WHILE MAKING A RIGHT OR LEFT TURN WITH 4-WHEEL DRIVE ENGAGED STEERING WHEEL WOULD BECOME HARD, BINDING OR WOULD LOSE POWER COMPLETELY. *AK
CONSUMER COMPLAINED ABOUT UPPER AND LOWER BALL JOINTS FAILURE. THIS PROBLEM WAS DIAGNOSED WHEN THE CONSUMER TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR AN INSPECTION. *AK THE BRAKE BULB LIGHT WAS REPLACED AND THE FRONT SHOCKS WERE REPLACED. *JB
WHILE DRIVING, THE CONSUMER SAYS THE FRONT END FELT LOOSE. THE UPPER BALL WERE REPLACED BUT THE STEERING WHEEL IS HARD TO TURN. PLEASE PROVIDE FURTHER DETAILS.
WHEN EITHER TURNING THE STEERING WHEEL TO THE RIGHT OR LEFT THERE WOULD BE A GRINDING OR CRUNCHING NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT. NOISE COULD BE HEARD WHEN BACKING UP OR GOING FORWARD. VEHICLE HAD NOT BEEN TAKEN TO DEALERSHIP TO BE CHECKED OUT.*AK
WHILE MAKING RIGHT HAND TURNS CONSUMER HEARD A CLICKING NOISE. TOOK VEHICLE TO TWO DIFFERENT DEALERSHIPS AT LEAST 6 TIMES. ONE DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE CLOCK SPRING TWICE. THE OTHER DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE CLOCK SPRING ONCE. HOWEVER, PROBLEM WAS NOT RESOLVED. EACH TIME THE MECHANICS INDICATED THAT CLICKING NOISE PROBLEM COULD NOT BE HEARD OR LOCATED. VEHICLE HAD BEEN TEST DRIVEN BY THE MECHANICS WITH CONSUMER IN VEHICLE.*AK
WHILE DRIVING 5 MPH CONSUMER NOTICED VEHICLE PULLING TO THE RIGHT. CONSUMER STOPPED THE VEHICLE, GOT OUT TO INSPECT IT, AND NOTICED THE RIGHT WHEEL SEPARATED FROM THE CONTROL ARM. VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO A MECHANIC WHO DETERMINED THAT BOTH CONTROL ARMS FAILED.*AK
CONSUMER COMPLAINED ABOUT A BALL JOINT PROBLEM. THE TIRES ARE WEARING OUT UNEVENLY, AND A WHEEL ALIGNMENT IS IMPOSSIBLE UNTIL THE BALL JOINTS HAVE BEEN REPLACED. *AK
THE CONSUMER HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE BALL JOINTS. THE OWNER HAS ALREADY REPLACED THE BALL JOINTS ONCE AND NOW THEY NEED REPLACING AGAIN. THIS VEHICLE WAS PURCHASED NEW AND HAD LESS THAN 30,000 MILES. PROVIDE FURTHER DETAILS. *JB

WHILE DRIVING DRIVER HIT A POT HOLE AND THE FRONT RIGHT TIRE POPPED OFF DUE TO A BROKEN UPPER RIGHT BALL JOINT.*AK
THE CONSUMER HEARD A NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE. THE CONSUMER WAS INFORMED THAT THE LOWER BALL JOINTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED PER INSPECTION OF THE DEALERSHIP. *AK *SC *JB
THE IGNITION SWITCH OVERHEATED AND MELTED, CAUSING THE IGNITION TO MALFUNCTION. *AK
WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH VEHICLE VIBRATED. CONSUMER WAS ABLE TO MAINTAIN CONTROL OF THE VEHICLE, AND DROVE IT TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION. MECHANIC INFORMED DETERMINED THAT THE UPPER AND LOWER BALL JOINTS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. *AK
A SQUEAKING NOISE WAS HEARD FROM UNDER THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE WHEN TURNING. WHILE DRIVING ON THE A BUMPY FREEWAY VEHICLE PULLED TO THE LEFT WHEN IT WENT OVER A BUMP. VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALERSHIP, WHO INDICATED THAT THE FRONT UPPER BALL JOINTS HAD PREMATURELY WORN OUT WHICH CAUSED THE FRONT TIRES TO WEAR. *AK
WHILE DRIVING AND APPLYING THE BRAKES VEHICLE LURCHED FORWARD. VEHICLE HAS HAD THIS PROBLEM FOR OVER A YEAR. VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN ONE COLLISION, AND WAS BEING SUED. THERE WERE NO INJURIES OR FATALITIES. *AK
