THE CAR WILL NOT SHUT OFF, IT SAY IT IS NOT IN PARK
WHEN I TRY TO START MY CAR, WHICH IS A PUSH TO START, THE DASH READ KEY FOB NOT DETECTED. THE LIGHTS ON THE DASH BOARD, EXTERNAL AND INTERNAL LIGHTS COME ON. I REPLACED THE KEY FOB BATTERY, THE CAR BATTERY, AND MY O2 SENSOR AND I STILL HAVE THIS PROBLEM. MY CAR HASN'T STARTED IN 3 DAYS
I REPLACED THE TRANSMISSION AXLE HARNESS BACK IIN 2016 WHEN I GOT THE CAR. BUT NOT ALL OF A SUDDEN THE ABS SENSOR KEEPS GOING OUT AND IT COMES ON AND OFF AFTER REPLACING IT. I REPLACED IT THE CAR WAS FINE THEN BOOM ITS BACK ON. THE CAR SPEEDS UP WHEN I JUST BE GOING 10 MILES AN HOUR AND I HAVE TO SLAM ON MY BRAKES TO KEEP IT FROM GOING OUT OF CONTROL. I ALMOST HAD TWO ACCIDENTS WITH THIS ISSUE. AND THE DEALERSHIP KEEPS TELLING ME THAT RECALL WAS FIXED BUT I DONT BELIEVE IT WAS. MY CAR KEEPS TRYING TO SPEED UP WITH ME JUST EVEN PULLING OFF FROM A PARKING SPOT. ITS A CHRYSLER 200 S 2015 . I THINK THIS CAR IS HORRIBLE AND I AM STUCK WITH THIS LEMON
TAKATA RECALL, WHILE IN MOTION THE CAR BATTERY VOLTAGE GOES UP AND DOWN, IT JUMPS FROM 14.2 TO 14.0 TO 13.9 BACK TO 14.0 THAN TO 11.9, 10.9 THAT BACK UP TO 14.0 HAD BATTERY CHECKED BY ADVANCED AUTO, ADVISED BATTERY VOLTAGE IS GOOD. DASHBOARD GOES IN AN OUT WHILE IN MOTION WITHOUT WARNING, I PURCHASED THE CAR USED A YEAR AGO AND NOW EXPERIENCING PROBLEM AND FEARFUL TO DRIVE, CALLED A DEALERSHIP SERVICE UNABLE TO GET AN APPOINTMENT, THEY ARE BOOK FOR THE NEXT 3 WEEKS, CALLED EVERY DEALERSHIP WITHIN A 20 MILES RATIO ALL ARE BOOK, NEED TO KNOW WHY THIS VEHICLE IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE ELECTRICAL RECALL.
DRIVING MY 2015 CHRYSLER 200S AND I'M HEARING SQUEAKY NOISE WHENEVER I GO OVER A BUMP IN THE ROAD. TOOK MY CAR TO THE SHOP AND WAS TOLD THAT I NEED A LOT OF FRONT END WORK DONE, AND THAT MY LOWER CONTROL ARMS WERE BAD AS WELL AS MY STRUTS. TO ADD MORE INSULT THERE ARE NO STRUTS ON THE MARKET FOR THIS CAR. THIS CAR IS ONLY 3 YEARS OLD......
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE DRIVING VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE ACCELERATED INDEPENDENTLY. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CRUISE CONTROL HAD NOT BEEN ENGAGED AT THE TIME. A LOCAL DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE WAS INTERMITTENT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 17,000. *TT *JB *TR
WHEN I TURN MY CAR OFF AT NIGHT, MY DASH BACKLIGHTING REMAINS ON 4 HOURS IF NOT INDEFINITELY. ALSO, THE CAR WILL OCCASIONALLY GO FROM A NORMAL READING TO OVERHEATING ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AND IT WILL REMAIN OVERHEATING ONLY ON THE PANEL FOR A FEW MINUTES BEFORE GOING BACK TO NORMAL AGAIN. THE CAR HAS NO OTHER INDICATIONS THAT IT IS OVERHEATING. THERE IS NO SMELL OF ANTIFREEZE. THE HEAT CONTINUES TO WORK NORMALLY. THERE IS NO VISIBLE STEAM OR OTHER INDICATION THAT THE CAR ACTUALLY DOES OVERHEAT. IT APPEARS TO BE A ELECTRICAL ANOMALY. LASTLY, THE TOP HALF OF MY REAR WINDOW DEFROST IS NO LONGER WORKING. MY CAR HAS 48000 MILES ON IT AND HAS BEEN GARAGE ITS WHOLE LIFE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO BRENHAM CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE (LOCATED AT 1880 HIGHWAY 290 W, BRENHAM TX 77833, 979-212-8005) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SENSOR IN ONE OF THE SEATS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE SPECIFIC SEAT COULD NOT BE CONFIRMED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED; HOWEVER, THE FAILURE RECURRED APPROXIMATELY A WEEK LATER. THE CONTACT RETURNED THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THEY REPLACED THE AIR BAG. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA TO FILE A COMPLAINT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
I PURCHASED MY CAR AT THE END OF SEPTEMBER 2017. ABOUT TWO WEEKS LATER MY CAR JUST SHUT OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUSY INTERSECTION. I CALLED BAXTER AND EXPLAINED MY PROBLEM AND ICALLEDA TOW TRUCK. LATER THAT DAY BAXTER CALLED ME BACK TO INFORM ME THAT MY CAR HAD MULTIPLE RECALLS.THEY FIXED THE RECALLS AND MY CAR WAS GOOD FOR AWHILE. I THEN STARTED HAVING A ISSUE WHERE MY CAR WOULD JERK HARD WHEN I WOULD COME TO A STOP. AFTER I START RESEARCHING MY MAKE AND MODEL OF MY CAR I START TO READ THAT JUST ABOUT EVERY MAKE AND MODEL AND YEAR OF MY CAR HAS THE SAME ISSUE. I CALL BAXTER AGAIN TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AND EXPLAIN WHAT I READ TO THEM AND THEY CALL ME BACK AND NOW SAY IT'S MY BATTERY. I GET MY CAR BACK IT'S STILL HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. EXPECT NOW MY CAR WILL JUST RANDOMLY SHUT OFF WHEN I'M DRIVING. THEY TELL ME TO COME BACK WHEN I HAVE DROVE IT 1,000 MILES. I DID NOT WAIT 1,000 MILES BECAUSE I NANNY AND DRIVE PEOPLE'S CHILDREN IN MY CAR AND IT'S COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE THAT MY CAR SHUTS OFF WHEN I DRIVE AND MY TRANSMISSION SLIPS. I KEEP MAKING APPOINTMENTS AND FINALLY THEY SAY IT'S MY TRANSMISSION SO THEY HAVE MY CAR FOR ABOUT A WEEK TO PUT A NEW TRANSMISSION IN MY CAR. MY TRANSMISSION STILL SLIPS AND IT FEELS LIKE SOMEONE IS SLAMMING INTO THE BACK OF ME WHEN I COME TO A STOP. I HAVE CALLED BAXTOR MULTIPLE TIMES SINCE A NEW TRANSMISSION HAS BEEN PUT IN AND THEY TELL ME THERE IS NOTHING MORE THEY CAN DO WITH MY VEHICLE AND THAT THE CHRYSLER ASSOCIATION TOLD THEM TO NOT PERFORM ANYTHING ELSE ON MY CAR BECAUSE THIS IS NORMAL FOR MY CAR TO DO THIS.
VEHICLE TRANSMISSION DOES NOT FUNCTION CORRECTLY. SEVERE JERKING MOVEMENTS UPON ACCELERATION AND BREAKING. VEHICLE IS VERY UNSAFE TO DRIVE IN SITUATIONS THAT REQUIRE LEFT OR RIGHT HAND TURNS INTO TRAFFIC. EXTREMELY UNRELIABLE ACCELERATION! VEHICLE WILL LOSE POWER IN MIDDLE OF TURN WITH ONCOMING TRAFFIC. SEVERAL NEAR MISSES WHEN ATTEMPTING TO MAKE A LEFT-HAND TURN IN MULTI-LANE HIGHWAYS. SIMPLY PUT, I DO NOT FEEL SAFE DRIVING THIS VEHICLE. DEALERSHIP HAS SERVICED THIS VEHICLE MULTIPLE TIMES WITH NO RESOLUTION. THIS ISSUE IS AN EVERYDAY OCCURRENCE.
BRAKE PEDAL WILL NOT PUSH DOWN AND CAR WON'T START.
AIR BAG LIGHT FAILS TO TURN OFF EVEN AFTER ITS BEEN SERVICED . MIDDLE CONSOLE AND SCREEN CONSTANTLY GETTING STUCK/ FROZEN WHILE DRIVING.. ALSO IT ACCELERATES BY ITSELF SOMETIMES!
FOR THE LAST 2 WEEKS MY CAR WILL TURN OFF WHILE DRIVING AND DIRECT ME TO SHIFT TO PARK. I DO NOT HAVE ANY WARNING LIGHTS ON AT THIS TIME. I DOES NOT MATTER IF I AM TURNING, DRIVING STRAIGHT, SLOWING DOWN OR AT A STOP SIGN.
OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION MODULE IN THE PASSENGER SEAT FAILS UNEXPECTEDLY CAUSING AIRBAG LIGHT ON AND SHUT DOWN OF THE ENTIRE VEHICLE AIRBAG SYSTEM. SIMILAR TO THE S09/NHTSA 16V-114, BUT VEHICLE WAS NOT PART OF THAT RECALL CAMPAIGN.
WHILE DRIVING AT ABOUT 25 MPH, MY CAR LOST POWER WITH NO WARNING. ALL OF A SUDDEN, I SAW THE ERROR MESSAGE "SHIFT TO PARK TO START". WHEN ATTEMPTING TO RESTART, IT HESITATED IN DOING SO.
TOOK CAR FOR ROUTINE TIRE ROTATION, 44,000 MILES ON CAR. TOLD COULD NOT ROTATE DUE TO REAR PASSENGER TIRE "CUPPING". DID RESEARCH, WAS A RECALL FOR 2015 CHRYSLER FOR FAULTY SHOCKS IN REAR OF CAR. I CALLED CHRYSLER, TOLD ME MY VIN WAS NOT INCLUDED. VERY DANGEROUS, SHOCK COULD BREAK, TIRE COULD BLOW OUT. I WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR THE NEW FAULTY SHOCKS MYSELF AND 2 NEW REAR TIRES.
WHILE DRIVING, THE CAR STOPS AND THE LIGHT FLASHES. FIRST TIME IT HAPPEN WAS 9/18/18 THE CAR COMPLETELY STOP WHILE I WAS DRIVING, LUCKILY, IT WASN'T A LOT OF TRAFFICK AND THE SECOND TIME I WAS PROCEEDING TO A STOP LIGHT 9/20/18. I AM NERVOUS TO EVEN DRIVE THE CAR BUT I HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE TO DRIVE IT FOR THE MOMENT.

THE AIR BAG SERVICE LIGHT CONTINUES TO TO COME ON AND THE AIR BAG LIGHT STAYS ON.
THREE TIMES IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS MY CAR HAS TURNED OFF COMPLETELY WHILE DRIVING. EACH TIME IT HAS HAPPENED AS I WAS BRAKING. TOOK SEVERAL MINUTES TO GET THE CAR RE-STARTED AND LEFT ME STRANDED DANGEROUSLY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD. THERE HAS ALREADY BEEN A RECALL FOR THIS EXACT ISSUE WHICH MY CAR HAS BEEN SERVICED FOR AND YET IT IS STILL HAPPENING.
I HAVE THE ISSUE WITH RIGHT SIDE SEAT DEPLOYMENT SQUIB 1 -CIRCUIT OPEN,I WENT TO DEALERS THEY ARE SAYING ITS NOT IN WARRANTY SO CAN YOU PLEASE UPDATED THE RECALL ON THIS AIR BAG ISSUE. POWER TRAIN: I WENT TO DEALER NEARLY 4 TIMES EVERY TIME THEY UPDATE THE TRANSMISSION AND WHEN EVER I STEP ON BRAKE,CAN WILL MOVE FORWARD AND WILL STOP IT BECAUSE MY RPM IS INCREASING HIGH AND ITS CAR IS STOPPED ALL OF SUDDEN ON THE ROAD.PLEASE RECALL MY VEHICLE

MILLER CHRYSLER (10101 PAPAGO FREEWAY, AVONDALE, AZ) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE POWER DISTRIBUTION CENTER ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND DID NOT ASSIST. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V470000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED THE SAME FAILURE LISTED IN THE RECALL. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 43,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. WHILE THE VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY, IT SHIFTED INTO NEUTRAL SPONTANEOUSLY. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO SWITCH INTO THE REVERSE OR DRIVE GEARS. THE CONTACT DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY TO TURN OFF THE VEHICLE. UPON RESTARTING THE VEHICLE, IT WOULD NOT TURN OFF AND WAS STUCK IN THE NEUTRAL GEAR. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE CONTACT'S RESIDENCE. THE CONTACT PURCHASED A NEW BATTERY, AS RECOMMENDED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. A DEALER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 55,800.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE WHEELS WERE BALANCED. THE VEHICLE WAS LATER TAKEN TO DICK HUVAERE'S RICHMOND CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM SRT MOPAR (LOCATED AT 67567 SOUTH MAIN STREET, RICHMOND, MI 48062), BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND REFERRED THE CONTACT TO NHTSA. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 14,000.

A/C DIED IN 2018; I DECIDED TO WAIT TO REPAIR BECAUSE I THOUGHT THE VEHICLE NEEDED FREON. AFTER TAKING THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP THE COMPRESSOR NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. THE EXTENDED WARRANTY EXPIRED. SINCE THE CAR IS COMPUTERIZED I HAVE TO PAY FOR UPDATES AND ELECTRICAL ISSUES. NOW THE SEAT BELT LIGHT IS ON DUE TO TWO BAD HARNESS UNDER THE SEAT. AN UPDATE WAS ALLEGEDLY REPAIRED OF THE CAR JUMPING, THE CAR STILLS JUMPS. THE VEHICLE IS SLOWLY DETERIORATING AT MY EXPENSE. CHRYSLER HAS STATED THEY WILL NOT HELP ME. THIS VEHICLE NEEDS TO BE RECALLED IMMEDIATELY.
THIS VEHICLE WHEN I PURCHASED IT HAS BEEN HAVING MULTIPLE PROBLEMS. THE TRANSMISSION HAS BEEN SLIPPING INTO NEUTRAL WHILE I AM DRIVING AT LEAST TWICE A WEEK. I HAVE TO PULL OVER CUT THE VEHICLE OFF AND RE START IT. ALSO THERE'S ALWAYS ISSUES WHILE I TRY AND START THE VEHICLE. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO FIVE DIFFERENT MECHANICS TO FIX THE PROBLEM. NEW ALTERNATOR,NEW BATTERY,FIVE DIFFERENT DIAGNOSTICS MADE. THE EXTENDED WARRANTY MENTIONS THAT I NEED TO BRING IT TO THE DEALER. WHICH I HAVE TWICE. THEY RE SET THE SOFTWARE WHICH DID NOT FIX THE PROBLEM. IT STILL SLIPS INTO NEUTRAL. COTTMAN TRANSMISSION DID A DIAGNOSTIC THAT I PAID FOR OUT OF POCKET. THEY INFORMED ME THAT THIS PROBLEM AND THE CODES THAT CAME UP ARE MANUFACTURING ISSUES. ASSOCIATED WITH BAD ELECTRICAL WIRING AS WELL AS A BAD SET UP FOR THE TRANSMISSION. ALSO THE SAME MODEL MAKE AND YEAR FOR THIS VEHICLE THERE WAS A RE CALL FOR THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM AND CODE. THE EXTENDED WARRANTY COMPANY COVERS THESE PROBLEMS BUT TOLD ME TO BRING IT TO CHRYSLER TO FIX. CHRYSLER HAS CHECKED MY VEHICLE TWICE AND RE SET THE SYSTEM FOR THE LIGHT TO COME OFF. OF COARSE THE PROBLEM WAS NOT RESOLVED. NOW EVERYONE IS STILL POINTING THE FINGERS AT EACH OTHER. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR OVER A YEAR. MY FACTORY WARRANTY SHOULD FIX IT UNDER THE POWER TRAIN WARRANTY ALSO SILVERROCK SHOULD FIX IT UNDER MY EXTENDED WARRANTY CONTRACT. THERE HAS BEEN NO RESOLUTION. I HAVE TO CONSISTENTLY TAKE OFF WORK TO MAINTAINANCE THIS CAR. PLEASE HELP.

TAKATA RECALL; WHILE DRIVING THROUGH HEAVY TRAFFIC ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON A WARNING LIGHT APPEARS ON THE DASH SCREEN: POWER STEERING UNAVAILABLE, NEED SERVICE SOON. SUDDENLY THE STEERING WHEEL LOCK UP AND WOULDN'T TURN. I CRUISE THE CAR TO THE TRAFFIC LIGHT WAITING FOR IT TO TURN RED IN ORDER TO TURN THE IGNITION OFF. WHEN THE TRAFFIC LIGHT TURN GREEN I TURN THE IGNITION BACK ON BUT SUDDENLY THE WARNING LIGHT CAME BACK ON AND AGAIN I WASN'T ABLE TO STEER THE CAR OVER TO THE NEXT LANE IT FROZE UP. TRAFFIC WAS HEAVY AND A LARGE TRUCK WAS DRIVING BEHIND ME BLOWING HIS HORN FOR ME TO SPEED UP OR GET OUT OF THE WAY BUT I COULD NOT STEER THE CAR OVER. I PUT ON THE EMERGENCY LIGHTS AND TRY HARD TO STEER THE CAR UNTIL I REACH ANOTHER TRAFFIC LIGHT TO TURN OFF THE IGNITION. WHEN REACHING THE RED LIGHT I TURN OFF THE IGNITION AND TURN IT BACK ON AT THE GREEN LIGHT. THE WARNING LIGHT WENT OFF AGAIN AND THE STEERING WHEEL TURNED A LITTLE BETTER FOR ME TO CRUISE THE CAR IN THE RIGHT HAND LANE TO THE NEAREST SHOP. I WAS ABOUT 15 MILES FROM HOME AND ABLE TO STEER THE CAR IN A STRAIGHT LANE TO DRIVE SLOW WITH MY AMBER LIGHTS BLEEPING. THEN I NOTICE A FIRESTONE WAS OPEN, THE STEERING WHEEL WAS LOCK UP AGAIN SO I JERK IT AS HARD AS I CAN TO STEER IT INTO THE PARKING LOT. THIS WAS A DANGEROUS SITUATION AND THANKS GOD FOR HIS PROTECTION BECAUSE THIS COULD HAVE CAUSE A LOT OF PEOPLE LIVES. FIRESTONE EXAMINE MY VEHICLE AND EXPLAIN WHAT THEY FELT THE PROBLEM WAS; ELECTRICAL, AND I HAD TO LEAVE THE VEHICLE TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM. THE FOLLOWING DAY THEY EXPLAIN TO ME THAT IT COULD BE MY BATTERY SO THEY REPLACE THE BATTERY STILL NO SUCCESS. CALL THE FOLLOWING DAY AND ASKED IF THEY BELIEVE THEY COULD REPAIR THE CAR AND THE MANAGER WAS HONEST AND SAID NO BECAUSE IT'S A SAFETY ISSUE, THE PARTS THAT IS NEEDED IS OUT OF STOCK AND THE CAR HAVE TO BE TAKEN TO A DEALERSHIP. POSSIBLE A RECALL.
SINCE 08/18/18, THE VEHICLE STALLS WHILE IN MOTION AND BECOMES DIFFICULT TO RESTART. THIS HAS BECOME A DAILY OCCURRENCE AND MAKES THE VEHICLE UNSAFEW TO DRIVE AS IT DOES STALL WITH THE VEHICLE IN MOTION AND OCCURS WITHOUT ANY WARNING SIGN.
THE FIRST INCIDENT OF THE CAR STALLING OCCURRED IN A PARKING LOT ON 8/18/18, IT JUST SHUT OFF WHILE STILL IN GEAR. I PUT IT IN PARK AND RESTARTED IT AND I WAS ABLE TO CONTINUE DRIVING. LATER THAT SAME DAY, I WAS DRIVING HOME, THANKFULLY ON A QUIET ROAD. IT STARTED TO SPUTTER AND SHUT OFF AGAIN WHILE STILL IN GEAR. SOMEHOW I WAS ABLE TO PULL TO THE SHOULDER OF THE ROAD. THIS TIME, I COULD NOT GET IT RESTARTED, SO I CALLED MY ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE WHO TOWED THE CAR TO THE PLACE I PURCHASED IT. THEY CHANGED THE SPARK PLUGS AND SAID THEY WERE OXIDIZED AND WERE PROBABLY THE CAUSE. I PICKED UP THE CAR ON 8/21/18 AND IT DROVE OK. THE NEXT DAY, I WAS DRIVING HOME AND AS I TURNED THE CORNER ONTO A BUSIER ROAD, IT STALLED AGAIN WHILE STILL IN GEAR. I COULD NOT GET IT TO RESTART AT ALL. THIS WAS QUITE SCARY EVEN THOUGH I WAS OVER AS FAR TO THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROAD AS I COULD BE WITH MY HAZARD LIGHTS ON. I CALLED ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE AGAIN AND I RECEIVED A TEXT THAT THEY WOULD BE THERE IN LESS THAN 45 MINUTES, AND THEN ANOTHER STATING THEY WOULD BE THERE IN LESS THAN 20 MINUTES. THE SHERIFF THAT SHOWED UP SAID SHE WASN'T WAITING AROUND FOR 75 MINUTES AND FORCED ME TO HAVE MY CAR TOWED BY THE COUNTY TOW COMPANY AS SHE SAID IT WOULD BE FASTER. MY TOW COMPANY SHOWED UP LESS THAN 2 MINUTES AFTER THEIRS DID, BUT I WAS TOLD TOO BAD AND THEY TOOK MY CAR TO IMPOUND. I HAD TO COME UP WITH ALMOST $300 TO GET MY CAR OUT AND THEN I CALLED MY ROADSIDE AND THEY SWITCHED ME OVER TO CHRYSLER ROADSIDE WHO WAS ABLE TO TOW THE CAR TO THE NEAREST CHRYSLER DEALER, WHERE IT NOW SITS. I TOLD THEM I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE THIS CAR NOW AND I WANT IT FIXED. I AM THINKING IT IS THIS IS THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM RECALL R24
I WAS DRIVING AT NIGHT AN HIT A CURB AND THE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON AND WILL NOT GO BACK OFF. THE CAR ONLY HAS 43965 MILES ON THE CAR AS I DO NOT DRIVE IT ALOT. THEY SAID IT IS NOT A FACTORY ISSUE, YET I SEE ALOT OF PEOPLE COMPLAINING OF THE AIRBAG ISSUE ON THIS MODEL CAR. I AM VERY DISSATISFIED WITH THIS CHRYSLER AND WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER.
CAR WILL SHUT OFF FOR NO REASON WHILE DRIVING, POSING A HAZARD TO OTHER DRIVERS. HAS HAPPENED 3 TIMES WITHIN A YEAR AND A HALF. DEALERSHIP HAS NO ANSWER WHY.
WHILE DRIVING ON THE INTERSTATE THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON WITH A MESSAGE TO SERVICE TRANSMISSION. I MERGED OFF OF THE INTERSTATE AND STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT AND WHEN THE LIGHT TURNED GREEN AND I TRIED TO ACCELERATE THE CAR WOULDN'T MOVE AND THE RPMS WOULD JUST GO UP. EVENTUALLY THE CAR STARTED MOVING SLOWLY AT HIGH RPMS WITH SEVERAL CARS BEHIND ME AND I PULLED OVER AND HAD TO GET MY CAR TOWED.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE HER DAUGHTER WAS DRIVING AT UNKNOWN SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITH NO WARNING. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE CURRENTLY WAS STUCK IN NEUTRAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO COULD NOT DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A SECOND INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THE FAILURE AS ELECTRICAL HOWEVER, HE WAS UNABLE TO REPAIR OR DIAGNOSE THE PARTS THAT WERE NEEDED TO BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED. THE CONTACT RESEARCHED THE VEHICLE FAILURES ONLINE AND BELIEVES THE FAILURES WERE RELATED TO NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBERS: 15V470000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) AND 15V090000 (POWER TRAIN). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VIN WAS NOT UNDER RECALL. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 50,000.
I WAS SITTING IN MY CAR AND NOTICE THE AIRBAG LIGHT APPEARED AND I KNEW I HAD JUST GOT IT FIXED AT A CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP THAT CHARGE ME $183 FOR DIAGNOSTICS WHEN THEY SEEN IT ITSELF. IT WAS NOT THE BATTERY BECAUSE THE LIGHTS WERE ON THERE WAS NO START FOR THE CLICK I WAITED ABOUT 20 MINUTES AND IT STARTED SOMETHING ARE WRONG WITH THESE CHRYSLER CARS IT IS IMPERATIVE WHY A CAR SHOULD NOT START OR AIRBAG LIGHT KEEP COMING ON ONCE THEY ARE FIXED I WILL NEVER BYE A CHRYSLER AGAIN THIS IS HARMFUL TO ME AND MY CHILDREN SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE.
DRIVING DOWN HIGHWAY AND CAR SHUT OFF. THE DASH LIGHTS WENT OUT BUT CONTROL LIGHTS STAYED ON. TOOK 3 ATTEMPTS TO START AGAIN. 2ND TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED.
THIS VEHICLE HAS A SHUDDER AND A JERKING MOTION AT APPROXIMATELY THE 28 TO 35 MPH RANGE. ALSO SWITCHING THE GEARS FROM NEUTRAL TO DRIVE OR REVERSE WILL FREEZE. HAVE TO SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF AND TRY AGAIN. AS FAR AS THE SUSPENSION, THE LEFT REAR HAS MADE A SOUND ALMOST FROM THE BEGINNING WHEN VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED. IT MAKES A CLUNKING SOUND IF GOING OVER A BUMP, OR HIT A DEVIATION IN THE ROAD. WAS TOLD FOR THE LONGEST TIME COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING. NOW ALL OF A SUDDEN 1 SHOCK IS BAD.

IT HAS BEEN SHUTTING OFF DURING DRIVING, AND ALSO READS CODES OF GAS CAP, BUT I THINKS A SENSOR AND ALSO TRANSMISSION SENSORS, DOES NOT WANT TO START, SAYS KEY FOB NOT DETECTED, AND WIPERS DO NOT GO FAST AT ALL
TAKATA RECALL MY AIRBAG LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON AFTER I ALREADY TOOK IT BACK TO GET IT FIXED AT THE DEALERSHIP. MY ENGINE WON'T TURN ON WHEN IT IS HOT OUTSIDE, THE CAR TAKES A LONG TIME TO EXCELERATE ON THE CITY STREET AND HIGHWAY.
MY CAR REVES UP THE RPMS WHEN IM ACCELERATING AND IT FEELS AS THOUGH THE TRANSMISSION IS SLIPPING.
CAR JOLTS AND JERKS WHEN CHANGING GEARS. THE TRANSMISSION IS SLIPPING AND WHEN DRIVER PUSHES PEDAL TO ACCELERATE THERE IS A DELAY AND CAUSES A JOLT. DRIVER HAS TO MAKE A COMPLETE STOP FOR THE TRANSMISSION TO KEEP UP OR IT JOLTS. UNSAFE ON TRAFFIC CONDITIONS AND UNABLE TO CONTROL JOLTS AND JERKS.
VECHILE SHOWED NO WARNING OF OVER HEATING REMIND U THIS IS ALMOST THE LUXURY MODEL 200S.. ALSO EMISSION ALWAYS COMES UP WITH CHECK ENGINE EVEN WHEN I CHANGE GAS.. ALSO FUEL CAP ISN'T ALWAYS A TIGHT FIT EVEN THREW MOPAR POPS UP AS CAP LOOSE! HAVE A TERRIBLE SUSPENSION PROBLEM BEING A SPORTS MODEL WITH 19INCH STOCK RIMS VERY POUR DESIGN ON LOWER CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS AND STRUTS!

CAR WOULD OCCASIONALLY SHIFT VERY ROUGH BETWEEN 2 OF THE GEARS, NOT EXACTLY SURE WHICH ONES. VEHICLE INTERMITTENTLY THROUGH ITSELF INTO NEUTRAL WHILE DRIVING. THE ABOVE INCIDENTS WERE INTERMITTENT UNTIL THE FOLLOWING INCIDENT OCCURRED. BEFORE LEAVING FOR THE DAY, ATTEMPTED TO START VEHICLE. PARKING BRAKE LIGHT BEGAN TO FLASH AND MESSAGE DISPLAYED VARIOUS SERVICE WARNINGS. VEHICLE WOULD NOT START OR GO INTO GEAR. REMOVED BATTERY CABLE TO ATTEMPT A RESET OF WHATEVER THE UNDERLYING ISSUE IS. WAITED SOME TIME AND RECONNECTED BATTERY CABLE, NO EFFECT. AFTER TRYING FOR SOME TIME THE VEHICLE STARTED NORMALLY. AFTER THIS INCIDENT THE ONCE INTERMITTENT ISSUES BEGAN TO OCCUR FREQUENTLY. VERY ROUGH SHIFTING, FAR BEYOND WHAT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED NORMAL. CAR BEGAN TO THROW ITSELF INTO NEUTRAL WHEN REVERSING OR DRIVING ON PUBLIC ROADS NORMALLY. LOUD UNNATURAL, (SOUNDS LIKE ITS HAVING A VERY HARD TIME COMPLETING THE NORMAL MECHANICAL MOTION) CLUNK CAN BE HEARD MUCH LOUDER THEN WHAT IT SHOULD BE. AFTER THIS CONTINUED WHILE TRYING TO COMPLETE A NORMAL WORKDAY COMMUTE THE VEHICLE WENT INTO AND STAYED IN 2ND OR 3RD GEAR(BASED ON SPEED THRESHOLD). BEGAN TO RESEARCH RECALLS, A MAJOR RECALL FOR THESE EXACT ISSUES WAS ISSUED AND THE DEALER LISTED ONE OF THEM AS COMPLETE BASED ON 'INSPECTION' INSTEAD OF REPLACING A MAJOR COMPONENT WITH THE ISSUE, THE TRANSAXEL ASSEMBLY. ALL OF THE ISSUES OCCURRING COINCIDE WITH THIS AND ONE OTHER RECALL. THE OTHER RECALL WAS LISTED AS 'REPAIRED'. EITHER THE RECALLS WERE NOT COMPLETED OR THE REPAIRS AND INSPECTION ARE NOT SUFFICIENT.
