CAR CONTINUES TO RUN HOT. REPALCED THE THERMOSTAT WATER PUMP. HAVE NOT DRIVEN CAR IN 2 MONTHS. AS LONG AS THE CAR IS NOT IN MOTIONIS DOES NOT RUN HOT. AFTER PUTTING MORE FLUIDIN THE CAR, NOW THE DRIP HAS BECOME LEAK. THERE IS A (Z) ELECTRICAL LOOKING SYMBOL ONTHE DASH IN RED. CITY STREET
My 2012 Dodge Charger was bought used and it had been recently repaired and recalls performed on it. (The dealership was nice to point that out to me.) in Dec 2020 Wa. state. I have had nothing but problems with it. About a month later I had smelled smoke. I had my car scanned and it said camshaft needed to be replaced. So I did. It has stalled and seized up without warning. I was only going 40 miles an hour when the steering went hard( could not move or control it) The dashboard went black and I tried to pull it to the shoulder. The engine was still on. I would put the gas on ... but it had died. There was one other vehicle on the road at that time following me. He went around just in time. This not only happened once but two times. Since the car was a dodge i went to that dealership. A couple of times telling then the problem. They just wanted to scan the vehicle for $85.00 PER SCAN. The young man that was helping me keep looking at the computer screen . I asked if I could have a copy of what he was looking at and he said "yes". This sheet of paper was called the VIP Summary report. I was not the VIP the dealership was There was a WARNING MESSAGES in bold print. It read ATTENTION "This vehicle may have had 9 visits, 42 days down and 7 repeat repairs. Service personal should contact management and engage FCA service parts resources ' This was at 5:09pm I left. I noticed a very well dressed man sitting in his car looking at me... HUMM... LEMON LAW PERHAPS
WHILE DRIVING MY 2012 DODGE CHARGER, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. I TOOK IT TO A MECHANIC. THE MECHANIC IMMEDIATELY DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM AS A TUNE UP WAS NEEDED. SO I PAID MONEY FOR THAT. AFTER GETTING THE CAR BACK HOME, I DROVE IT AROUND THE CORNER TO THE GAS STATION AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AGAIN. I TOOK IT THEN FOR FURTHER DIAGNOSING, WENT BACK TO MY MECHANIC, ONLY TO FIND OUT THE LIFTER ON THE CAM SHAFT IS BAD. ACCORDING TO MY MECHANIC, AND 3 OTHER CERTIFIED MECHANICS, AND FROM DOING ALL MY RESEARCH, THIS PROBLEM IS EXTREMELY COMMON WITH THIS PARTICULAR ENGINE. I AM USUALLY ALONE WITH A SMALL CHILD TO TRANSPORT AROUND TOWN. THIS PROBLEM NEEDS TO BE RECALLED IMMEDIATELY! I WANT TO REMAIN A FAITHFUL CUSTOMER TO DODGE, BUT I'M SURE THEY ARE AWARE OF THIS VERY COMMON PROBLEM. IF THEY DON'T RECALL THIS, I WILL NOT EVER PURCHASE ANOTHER DODGE VEHICLE AGAIN. TO DATE, I HAVE OWNED 4 OF THEM.
The contact owns a 2012 DODGE CHARGER. The contact stated that a fluid leak would circulate through the engine block. Due to this failure, the contact stated that the vehicle would stall out without warning. The contact had taken the vehicle to several independent mechanics and each time the failure persisted. The contact then took the vehicle to a dealer where he was informed that there were 2 recalls on his vehicle NHTSA Campaign Number: 17V435000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) and NHTSA Campaign Number: 12V197000(SERVICE BRAKES, AIR, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM). The contact stated that his vehicle was then towed to the dealer for repair; however, the contact was informed that the parts for the repair were on backorder. The manufacture was notified of the failure and have not given him an update. The vehicle remained in the possession of the dealer. The failure mileage was 160,000.
I HAVE AN ENGINE LIGHT TOOK IT TO THE MECHANIC, THE OIL SENSOR WAS CHANGED 2 TIMES, THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT WAS DELETED TWICE AND STILL COME BACK ON, AS RESULT I CANT USE THE REMOTE STARTED AND EVEN THE DEALER DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. AM I THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS ISSUE>? *TR
POWER STEERING FUSES KEEP BLOWING WHEN TURNING, WHICH CAUSING IT TO BE VERY DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER ESPECIALLY WHILE DRIVING. ALMOST CAUSE AN ACCIDENT .
MY AIRBAG LIGHT IS ON WHEN AM DRIVING
MY CAR TURNED OFF ON ME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FREEWAY. IT WAS THE STARTER THAT WENT OUT AND THE ALTERNATOR.
MY ALTERNATOR OR STARTER WENT OUT MY CAR STOPPED ON ME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FREEWAY. IT WOULD NOT TURN OVER WHEN I TRY TO START. I HAD TO GET A TOW TRUCK TO TAKE THE VEHICLE TO MY HOME. ALSO THE FRONT HEADLIGHT HARNESS BURNT OUT AND I HAD TO PUT ANOTHER OBE WHICH DOES NOT WORK SOMETIMES
WHEN STARTING MY CAR THE RADIO SOMETIMES DON'T COME ON. I HAVE TO PUT THE CAR IN PARK SHUT OFF THE CAR AND RESTART IT IN ORDER FOR THE RADIO TO COME ON. WHEN DRIVING AND LISTENING TO THE RADIO IT GOES IN AND OUT AS IF THE DJ IS TRYING TO BLOCK OUT PROFANTIY BUT THAT'S NOT THE CASE. ALSO, WHEN DRIVING AND I MAKE A U-TURN IT FEELS AS IF THE STEERING WHEEL IS TRYING TO LOCK UP.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE TEST DROVE THE VEHICLE PREVIOUSLY TO PURCHASING AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE BRAKES WERE JUST SERVICED AS THE REASON FOR THE BRAKES BEING SLOW TO STOP THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT DURING THE TEST DRIVE THE BRAKE WARNING LIGHT WAS ILLUMINATED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT A POLICE REPORT WAS FILED. THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A COLLISION REPAIR SHOP. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE SUSTAINED BRUISING ON THE REAR OF THE LEG THAT REQUIRED NO MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE AND INFORMED THE CONTACT THE ALL RECALLS HAD BEEN COMPLETED ON THE VEHICLE. THE CONTACT MENTIONED NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 12V197000 (SERVICE BRAKES, AIR, ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) AS A CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE DEALER INFORMED HIM THAT THE VEHICLE WAS PREVIOUSLY USED AS AN UNDERCOVER POLICE VEHICLE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 49,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITH THE CHECK ENGINE WARNING ILLUMINATED. THERE WAS AN ABNORMAL SOUND COMING FROM THE ENGINE. THE CONTACT ATTEMPTED TO TURN THE VEHICLE OFF AND BACK ON WHICH FAILED TO RESUME BACK TO NORMAL. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE DIAGNOSED. THE MECHANIC DETERMINED THAT A CYLINDER MISFIRED AND THAT THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS UNSAFE TO DRIVE. ROSEVILLE CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE RAM (2805 LONG LAKE RD, ROSEVILLE, MN 55113, (651) 964-6390) WAS CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE VIN WAS NOT UNDER RECALL. THE MANUFACTURER WAS CONTACTED AND STATED THAT THE WARRANTY WAS EXPIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 170,000.
FUEL LEAK FROM PASSENGER SIDE FUEL PUMP. AFTER FUELING VEHICLE. AND FUEL SMELL IN VEHICLE. I JUST HOPE NO ONE SMOKES NEXT TO MY CAR. FROM THE RESEARCH I HAVE DONE THIS IS A ON GOING PROBLEM. DODGE NEEDS TO FIX THIS PROBLEM FOR GOOD.
ENGINE MAKES A WEIRD NOISE WHEN YOU TURN IT ON AND HAVE IT RUNNING SORTA SOUNDS LIKE A TRUCK. BRAKES DON'T WORK SOMETIMES YOU GOTTA STEP ON THE BREAK PETAL ALL THE WAY IN IF NOT YOU COULD POSSIBLY CRASH OR HIT ANOTHER CAR PARKED NEAR BY. THE CONTROL ARMS GET STOCK A BIT WHEN DOING A TURN ON 25MPH-30MPH
I WAS DRIIVNG ON THE INTERSTATE AND MY CAR SHUT OFF BY ITSELF. I TRIED TO RESTART BUT NO LUCK. I FOUND OUT THAT THE TIMING CHAIN BROKE OFF. I KNOW THERES BEEN RECALL ON THE TIMING CHAIN BEFORE.
VEHICLE TRUNK OPENS ON IT'S OWN WHEN YOU FIRST START VEHICLE. THIS ALSO DRAINS THE BATTERY. TRUNK OPENS ELECTRICALLY. THIS HAS HAPPENED ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM SHORTED TWICE WHILE DRIVING. AUTO PARK DISABLED MESSAGE CAME ON, TOUCH SCREEN WENT ALL WHITE THEN CUT OFF, SPEEDOMETER AND GAS GAUGE FLUTTERING. HAPPENED TWICE WHILE DRIVING ON FREEWAY DURING 4 MILE STRETCH.
I BOUGHT A USED 2012 DODGE CHARGER AND HAD EVERYTHING CHECKED OUT BY BIG O TIRES PRIOR TO PURCHASE. A FEW DAYS LATER, MY HUSBAND WAS STUCK AT THE GAS STATION BECAUSE THE GEAR SHIFT WOULD NOT COME OUT OF PARK. THIS HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES IN VARIOUS PLACES AND WEATHER CONDITIONS AND THE DEALER CANNOT FIGURE OUT WHAT IS WRONG. THE BRAKE SWITCH IS GOOD, WE HAD THE WHOLE GEAR SHIFT ASSEMBLY REPLACED AND STILL HAVE THE PROBLEM. UPON WATCHING YOU TUBE VIDEOS, IT MUST BE THE TRANSMISSION INTERLOCK SWITCH (THE INFAMOUS PINK PLASTIC PIECE) THAT DODGE/CHRYSLER OWNERS ARE HAVING ISSUES WITH. THERE WAS A RECALL ON 2005-07 DODGE CHARGERS TO REPLACE THE PINK TRANSMISSION SHIFT INTERLOCK LATCH THAT BREAKS AND PREVENTS VEHICLES FROM SHIFTING OUT OF PARK. MY 2012 AND MANY VEHICLES AFTER 2007 ARE ALSO AFFECTED. I AM CURRENTLY WAITING FOR THE DEALER TO REPLACE THIS PART. I WOULD LIKE TO REQUEST THIS RECALL TO BE EXTENDED TO INCLUDE MODEL YEARS AFTER 2007, TO INCLUDE MY 2012 CHARGER.

THE CONTACT ENGAGED THE EMERGENCY BRAKE TO STOP THE VEHICLE. ADDITIONALLY, WHILE SHOVELING SNOW, THE VEHICLE MOVED BACKWARDS WHILE THE GEAR SHIFTER WAS IN PARK. THE CONTACT JUMPED IN THE VEHICLE AND DEPRESSED THE BRAKE PEDAL. THERE WERE NO WARNING INDICATORS ILLUMINATED. THE LOCAL DEALER AND MANUFACTURER WERE NOT CONTACTED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 109,919.
POWER STEERING FAILS, MAKING IT DIFFICULT TO MANEUVER HARD TURNS. THIS HAS CAUSED ME TO GO OFF THE ROAD AND NEARLY WRECK/STRIKE OTHER CARS. AFTER MUCH RESEARCH THIS IS A COMMON ISSUE IN THESE CARS. IT OCCURS AT CITY AND HIGHWAY SPEEDS. IT'S HARD TO STEER AT HIGH AND LOW SPEEDS.
THIRD TIME CHANGING THE LIGHT BULB AND THE WIRES FOR MY HEADLIGHT (LOW BEAM) AND STILL HAVING PROBLEMS, FEW FRIENDS OF MINE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM. LOW BEAM GOES OFF WHILE DRIVING.
AIR BAG ALERT, CAR IS VIBRATING AFTER 70 MPH.
AFTER STARTING THE VEHICLE, THE WIPERS WENT ON WITHOUT ME TURNING THEM ON. THEY CONSTANTLY STAY ON WHILE THE VEHICLE IS ON UNLESS I PULL THE RELAY OUT. THE TURN SIGNAL/WIPER CONTROL SWITCH DOES NOT HAVE ANY CONTROL OVER THEM BEING ON/OFF, THE SPEED, AND THE WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID.
I WAS DRIVING MY 2012 DODGE CHARGER WHEN MY ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON, A FEW MINUTES AFTER THE ENGINE LIGHT STARTED FLASHING AND RUNNING ROUGH. I TOOK THE CAR TO AUTO ZONE FOR DIAGNOSTIC WHICH STATED THAT PO303 MISFIRED 3 TIMES. TOOK IT TO A MECHANIC WHICH CHANGED OUT MY SPARK PLUG AND COIL WHICH WENT AWAY FOR A FEW MINUTES BUT ENGINE LIGHT RETURNED AND FLASHED WITH SAME REACTION. I RETURNED BACK TO THE MECHANIC WHICH HAD TO DIG DEEPER OF WHAT WAS CAUSING THE SPARK PLUG AND COIL TO MISFIRE AND FOUND IT WAS THE LIFTER. IT IS MY UNDERSTANDING THAT THERE ARE MANY DODGE CHARGERS WITH THIS SAME PROBLEM AND DO NOT FEEL THAT WE SHOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR CHRYSLER/DODGE ERROR/PROBLEM AND I AM PLEADING THAT THIS BECOMES A RECALL FOR CHRYSLER TO OWN UP TO THEIR RESPONSIBILITY AS THEY KNOW THAT IT IS AN ISSUE AS THEY ARE MAKING SURE THEIR NEWER CHARGERS DON'T HAVE THIS PROBLEM.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO SWANTY'S CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM OF BULLHEAD CITY (LOCATED AT 2494 AZ-95, BULLHEAD CITY, AZ 86442, (928) 704-2222) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED WITH NEEDING THE MASTER CYLINDER REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 83,097.
HAD THE AIR BAG RECALL FIXED BUT YET THE AIR BAG LIGHT STILL COMES ON ALL THE TIME AND AND OUT OF NO WHERE MY CAR FILLS LIKE THE TRANSMISSION IS BOUT TO GO OUT IT JERKS WHEN YOU PRESS ON THE GAS COUNTRY ROADS AND WHEN STOP IT IDLES LIKE IT'S TRYING TO STALL OUT
TIRE RIMS SUBJECT TO CRACKING, WHICH WILL REDUCE TIRE PRESSURE. TWO OF FOUR RIMS HAVE MINOR CRACKS WHICH REDUCED TIRE PRESSURE
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR ILLUMINATED AND HE WAS CONCERNED FOR THE SAFETY OF HIS FAMILY AND HIMSELF. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTIFICATION FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V352000 (AIR BAGS) AND TOOK THE VEHICLE TO FREMONT CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM (39639 BALENTINE DR, CA 94560, (510) 279-4588) TO BE REPAIRED. AFTER THE REPAIR WAS COMPLETED, THE AIR BAG WARNING INDICATOR REMAINED ILLUMINATED. THE DEALER DID NOT REPAIR THE AIR BAG WARNING FAILURE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 98,199. THE VIN WAS INVALID.
WHILE STOPPED AT A TRAFFIC LIGHT NEAR A BUSY INTERSECTION, THERE WAS A LOUD POP FROM UNDERNEATH THE HOOD WHICH WAS FOLLOWED BY THE VEHICLE SHAKING AND STALLING. I IMMEDIATELY TURNED ON MY HAZARD LIGHTS AND ATTEMPTED TO MOVE OUT OF THE FLOW OF TRAFFIC. UPON INSPECTION, ENGINE COOLANT WAS LEAKING AND PARTS OF THE FAN BLADE WERE FOUND UNDERNEATH THE CAR. IT WAS APPARENT THAT THE CONDENSER FAN HAD BROKEN OFF AND DAMAGED THE RADIATOR. ALL OF THE FAN'S BLADES WERE GONE AND SCATTERED UNDERNEATH THE HOOD AND HIGHWAY. THE INCIDENT HAPPENED LATE THURSDAY EVENING AND UNFORTUNATELY, I CANNOT GET IT IN TO BE REPAIRED UNTIL MID NEXT WEEK AS THE PARTS HAVE TO BE INSPECTED AND ORDERED. I HAVE A FAMILY MEMBER THAT IS A MECHANIC AND HE HELPED TO GET ME AND MY KIDS HOME SAFELY. UPON REVIEW OF THE DODGE SITE, THERE HAVE BEEN CUSTOMER SATISFACTION NOTIFICATIONS FOR THE ENGINE COOLING FANS FOR OTHER MAKES AND MODELS WITH REPAIR ASSISTANCE, BUT THE 2012 CHARGER IS NOT LISTED AS ONE OF THEM. HOWEVER, THE EXACT SAME ISSUE DESCRIBED IS WHAT HAS OCCURRED WITH MY VEHICLE THIS WEEK. DODGE STATED THAT THIS IS NOT A CURRENT RECALL ISSUE HOWEVER, WITH MY EXPERIENCE I FEEL THIS IS SOMETHING THAT WARRANTS ATTENTION BECAUSE HAD THE VEHICLE BEEN IN MOTION, THIS COULD'VE BEEN A HAZARDOUS SITUATION FOR MY FAMILY, PEDESTRIANS, AND OTHER DRIVERS.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO CROSSROADS CHRYSLER (4510 WHITEHILL BLVD, PRINCE GEORGE, VA) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE AIR BAG WIRE HARNESS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 85,000.
FRONT PASSENGER WINDOW WILL STOP WHEN BY ITS SELF WHEN CLOSING OR USING AUTOMATIC CLOSING. HAPPENS WHEN VEHICLE IS PARKED OR IN MOTION. DIFFERENTIAL BEARINGS HAVE BEEN WEARING DOWN QUICKLY.

1.THE WIRING TO THE HEADLIGHTS KEEPS BURNING INTO AND IT HAS BEEN REPLACED TWICE ALREADY. 2. THE RADIO DOESN'T COME ON WHEN I START THE CAR; I HAVE TO SHUT IT OFF AND RESTART IT SOMETIMES SEVERAL TIMES TO GET EVERYTHING CONNECTED. 3. I HAVE HAD TO HAVE MY CAR ALIGNED 4 TIMES IN 9 MONTHS AND BOUGHT 2 SETS OF TIRES BECAUSE IT WILL NOT KEEP THE ALIGNMENT. THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR OVER A YEAR AND THE RADIO AND LIGHTS HAS BEEN HAPPENING FOR MUCH LONGER. WHAT CAN YOU TELL ME ABOUT THESE PROBLEMS?

THE CONTACT DISABLED THE STEERING WHEEL AND CHANGED THE ELECTRIC POWER STEERING PUMP ON HIS OWN. THE FAILURE WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. I GET A STRONG RESISTANT WHEN TRING TO TURN LEFT I CAN'T MAKE A SHARP LEFT TURN IT'S REALLY DANGEROUS
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE CHARGER. WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH, THE VEHICLE DECELERATED, JERKED FORWARD, AND THE CHECK ENGINE INDICATOR ILLUMINATED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE TORQUE CONVERTER "STUCK OFF" (CODE NUMBER: P0741). THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO ANOTHER INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHO DIAGNOSED THAT THE TRANSMISSION NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND PROVIDED THE CONTACT WITH A CASE NUMBER. THE MANUFACTURER STATED THAT THE CONTACT WOULD BE PROVIDED A RENTAL VEHICLE AND ASSISTANCE TOWARDS THE REPAIR COST. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN BACK TO WHERE IT WAS PURCHASED (YUCCA VALLEY CHRYSLER CENTER (760-228-1818, LOCATED AT 57909 29 PALMS HWY, YUCCA VALLEY, CA 92284). THE DEALER KEPT THE VEHICLE FOR EVALUATION. THE CONTACT WAS NOT CALLED BACK. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 75,000.
TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2012 DODGE CHARGER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE SUN ROOF WOULD NOT OPEN PROPERLY. THE CONTACT HAD TO PRESS THE OPEN SWITCH MORE THAN A FEW TIMES. OCASIONALLY, THE SUN ROOF BECAME STUCK AND WOULD NOT OPEN OR CLOSE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO TOM DAVIS DODGE CHRYSLER (214 TX-332, LAKE JACKSON, TX 77566, (979) 258-1519), BUT THE CONTACT DID NOT WANT TO PAY $100 FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT DIAGNOSED OR REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 80,000.
TIMING CHAIN SNAPPED WHILE DRIVING. I HAVE THE 5.7 LITER V8 HEMI. I HAVE READ A LOT OF COMPLAINTS IN REGARDS TO THE SAME ISSUE. MY VEHICLE HAS ONLY 105K MILES ON IT.
I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT IN REGARDS TO THE ISSUE PREVIOUSLY, BUT NEW INFORMATION THAT MOPAR ISSUED A CAMPAIGN TO RECALL THE TIMING CHAIN ON OVER 50K VEHICLE FOR THIS ISSUE BUT MOPAR REFUSED TO COVER MY TIMING CHAIN DUE TO MY VEHICLE HAD TO MANY MILES AND I AM NOT THE FIRST OWNER. I FIND IT COMPLETELY UNSAFE TO HAVE A TIMING CHAIN SNAP WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED. I WAS ATTEMPTING TO TURN ON A MAIN STREET WHEN THIS ISSUE OCCURED. PLEASE ADVISE IF ANYTHING FURTHER COMES. AT ABOUT 75,000 MILES, THE VEHICLE WOULD LOSE POWER WHILE I WAS DRIVNG THEN SURGE AND LUNGE FORWARD. AT THAT POINT MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. SCARED THE DAYLIGHTS OUT OF ME. IT HAPPENED WHEN I WAS ON THE 10 FREEWAY COMING HOME. I HAVE TAKEN THE VEHICLE TO TWO MECHANICS. THE TORQUE CONVERTER IS STUCK CLOSED. I WAS TOLD BY BOTH MECHANICS THAT I NEED A NEW TRANSMISSION? IT'S THE TORQUE CONVERTER. IT IS A HAZARD FOR THE CAR TO SURGE AND LUNGE; CAN CAUSE A SERIOUS ACCIDENT! HOW CAN I NEED A NEW TRANSMISSION WHEN IT STARTED @ 72,000 MILES. BAD PARTS. PLEASE REVIEW THIS PROBLEM. I NEED HELP!!!!! PLEASE CONSIDER AND REVIEW. I CANT AFFORD A NEW TRANSMISSION.!!! IT JUST DOESNT SEEM LOGICAL. MY BRAKES ARE FAILING SOMETIMES THE PEDAL GOES DOWN TO THE BOTTOM AND LOSES THE BRAKE AND WHEN I TURN OFF THE CAR AND PUMP THE PEDAL IT WORKS AGAIN

2 OF THE 4 BOLT HEADS SHEARED OFF OF THE REAR CONNECTING POINTS ON THE ENGINE CRADLE. DRIVERS SIDE TIME IS UNKNOWN. PASSENGER SIDE HAPPENED IN MY DRIVEWAY WHEN CAR WAS COMING IN TO PARK. SEE PHOTOS. IF THE PASSENGER SIDE BOLT HEAD HAD SHEARED OFF ON THE ROAD, I WOULD HAVE CONTINUED TO DRIVE THE CAR. COULD THIS HAVE CAUSED A SEVERE ACCIDENT WHILE DOING THE COMMON SPEED LIMIT OF 75MPH? THEN THE ACTUAL CAUSE OF THE ACCIDENT WOULD HAVE BEEN OVERLOOKED AS THE SHEARED BOLT HEADS WOULD HAVE BEEN CONTRIBUTED TO THE ACCIDENT. CAUSE OF FAILURE HAS BEEN ATTRIBUTED TO RUST, BUT I CANNOT SEE A 1/2 BOLT RUSTING THROUGH IN 7 YEARS, EVEN IF 5 YEARS WERE SPENT IN NORTHERN OHIO. REPAIRS COST OVER $3800.00
HAD A PREVIOUS RECALL ON AN ISSUE WITH DRIVERS AIR BAG THAT WAS CORRECTED BUT THE AIRBAG LIGHT CONTINUES TO COME ON AND RING I BELIEVE THIS MODEL IS ALSO PART OF THE CURRENT AIRBAG RECALL BUT MY VIN SAYS NO RECALLS AT THIS TIME I BELIEVE THAT TO BE INCORRECT
