Put a full tank of gas in car and when I got home I noticed that there was a fuel leak on the tank
After getting a tune-up, the car now runs worse than it did before, the car idles with a very intense vibration, I took it to a local mechanic who informed me that this model has a recall on the Electronic throttle control and for me to take the car back to where I had the tune-up done. I have an appointment on Monday the 13.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE LOCAL DEALER STEW HANSEN DODGE RAM CHRYSLER JEEP FIAT (12103 HICKMAN RD, URBANDALE, IA 50323, (877) 841-4585) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH NEEDING THE OIL FUEL ADAPTOR TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT UNDER RECALL. THERE WAS NO ASSISTANCE PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 75,000.
WE REPLACED A FUEL INJECTOR ON THE 2ND CYLINDER LAST FEBRUARY IN OUR CHRYSLER 2015 200S. WE BOUGHT IT BRAND NEW. HERE IT IS 11 MONTHS LATER WE ARE REPLACING THE FUEL INJECTOR ON THE 6TH CYLINDER. I TALK WITH SOMEONE AT FCA AND HE GAVE ME THE RUN AROUND, REFERRING ME TO WARRANTIES AND NOT REALLY TRYING TO HELP AND OF COURSE DENYING THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE FUEL INJECTORS IN THAT PARTICULAR CAR. I KNOW THERE CAN BE ISSUES WITH INJECTORS IF YOU DO NOT SERVICE THEM, WHICH WE GOT THE SERVICE, BUT SHORTING OUT; THERE IS A PROBLEM. THE CAR IS 5 YEARS OLD AND SHOULDN'T HAVE FUEL INJECTOR PROBLEMS; SHORTING OUT ESPECIALLY. ANYONE ELSE HAVING THIS ISSUE?

MY CAR KEEPS CUTTING OFF WHILE DRIVING. FOR THE PAST 2 WEEKS I START MY CAR LET IT RUN FOR 5 MINUTES. THEN WHILE I'M DRIVING IT CUTS OFF. TODAY IT CUT OFF 12-15 TIMES.

THE CAR STALLS AND SHUTS OFF ANY TIME THE GAS TANK IS FILLED UP. THE TYPE OF GAS DOES NOT PREVENT THE SITUATION. THE ONLY WAY TO AVOID THE ISSUE IS TO NOT FILL THE TANK COMPLETELY. IT DOESN'T HAPPEN RIGHT AWAY 100% OF THE TIME. IT'S HAPPENED AFTER I'VE PULLED AWAY FROM THE GAS PUMP AND REENTERED THE HIGHWAY. WHEN THIS HAPPENS, I HAVE TO PLACE VEHICLE IN PARK AND RESTART IT. AGAIN THIS IS 100% OF THE TIME WHEN I FILL MY GAS TANK. TODAY, I WAS ALMOST HIT BY ONCOMING TRAFFIC WHEN MY CAR STALLED. I"M VERY AFRAID. I'M USING TODAY'S DATE BUT THIS HAS BEEN A REOCCURRING PROBLEM.
CAR HESITATES WHILE DRIVING. YOU CAN FEEL IT HARD SHIFT IN 5TH GEAR. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT COMES RANDOMLY ON SHOWING CODE FOR A MIS-FIRE IN CYLINDER 5. TOOK TO DEALERSHIP AND HAD FIXED (SUPPOSEDLY) AND NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY. CAR STILL CONTINUES TO MISFIRE AND SURGE IN 5TH GEAR. HAD MECHANIC CHANGE OUT ALL SPARK PLUGS BUT THE COMPUTER STILL READS MISFIRE. EVERY OTHER GEAR SEEMS FINE. CAR IDLES ROUGH WHILE STOPPED AND IF YOU LET FOOT OFF THE BRAKE IT SHAKES LIKE ITS GOING TO FALL TO PIECES. I'VE OWNED THE CAR FOR JUST OVER A YEAR AND ITS SPENT MORE TIME IN THE SHOP OR SITTING THAN I'VE BEEN ABLE TO DRIVE.

"CEL: DRIVABILITY/ CHECK ENGINE LIGHT PERFORM DTC INSPECTION, SMOKE TEST,TIGHTENED GAS CAP AND RAN PRESSURE TEST, PASSED" AND I WAS GOOD TO GO. THEN IN SEPTEMBER THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT AN GAS CAP LIGHT CAN ON AGAIN SO I WENT BACK TO THE COLLIERVILLE CHRYSLER SERVICE DEPARTMENT ON 9-12-2017, THEY DID THE SAME CHECK AS ABOVE EXCEPT THEY SAID I NEEDED TO REPLACE THE GAS CAP SO I PAID FOR A NEW GAS CAP. THEN 2 DAYS LATER THE SAME THING HAPPEN AGAIN SO I CALLED THEM AND GOT THE RUN AROUND. SO AFTER RIDING AROUND WITH THE LIGHTS ON FOR WEEKS I DECIDED TO GO BACK ON 10-09-2017 TO SEE IF THEY GET THIS RESOLVED. COLLIERVILLE CHRYSLER SERVICE DEPARTMENT TOOK THE CAR AND SAID THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM. THEN 2 DAYS LATER IT HAPPEN AGAIN THE GAS CAP LIGHT AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. IT MUST BE A PROBLEM WITH THE CAR. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. MY CAR WAS ALWAYS IN MOTION EVERY TIME THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT/ GAS CAP LIGHT CAME ONW.

THE VEHICLE STALLED VARIOUS TIMES AND FAILED TO SHIFT INTO NEUTRAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL PUMP HAD BAD FUEL. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 4,000.
STARTING BACK IN JANUARY I HAVE HAD MY ENGINE LIGHT COME ON 5 TIMES ALL FOR A "FUEL ISSUES", ACCORDING TO THEM. I HAVE HAD THE ESIM SWITCHED TWICE NOW AS OF JUNE 2015. THE CAR DOES NOT GET THE MILES PER GALLON AS STATED, I BELIEVE BECAUSE OF THESE ISSUES AND TRANSMISSION ISSUES. MY ENGINE LIGHT WENT OFF AGAIN ON AUG 23, BUT THIS TIME IT WAS FOR A UPDATE THEN IT LEAD TO NEEDING A NEW TRANSMISSION. THIS PARTICULAR VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP 15 TIMES NOW FOR VARIOUS ISSUES SINCE PURCHASE IN SEPT 14' AND GOING BACK IN AGAIN IN A COUPLE DAYS.
I'M DRIVING A FRIEND TO THE STORE AND THE CAR JUST STALLS OUT LIKE ITS OUT OF GAS ON THE ATTEMPTED RESTART IT HAD SOUND EXACTLY LIKE IT IS OUT OF GAS,I THEN CALL ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE FOR A TOW AND THEY SEND A SERVICE THAT WAS NOT EQUIP TO TOW THIS CAR SINCE IT HAS STOPPED,WE COULD NOT GET IT IN NEUTRAL TO LOAD IT ON THE FLAT BED.THE DRIVER THEN SUGGEST THAT I CALL A SERVICE WITH DOLLIES TO PUT UNDER EACH WHEEL SINCE THE CAR IS AN ALL WHEEL DRIVE MODEL,AFTER ANOTHER TOW TRUCK WAS CAR WITH THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT, IT IS THEN TOWED TO THE NEAREST CHRYSLER DEALER NOT TO WHERE I HAD PURCHASED THE VEHICLE, CHRYSLERS ROADSIDE WOULD ONLY TOW IT 14 MILES, MY DEALERSHIP WAS 6 MILES OVER THE LIMIT,AFTER 2DAYS I WAS TOLD NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH THE CAR AND THAT I COULD COME GET IT,WELL ON THE WAY HOME IT STALLED AGAIN IN THE SAME MANNER THIS TIME I AFTER A LITTLE WAIT IT STARTED,AND A BLOCK FROM MY HOME IT STALLED AGAIN!!,I THEN CALLED MY DEALERSHIP THEY WERE VERY GOOD,A LOT BETTER THAN CHRYSLER'S ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE AND A LOT BETTER THAN THE OTHER DEALERSHIP IN TERMS OF REALIZING. THAT THERE WAS A SERIOUS PROBLEM AT FIRST THEY THOUGHT IT WAS THE ECU BUT THAT WAS LAST WEEK IT APPARENTLY WAS NOT AND NOW IT IS GOING ON 2WEEKS SINCE I'VE BEEN WITHOUT MY CAR, THEY DID SUPPLY ME WITH A LOAN CAR BUT THEY ARE STILL SCRATCHING THEIR HEADS AS TO WHY MY CAR KEEPS STALLING I THINK I MAY HAVE A LEMON.... *TR
