TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 55-60 MPH THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT ANY WARNING. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO RESTART THE VEHICLE SEVERAL TIMES WITH POLICE ASSISTANCE HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO (ALL STAR DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP LOCATED AT 4600 CANYON DR, AMARILLO, TX 79109) HOWEVER, THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED NOR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 58,000.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, THE VEHICLE STARTED TO OVERHEAT. THE VEHICLE WAS DRIVEN TO NEW SMYRNA CHRYSLER, 2555 STATE ROAD 44, NEW SMYRNA BEACH, FL 32168, WHERE IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE VEHICLE HAD A BLOWN HEAD GASKET. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE REPAIRS WOULD BE AN OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE ENGINE WAS PREVIOUSLY REPLACED BY BENNETT CHRYSLER, DODGE, RAM, 1491 HWY 40 EAST, KINGSLAND, GA 31548, IN OCTOBER OF 2019. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED A SECOND TIME. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND A COMPLAINT WAS FILED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 75,000.
THE ENGINE TURNED OFF WHILE I WAS DRIVING AND THE POWER STEERING QUIT WORKING. THE SCREEN ALERTERTED ME TO PUT THE CAR INTO PARK. I PUT THE CAR IN PARK AND WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE ENGINE.
CARS TIPN NEEDS REPLACED AFTER 35,000 MILES. CAR INITIALLY SET ALL DASH LIGHTS OFF, ONE FRONT AND ONE REAR LED LIGHT REMAINED ON EVEN AFTER KEY WAS TAKEN OUT AND NEVER WENT OUT LEADING TO DEAD BATTERY. THE CAR DIED ON ME WHILE DRIVING IT ABOUT 20MPH AS I WAS ATTEMPTING TO PULL OUT ONTO ROADWAY CAUSING NEAR ACCIDENT. BEEN WITHOUT A CAR FOR LAST 3 WEEKS WHILE TRYING TO GET DIAGNOSIS AND REPAIR. TOTAL COST FROM GOING TO SEVERAL REPAIR SHOPS TO GET DIAGNOSIS AND PART TO REPLACE IT IS ESTIMATED TO COST $1500-2000 WHICH I CANT AFFORD. I AM MAKING PAYMENTS ON A CAR THAT I CANT EVEN DRIVE. I AM A COLLEGE STUDENT AND THIS WAS MY FIRST PURCHASE OF A CAR WITH MY OWN MONEY. THIS PART NEEDS TO BE RECALLED. I HAVE READ MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS WITH THE SAME ISSUE . ONE CHRYSLER REPAIR SHOP MADE COMMENT THAT HE WAS SURPRISED THEY HAVENT HAD A RECALL ON THAT PART DUE TO ALL THE ONES HE HAS SEEN NEEDING REPLACED. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED AND CHRYSLER NEEDS TO BE ACCOUNTABLE.
ERROR THROTTLE CONTROL SHUTS OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC
VEHICLE CONTINOUSLY STALLS "SHUTS OFF" WHILE DRIVING THIS HAS HAPPENED NUMEROUS TIMES, I'VE HAD MY VEHICLE TOWED TO THE CAR DEALERSHIP AND THEN THE CAR STARTS UP AGAIN AND THE MECHANIC STATES THEY CAN'T DIAGNOSE THE ISSUE UNLESS IT HAPPENS AT THE SHOP... THIS IS VERY DANGEROUS SEEING THAT WHEN I'M DRIVING IT'S TURNING OFF SUDDENLY WITHOUT WARNING SOMEONE IS GOING TO BE KILLED WITH THIS TYPE OF MALFUNCTION.... WOULD HAVE TO LOOK AT MY RECEIPT FOR THE FIRST INCIDENT, HOWEVER IT HAS STARTED AGAIN

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO (DAYTONA DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM & FIAT 1450 N TOMOKA FARMS RD SUITE A, DAYTONA BEACH, FL 32124: (386) 274-0571) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION MODULE AND SOFTWARE NEEDED TO BE UPDATED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED HOWEVER THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED BUT NO FURTHER ASSISTANCE WAS PROVIDED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,000.
WHEN DECELERATING AT EITHER A RED LIGHT OR TO TURN, CAR WILL COMPLETELY SHUT OFF WITH NO WARNINGS OR CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS. THIS STARTED ALMOST A MONTH AGO. THEN TODAY EVERYTHING LOCKED UP. ALL ELECTRICAL LIGHTS CAME ON ALONG WITH THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. THERE WAS NO POWER WHEN TRYING TO GET THE VEHICLE BACK HOME. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOWED.
AIR BAGS LIGHTS COMES ON INDICATING THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE PASSENGER SEAT. IT HAS ONLY CAME ON AFTER I HAVE HAD A PASSENGER IN THE PASSENGER SEAT AND ON MY INSTRUMENT PANEL THERE'S A RED WARNING LIGHT THAT THAT AIR BAG IS NOT OPERATIONAL ACCORDING TO THE DEALERSHIP AT JEFF WYLER EAST GATE IN BATAVIA OHIO 45102 513-7523447. I ALSO HAD TO PUT THE SAME 200 S IN THE SHOP FOR A MASSIVE OIL LEAK THAT ONCE I NOTICED IT AND THEN HAD IT CHECKED BY A CHRYSLER SERVICE ADVISOR THERE WAS NO OIL IN THE 3.6 L ENGINE AND I WAS TOLD IT WAS A COMMON ISSUE WITH THE 3.6L ENGINE THAT THERE WAS A TSB OR SOMETHING ON IT SO I DROPPED IT OF AT THE ABOVE MENTIONED LOCATION TO FIND OUT MY WARRANTY WOULD COVER THE PROBLEM THAT IT WAS THE OIL COOLER CRACKED AND I WOULD HAVE TO PAY THE $200 LIFETIME WARRANTY I HAD ON THE CAR. THE OTHER ISSUE WAS THERE'S A ENGINE LIGHT ON THAT INDICATED THAT THE COOLING SYSTEM WAS MALFUNCTIONING WHICH I HAD MENTIONED TO THE DEALER WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR OR THE SWEET BUNGENT ODOR THAT I SMELLED COMING OUT OF MY VENTS AT 5 MILES WHEN I BOUGHT IT I WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD GO AWAY BY 50 MILES ON MY ODOMETER AND NOW AT 66700 IT'S BACK AND WAS NOTICE BY THE DISCOUNT TIRE SHOP TELL ME THEY SMELLED A STRONG COOLENT LEAK AND I MENTIONED IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME MORE MONEY TO FIND IF THERE WAS A ISSUE THAT THAT HAD ALREADY TOLD ME WAS THERE AFTER I BOUGHT THE CAR AT 5 MILES AND WOULD GO AWAY AT 50 ! TO BE HONEST I JUST BELIEVE I GOT USE TO IT!!!
THE CAR HAS TO MUCH TORQUE THAT THE VEHICLE SLIDES AND LOSES CONTROL AND ALMOST CAUSED AN ACCIDENT. THE STEERING IS TO LOSE WHEN I TURN IT MOVES TO QUICK AND THE MOVEMENT OF THE VEHICLE CAN'T CATCH UP.
CAR HAS SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING LAST FEW WEEKS. IT HAPPENED. AS SOON AS I TURNED ONTO A ROAD, GOING 20-30 MPH, IT HAS HAPPENED WHILE TRYING TO MERGE ONTO THE FREEWAY. THE CAR JUST STALLS, SAYS "PLACE IN P TO START" AND THEN DIES. THE GEARSHIFT AND WHEEL LOCK UP AND YOU HAVE TO TURN THE CAR OFF AND ATTEMPT TO RESTART. EACH TIME I HAD TO TRY AT LEAST 3 TIMES TO GET THE CAR RESTARTED. ALL LIGHTS COME ON DASH, BATTERY LIGHT INCLUDED, BUT HAD BATTERY CHECKED AND IT IS FINE. TRYING TO RESTART, IT DOESN'T WANT TO TURN OVER. THIS HAS HAPPENED WITH SEVERAL CARS BEHIND ME AND HAVE ALMOST BEEN REAR ENDED BECAUSE OF IT. TOOK IT TO THE DEALSHIP BUT, ALL THEY TOLD ME TO DO WAS TRACK MY OIL CHANGES BUT, THE PROBLEM STILL REMAINS.
VEHICLE WENT IN FOR AN AIRBAG LIGHT TWICE RIGHT BEFORE THE EXTENDED WARRANTY EXPIRED AT 75K MILES. THE DEALERSHIP CLAIMS TO HAVE REPLACED A WIRING HARNESS UNDER THE PASSENGER SEAT BOTH TIMES. JUST SLIGHTLY OVER 75K MILES, THE LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN. THIS TIME THEY ADVISED THE WHOLE WIRING SYSTEM NEEDS REPLACED AND THAT IT WON'T BE COVERED. GOT IN TOUCH WITH CHRYSLER DIRECTLY WHO STATED THEY ARE WILLING TO ONLY PAY FOR THE $1200+ PART BUT THAT I WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR APPROXIMATELY $400 IN LABOR. VEHICLE WAS IN MOTION EACH TIME THE LIGHT CAME ON. TYPICALLY WHEN ENCOUNTERING A SLIGHT BUMP ON THE INTERSTATE. SAFFORD JEEP CHRYSLER RAM IN WINCHESTER VA IS THE DEALERSHIP THE VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED NEW AND CONTINUED SERVICE AT THE SAME LOCATION. THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN FOR 2 WEEKS NOW AND CURRENTLY THERE AT THIS TIME. ACCORDING TO A BRIEF INTERNET SEARCH, THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON COMPLAINT YET NO RECALLS HAVE BEEN ISSUED. IF THIS CAN BE SETTLED IN ANY MANNER, I RESPECTFULLY REQUEST THAT CHRYSLER PROVIDE A REFUND FOR WHAT I'M ABOUT TO PAY TO GET MY VEHICLE BACK UP AND RUNNING.
VEHICLE SHUT OFF WHILE RUNNING ON MAJOR HIGHWAY. IMMEDIATELY TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A DEALERSHIP WHO TOLD ME IT WAS DUE TO LACK OF OIL ALTHOUGH WE PERFORM ROUTINE OIL CHANGES. THIS IS VERY UNSAFE AND CHRYSLER DOESN'T WANT TO ASSIST ME WITH THIS ISSUE.
I TOOK MY 2016 CHRYSLER AND IT HAD 66,000 MILES AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THE OIL COOLER WAS OUT AND IT WAS A KNOWN REPAIR TO THE VEHICLE AND I'VE BEEN SMELLING LIKE OIL BURNING THROUGH THE AIR VENTS ON THE CAR AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULDN'T COVER IT BUT I ASKED HIM I SAID WELL YOU SAY YOU REPAIR THESE AND IT'S UNKNOWN PROBLEM WITH THESE CARS THAT THE OIL COOLER FAILS AND IT LEAKS IN THE VALLEY PAN UNDERNEATH THE ENGINE SO YOU MAY NOT SEE THE LEAGUE FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD AND YOU MAY NOT KNOW IT'S EVEN LEAKING UNTIL IT BUILDS UP SO HEAVY UNDERNEATH THAT VALLEY P.M. UNDER THE ENGINE AND YOU MAY BE COMPLETELY OUT OF OIL IN THE CAR RUNNING WITHOUT OIL GETTING BAD GAS MILEAGE MY CAR IS A 2016 CHRYSLER 200 S V6 3.6
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2016 CHRYSLER 200. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE LEAKED TRANSMISSION FLUID AND WOULD INTERMITTENTLY STALL WHILE TRAVELING OVER 40 MPH. IN ADDITION, THE TRACTION WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER AND DEALER WERE NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 65,647.
AS I WAS DRIVING I STARTED TO SMELL SOMETHING BURNING ONE OF MY CHILDREN BEGAN TO COUGH AS I LOOKED BACK AT HIM AND THEN OUT THE WINDSHIELD AGAIN I SEEN SMOKE COMING FROM THE HOOD AREA SO I IMMEDIATELY PULLED OFF THE RODE AND GOT BOTH OF MY CHILDREN OUT OF THE CAR AS WE MOVED AWAY FROM THE CAR THE SMOKE BEGAN TO GET THICKER AND THE NEXT THING THAT HAPPENED WAS MY CAR WAS UP IN FLAMES. NO LIGHTS ON THE DASHBOARD CAME ON THE TEMPERATURE OF THE CAR WAS NORMAL NO ALARMS GOING OFF ON CAR BEFORE OR WHILE CAR WAS SMOKING. I WAS ON A CITY STREET
THE SENSOR THAT IS UNDER THE PASSENGER SEAT, SIGNALLING THAT AN INDIVIDUAL IS SITTING IN THE SEAT, HAS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED BY THE DEALERSHIP TWICE NOW AS A CONNECTION BECOMES LOOSE AND WILL DIS-ATTACH. THIS WILL ALERT MY CAR TO SERVICE AIRBAGS
AIRBAG LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON. BOUGHT THE CAR USED FROM A DEALERSHIP IN JUNE 2019. VIN # IS NOT ON A RECALL LIST FOR TAKATA AIRBAGS. THE CAR IS AT COLLEGE, OUT OF STATE, WITH MY GRANDDAUGHTER. THE LOCAL CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP IN HER AREA WILL NOT FIX THE AIRBAG PROBLEM FOR FREE BECAUSE THE VIN # IS NOT ON A RECALL LIST. I'M AT A LOSS SINCE THE COST OF REPAIR IS HIGH. I LIVE ON SOCIAL SECURITY & SHE IS GOING TO SCHOOL ON SCHOLARSHIPS. DOES SHE HAVE TO BE INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT AND POSSIBLY BE HURT BEFORE CHRYSLER WILL REPAIR THE AIRBAG PROBLEM-FREE? THE DESCRIPTION FOR THIS PROBLEM SAYS THE AIRBAG MAY NOT DEPLOY IF THERE IS AN ACCIDENT. HOW DO I KNOW IF THE CAR SHOULD BE ON A RECALL LIST? THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THE LIGHT HAS COME ON. THE CAR HAS BEEN IN MOTION, ON A CITY STREET AND ON THE HIGHWAY WHEN THE PROBLEM OCCURS. THE LATEST OCCURRENCE WAS ON OR ABOUT THE DATE LISTED BELOW AND THE AIRBAG LIGHT IS STILL ON.
I AM ASKING YOU TO ISSUE A SAFETY RECALL ON MY VEHICLE. YOU INVESTIGATED THE 2015 MODEL FOR THE SAME ISSUE AND IT WAS RECALLED AS A RESULT. THE 2016 IS JUST AS DANGEROUS. IS THERE A REASON WHY THE LIVES OF PEOPLE WHO DRIVE 2015 MODELS ARE MORE VALUABLE THAN MINE OR MY CHILDREN? IT TURNS OFF WHILE DRIVING WITH NO WARNING AND LEAVES ME IN THE MIDDLE OF INTERSECTIONS! THE STEERING CUTS OFF TOO. I HAVE TO FIRST STRUGGLE TO CONTROL THE STEERING, SHIFT INTO PARK, PUSH START, AND WAIT, WHILE I BRACE MYSELF FOR THE IMPACT THAT IS ABOUT TO SHATTER MY SPINE OR KILL MY CHILDREN! IT BEGAN AS SOON AS I HIT 60K MILES A FEW WEEKS AGO AND HAPPENS EVERY TIME I DRIVE IT. IT HAPPENS MOSTLY WHEN I AM TURNING, SOMETIMES WHEN BRAKING FOR A LIGHT, AND SOMETIMES IT DOESN'T ACTUALLY TURN OFF, IT JUST SEEMS LIKE IT IS SUDDENLY IN NEUTRAL AND MAKES REVVING SOUNDS WHEN I HIT GAS BUT WONT GO, THAT'S WHEN MESSAGE SAYS 'SERVICE TRANSMISSION'. I WAS MAKING A U TURN AND ALMOST HIT A POLE! IT MAY START UP WITH FIRST TRY, OR A FEW TRIES. IT HASN'T HAPPENED IN HIGH SPEEDS ON HIGHWAY BUT THAT MAY BE BECAUSE I AM TOO AFRAID TO GO THAT ROUTE ANYMORE. OBVIOUSLY THIS IS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT. I PAID CASH FOR THIS VEHICLE AND SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY A PENNY TO FIX THIS, BUT IF I OR MINE ARE INJURED I WILL SPEND EVERY CENT I HAVE ON A LAWSUIT. IVE HAD A CHRYSLER BEFORE. I SUSPECTED THE NEWER MODEL TO BE IMPROVED... UNFORTUNATELY FOR ME ITS JERKING LIKE THE OLDER MODEL AFTER HAVING TUNE UPS DONE TWICE. ALSO ITS GOING DEAD WHEN I TURN LEFT AND GIVING ME A MESSAGE (PERFORMANCE SHIFT DISABLED) TO PUT IT IN PARK AND TURN IT BACK ON. THE BAD PART IS IM ALWAYS ENTERING AN BUSY INTERSTATE. ITS BEEN DOING THIS NOW FOR TWO WEEKS. THE JERKING OF THE VEHICLE IS WAY TO FAMILIAR TO ME. MY LAST CHRYSLER ONCE IT STARTED IT GOT WORST AND WORST AS WAS UNABLE TO DRIVE THEN I FOUND OUT ABOUT THE RECALL ON THE VEHICLE.

MY CAR SHUTS OFF WHILE RUNNING AND TELLS ME TO SWITCH TO PARK. THE STEERING WHEEL AND BREAKS LOCK UP. THIS HAPPENS MID DRIVE OR WHEN I TURN A CORNER AND IS VERY DANGEROUS. I HAD THIS SAME PROBLEM ON MY 2015 CHRYSLER 200 AND NOW I AM HAVING THE SAME ISSUE WITH MY 2016 CHRYSLER. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED THIS IS A MANUFACTURER ISSUE.
I HAVE A 2016 CHRYSLER 200 AND OF YOU ARE A QUART LOW THE VEHICLE HAS A SENSOR WHICH TELLS THE VEHICLE TO SHUT OFF IT DON'T MATTER WE'RE YOU ARE AT AND YOU CAN ONLY GO 1800 TO 2000 MILES TILL IT BURNS THAT QUART OFF SO WHEN THE VEHICLE DIES THE POWER STEERING IS TURNED OFF AND THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKS SO THERE IS NO WAY TO GET OFF THE ROAD YOU HAVE TO STOP THE CAR AND PUT IN PARK TO START AGAIN I CALLED THE MANUFACTURER AND THEY TOLD ME THAT MEANS SO SAFTY IS WORKING PROPERLY SO THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING BUT TO ME THAT SEEMS LIKE A SAFTY HAZARD TO ANYONE IN THE CAR TO GET REAR ENDED OR IN A INTERSECTION
I BOUGHT MY CAR IN SEPTEMBER 2019 AROUND 25000 MILES. IN OCTOBER THE SERVICE AIRBAG LIGHT CAME ON . I TOOK IT TO CHRYSLER AND JEEP WHO CHARGED OVER $3300 TO FIX . THEY SAID THEY TALKED TO CHRYSLER WHO WOULD COVER $3000 AND I HAD TO PAY THE $300. I DID THAT AND THE LIGHT IS BACK ON. IT POPS UP EVER COUPLE MINUTES WHILE I'M DRIVING AND IT DOESN'T MATTER IF I'M GOING 15 MPH OR 60 MPH.
HAD TO REPLACE BATTERY A MONTH AGO. WENT TO LEAVE AND CAR WOULD NOT START. HAD TO GET A JUMP FROM KY DAUGHTER TO TAKE TO HAVE BATTERY TESTED. BAD BATTERY! AND NOW FUEL PUMP HAS A SHORT IN IT. DRIVING CAR AND STALLED AND SAID PUT INTO PARK. STUCK IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD UNTIL TOW TRUCK CAME.

MY CAR IS STRUGGLING WITH STARTING. MULTIPLE TIMES IT HAS LEFT ME STRANDED. FIRST TRIP TO DEALERSHIP, THEY STATED IT NEEDED A COMPUTER UPDATE. THE PROBLEM GOT WORSE AFTER THE COMPUTER UPDATE AND BEGIN HAPPENING MORE AND MORE OFTEN. GIVES ME A "SERVICE TRANSMISSION" MESSAGE. IT'S ONLY AT 67,000 MILES AND I HAVENT OWNED IT A YEAR. VERY FRUSTRATED. IT IS GOING BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP TOMORROW!

CAR SUDDENLY DIED IN TRAFFIC AND WOULDN'T START BACK. CAR HAS 66K MILES. AFTER GETTING A JUMP WE GOT CAR HOME AND HOOKED BATTERY TO A CHARGER. NEXT TIME I WENT TO DRIVE IT IT DIED AGAIN AND I WAS ABLE TO GET IT STARTED BACK BUT THE INSTRUMENT PANEL BLINKS ON AND OFF AND ALL OF THE WARNING LIGHTS START GOING ON AND OFF. CURRENTLY UNABLE TO DRIVE IT BECAUSE IT WILL JUST DIE WHILE DRIVING AND WITH INSTRUMENT PANEL BLINKING IT DOESN'T SHOW ACCURATE SPEED. PLEASE RECALL THIS CAR BEFORE IT KILLS SOMEONE!

CAN ONLY START WITH A CHARGE ONCE CHARGE REMOVED CAR DOESN'T START. THE CAR WAS STATIONARY. I RECENTLY FOUND OUT THAT THE CAR WAS ON THE RECALL LIST, BUT I NEVER RECEIVED NOTIFICATION FROM THE CAR COMPANY.

THE MECHANIC STATED THAT WITHIN THE PAST MONTH HE HAS RECEIVED SEVERAL VEHICLE OF THIS MAKE AND MODEL THAT HAVE HAD DEFECTIVE PASSENGER AIR BAGS. ON THIS PARTICULAR VEHICLE, THE PASSENGER SIDE AIR BAG'S JUMPER HARNESS BECOMES DISABLED WHICH DEEMS THE AIR BAG INEFFECTIVE IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT. THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATED ON THE VEHICLE WHICH LED THE OWNER TAKE THE VEHICLE TO BE SERVICED. AFTER HAVING THE FRONT PASSENGER SEAT WIRING HARNESS REPLACED, THE SERVICE AIR BAG NOTIFICATION IS ONCE AGAIN REOCCURRING ON THIS VEHICLE. THE CODE IS AGAIN INDICATING AN ISSUE WITH THE PASSENGER SEAT WIRING. THIS PROBLEM APPEARS TO BE QUITE COMMON WITH 2015/2016 CHRYSLER 200S!
I SMELLED SOMETHING BURNING WHILE I WAS DRIVING AND MY AC STOPPED WORKING FORTUNATELY I WASN'T FAR AWAY FROM HOME. I PULLED IN MY DRIVEWAY AND LOOKED UNDER THE HOOD AND NOTICED THAT WHERE THE AC COMPRESSOR WAS MELTING THE AC COMPRESSOR CLUTCH POTENTIALLY CAUSE A FIRE OR OTHER HAZARDS,
TAKATA RECALL. AFTER I REACHED 64,000 MILES MAY VEHICLE TURNED OFF WHILE DRIVING TO WORK. IT TOOK AT LEAST 5 TIMES FOR THE MOTOR TO TURN OVER. AS SOON AS POWER WAS RESTORED BATTERY LIGHT CAME ON. NOW THE BATTERY LIGHT IS OFF BUT THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON. SINCE THEN I HAVE TAKEN THE CAR TO MY LOCAL MECHANIC AND WAS TOLD IT WAS THE BATTERY. I'VE HAD MY BATTERY TESTED AND THAT'S NOT THE PROBLEM. THERE NOW S A MAJOR ELECTRICAL ISSUE THAT IS WRONG. I HAVE TRIED TO DRIVE MY CAR SINCE AND IT CONTINUES TO TURN OFF. THIS IS ONLY NOT A HAZARD TO MYSELF BUT TO OTHERS THAT ARE DRIVING BECAUSE IT ABRUPTLY STOPS IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC. CHRYSLER I NEED YOU TO INVESTIGATE THIS ISSUE.
