The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that while driving at 69 MPH on the freeway, when the contact attempted to switch lanes and the vehicle spun independently, causing her to collide with another vehicle on the front driver side. The contact mentioned her rear bumper detached from the vehicle. No air bags deployed. The contact did not sustain any injuries. No medical attention was required. The contact vehicle was towed to Emerine's Central Auto and Towing. The contact stated that a police report was filed. The contact stated the vehicle was previously diagnosed by an independent mechanic, and the ABS speed sensor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired prior to the accident, as the ABS speed sensor was replaced. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 141,000.
Possibly a failing axle shaft. Which after researching it is a common problem in this make & model.
This issue has been going on since February 2024. The vehicle will completely shutdown while driving ( no matter what speed I'm going ) it will say SERVICE THE SHIFTER and stop. The first time this happened I took (towed bc vehicle willl have no power since this a SAFTEY issue ) the Vero beach Chrysler dealership the vehicle to Commuter Cars in Port St Lucie which is the dealer I purchased the car from. They kept the vehicle for 2 weeks. I paid 644$ they said they replaced the shifter and that was the problem. 2 weeks later the same thing happened while driving , I took ( towed )the car to Chrysler . Chrysler charge me 200$ and said there was nothing wrong it was the safety recalls. 5 months later it happens again I take the car to Chrysler they charged me 1000$ and said it was some type of connecter . A month later it happens again I (towed) it to chysler they said the ECM shifter module had dried up coffee on it and they wiped it off and its working fine. They charge me 445$ said it needed a battery. Now it has happened again 2 months later and they are just now saying my ECM SHIFTER is bad. The service manager was rude and disrespectful. I have our conversation recorded. I said WHY am I just now knowing this after spending thousands of dollars towing this vehicle back and forth. My son and I could have been in a major accident because the car shuts completely down while driving. They never once check this and the car has been to them 4 times.
The oil filter housing cracks due to the plastic material it is made out of causing immediate loss of oil and disabling vehicle in traffic.
Blend doors keep failing. Keeps switching from cold to hot.
At least 20 times. Driving down the highway doesn't matter if driving straight or cornering. The engine dies. Once I get it stopped. I put it back in park. Restart the engine and it runs. There are no codes, and can't get it to duplicate the problem at the garage. I've searched the internet and this seems to be a continuous problem and no one is finding the problem. From what I've read dealerships are just throwing parts at the problem. This is a safety issue. My daughter was almost rear-ended today.
Car is going crazy key won't work then it will then it won't mover then it won't work wipers stay on even when off all lights go on computer won't get a scan when it's not working it's an electric tcm pcm issue that was a recall for these cars but was told for some reason mine wasn't part of the recall now I'm having issues with that same electric and pcm tcm issue Collin at chrysler customer care told me I had to make a complaint my car is unable to move out of no where greatly hindering me
This will be my 3rd time having this [XXX] Plastic oil filter/cooler housing replaced and this will be 2nd time having done less than a 2yr time-frame... But this time; after getting the oil changed at Walmart today, my car was about to catch on fire from majority of the oil was running done on the passenger side of the car where the transmission sits and burning off of the Hot [XXX] Catalytic Converter! It's [XXX] shame that Chrysler/Mopar had more than enough complaints about this well known Catastrophic Issue and won't take any Accountability for it... That's why Dorman [XXX] and a few more companies had at least stepped up to the plate and created an better version, of the oil filter cooler housing. Not only is it better but is also all aluminum and doesn't warp or become brittle under extreme conditions from atmospheric temperatures nor engine heat! [XXX] which eventually manifest as severe oil and coolant leaks. The number of complaints regarding the Pentastar V6 oil filter housing and cooler assembly is staggering. See them here, at [XXX] . There have been so many complaints – with the OE replacements even, that Chrysler has discontinued the manufacturing of the Pentastar oil filter housing and cooler assembly. Even more surprising is that Chrysler has known about this problem for a long time and has never issued a recall. I was driving on the highway with cruise and my car started to go limp, then started to accelerate without my foot on the gas. Then my check engine light came on and I pulled off and turned the car off and back on. It drove fine but when I went to have it checked they said it threw a code for my TCM. My coworker also drives a Chrysler 300 and had the same issue in the same week! He never got his checked out but his car stopped accelerating and then started again while on cruise. This is happening to a lot of Chryslers so I looked up recalls and it looks like the TCM was recalled in the 2016 300’s but my 2015 and his 2015 is having the same issues
The contact owned a 2015 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that upon pulling out of the driveway and driving downhill, the engine shut off inadvertently, and the vehicle accelerated unintendedly. The brake pedal was depressed but failed to respond, causing the vehicle to crash into a tree. There was no warning light illuminated. The air bags failed to deploy. The contact sustained a bump and soreness on the left knee, and soreness in the neck. The contact received chiropractic assistance. A police report was filed. The vehicle was a towed to a tow yard, where it was totaled. The local dealer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the manufacturer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, and a case was opened. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.
My uconnect radio did a firmware update. And my rear view backup camera, and my satellite radio with my navigation system stopped working. Along with my throttle body error light came up. Also the car was parked in the driveway standing still.
My car has 122,760 miles and has had multiple fuses blow repeatedly. In the last 2wks. Today is 06-21-2023 I can change a fuse and it will blow within 15miles. Also the trim going around my windshield has disintegrated. It literally crumbled into pieces when I touched it. I noticed this almost 3 yrs ago.
Headlight keeps failing. New bulb and worked for a bit then out again. Maybe fuse or wiring issue? Expensive to keep buying bulbs.
The drive shaft broke and had to be replaced. This resulted in lack of stability prior to the break and mobility was comprimised after it broke. The car was repaired at Wayne's Precision and Transmission auto repair in Bumpass, Virginia on November 4th, 2022. The state of Virginia requires annual car inspections which we will have due next June. Symptoms prior to replacement of the drive shaft included clunking/knocking noises from underneath the car when the car was in motion. Modest noises first occured in August, three months prior to replacement, and proressively got worse until replacement was necessary.
Lights in dash blink back and forth between bright and dim. When this happens headlights turn off. This happens frequently. Did not realize until recently that headlights were also affected.

The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the steering wheel failed to turn in the intended direction. The contact stated that the traction control warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the failure had occurred while reversing or while making a turn. In addition, the failure had occurred several times, including once while driving in the rain. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic; however, the failure was not duplicated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. The contact referenced an unknown recall; however, the VIN was not associated. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 32,000. The VIN was unavailable.
Strong fuel Oder in car after fueling. It's been venting in the cabin and it makes you lightheaded after some time of driving. I've checked for leaks and no leaks. I suspect fuel is gathering under rear seats. The smell seems to be most prominent around the rear D/S seat and near the fuel nozzle entry area.
1. Rear differential failed before 100,000 miles. I was driving and I heard something metal fall in the back of the car. I pressed gas but was not able to move. After inspection and call for help, the part that fell on the ground was the rear differential. How can it just fall out while driving? I had to get it towed and repaired by a mobile mechanic. 2. The sunroof switch is faulty. Several times it has gotten stuck and won’t close. If it starts to rain, I have to pull over on the highway, cut the car off and on a few times and press the button until it closes. The sunroof will move forward like it’s going to close but doesn’t; it moves back and forth like it’s stuck on something. 3. The shifter is incredibly rough and hard. It sounds like something falling out of the car every time I shift from park to reverse and back to park. Very loud and the entire car jerks when shifting. There was a previous recall but the problem still persists. I’m afraid something else will fall out while driving.
ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL/ ABS LIGHT/ BRAKE LIGHT.. WHILE DRIVING THE ESC AND ABS POPPED ON TOGETHER, AFTER CRANKING BACK UP THE VEHICLES BRAKE LIGHT APPEARED, SOMETHING IS STOPPING THE VEHICLE FROM DRIVING NORMAL. UPON STOPPING AT RED LIGHTS THE CAR JERKS, ALSO IT SKIDS WHEN MAKING LEFT AND RIGHT HAND TURNS. THE CAR REVS WHEN ACCELERATING BUT THE RPMS ARE REDUCED AS IF IN LIMP MODE. THE CAR IS VERY DANGEROUS TO DRIVE ESPECIALLY TWO LANE HIGHWAYS IT GRAVITATED TOWARDS THE DITCH THIS TIME I JUST COULD TURN THE WHEEL, BECAUSE SOMETIMES THE WHEEL IS VERY HARD TO TURN.
ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS I REFUELED MY VEHICLE WITHOUT TOPPING OFF. A STRONG ODOR OF FUEL CAN BE SMELLED IN THE CABIN OF THE CAR AFTER FUELING WHILE DRIVING AND EVEN MORE WHEN STOPPED AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT. WHEN I PARKED TO INVESTIGATE THE STRONG GASOLINE SMELL, RAW FUEL COULD BE SEEN RUNNING FROM BEHIND THE WHEEL WELL ONTO THE GROUND. I TURNED OFF THE VEHICLE AND WAITED FOR THE FUEL TO STOP HITTING THE GROUND BEFORE STARTING AND DRIVING THE VEHICLE AGAIN. MY CONCERN WAS THE FUEL LEAKING ONTO THE HOT EXHAUST AND CAUSING A FIRE.

THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO LANDMARK CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM FIAT OF ATLANTA (5745 PEACHTREE INDUSTRIAL BLVD, CHAMBLEE, GA 30341, (678) 825-3200) TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE FAILURE WAS RELATED TO A RECALL HOWEVER, THE CONTACT WAS NOT PROVIDED THE NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 82,000.
LOSS POWER ON THE HIGHWAY IN THE PASSING LANE SO I STOPPED AND CHECKED OIL LEVEL. THE OIL WAS LOW AND FOUND I HAD A MAJOR OIL LEAK FROM THE OIL HOUSING. TONS OF FORUMS ONLINE DISCUSSING THE PROBLEM. TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP WHERE THEY HAVE 14 OIL HOUSING KITS THEY ARE WAITING FOR TO FIX CUSTOMERS VEHICLES. THIS IS COSTLY AND SHOULD BE A RECALL ITEM.
VEHICLE INTERMITTENTLY GETS STUCK IN GEAR AND GEAR SHIFT LIGHTS STAY ON
VEHICLE HAS DUEL DRIVER AND PASSENGER CLIMATE CONTROL. DRIVER SIDE WILL NOT SWITCH TO HEAT. I TRIED IT WILL MOVING AND WHILE STATIONARY.
CAR WAS MAKING TERRIBLE NOISE AS IT RAN STATIONED ARE RUNNING SO AFTER HAVING IT LOOKED AT I WAS TOLD IT'S ALL OF MY PULLEIES, THIS CAR HAS LESS THAN 45000 MILES ON IT
VEHICLE STARS BUT WILL NOT MOVE FORWARD OR BACKWARDS, IT ROLLS FORWARD WHEN IN PARK, HAVE TO USE THE EMERGENCY BRAKE TO STOP. CAR WILL NOT ACCELERATE OR REVERSE; IT'S JUST STUCK . HAD IT PHYSICALLY MOVED TO THE HOUSE UNTIL I CAN REPAIR IT
THE ANTI LOCK BREAK AND ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL LIGHTS COME ON. WHEN THIS HAPPENS SPEED CONTROL IS DEACTIVATED. ACCORDING TO THE DEALERSHIP, IT IS AN ISSUE WITH THE SENSORS, AS I HAVE HAD TWO OF THESE REPLACED OVER THE PAST 6 MONTHS. MY ACCOUNT MANAGER MADE THE COMMENT TO JUST "REPLACE" ALL OF THEM AS THIS IS A REGULAR PROBLEM. THE COST IS EXCESSIVE, COMING IN AT $400 PER SENSOR. THE LIGHTS HAVE NOW COME ON A 3RD TIME, SO THE ACCOUNT MANAGER WAS RIGHT. THE DATE WAS AUGUST 26, 2020. THE CAR HAS LESS THAN 60,000 MILES, SO I AM BEYOND FRUSTRATED.
The contact owns a 2015 Chrysler 300. The contact stated while driving approximately 40 MPH, the brake pedal was depressed but felt soft. The contact stated that the failure occurred at various speeds, requiring that the brake pedal be depressed with excessive force. The contact stated that the ABS and ESC warning lights were illuminated. The contact stated that while braking following a curve in the road, the rear end of the vehicle started swaying slightly to the right and left. The contact stated that the warning lights were constantly illuminated. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that one of the wheel sensors needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure reoccurred. The contact had not taken the vehicle back to the dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 18,000.
THE SERVICE ELECTRONIC STABILITY CONTROL AND SERVICE ABS BRAKE SYSTEM LIGHTS ARE ON IN 2015 CHRYSLER 300 SPORT
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 300. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SUSPENSION AND ALIGNMENT WERE OFF ON THE FRONT AND REAR WHEELS. THE FAILURE CAUSED THE CONTACT TO REPLACE THE TIRES TWICE WITHIN A YEAR DUE TO EXCESSIVE TREADWEAR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TIRES WERE CAMBERED OUT MORE TO THE RIGHT INSTEAD OF STRAIGHT AND FLUSHED WITH THE VEHICLE. THE DEALER MARTY CANCILA DODGE CHRYSLER JEEP RAM (2175 N HIGHWAY 67, FLORISSANT, MO 63033, (636) 400-0097) RECOMMENDED AN ALIGNMENT AND A NEW SET OF TIRES. BOTH AC ACTUATOR KEEP GOING OUT INTERMITTENTLY AND EVEN AFTER REPLACING CONTINUES TO, WHICH RESULTS IN UNABLE TO CHANGE THE TEMPERATURE. TOOK IT TO A MECHANIC POSSIBLE SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THE FACTORY WIRE HARNESS. THIS HAPPENS EVERY DAY, BOTH ACTUATORS DON'T SEEM TO WORK AT THE SAME TIME. HAPPENS WHEN IN MOTION OR STATIONARY. *TR
MY WIFE WAS IN AN ACCIDENT WHERE SHE WAS HIT IN THE DRIVER'S SIDE AT HER DOOR, REAR PASSENGER DOOR AND FRONT FENDER WHILE TURNING LEFT AT AN INTERSECTION. IMPACT WAS 35-40 MPH. NOT ONE AIRBAG DEPLOYED. SHE HIT HER HEAD AND SHOULDER ON WINDOW CAUSING SEVERE PAIN TO HER HEAD,NECK AND COLLAR BONE, AND WE WANT TO KNOW WHY THE AIRBAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. WE FEEL THIS MAY HAVE CAUSED MORE PROBLEMS FROM HER IMPACT. I'M SURE WE PAID FOR THIS FEATURE IN THE CAR AND WANT TO KNOW WHY THEY DIDN'T WORK. *TR
WHEN ACCELERATING IT WILL SOMETIMES THROW ITSELF INTO NEUTRAL. IT ALSO STAYS IN A GEAR FOR A LONG PERIOD OF TIME BEFORE SHIFTING. IT HAPPENS AT RANDOM TIMES WHILE DRIVING.
The center console and both front door panels need to be replaced as the panel is pulling away from the doors and the console. Research shows that when the panels on the door requires repair, this could render side front air bags ineffective and the car can easily lose heat and allow cold air inside. Similarly, with the center console, this could cause the p/n/r/d gears to malfunction. I did contact Chrysler (case# 80922998) as was advised that my claim was declined because the 2-year warranty had been exceeded. My car is a 2015 Chrysler 300. The issue did not start until 2020. Research also revealed that many of the Chrysler 300s are experiencing this issue. Also, I did have the dealer to take a look at the panels when I went to have my car serviced on 10/27/2021 and was advised to submit a claim with Chrysler. Finally, please note that my car is a 2015 with only 19,609 miles as of 10/27/2021.
SHIFTER AT TIMES WILL NOT ENGAGE THE GEAR IT IS PUT INTO, ACTS LIKE IT IS IN NUTERAL. CAN TURN IGNITION OFF AND RESTART, PUT INTO GEAR SEVERAL MORE TIMES BEFORE THE GEAR WILL ENGAGE. CAN BE DANGEROUS, DEPENDING WHERE YOU ARE AT. MAY TAKE ABOUT 5 MINUTES TO GET GEAR TO ENGAGE. HAPPENED WHEN STARTING CAR AND BACKING UP OR GOING FORWARD, BACKING UP MORE OFTEN.
ON MONDAY MORNING DECEMBER 23RD APPROXIMATELY 4:15 AM. ON A RAINY WEATHER CONDITION, I WAS DRIVING ON THE 91 EASTBOUND FREEWAY GOING ABOUT 60 MPH, I WAS ON THE 3RD MIDDLE LANE, NEAR GREEN RIVER ROAD, ALL OF A SUDDEN MY STEERING WHEEL FELT AS IF IT LOCKED ON ME, MY CAR STARTED TO VEER TO THE LEFT AND I COULDN'T BREAK OR RELEASE THE STEERING WHEEL, I KNEW I HAD LOST CONTROL AT THIS POINT, BRACING MYSELF, I HIT THE HEAD ON THE CENTER DIVIDER, I SPUN OUT OF CONTROL ENDED BY HITTING THE RAIL ON THE RIGHT SHOULDER, FULL IMPACT. MY BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY, I HAVE A CHEST CONTUSION AS A RESULT OF ME HITTING THE STEERING WHEEL FULL FORCE AND COMPRESSION FRACTURE ON MY THORACIC VERTEBRA NUMBER 7 AS CONFIRMED BY THE CT BODY SCAN/X-RAY FROM THE ER. PLEASE, SOMEONE NEEDS TO HELP ME OUT HERE.*DT*JB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 300. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE VEHICLE INDEPENDENTLY DECELERATED AND A WARNING MESSAGE INSTRUCTED THE CONTACT TO PLACE THE VEHICLE IN PARK. THE CONTACT PULLED THE VEHICLE OVER AND PLACED THE GEAR IN PARK. THE CONTACT WAS UNABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO HIS RESIDENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. BAYSHORE CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM (4000 PASADENA FWY, PASADENA, TX 77503, (713) 433-4000) WAS CONTACTED AND ARRANGEMENTS WERE MADE TO HAVE THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THE DEALER. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 98,000.
THE ABS LIGHT COMES ON EVERY TIME I DRIVE IT. SOMETIME IT FEELS LIKE SOMETHING IS UNDER THE BRAKE PEDDLE. THE CAR WAS IN MOTION EACH TIME. IT WAS NEVER ON A TURN.. WAS THERE A RECALL AT ANYTIME?
WHILE ATTEMPTING TO PARK WITH GEAR ON D THE CAR SUDDENLY CAME TO AN ABRUPT STOP AND A MESSAGE ON THE DASHBOARD READ, SHIFT TO P THEN TO DESIRED GEAR. I ATTEMPTED TO REVERSE AND OR PUT THE GEAR IN DRIVE SEVERAL TIMES ONLY TO RECEIVE THE SAME MESSAGE. I TRIED TURNING THE CAR OFF MULTIPLE TIMES AND I STILL HAD THE SAME RESULT. UNTIL ABOUT 10 MINUTES OR SO OF THIS SAME ISSUE I WAS ABLE TO FINALLY PUT THE CAR IN REVERSE AND PARK. ON 8/6/2019 MY CAR WAS AT THE DEALERSHIP GETTING RECALLS FIXED AND THEN THIS OCCURED. I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS ISSUE BEFORE.
FIRST, THE TOP OF MY DASHBOARD CAME UNGLUED. SECOND, FRONT SUSPENSION HAS A RATTLING NOISE WHEN DRIVING OF A BUMPY ROAD. FINALLY, MY FRONT HEAD TEND TO SWING BACK AND FORTH INSTEAD OF RAISING UP SMOOTHLY WHEN TURNING ON MY CAR. HOPEFULLY I DON'T GET ANY MORE PROBLEMS WITH MY 300 BEING THAT I JUST GOT THE CAR IN DECEMBER.
THE DRIVER & FRONT PASSENGER DOOR PANELS ARE SEPARATING AT THE TOP OF THE DOOR WHERE IT MEETS THE WINDOW. TOOK THE CAR TO SIERRA CHRYSLER DEALER & ASKED TO FIX THE PROBLEM & HE SAID THIS WAS COMMON TO HAPPEN WITH THIS MODEL. ASKED IF IT WAS COVERED UNDER OUR WARRANTY & HE REPLIED "NO" BUT WE COULD PAY OVER $900 TO REPLACE EACH PANEL. WE ARE DISGUSTED AFTER TAKING CARE OF THIS CAR TO FIND OUT THE DOOR PANELS ARE DEFECTIVE AND ITS KNOWN BY CHRYSLER. THIS SHOULD BE REPAIRED AT NO COST TO ME. THIS CAR HAS UNDER 36,000, WELL MAINTAINED & THE INSIDE DOOR PANELS ARE SEPARATING FROM THE DOOR.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 300. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH, THE CONTACT FELT THAT THE STEERING WHEEL WAS LOOSE. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT DROVE TO ED TOMKO CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE (33725 WALKER RD, AVON LAKE, OH 44012, 440-933-3500), BUT THEY WERE UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT CONTINUED TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE AND CONTINUED TO EXPERIENCE THE FAILURE. ON ONE OCCASION, WHILE ATTEMPTING TO MAKE A LEFT TURN, THE "POWER STEERING ASSIST NOT ACTIVE" WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND THE VEHICLE WAS UNABLE TO COMPLETE THE TURN. THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE AND DROVE HOME. THE FOLLOWING DAY, THE CONTACT DROVE THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE RACK AND PINION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE CONTACT WAS PROVIDED A COST ESTIMATE FOR THE REPAIR AND WAS INFORMED BY THE DEALER THAT THEY WOULD ATTEMPT TO SEE IF THEY COULD ASSIST WITH THE COST. THE MANUFACTURER WAS INFORMED OF THE FAILURE AND STATED THAT THEY WOULD WORK WITH THE DEALER TO ASSIST WITH THE COST OF REPAIRS. THE DEALER CALLED THE CONTACT BACK A FEW DAYS LATER WHERE HE WAS INFORMED THAT THE MANUFACTURER WOULD NOT ASSIST WITH THE COST OF THE REPAIR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN GROCERY STORE LOT. I TURNED IT ON. STEERING WARNING LIGHT CAME ON. I TRIED TO BACK OUT OF THE SPACE AND I COULD NOT TURN THE STEERING WHEEL. CAR WAS TOWED TO MY HOME ADDRESS.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 CHRYSLER 300. AFTER STARTING THE VEHICLE, THE TRANSMISSION COULD NOT BE IMMEDIATELY SHIFTED FROM THE PARK POSITION. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO GANLEY CHRYSLER/DODGE (2115 MENTOR AVE, PAINSVILLE, OH) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ROTARY SHIFTER WAS FAULTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 62,000.
IN THE FOURTH YEAR OF LEASE, MY 2015 CHRYSLER 300 BEGAN MAKING A GRINDING SOUND WHEN TURNING. THE CAR HAS 25,948 MILES ON IT, BUT THE 3-YEAR WARRANTY PERIOD HAS ENDED . THE DEALER DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM, REPORTING THAT THE STEERING RACK IS CAUSING THE NOISE AND NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AT A COST OF $3,700.00.
WHEN DRIVING THIS VEHICLE AT SPEEDS BETWEEN 15-25 MPH ON BOTH STREETS AND HIGHWAYS THE FRONT SUSPENSION GENERATES A SOUND THAT RELATES TO WORN BUSHINGS OR A 'LOOSE'STRUTS. THE DEALERSHIP HAS WORKED ON THIS ISSUE. THEY ACKNOWLEDGE THERE IS A PROBLEM, BUT HAS NOT RESOLVED SAME. CHRYSLER IS AWARE OF THE ISSUE WITH MY VEHICLE AND APPARENTLY WITH OTHER VEHICLES IN THIS 300 MODEL. THEY HAVE PLACED THIS PROBLEM ON A 'STAR' LIST AND ARE TELLING ME THE PROBLEM WILL HAVE TO GET WORSE BEFORE ANY FURTHER CORRECTIONS WILL BE ADDRESSED. THIS VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AND I AM THE ONLY OWNER OF THIS CAR. TECHNICIANS HAVE RIDDEN WITH ME IN THE CAR AND CONFIRM THE ' LOOSE SOUND' IS PRESENT. THEY APPARENTLY DO NOT HAVE A RELIABLE SOLUTION!
MY 300 HAS BEEN SHUTTING OFF WHILE DRIVING FOR NO REASON VERY SCARY HAPPENS IN THE MIDDLE OF TRAFFIC NO WARNING NO ENGINE LIGHT NOTHING THEN MESSAGE ON DASH SAYS PUT IN PARK TO START AND IT STARTS RIGHT UP
