TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHRYSLER 300. WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, ANOTHER VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE OF THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE AT 65 DEGREE ANGLE. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT CRASHED INTO A CONCRETE BARRIER. THE AIR BAGS FAILED TO DEPLOY. THE CONTACT SUSTAINED BACK AND UPPER SHOULDER INJURIES THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE PASSENGER ALSO SUSTAINED INJURIES TO THE NECK AND BACK, AS WELL AS A HEAD CONCUSSION THAT REQUIRED MEDICAL ATTENTION. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED AND TOWED TO A COLLISION LOT. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 15V313000 (AIR BAGS). THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 191,000.
LOW OIL LEVELS, OIL LIGHT AND CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ALWAYS ON. KEPT TAKING THE CAR IN TO HAVE IT CHECKED, WE WERE TOLD NOTHING WAS WRONG, JUST KEEP ADDING OIL. THAT MADE NO SENSE AS THERE HAD TO BE A REASON FOR THIS. WAS FINALLY DIAGNOSED AS OIL SLUDGE AND ENGINE WAS DESTROYED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. ALSO, BECAUSE IT CAUSED THE LIGHTS TO BE ON FOR SO LONG, I NOW NEED TO HAVE THE COMPUTER REPLACED THAT CONTROLS THE SENSORS FOR THOSE.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHRYSLER 300. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE VEHICLE SHUT DOWN AND LOST ALL POWER WITHOUT WARNING. THE VEHICLE RESTARTED AFTER A WHILE. THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THE VEHICLE AND REPLACED SIXTEEN SPARK PLUGS. THE FAILURE RECURRED AND THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER WHO REPLACED ALL THE SPARK PLUGS AGAIN. THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURES AND ADVISED THE CONTACT TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO A DEALER, AND TO SAVE THE RECEIPTS FOR REIMBURSEMENT IN CASE OF RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER ALSO STATED THAT THERE WERE TWO OPEN RECALLS REGARDING THE AIR BAGS. THE FAILURE WAS NOT REMEDIED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 75,000.
TRANSMISSION GETS STUCK IN PARK AND WONT COME OUT. THE EMERGENCY RELEASE DOES NOT WORK. VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN THE HOME GARAGE HEADED IN. THE SHIFT LINKAGE HAD TO BE RELEASED BY EMERGENCY ROAD SERVICE THAT HAS HAD PRIOR KNOWLEDGE FREEING THE LINKAGE WHEN IT IS STUCK IN PARK. IT COULD NOT BE TOWED OUT OF THE GARAGE OR DAMAGE WOULD HAVE BEEN DONE TO THE TRANSMISSION.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2005 CHRYSLER 300. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT COASTED THE VEHICLE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, PLACED THE GEAR SHIFTER INTO NEUTRAL AND WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER, BUT WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT EITHER THE VALVE OR THE FUEL TANK WITH A NEW VALVE WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE VEHICLE WAS COVERED UNDER AN EXTENDED WARRANTY, BUT THEY DID NOT HAVE THE CAPACITY TO SERVICE THE VEHICLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 147,000. TAKATA RECALL S43 - PASSENGER AIRBAG IT'S BEEN ALMOST A YEAR SINCE THIS RECALL HAS BEEN KNOWN. YET PARTS ARE STILL NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS FIX. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR A DEFECT THAT CAN CAUSE DEATH. IS THERE EVEN A TIME TABLE AS TO WHEN THESE PARTS WILL BE AVAILABLE? THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED SOON.
CAR GEAR STUCK IN PARK. HAVING TOTAKE TO DEALER, VERY STUPID THING TO HAPPEN TO THIS TYPE OF VEHICLE. COST 400.00. WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER CHRYSLER OTHER RECOMMEND ONE TO FAMILY OR FRIENDS. HOW CAN CERTAIN VIN BE RECALLED AND NOT ALL.
VEHICLE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED UP WHILE DRIVING (IN MOTION) LESS THAN 35MPH GOING AROUND A ROUND ABOUT. THE VEHICLE LOCKED UP WHEN ATTEMPTING TO EXIT THE CIRCLE.

TAKATA RECALL- MY ELECTRIC THROTTLE CONTROL SHUT MY ENGINE DOWN WHILE ON THE EXPRESS WAY IN HEAVY TRAFFIC THE GAS PEDAL WOULD NO LONGER ACCELERATE THE CAR. I HAD TO TRY TO GET OVER AND PUT MY HAZARDZ ON. I COULDVE DIED AND IT WAS NIGHT TIME. THIS PART SHOULD BE RECALLED.
FRONT SUSPENSION HAD TO BE REPLACED TWICE. THE FIRST REPAIR WAS WITH OEM PARTS, WHICH FAILED AND HAD TO BE REPLACED AGAIN. THE SECOND REPAIR WE USED MOOG HIGH PERFORMANCE PARTS.

TAKATA RECALL , SO I TAKE CARE OF MY CHRYSLER 300C 5.7 VERY WELL I ALWAYS CHECK THE FLUIDS ON THE COOLENT AND OIL AND CHANGE MY OIL WHEN ITS NEEDED. I WAS RUNNING OUT OF GAS ON THE FREEWAY BARELY MAKING IT TO THE GAS STATION AND I FILLED UP MY GAS TANK, WHEN I TRIED TO STARTING MY CAR IT DIDNT START. MY CAR JUST HESITATED AND I THOUGHT MY BATTERY WAS GOING OUT BUT IT WAS A BRAND NEW ONE AND MY FUEL PUMP WAS CHANGED A FEW MONTHS PRIOR. ALSO I TOOK MY CAR TO GET SERVICED A WEEK PRIOR TOO AT MY LOCAL PEPBOYS AND CHANGED THE OIL PRESSURE SENSOR AT LEAST THATS WHAT THEY TOLD ME WHAT IT WAS. SO MY CAR STARTED IN THE GAS STATION PARKINGLOT AND WHITE SMOKE CAME OUT OF MY EXHAUST AND MY CAR JUST TURNED OFF ON ME. MY CAR IS SITTING NOW COLLECTING DUST BECAUSE IT DROPPED A VALVE DUE TO THE 2005 5.7 HEMI DESIGN. I BELIEVE DODGE AND CHRYSLER KNOW ABOUT THIS MALFUNCTION THATS BOND TO HAPPEN WHETHER YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR ENGINE OR NOT. I DESERVE TO HAVE A RECALL ON MY CAR , IM ALMOST DONE PAYING IT OFF AND ITS NOT MY FAULT THIS HAPPENED TO ME.
TAKATA RECALL. OVER 6 MONTHS AGO, I RECEIVED SAFETY RECALL NOTICE (S43/NHTSA 16V-352) REGARDING AIRBAG INFLATOR RUPTURE ISSUE. I CONTACTED LOCAL DEALER AND WAS TOLD REPAIR PARTS HAD NOT BEEN RECEIVED, SO REPAIR COULD NOT BE PERFORMED. IT IS NOW JANUARY 2017. THE RECALL IS STILL INCOMPLETE, THE REMEDY IS NOT YET AVAILABLE BECAUSE THE PARTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. I AM CONCERNED FOR THE SAFETY OF MYSELF AND MY FAMILY. I WOULD LIKE THE PASSENGER AIRBAG INFLATOR TO BE REPLACED PER THE RECALL.
CAR STALLS WITH NO WARNING OR ENGINE LIGHTS/CODES. WHILE DRIVING(VERY DANGEROUS!!)
INTERIOR OF CAR FILLED WITH SMOKE FROM INSTRUMENT PANEL, WE UNHOOKED BATTERY AND IT STOPPED BUT NOTHING ON INSTRUMENT PANEL WORKS. WE WERE DRIVING CAR WHEN IT HAPPENED
I WENT IN FOR MY RECALL THE NEXT DAY I SEEN THERE WAS SOME LIGHTS ON THE ESP BAS LIGHTS SO I CALLED THEM THEY TOLD ME TO BRING IT IN, THE GUY ON THE RED TEAM ASK ME WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS I TOLD HIM ABOUT THE LIGHTS AND HE ASKED IF I HAD ANY WORK DONE ON THE STEARING I TOLD HIM ABOUT THE AIR BAG RECALL HE SAID THAT WHAT CAUSE IT THEN HE SAID THE GREEN TEAM DID THE WORK SO THAT GUY TOOK MY CAR BACK SAID NO IT DIDN`T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE AIRBAG BEING TAKEN CARE OF BUT THERE MIGHT SOME WIRE CUT I TOLD HIM TO STOP SO HE CHARGED ME $55.00 THEN TOLD ME BUT THE LIGHT IS OFF. I REALLY BELIEVE HE CHARGED ME FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS TO DO WITH THE AIRBAG BECAUSE THE LIGHTS WEREN`T ON UNTIL I HAD THIS DONE .

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTER ASSEMBLY FAILED AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE YEAR OF THE VEHICLE WAS EXCLUDED FROM NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V240000 (POWER TRAIN). THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 165,000.
FOR THE PAST EIGHT-TEN YEARS THEIR HAS BEEN BEEN THIS NOISE/HESITATION AT TIME, WHENEVER I'M IN A BACK UP MOTION AND WHILE TURNING OUT OF MY DRIVE. I FIRST COMPLAINED AT (1,199 MILES ) IN 2008 AT ABC CHRYSLER-JEEP 395 W.MERRICK RD.VALLEY STREAM, NY 11580. (SEE ATTACHED INVOICE #CHC566468). QUEENS NY, 11429 I COMPLAINED AGAIN (SEE ATTACHED INVOICE #CHCS169243). VEHICLE AGAIN WAS CHECKED AND ROAD TESTED. TECH STATED VEHICLE OPERATING AS DESIGNED! NOW ON 3/09/16 DURING MY REGULAR SERVICE AFTER TECH COMPLETED SERVICE AND BACKING VEHICLE OUT OF BAY HE NOTICED THE HESITATION/NOISE WHICH HAS BEEN THEIR ALL THE TIME. HE INFORMED THE ADVISOR THAT A DIAGNNOSTIC NEEDS TO BE DONE TO SEE WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. I AGREED, HE REPORTED THAT THE REAR AXLES/DRIVE NEEEDED TO BE REPLACED AND IF DRIVEN IT MY SEIZE UP. I'VED HAD MY CAR SERVICED BY ONLY THESE TWO DEALERSHIP, AND AFTER SOME( THIRTY SERVICES). SOMEONE NOW IS TELLING ME THAT WHAT I'VE BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT IS NOW A DRIVE/AXLES PROBLEM THAT NO ONE UNTIL NOW HAS PICKED UP.. PLEASE NOTE I'VE BEEN DRIVING THIS CAR WITH THIS PROBLEM STATED ABOVE FOR OVER TEN YEARS (51,152 MILES).

AFTER FILLING UP WITH FUEL ON TAKE OFF FROM STOP LIGHT TWICE CAR DIED WHILE DRIVING AWAY FROM LIGHT INTO TRAFFIC, THEN AGAIN AFTER STOPPING CAR TO RESTART IT. THEN 2 MINUTES LATER MAKING A LEFT TURN CAR MADE A DING NOICE AND DIED AGAIN!!

I AM HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THE WIRELESS IGNITION NODE (WIN) MODULE, WHICH CAN EXHIBIT A BINDING CONDITION OF THE SOLENOID LATCH. IT'S POSSIBLE THAT THE KEY CAN BE REMOVED FROM THE IGNITION SWITCH PRIOR TO PLACING THE SHIFTER IN "PARK," WHICH CAN CAUSE UNINTENDED VEHICLE MOVEMENT. THERE WAS A SAFETY RECALL FOR THE YEAR 2010 MODEL, BUT I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THE 2005. MY CAR WAS STATIONARY. THE DASHLIGHTS WILL NOT GO OFF I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO PULL THE KEY OUT AND THE RADIO WOULD STILL BE PLAYING AFTER I OPENED THE DOOR. I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO REMOVE THE KEY AND THE ENGINE WOULD STILL BE RUNNING. NOW I CAN'T GET THE CAR TO START AT ALL, THE KEY IS NOT ENGAGING BUT THE DASH INSTRUMENT LIGHTS ARE STILL ON, I HAD TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY SO THE BATTERY WOULD NOT LOSE POWER.
