AS I WAS COMING OUT OF A PARKING LOT AT A MINIMUM SPEED ABOUT TO MAKE A RIGHT TURN THE CAR SUDDENLY CUT OFF. THE STEERING WHEEL LOCKED AND I WAS UNABLE TO MAKE TURN, THEN AS SUDDENLY AS IT SHUT OFF IT CAME BACK ON IN MID TURN. THIS HAS OCCURRED TO ME SEVERAL TIMES APPROX A YEAR AFTER BUYING THIS VEH IN 2010 AND ON SEVERAL DIFFERENT OCCASIONS, AT VARIOUS SPEEDS BUT ALWAYS AS I WOULD COMMIT TO MAKING A RIGHT TURN WOULD THE STEERING WHEEL LOCK UP ON ME AND THE CAR SHUT DOWN. *TR
FROM ONE DAY TO ANOTHER, THE ENGINE LIGHT TURNED ON, THE OIL LIGHT TURNED ON, THE ESP BAS LIGHT TURNED ON, THE CAR SIGN WITH THE CURVED LINES UNDER IT, AND THE AWD SIGN AND THAT'S JUST TO NAME A FEW. THE CAR WAS ALSO NOT REVERSING AND THE CAR WAS SHIFTING REALLY HARD. TOOK IT INTO THE DEALER, AND THEY TOLD MY MECHANIC THAT IT WAS THE COMPUTER, BUT THEY WEREN'T SURE IF THAT WOULD EVEN FIX THE PROBLEM BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT SURE IF THAT IS THE PROBLEM. THEY SAID I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR EVERYTHING AND IF THAT DIDN'T FIX IT I WOULD HAVE TO SPEND MORE MONEY UNTIL THEY FOUND THE ACTUAL FIX.AND THE BEST PART IS WHEN THE CAR WAS UNDER WARRANTY THEY HAD TO REPROGRAM THE PCM. POWER TRAIN:AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION:CONTROL MODULE (TCM, PCM). THIS CAR HAS ALWAYS BEEN KEPT IN TIP TOP SHAPE WITH ITS REGULAR MAINTENANCE, OIL CHANGES AND ETC... DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO AT THIS POINT BECAUSE UNDER THE ADVICE OF MY MECHANIC, HE SAYS THIS CAR IS WAY TO NEW TO BE GIVING SO MANY PROBLEMS. ALL I KNOW IS THAT CHRYSLER WILL BE HEARING FROM MY ATTORNEY, BECAUSE FOR WHAT I KNOW THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME CHRYSLER HAS HAD PROBLEMS WITH THEIR PCM,TCM WHICH IS THE CARS COMPUTER. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!! I CAN NOT DRIVE THIS CAR ANYMORE, I HAVE A 2 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER AND I REFUSE TO PUT HER IN A CAR THAT IS GOING CRAZY! *TT
CURRENTLY MY CHRYSLER PACIFICA TOURING AWD HAS 31,008 MILES ON IT. I HAVE HAD THE FOLLOWING PROBLEMS SEPTEMBER 11, 2008 AT 2660 MILES, ROCKER ARM, VALVE REPLACED 4.0 LITER. CRACKED BLACK PLASTIC UPPER RADIATOR PANEL. OCTOBER 27, 2011 MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS TO DEALERSHIP ABOUT THE VEHICLE ACTING LIKE IT WANTED TO ACCELERATE ON ITS OWN. JULY 14, 2012 MILES: 22,574 FRONT/REAR DIFFERENTIAL SHOWS A NEED FOR IMMEDIATE ATTENTION. FEBRUARY 12.2013, SHOWED REAR DIFFERENTIAL LEAKING. SEPTEMBER 27, 2013, MILES 29.120 SHOWS PROBLEM WITH REAR DIFFERENTIAL. JANUARY 1, 2014 MILES: 31,006 VEHICLE TOWED TO DEALERSHIP AND WAS DIAGNOSTIC FOR A DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY NEEDED, PART#5157008AE. SECOND OPINION GIVEN BY MASTER ASE TECHNICIAN GIVE ON 01-14-2014, MILES: 31,008, STATES TRANSFER CASE/PTU IS CRACKED AND FLUID IS LEAKING. RECOMMENDATIONS: TRANSFER CASE/PTU AND REAR DRIVESHAFT ASSEMBLY NEEDS TO BE REPLACED WITH A NEW AND IMPROVED TYPE UNIT BECAUSE RESEARCH SHOW THIS IS A KNOWN PROBLEM WITH THIS VEHICLE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT 40 MPH, THE VEHICLE VIBRATED AND JOLTED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WITHOUT ANY WARNINGS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE EXACT FAILURE WITH THE TRANSMISSION. AS A RESULT, THE CONTACT WAS REFERRED TO DEALER FOR INSPECTION. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO DEALER. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 104,000.
ON AUG. 29, 2011, AS I WAS ACCELERATING TO MERGE ONTO THE FREEWAY, THE ENGINE OF MY 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA MADE A LOUD POPPING SOUND, THE ENGINE FAILED AND WHITE SMOKE IMMEDIATELY CAME BILLOWING OUT OF THE ENGINE AND INTO THE INTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE. I IMMEDIATELY PULLED OVER AND HAD TO HAVE THE VEHICLE TOWED TO A LOCAL MECHANIC. THE MECHANIC WHO INSPECTED THE ENGINE SAID IT "THREW A ROD" AND THE ENGINE WAS CRACKED IN 3 PLACES, RENDERING IT IRREPARABLE. LATER I LEARNED THAT CHRYSLER NO LONGER MAKES A LONG-BLOCK ENGINE FOR THE PACIFICA, AND THEREFORE THE ONLY WAY TO REPAIR IT WOULD BE TO START WITH THE SHORT BLOCK AND ADD ON FROM THERE. THE REPAIRS WOULD BE AT LEAST $8,000. THE VEHICLE ONLY HAD 66,426 MILES ON IT AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT. I HAVE ALWAYS ADHERED TO THE RECOMMENDED MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE OF THE VEHICLE. THE MECHANIC CONFIRMED THAT THE ENGINE HAD PLENTY OF OIL IN IT AND WAS NOT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. SIX MONTHS PRIOR TO THIS EVENT, I HAD THE RADIATOR AS WELL AS THE ENGINE MOUNTS REPLACED AS THEY WERE WORN AND BROKEN. THREE MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT, THE ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT THAT CONTROLS THE BRAKING SYSTEM AND TRACTION CONTROL, WAS REPAIRED BY A CHRYSLER DEALER AS WELL. THESE REPAIRS COST ME A TOTAL OF $2400. CHRYSLER HAS REFUSED TO COMPENSATE ME FOR THE LOSS IN VALUE I HAVE HAD TO INCUR WITH THIS VEHICLE. THE KELLY BLUE BOOK VALUE WITH A WORKING ENGINE WAS APPROX. $12,000. NOW THE CAR IS WORTH LESS THAN $2000. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WOULD STALL SPORADICALLY AND WITHOUT WARNING. THE AIR CONDITIONER ALSO WAS INOPERABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER HOWEVER, THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED WHO OFFERED NO ASSISTANCE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 45,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH AND NONE OF THE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. THE CONTACT WAS KNOCKED UNCONSCIOUS AS THE VEHICLE CONTINUED UNTIL CRASHING INTO A TREE. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED AND AWAITING INSPECTION. THE CONTACT BELIEVED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGES WERE 92,000.
MY CHRYSLER PACIFICA HAS SEVERAL PROBLEMS WITH TRANSMISSION. RECENTLY THE TRANSMISSION WONT SHIFT PAST 2ND. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO OR HOW MUCH IT COST. *TR
MY 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA BEGAN STALLING ON 8/17/2011. WE HAVE TO PUT THE CAR IN NEUTRAL AND RE-START, NO MATTER WHAT THE TRAFFIC CONDITIONS. WE LOSE ALL POWER STEERING AND BRAKES WHEN THIS HAPPENS. AFTER ABOUT 3 STALLING INCIDENTS IN A SHORT TIME. WE TOOK IT TO THE DEALERSHIP. THEY HAD THE CAR FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS AND COULDN'T FIND THE CAUSE. THEY SENT ME HOME AND SAID TO KEEP A DIARY OF PROBLEMS. I KEPT TRACK FOR A YEAR. IN THAT TIME THE CAR HAD STALLED 24 TIMES. THE TIME OF DAY AND CONDITIONS WERE ALL NOTED. IN AUGUST OF THIS YEAR, THE CAR STALLED NUMEROUS TIMES. WE TOOK THE CAR BACK TO THE DEALERSHIP WITH THE DIARY. THEY HAVE HAD MY CAR SINCE 8/27/12. WE HAVE INCURRED $800.00 IN RENTAL CAR EXPENSE. THEY PUT A COMPUTER ON BOARD AND SENT THE CAR HOME WITH MY HUSBAND TO DRIVE FOR A WEEK. HE PUSHED THE BUTTON WHEN IT STALLED 4 TIMES. THE COMPUTER RECORDED THE STALLS, BUT NO CODES. THEY CAN'T RE-CREATE THE PROBLEM AND HAVE NO ANSWERS. I SOME TIMES DRIVE WITH OUR GRANDCHILDREN AND WILL NOT DRIVE THE CAR UNTIL THIS IS RESOLVED. MOTOR MOUNTS WERE REPLACED EARLY IN OUR OWNERSHIP. THE ONLY THING THAT CHRYSLER CAN OFFER WAS TO CLEAN THE THROTTLE BODY. THE DEALERSHIP DID THAT AND IT DIDN'T HELP. THE CAR HAS STARTED STALLING AT HIGHER SPEEDS. INITIALLY IT WAS 10-25 MPH. THE LAST FEW TIMES IT WAS AROUND 35 MPH. THIS IS CLEARLY A SAFETY ISSUE AND NEEDS TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR SERVICE AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE MOTOR MOUNTS WERE FAILING AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. NO REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGES WERE 63,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH. THE FAILURE WAS EXPERIENCED NUMEROUS TIMES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER NUMEROUS TIMES FOR THE FAILURE WHERE THE DEALER PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC THAT WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE THE FAILURE. THE DEALER REPLACED THE EGR SENSOR, THE ETC SENSOR, THE ECM SENSOR AND THE WIRING HARNESS BUT THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED. THE VEHICLE CONTINUED TO STALL WITHOUT WARNING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND ADVISED THE CONTACT TO TAKE THE VEHICLE BACK TO THE DEALER. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 42,000, AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 66,000. UPDATED 03/27/12*LJ
BEGINNING IN JULY 2011 THE GAS GAUGE BECAME ERRATIC. IT WOULD SHOW 1/2 TANK AND 200MILES TO EMPTY. WITHIN 20 MILES IT WOULD SHOW LOW FUEL AND SHORTLY AFTER RUN OUT OF GAS. AROUND THE SAME TIME THE FUEL TANK WOULD TAKE A VERY LONG TIME TO FILL. THE NOZZLE KEEPS KICKING OFF AS IF THE TANK WERE FULL. THE ONLY WAY TO FUEL IT IS TO GENTLY SQUEEZE THE NOZZLE AND TRICKLE IT IN. THE FASTEST IT WILL TAKE FUEL IS SLOW ENOUGH THAT YOU CAN ACTUALLY COUNT THE PENNIES ON THE PUMP AS THEY GO UP. AFTER E-MAILING CHRYSLER NO LESS THAN 7 TIMES AND FINALLY DEMANDING TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL TODAY,12/29/2011. I HAD HIM ON THE PHONE FOR 40 MINUTES AND GOT NOWHERE. THE LAST E-MAIL THEY SENT ME SAID THE ANSWER WOULD REMAIN THE SAME, WHICH TELLS ME THERE WAS A PREDETERMINED ANSWER TO MY PROBLEM. I ASKED THE SUPERVISOR WHO CALLED ME FOR A PHONE NUMBER I COULD CALL TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE HIGHER THAN HIM AND WAS TOLD "WE DON'T DO THAT." I CANNOT SEE HOW A CAR THAT IS 5 YEARS OLD NEEDS A NEW FUEL PUMP AND A NEW FUEL TANK. HE SAID THIS IS THE FIRST CASE HE HAS SEEN ON THIS ISSUE BUT I HAVE FOUND NEARLY 100 CASES IDENTICAL TO MINE ON-LINE. I ALSO CALLED 7 DEALERS IN 5 STATES AND THEY HAVE ALL HEARD OF THIS PROBLEM AND KNEW JUST WHAT THE CAR NEEDS. PARTS AND LABOR COMES TO JUST OVER $1500.00. I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY HELP OR ADVICE YOU COULD PROVIDE. THANK YOU. *KB
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT TWO OF THE THREE MOTOR MOUNTS FAILED. THE CONTACT TOOK THE VEHICLE TO A MECHANIC THINKING THAT THE TRANSMISSION FAILED AND WAS ADVISED OF THE MOTOR MOUNT FAILURES THE BY THE MECHANIC. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE VIN WAS NOT AVAILABLE. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 110,000.
REAR ENGINE MOUNTS ARE DEFECTIVE IN VEHICLE, THE ENGINE IS SHIFTING WITHIN THE CAR CAUSING IT TO HIT THE TRANSMISSION. ADDITIONALLY, THE CONTROL ARM WITHIN THE CAR IS BROKEN AND LOOSE. THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE 2008 CHRYSLER PACIFICA FOR THE SAME PROBLEM BECAUSE THE DRIVER CAN LOOSE CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE WHILE IN OPERATION. MY 2007 IS CURRENTLY BEING LOOKED AT FOR THIS ISSUE. CAUSE AS STATED BY MECHANIC: INTERNAL FAILURE OF THE STEERING GEAR AND BOTH LOWER CONTROL ARMS BUSHINGS BROKEN AND LOOSE. *KB

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE WHO DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 86,000 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 116,000.
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. WHILE DRIVING AT AN UNKNOWN SPEED, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE SUDDENLY STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE DEALER DID NOT OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A PRIVATE MECHANIC WHO REPLACED THE TRANSMISSION. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 40,900 AND THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 40,819.
THE SHIFT STICK/KNOB IS STUCK IN PARK. THE PINK BUTTON WILL NOT UNSTUCK IT. A MECHANIC HELPED AND THE PLASTIC MECHANISM THAT WILL HOLD THE SHIFT TO PARK FOR SAFETY BROKE. I NOW DO NOT HAVE THIS FEATURE WHERE I NEED TO STEP ON THE BRAKE TO RELEASE THE SHIFT. THE PARK SHIFT CAN NOW BE EASILY MOVED WHICH IS DANGEROUS. *TR
THE CAR CONTINUES TO STALL AT LOW SPEEDS. WE HAVE TAKEN TO MECHANIC AND THEY DO NOT FIND ANY SERVICE ALERTS, AND WEREN'T ABLE TO DUPLICATE ON A TEST DRIVE. IT IS STARTING TO PICK UP IN FREQUENCY TO WHERE IT IS DOING IT EVERY OTHER DAY NOW. I ALSO CALLED THE SERVICE GROUP AT THE CHRSYLER DEALER I PURCHASED IT FROM, AND THEY SAID THEY CAN ONLY DO WHAT I HAD ALREADY DONE WITH THE OTHER MECHANIC SHOP. I WENT TO THE CHRYSLER FORUM TO POST AND SEE IF ANYONE ELSE HAD EXPERIENCED THIS, AND SEE NUMEROUS POSTINGS OF THIS ISSUE OVER THE YEARS. I AM VERY CONCERNED WITH THE SAFETY OF MY FAMILY, AS WHEN THE CAR STALLS, IT LOCKS UP AND I LOSE CONTROL. I HAVE TO PULL OVER AND RESTART.
I HAVE A 2007 PACIFICA AND HAVE REPLACED 2 MOTOR MOUNTS(FIRST TIME SHORTLY AFTER I PURCHASED IT IN 2007),2 TIRE RODS(2009 &2010),AND RECENTLY 2 STAB LINKS WITHIN A 6 MONTH PERIOD(AUG.2010,MARCH 2011).ALSO MY CAR HAS STALLED TWICE WHEN DRIVING 25-30 MILES PER HOUR.MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON DUE TO AN EMISSION LEAK THAT THEY SAY NOW AFTER REPLACING A SENSOR THAT MY GAS TANK HAS A CRACK IN IT.MY RADIATOR HAS A CRACK IN IT AND IS EVAPORATING COOLANT.THIS CAR HAS BEEN THE WORST VEHICLE I HAVE EVER OWNED. *TR
2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA WITH 38,829 MILES NEED TO HAVE BOTH OUTER TIE ROD ENDS REPLACED. MY WIFE AND I ARE THE FIRST OWNERS. I FEEL THAT THE MILES ON VEHICLE ARE TO LOW FOR SUCH DAMAGE AND VERY CLOSE TO THE BASIC COVERAGE OR THE INTENT OF COVERAGE. I WILL BE GETTING IT REPAIRED AT MY LOCAL CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP. *TR
UPON FAST ACCELERATION OR BRAKING THERE WAS A NOTICEABLE MECHANICAL "CLUNK" AND A SHIFT FORWARD OR BACK IN WEIGHT/MOMENTUM. THIS WAS DUE TO TWO BROKEN/DEFECTIVE MOTOR MOUNTS DISCOVERED DURING THE COURSE OF A 64,000 MILE SERVICE MAINTENANCE CHECK. SHORTLY AFTER DROPPING THE CAR OFF FOR SERVICE ON 2/17/11 I RECEIVED A CALL FORM THE DEALER ALERTING ME TO THE FACT THAT WHEN THE ACCELERATOR IS PRESSED THE ENGINE WOULD RISE TO WITHIN TWO INCHES OF THE INTERIOR OF THE HOOD. THE DEALER REPLACED THE MOUNTS AND SHOWED ME THE BAD PARTS AND EXPLAINED WHY THEY FAIL AND DRAIN THEIR LIQUID FILLER. ALTHOUGH MY CAR IS WELL OUT OF WARRANTY I CONTACTED CHRYSLER TO ASK THEM TO COVER THE COST OF THE REPAIR AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THIS WAS TYPICAL MECHANICAL WEAR AND TEAR ON THE VEHICLE AND IS NOT COVERED IN OR OUT OF WARRANTY. I PERSONALLY VIEW THIS AS DEFECTIVE PARTS AND ENGINEERING. I HAVE OWNED MANY CARS OVER THE YEARS AND HAVE NOT HAD TO REPLACE A MOTOR MOUNT. FURTHER I SIMPLY WENT ON TO THE INTERNET AND GOOGLED "MOTOR MOUNTS 2007 PACIFICA" AND CAME UP WITH MANY, MANY CASES OF THE SAME PROBLEMS WITH PACIFICA'S. I CANNOT SPEAK TO THE ISSUE OF DIRECT SAFETY ISSUES WITH THIS PROBLEM BUT SURELY WITH A MOTOR IMPROPERLY SECURED THE POTENTIAL FOR DANGER IS PARAMOUNT. *TR
TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FAILED TO SHIFT TO SECOND GEAR WITHOUT WARNING. THE DEALER WAS NOT INFORMED SINCE THE VEHICLE WAS NO LONGER UNDER WARRANTY, NOR DID THE CONTACT INFORM THE MANUFACTURER. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A PRIVATE MECHANIC WHO PERFORMED A DIAGNOSTIC TEST WHICH CONFIRMED THAT A RELAY SWITCH WAS DAMAGED DUE TO WATER AND WITHOUT IT THE COMPUTER MALFUNCTIONED. THE ENGINE MOUNT ALSO FAILED CAUSING THE TORQUE CONVERTER TO DEPOSIT SHARDS OF METAL INTO THE RUBBER SEAL AROUND THE TORQUE CONVERTER AND AS A RESULT HE NEEDED TO HAVE THE TRANSMISSION REBUILT. THE PRIVATE MECHANIC WAS PERFORMING THE REPAIRS. THE CURRENT AND FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 86,000. UPDATED 3/28/11 *CN UPDATED 04/29/11

THE WORK WAS COMPLETED AND CAR APPEARED TO SHIFT MORE NORMALLY BUT STILL FELT SOME GOOD BUMPS WHEN SHIFTING. TOOK CAR TO DEALER FOR SECOND SERVICE TRIP AND THEY STATED THAT MOTOR MOUNTS NEEDED REPLACED. I SEARCHED THE INTERNET AND FOUND AN UNENDING LIST OF IDENTICAL PROBLEMS. I PURCHASED A BRAND NEW 2007 CHRYSLER PACIFICA IN APRIL 2007. I'VE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE ENGINE MOUNTS THREE TIMES ALREADY (JANUARY 2008, AUGUST 2009 AND SEPTEMBER 2010). I WAS TOLD THE CAR NEEDED A NEW BATTERY, SOME BRAKE WORK AND THE TENSIONER NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. AN OIL CHANGE WAS DONE. I WAS TOLD THE ENGINE MOUNTS WERE INSPECTED AND THEY WERE FINE AND THERE WAS NO PROBLEM WITH THE TRANSMISSION. WELL, LITTLE OVER A MONTH LATER AROUND SEPT. 22 2010, THE TRANSMISSION FELT LIKE IT WAS DRAGGING, ENGINE WAS EXTREMELY HOT, RPM'S SEEMED TO BE OUT OF WACK AND THE OIL FUEL WAS REALLY LOW. THE CAR WAS INSPECTED AND I WAS TOLD THE RUBBER AROUND THE ENGINE MOUNTS HAD TO BE REPLACED AND WAS MAKING THE ENGINE PULL AWAY FROM THE TRANSMISSION WHICH WAS CAUSING THE PROBLEM. I WAS TOLD IT WAS NORMAL TO BURN / LOOSE THAT AMOUNT OF OIL. I WAS CHARGED ANOTHER DEDUCTIBLE AND I TOOK THE CAR HOME. WELL TODAY, SEPT. 28TH, I GET IN THE CAR AND THE LOW OIL LIGHT GOES ON AND THE TRANSMISSION STILL SEEMS / FEELS WEIRD. WHAT IS GOING ON WITH CHRYSLER?
