My car has had 2 repairs for fuel pump relay issues. 2014 and 2020. recently, I noticed while driving my car will stall while accelerating on the highway. I had to pull over into emergency lane 3 times during 1 trip before, because the car stalled while driving. Just recently I noticed and took videos/pictures of the car going 40 mph but the RPM moving sporadically between 0-7000. It has always felt like a fuel pump issue but dodge servicers does not know whats going on. There was never a warning light until it stalled recently. Red lightning bolt popped up. I have pictures if that also.

The manufacturer was notified of the failure, but no assistance was offered. The contact was informed that the VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V813000 (Electrical System). The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The local dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 136,000.

After the vehicle cool down the contact was able to restart the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 164,000.
The vehicle shutdown and steering is not responsive. I have to quickly put the vehicle in neutral and power on the vehicle again without getting into an accident.
MY 2011 DURANGO HAD FUEL RELAY RECALL FIX DONE 01/11/2021. 01/22/2021 10:25PM I WAS NEGOTIATING 'IN MOTION' A LEFT TURN AND ENGINE TURNED OFF LIKE IT HAS SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE LEAVING ME IN THE MIDDLE OFF TRAFFIC. I WAS LUCKY YET AGAIN NOT BE KILLED
We received notice, by mail, of a safety recall (19V-813) on our Dodge Durango in Jan 2021. We made an appt for 1/13 at Bob Baker Dodge in Carlsbad, CA. Upon arrival, we were told the part was backordered and they would call us when it arrived. Juan Gonzalez was the service advisor we spoke with. In May, after no call, our vehicle began showing signs of the problem. Hesitating, failing to start. We called Juan who stated there were still no parts and he wasn't allowed to keep a list of customers waiting for parts since it would be too extensive. We called Dodge (maybe Mopar) corporate (800-853-1403) on 6/1. Aby gave us a few other dealers to try. After no luck with them, we called back. Tim claimed he would escalate our case and promised someone would call us within 24 hours. After receiving no call, we called again on 6/3. Pam said that our case was never escalated. And had no solution for us. Given the safety recall states "A vehicle stall while driving can cause a vehicle crash without prior warning" we've now rented a car since we're not comfortable driving our Durango. I feel both Dodge/Mopar and our local dealer are simply dragging their feet on this safety recall.

RECALLED 11/14/2019 V62/NHTSA 19-V813. NO AS OF THIS DATE. DIFFICULT STARTING, HAS STALLED SEVERAL TIMES IN CITY TRAFFIC. HAVE TO WAIT SEVERAL MINUTES AND PRAY IT STARTS. AFRAID ONE OF THESE DAYS IT WILL NOT START, STALL ON THE HIGHWAY AND CAUSE ACCIDENT. HAS BEEN ON GOING SINCE AUGUST AND TODAY AS WELL. NO RESOLUTION AND I AM SCARED

2011 DODGE DURANGO CREW AWD 3.6L I HAVE BEEN EXPERICENCING NO START OR STALL OUT ON THE TRUCK. I HAVE TAKEN THE TRUCK TO ANCHORAGE CHRYSLER DODGE IN ANCHORAGE ALASKA FOR FUEL PUMP RELAY RECALL REPAIR. THEY STATED THAT OVER THE 3 DAY THEY HAD MY TRUCK THAT IT STARTED EVERY TIME BUT DID STALL OUT TWICE. THEY HAVE REFUSED TO FIX THE RECALL STATING THAT THE NO START ISSUE DID NOT HAPPEN WHILE IN THERE CARE BUT THAT IT DID START AND STALL OUT. IT WAS SUGGESTED TO ME BY THE SERVICE MANAGER THAT NEXT TIME I HAVE THE ISSUE TO HAVE IT TOWED TO ANCHORAGE CHRYSLER DODGE. MY VEHICLE WILL AT RANDOM NOT START OR WILL START AND STALL OUT. THE DEALERSHIP STATES THEY FOUND NOTHING WRONG WITH MY VEHICLE EVEN THOUGH THEY DID STATE THAT IT WOULD START AND STALL OUT FOR THEM.
THE VEHICLE SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY (IN MOTION). HAVE HAD IT LOOKED AT AND REPAIRED MULTIPLE TIMES. THE VEHICLE HAS A HISTORY OF NOT STARTING AFTER IT HAS BEEN SHUT OFF FOR A FEW MINUTES(STATIONARY). AFTER MANY SERVICE REPAIRS AND THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS SPENT THE CAR STILL WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY. THE RECALL CAME OUT NOVEMBER 14, 2019, AND HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT THERE WASN'T AN AVAILABLE PART FOR THIS RECALL AS OF 12/5/2020.
HAVE TRIED THREE TIME TO GET MCKENNY DODGE TO FIX SAFETY RECALL FOR TOTALLY INTEGRATED POWER MODULE BUT CONTINUE TO BE TOLD THE PARTS FOR A FIX HAVE NOT BEEN PROVIDED. EARLIER THIS YEAR THE CAR INTERMITTENTLY LOST POWER AND THEY REPLACED THE OIL PUMP ($1432). NOW I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AND THEY REPLACED CAM POSITION SENSOR ($280) BUT 'CHECK ENGINE LIGHT' STILL ON AND PROBLEM STILL EXISTS SO NOW THEY WANT TO REPLACE THE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH AND OIL FILTER HOUSING FOR OVE $1,000. BUT WITH NO ASSURANCE THAT IT FIXES THE PROBLEM. COULD THE RECALL ISSUE WITH YHE INTERNAL FUEL PUMP RELAY BE CAUSING THE INTERMITTENT HESITATION. WHY WOULD THIS RECALL THAT COULD CAUSE 'AN INTERMITTENT OR FAILED FUEL PUMP RELAY' THAT COULD 'CAUSE THE ENGINE TO STALL WHILE DRIVING AND CAUSE A CRASH WITHOUT WARNING' NOT BE FIXED AFTER BEING IDENTIFIED OVER A YEAR AGO.

A RECALL FOR THE FUEL PUMP RELAY WAS ISSUED 8 MONTHS AGO AND NO REMEDY IS AVAILABLE YET. THE LETTER I RECEIVED STATES THAT IT CAN CAUSE AN ENGINE STALL RESULTING IN A CRASH. DOES THE MANUFACTURER HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO REMEDY THE PROBLEM WITHIN A SPECIFIED AMOUNT OF TIME? ACCORDING TO YOUR WEBSITE, THIS VEHICLE HAS HAD 8 RECALLS. WHAT OPTIONS DO I HAVE?
I WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND, LOST POWER AND IT STARTED SLOWING DOWN. I GOT IN THE RIGHT LANE AND COASTED TO SIDE OF ROAD. I CUT ENGINE OFF AND THAT WAS IT. I TRIED TO RE START AND IT JUST KEPT TURNING OVER. IT IT ONLY HAVE 61,522 MILES ON IT. MANCANIC CAME OUT AND SAID IT'S THE FUEL PUMP.

THE VEHICLE WAS TOWED TO TRONCALLI CHRYSLER JEEP DODGE (818 ATLANTA HWY, CUMMING, GA 30040) WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE FUEL PUMP NEEDED REPLACEMENT. THE CONTACT ALSO STATED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS REPAIRED PER NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 14V530000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM) IN 2014. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF THE RECURRENCE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 157,000.
