Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)I WENT TO MY LOCAL DODGE DEALERSHIP ABOUT MY 2016 CHARGER HAVING IT'S WINDSHIELD AT 3 YEARS OLD DELAMINATING ALL AROUND IT. I THEN CONTACTED CUNSUMER COMPLAINTS THROUGH DODGE W6 SAID I OWN THIS 100 PERCENT. WHO HAS A WINDSHIELD DO THIS AT 3 YEARS OLD? DEFECT? I SAY YES! I HAVE OWNED 3 AND THIS IS THE ONLY ONE TO DO IT AND I BOUGHT IT NEW. PLEASE CHECK FOR FURTHER ISSUES. I CAN'T BE THE ONLY ONE.
VERY DECREASED VISIBILITY IN WINDSHIELD WHEN SUN HITS IT. LOOKS LIKE MICRO SHATTERS IN THE WINDSHIELD. UNABLE TO GET TO IT, LIKE THE "MILLIONS OF SPARKLES" ARE INSIDE THE GLASS. UNABLE TO MAKE OUT ANYTHING IN FRONT OF THE CAR EXCEPT BIG SHAPES (CAR, TRUCK, ETC). THIS HAPPENS WHENEVER THE SUN IS IN FRONT OF YOU, MORNING AND EVENING COMMUTE IS WHEN IT HAPPENS TO ME EVERY DAY. THE CAR CAN BE IN MOTION OR SITTING STILL, WHEREVER YOU ARE.
Complaints are unverified consumer reports submitted to NHTSA. A high complaint count may reflect vehicle popularity, not defect severity. Data sourced from NHTSA public records.
