THE CLOCK SPRING IN THE STEERING COLUMN FAILED CAUSING THE AIRBAG AND HORN NOT TO WORK. CLOCK SPRING IS NO LONGER MANUFACTURED OR FOUND IN CHRYSLERS INVENTORY. THE PART WAS NEVER PRODUCED BY AN AFTER MARKET COMPANY. DEALER HAS TRIED TO FIND IT IN JUNK YARDS WITH NO LUCK AFTER 3.5 MONTHS. CHRYSLER IS RELATIVELY SILENT ON HELPING TO CORRECT OR REPLACE THE VEHICLE. VEHICLE IS OWNED BY A CONSUMER WITH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS AND WITHOUT THE VEHICLE HAS LOST HER INDEPENDENCE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CHRYSLER PACIFICA. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 35 MPH, THE AIR BAG AND STABILITY CONTROL WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. IN ADDITION, THE CRUISE CONTROL AND HORN FAILED TO OPERATE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSIS. THE TECHNICIAN INFORMED THE CONTACT THAT THE CLOCK SPRING NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN REPAIRED BECAUSE THE NEEDED PART WAS NO LONGER BEING PRODUCED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE PROBLEM. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 115,000.
INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR DOREL GB1B3, INFANT CARRIER SAYS TO USE LAP BELT ACROSS AND THEN SHOULDER BELT AROUND THE BACK OF SEAT. THE BELT IS NOT LONG ENOUGH FOR SHOULDER PORTION TO GO AROUND BACK OF SEAT. INSTALLATION DONE IN 2008 CHRYSLER PACIFICA IN MIDDLE AND OUTBOARD POSITIONS. *TR
