MY 2007 SEBRING STALLS ONLY WHEN RAINING. *TR
MY AIRBAG LIGHT KEEPS COMING ON DEPENDING ON THE POSITION OF THE PASSENGER SEAT. IT CAME ON THE BEGINNING OF THE MONTH AND I TOOK IT TO THE USED CAR PLACE I BOUGHT IT FROM AND THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING THERE SO I TOOK IT HOME AND WAS PLAYING WITH THE SEAT AND IF THE SEAT IS PUSHED BACK THE LIGHT GOES ON BUT IF IT IS FORWARD THE LIGHT COMES ON. SOMETIMES IT TAKES A MINUTE OR YOU WILL START DRIVING AND IT POPS ON. WHAT SHOULD I DO? *TR
CAR TURNS OFF AUTOMATICALLY AT LOW SPEED. BRAKES LOCK AT THE SAME TIME THIS HAPPENS. I TOOK IT BACK TO DEALER TO GET SERVICED, AND THEY STATED THAT NOTHING WAS FOUND. THE SERVICEMAN DID TELL ME THAT HE CALLED THE CHRYSLER CORP, AND THEY TOLD HIM THEY NEVER HEARD OF ANYTHING LIKE THIS HAPPENING BUT ON A FORUM ON THE INTERNET, THERE ARE MANY COMPLAINTS OF THIS OCCURRING. I TOLD THE MAN THAT IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE AND HOW DANGEROUS IT IS, AND HE AGREED WITH ME. THIS MALFUNCTION OCCURRED TWO TIMES ALREADY SINCE I BOUGHT THE CAR FROM THE DEALER. I BROUGHT THE CAR BACK YESTERDAY DEC 27, 2014, BECAUSE AS I WAS AT A STOP LIGHT, THE LIGHT CHANGED GREEN, THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTED GEARS AT THE SAME TIME I ACCELERATED ON THE GAS TO GO AND I HEARD CLICKING FOR ABOUT A MILE. THE NOISE WENT AWAY. I EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM TO THE SERVICEMAN AND I WAS TOLD THAT I NEED SWAY BARS NOW. I JUST PURCHASED THE CAR IN SEPT OF THIS YEAR, AND I'M SO DISAPPOINTED TO ENCOUNTER ALL THESE PROBLEMS. MY EXTENDED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER THE WORK. I ALSO SAY THAT THIS HAS BEEN WEARING FROM THE PREVIOUS OWNER AND I AM NOT AT FAULT, NOR SHOULD I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE WORK. I SERIOUSLY DO NOT EVEN WANT THIS CAR ANYMORE, AND I AM PAYING FOR IT MONTHLY FROM A LOAN THEY GAVE ME FROM CAPITAL ONE FINANCING. THIS IS CHAOS, AND HAS EXACERBATED MY ILLNESS OF HAVING MS. ANYTIME I GET GAS, THE AUTO SHUT OFF IS DELAYED AND MY GAS TANK GETS OVERFILLED WHICH RESULTS IN GASOLINE FLYING OUT OF THE GAS TANK AND SQUIRTING EVERYWHERE. THIS HAPPENS EVERY SINGLE TIME I GET GAS, EVEN IF I TRY TO CONTROL THE GAS FLOW TO BE VERY SLOW. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS 2007 CHRYSLER SEBRING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE STALLED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS AND THE CONTACT WAS ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT INDICATED THAT THERE WAS AN ELECTRICAL SHORT WITHIN THE VEHICLE. THE INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHTS AND GAUGES SHORTED OUT AND FAILED TO WORK ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER. THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER, THE FRONT PASSENGER DOOR SWITCH AND THE PASSENGER SIDE REAR DOOR PANEL NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT CONTINUED TO EXPERIENCE THE VEHICLE JERKING VIOLENTLY AND THEN STALLING INTERMITTENTLY. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURES. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 114,560.
WHEN IT BEGAN, THE CAR SOMETIMES WOULD NOT CATCH WHEN I TURNED THE IGNITION. THEN ONE DAY IT WAS RAINING AND I PULLED UP TO A RED LIGHT AND THE CAR CUT OFF. IT EVENTUALLY PROGRESSED TO THE CAR RANDOMLY SLOWING DOWN AND/OR NOT GOING OVER 20 MPH. WHEN IT FIRST STARTED I COULD TURN THE CAR OFF AND BACK ON AND IT WOULD BE FINE, NOW THE CAR MUST SIT FOR HOURS BEFORE IT BEGINS TO WORK PROPERLY AGAIN. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER SEBRING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE FAILED TO START. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL PUMP WIRING WAS CORRODED AND THAT THERE WAS A SMALL HOLE IN THE FUEL PUMP CONNECTOR. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 96,000.
DRIVING DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT NIGHT AND DASH LIGHT STARTED FLICKERING AND THEN WENT OFF. I UNDERSTAND THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM ON THIS TYPE OF CAR. *TR
THE ELECTRICAL IN THE DASH STARTED FLICKERING ON AND OFF WITHOUT WARNING. EVENTUALLY IT STOPPED WORKING ALL TOGETHER. I TOOK IT TO A SERVICE DEPT I WORK AT AND THEY TOLD ME I NEEDED TO TAKE IT BACK TO THE DEALER BECAUSE THEY WOULD HAVE TO RIP THE WHOLE DASH APART AND REPLACE IT. THAT WOULD COST ME AROUND $600. SEEMS LIKE OTHER PEOPLE HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. HAS THIS EVER BEEN A RECALL? *JS
TRAVELING AT 60 MPH THE ETC LIGHT BEGINS TO FLASH AND THE VEHICLE WILL NOT ACCELERATE, ALTHOUGH RPMS INCREASE SIGNIFICANTLY. THIS HAPPENS MANY TIMES GOING DOWNHILL. DEALER WAS NEVER ABLE TO REPAIR. RESETS IF CAR IS RESTARTED, BUT THIS IS NOT SAFE TRAVELING AT 60MPH ON THE HIGHWAY IN TRAFFIC. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO LOCATE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 70,000. THE VIN WAS UNAVAILABLE.
AIR BAG SENSOR WILL NOT TURN OFF. IT STAYS ON WHILE I AM DRIVING AND WHILE THE CAR IS AT REST. IT HAS BEEN DOING THIS FOR ALMOST TWO WEEKS. I KNOW THAT IT IS NOT THE WEIGHT BECAUSE I DO NOT HAVE ANYONE OR ANYTHING SITTING IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. AND EVEN IF SOMEONE IS SITTING IN THE PASSENGER SEAT IT STILL STAYS ON. *TR

THE DEALER STATED THAT THE FUEL PUMP AND ELECTRICAL MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED AND THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 170,000. CAR WONT CUT OFF. WHEN TURNED OFF AND KEY IS REMOVED CAR CONTINUE TO RUN. TURNING KEY TOO OFF POSITION AND REMOVING THE KEY WILL NOT TURN OFF CAR, AND THERE IS NO WAY TO STOP CAR FROM RUNNING BATTERY IS LOCATED UNDER CAR ON WHEEL WELL. *TR
DRIVING SOUTH, FROM MICHIGAN, HAD DRIVEN APPROX. 600 MILES OF A 700+ MILE TRIP, VEHICLE STARTED "CHUGGING" AT 70MPH ON THE HIGHWAY, DECELERATING, UNABLE ACCELERATE, THIS WAS NOT IN AN AREA OF DIFFERING ELEVATIONS, IT WOULD ALMOST STALL THEN SURGE, THEN REPEAT. CRUISE CONTROL WAS NOT BEING USED AT THAT TIME DUE TO HEAVY TRAFFIC. PULLED THE VEHICLE OFF THE HIGHWAY, INTO A STORE PARKING LOT, SHUT IT OFF FOR A FEW MINUTES, RESTARTED AND NO FURTHER PROBLEMS UNTIL TODAY WHEN DRIVING FOR LESS THAN 15 MINUTES, ON THE HIGHWAY AT 60MPG, HEAVY TRAFFIC, IT BEGAN AGAIN. AGAIN, IT WAS PULLED OVER SHUT OFF AND RESTARTED WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENTS TODAY. YOU PEOPLE NEED TO DO SOMETHING TO FIX THIS. SOMEONE IS GOING TO BE FATALLY INJURED. I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE EXPERIENCING THIS SAME ISSUE. *TR

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER SEBRING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT APPROXIMATELY 30 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED. THE FAILURE OCCURRED ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THERE WAS A BURNING ODOR COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE THE BATTERY, WIRES, FUEL FILTER, SPARK PLUGS AND THE IGNITION SWITCH WERE REPLACED BUT THE FAILURE RECURRED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED BACK TO THE DEALER, WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE WIRES CAUGHT ON FIRE AND THE FUEL PUMP WAS DAMAGED. AS A RESULT, THE FUEL PUMP WAS REPLACED AND THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 89,919.
THE SEATBELT UNLATCHED WHILE DRIVING. IT HAS HAPPENED A COUPLE TIMES AND IT IS SCARY TO THINK THIS COULD HAPPEN DURING AN ACCIDENT. *TR
I HAVE A 2007 CHRYSLER SEBRING LIMITED AND WHEN I TAKE MY KEY OUT OF THE IGNITION AND OPEN THE DRIVERS DOOR IT STILL INDICATES ON THE DASH THAT THE KEY IS IN THE IGNITION, THEREFORE CAUSING MY KEY FOBS TO NOT WORK AS WELL. I CANNOT SET MY ALARM ON MY CAR BECAUSE THE KEY FOBS ARE NOT WORKING AND I HAVE TO SIT IN THE CAR FOR 30-60 SECONDS WAITING FOR THE DASH TO STOP INDICATING THE KEY IS STILL IN THE IGNITION SO I CAN LOCK THE CAR DOORS. IT IS A BIG HASSLE AND INCONVENIENCE. *TR
THE HORN KEEPS RANDOMLY GOING OFF BOTH WHILE IM DRIVING AND WHEN ITS COMPLETELY SHUT OFF IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. MULTIPLE TIMES ITS GONE OFF WHILE I'VE BEEN DRIVING ITS ALMOST CAUSED WRECKS. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE BEFORE AN ACCIDENT DOES HAPPEN. *TR

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE TECHNICIAN WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND VERIFIED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN RECALL NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 08V152000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 74,000. THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 74,60.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER SEBRING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAG WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE FAILURE RECURRED MULTIPLE TIMES. ALSO, THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE LOW BEAM FOG LIGHT AND REAR PASSENGER BRAKE LIGHT FAILED TO ILLUMINATE PROPERLY. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO REMEDY THE FAILURE BY REPLACING THE BULBS. HOWEVER, THE FAILURE PERSISTED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR A DIAGNOSIS. THE TECHNICIAN WAS NOT ABLE TO DIAGNOSE OR REPAIRED THE VEHICLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED BY AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC, WHO DISCOVERED THAT THE WIRES THAT WERE CONNECTED TO THE FUEL PUMP WERE BURNED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED. I WAS DRIVING AT ABOUT 55 MPH, ETC LIGHT STARTS BLINKING ERRATICALLY. I THEN LOSE POWER AND GO DOWN TO 10-20 MPH. LATER THAT WEEKEND, I STARTED MY CAR AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED, WITHOUT IT DRIVING. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNED A 2007 CHRYSLER SEBRING. WHEN THE CONTACT APPROACHED A TRAFFIC LIGHT, ANOTHER VEHICLE CRASHED INTO THE FRONT DRIVER SIDE OF THE CONTACT'S VEHICLE AND CAUSED IT TO SPIN TWICE. THE DRIVER SIDE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED WITHOUT AIR INSIDE OF THE THEM, ALLOWING THE CONTACT'S CHEST TO STRIKE THE STEERING WHEEL AND DRIVER SIDE WINDOW. A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE CONTACT WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL AND SUSTAINED TRAUMA TO THE HEAD, A CONCUSSION, A STRAINED NECK, AND BACK PAIN INJURIES. THE VEHICLE WAS DESTROYED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 93,608.
I WAS GOING ABOUT 55 MPH WHEN THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON. IT WAS FLASHING WITH MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO REACH SPEEDS OVER 40 MPH. I WAS A DANGER ON THE HIGHWAY BECAUSE I WAS UNABLE TO MAINTAIN SPEED AS WELL AS THE VEHICLE HESITATING. IT TOOK ME 1HOUR AND A HALF TO TRAVEL 35 MILES. THE NEXT DAY STARTED IT AND THE LIGHT WENT OUT, I HAVE BEEN AFRAID TO DRIVE IT. NO ONE SEEMS TO HAVE AN EASY ANSWER. *TR
REAR WINDOW IS FULL OF DOTS ABOUT 1 1/2 TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER. LOOKS LIKE A DEFAULT IN THE GLASS OR THE TINT. WE HAVE TRIED WASHING BOTH INSIDE AND OUT SIDE OF THE WINDOW BUT IT HAS NO EFFECT. THIS STARTED ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO AND HAS JUST BEEN GETTING WORST. IT IS SO BAD NOW YOU CAN NOT SEE OUT THE BACK WINDOW USING THE REAR VIEW MIRROR.
I CAME UP TO THE STOP SIGN AND THE ELECTRONIC THROTTLE CONTROL LIGHT CAME ON. I TURNED AND TRIED TO GET TO SPEED BUT COULD ONLY GET TO 35MPH. I TURNED AROUND AND WENT BACK HOME. WENT TO A PRIVATE REPAIR SHOP ON MONDAY, BUT HE SAID IF IT IS RUNNING OK, NOT TO DO ANYTHING. AGAIN IT HAPPENED ON 3/16/14 AS I WAS GOING ABOUT 60MPH. THE LIGHT CAME ON AND I COULD NOT GENERATE ANY MORE SPEED. I PULLED INTO A STORE AND TURNED OFF THE CAR. I WAITED ABOUT 5 MINUTES AND IT STARTED AND NO LIGHT. BEEN DRIVING FINE AGAIN. BUT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I PULL OUT TO PASS SOMEONE AND THE LIGHT COMES ON AND I HAVE NO POWER TO PASS THAT CAR. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER SEBRING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT NO PARTICULAR SPEED, THE REAR BRAKES FAILED CAUSING THE REAR WHEELS TO SEIZE INDEPENDENTLY. THE FAILURE WAS INTERMITTENTLY RECURRING OVER A FIVE MONTH SPAN. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE ECU, HCU AND THE TRACTION CONTROL MODULE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 77,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER SEBRING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE HEADLIGHTS, INTERIOR LIGHTS AND DASHBOARD LIGHTS WOULD SPORADICALLY FLASH. THE DEALER REPLACED THE MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH SEVERAL TIMES HOWEVER, THE FAILURE WAS NOT CORRECTED. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE INTERMITTENTLY STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 45,771.
LOVE MY CHRYSLER CARS, YES, I HAVE TWO. THE STEM VALVES/SENSORS HAVE BEEN BREAKING OFF OF OUR 2007 MODEL SEBRING. JUST WANTED TO NOTE THIS IN THE DATABASE. HAD SECOND STEM VALVE/SENSOR BREAK THIS WEEK OF NOVEMBER 9TH, 2014 AND WHILE IT WAS GETTING FIXED, I HAD THE CAR REPAIR SHOP CHECK TIRE PRESSURE ON THE OTHER TIRES AND ANOTHER STEM VALVE/SENSOR SNAPPED OFF. THESE ARE NOT CHEAP TO FIX. THAT'S THREE SO FAR, TWO WITHIN DAYS OF EACH OTHER. I PLAN ON GETTING THE LAST STEM VALVE/SENSOR REPLACED SOON AS WHEN THIS HAPPENS, YOU HAVE ONLY FEET BEFORE YOUR TIRE IS COMPLETELY OUT OF AIR. HOPING CHRYSLER WILL POSSIBLY REPAIR WITH BETTER PARTS OR CHANGE IN HOW THEY'RE MADE. I BELIEVE THIS HAS ALREADY HAPPENED BUT JUST RECENTLY. EACH TIME I FILL UP MY FUEL TANK, IT SMELLS LIKE GAS ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE OF THE CAR. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON SO I TOOK IT TO A LOCAL AUTO PARTS STORE WHO DIAGNOSED IT AS "GASCAP". ATTEMPTED TO START VEHICLE IN THE MORNING, TURNED THE KEY TO CRANK MOTOR AND THE ENGINE WOULD NOT START BUT CONTINUED TO CRANK. EVENTUALLY IT STOPPED CRANKING, I ATTEMPTED TO START VEHICLE AGAIN THEN IT STARTED. BEGAN DRIVING MY CAR DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND THE AIR BAGS LIGHT STARTED GOING OFF AND STAYED ON FOR THE REST OF MY DRIVE. ENGINE IS STALLING ONCE CAR IS CRANKED. WHEN PRESSING THE BRAKES TO PUT CAR IN REVERSE OR DRIVE, THE CAR CUTS OFF. ONCE ABLE TO GET INTO DRIVE AND TRY TO DRIVE, THE CAR'S BRAKES CAN NOT BE TOUCHED OR THE CAR WILL STOP INSTANTLY. THE CAR ALSO DOES STOP AND GO DRIVING LIKE IT'S PULLING ON SOMETHING HEAVY. *TR

THE FUEL PUMP WENT ON MY CAR AND WHEN I BROUGHT IT TO THE REPAIR SHOP THEY STATED THAT THE WIRING AND CONNECTORS ON IT HAD BURNED UP, WHICH CAUSED A HOLE TO BE BURNED IN THE FUEL PUMP LINE. I'VE READ SEVERAL OTHER REPORTS OF THIS EXACT SAME THING HAPPENING AND IN SOME OF THOSE REPORTS THEY STATED THAT THIS WAS A FIRE HAZARD. I ALSO HAD TO PURCHASE A NEW HARNESS FOR THE FUEL PUMP SINCE THAT WAS ALL SCREWED UP AS WELL. *TR

HOWEVER WHEN I CALL CHRYSLER I WAS INFORMED MY VIN DOES NOT MATCH THE VEHICLES THAT WERE IN THE RECALL, THEREFORE IT IS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO CORRECT THIS REPAIR. WHEN MY HUSBAND DRIVES MY CAR, HE MOVES THE SEAT BACK. WHEN I DRIVE MY CAR, I MOVE THE SEAT FORWARD. THIS ACTION CAUSES THE AIRBAG LIGHT ON THE DASH TO COME ON. WHEN I MOVE THE ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED SEAT FORWARD/BACKWARD, THE AIRBAG LIGHT WILL "SOMETIMES" GO OFF. THE NHTSA REF 07V240000 REFERENCES A RECALL FOR THE FRONT SEAT TRACK POSITION SENSOR. I CONTACTED CHRYSLER TO SEE IF MY CAR IS ONE THAT HAS BEEN RECALLED. I'M TOLD THAT IT IS NOT. I THINK IT SHOULD BE. *TR
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 CHRYSLER SEBRING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING 35 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED AS THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING LAMP ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE TECHNICIAN DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL PUMP WIRE HAD MELTED ONTO THE FUEL PUMP. AS A RESULT, THE FUEL PUMP NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 97,770 AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN.
I WAS DRIVING THE VEHICLE ON THE HIGHWAY. THE ETC LIGHT CAME ON AND THE CAR WOULD NOT ACCELERATE. COASTED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, TURNED CAR OFF, THEN BACK ON AND IT RAN FINE. IT HAS DONE THIS AT LEAST 30 TIMES SINCE. NOW MY ETC LIGHT BLINKS AND CAR WILL ONLY GO 10-20 MPH, SLOWS TO 5MPH GOING UP ANY GRADE. IDLE IS ROUGH AND IDLES BETWEEN 1500 AND 2000. SOMETIMES WHEN I FIRST START THE CAR IT WILL RUN OKAY FOR ABOUT 2-3 MINUTES THEN ETC LIGHT SUDDENLY COME ON, CAR DECELERATES AND I HAVE ALMOST BEEN HIT SEVERAL TIMES. NOW THE BRAKE LIGHT COMES ON AND OFF AS DOES THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. THE DEALER DOES NOT KNOW WHAT IS WRONG. THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM WITH THIS MODEL VEHICLE. CHRYSLER NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING BEFORE SOMEONE IS SERIOUSLY INJURED OR KILLED. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER CHRYSLER PRODUCT BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT FIX THIS PROBLEM, ALWAYS SAY THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. *TR

THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED AND STATED THERE WAS NOT A RECALL RELATED TO THE DEFECT. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 123,000.
I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE LISTED ABOVE IN 2011 AT CITY AUTO PLAZA WHILE UNDER WARRANTY. THE VEHICLE SERVED MY PURPOSE AS IT WAS FOR WORK AND NOW SCHOOL ONLY FUEL EFFICIENT. ABOUT 6 OR 7 MONTHS AGO I BEGAN TO EXPERIENCE AN INTERMITTENT PROBLEM WITH VEHICLE IT WOULD CRANK BUT NOT START. I WOULD HAVE THE VEHICLE TOWED TO MY LOCAL MECHANIC AND NOT FAULTY CODES WERE DISCOVERED. THIS HAPPENED ABOUT THREE OR FOUR TIMES UNTIL FRUSTRATED I PARKED THE VEHICLE AROUND THE FIRST OF FEBRUARY 2013 AND USED MY OTHER VEHICLE FOR SCHOOL. THE OTHER DAY I DECIDED TO HAVE THE VEHICLE LOOKED AT BY ANOTHER LOCAL DEALERSHIP NEAR MY HOME NOT THE CHRYSLER DEALERSHIP WERE PURCHASED MY DEALING WITH THE DEALERSHIP FOLKS ARE NOT POSITIVE OR BENEFICIAL TO ME. THE MECHANIC AT BUDDY RAYS AUTO CARE IN CANON CITY CHECKED THE VEHICLE AND TRACED THE PROBLEM TO A CONNECTION WIRING SYSTEM THAT WAS ATTACHED TO THE FUEL PUMP. FROM THEIR EXPLANATION THE VEHICLE WAS IN DANGER OF CATCHING FIRE IF THIS PROBLEM PERSISTED. I CONTACTED MY LOCAL DEALERSHIP IN AN ATTEMPT TO REPORT THIS MATTER AND THEY HAVE NOT ASSISTED TELLING ME INSTEAD THAT THE CAR HAD TO BE IN THEIR SHOP. BECAUSE OF THE DANGER POSED BY THIS PROBLEM I HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE REPAIRED AT A COST OF 765.00 DOLLARS TO REPLACE THE FUEL PUMP, AND WIRING CONNECTORS PLUS LABOR. MY CONCERN FOR THIS CAR HAVING LESS THAN 100,000 MILES IN MY OPINION SHOULD NOT HAVE FACE THIS TYPE OF MALFUNCTION IN THE FUEL AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. *TR
