAINLY HIGHWAY DRIVING AND A LITTLE RESIDENTIAL STREET DRIVING. MY STEERING RACK AND FRONT SUSPENSION LOWER CONTROL ARM MOUNT BRUSHING FAILED. I HAD TO HAVE THEM BOTH REPLACE AT COST OF $2,495. I ASKED THE CHEVY DEALER IF THIS SOMETHING THAT THEY TYPICALLY SEE AND I WAS TOLD THAT MY ISSUE APPEARED TO BE DEFECT, BUT SINCE MY VEHICLE DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE RECALL AND I AM JUST WENT OVER THE $36K BUMPER TO BUMPER.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
