The contact stated that the fuel tank was not yet filled prior to the failure. The following day, the vehicle was driven to the dealer and inspected. The contact stated that based on the preliminary inspection, there was no fault found. The contact then drove the vehicle back to the gas station with the service tech. While at the gas station, the contact was unable to duplicate the failure, and was informed to monitor the vehicle and to return to the dealer should the failure reoccurred. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 6,000.
