Since purchasing this vehicle we have had catalytic converter issues that have persisted even after having the dealer "fix" the issue.we have also had ABS/Traction control module issues.this is the 2nd identical vehicle owned with the exact same problems.
THIS VEHICLE CONSTANTLY SHAKES AT ABOUT THE 50 MPH. ENGINE LIGHT STARTS TO COME ON AND THERE IS A HESITATION TO ACCELERATE. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND I READ SEVERAL OTHERS ISSUES WITH THE MISFIRE. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE BEFORE OTHERS ARE HURTS... VERY SERIOUS ISSUE
WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE IN A WET PARKING LOT THE ABS LIGHT AND STABILITY LIGHT CAME ON AND REMAINED ON. THIS HAS ALSO AFFECTED THE CRUISE CONTROL AS WELL. THERE WAS A RECALL ON DODGE JOURNEYS FROM 2012-2015 FOR THE SAME ISSUE VIN MAY NEED INCLUDED IN THE RECALL.
POWER SURGING OR FUEL SURGING DURING ACCELERATING. WHEN I TRY TO GET UP TO SPEED IT IS LIKE IT CUTS OUT ON FUEL AND SURGES.

WHEN IT RAINS THE ABS, TRACTION CONTROL LIGHTS AND SERVICE ALL WHEEL DRIVE LIGHTS COME ON AND THE CRUISE CONTROL DOES NOT WORK . NEXT DAY SOON AS I DRIVE ALL LIGHTS GO OUT.IT IS HAPPENING MORE AND MORE..THIER IS A RECALL FOR 2015 DODGE JOURNEY FOR THIS BUT THEY SAY NOT FOR MINE.FUNNY THAT I HAVE SAME PROBLEMS AND SAME YEAR CAR. THIS HAPPENS WHEN DRIVING IN THE RAIN OR WET ROADS.
WHEN TAKEN IN TO THE DEALER I WAS INFORMED THT THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE ABS MODULE.IT WAS COROADED AND SHORTING OUT THE SYSYEM WHICH ALSO CONTROLS THE SPEED SENSORS AND TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM. ON TUESDAY MAY 7TH I STARTED THE CAR AND THE SPEEDOMETER DID NOT REGISTER AND THE AUTOMATIC DOOR LOCKS DID NOT ENGAGE THE BRAKES ALSO HOPPED WHEN I TRIED TO SLOW DOWN OR STOP.
THERE ARE TIMES WHEN MY ABS LIGHT COMES IN AND MY CRUISE CONTROL WON'T WORK AND THE ANTI SKID LIGHTS IS IN. THE BRAKES HALF WAY MAKE THIS GRIND NOISE AND I NEED FEEL THE BRAKES LOCKING UP BUT NOT ALL THE WAY BUT SURE GETS YOUR ATTENTION. IT'S HAPPENED A COUPLE TIMES WHILE JUST DRIVING OR GOING DOWN ROAD OR STOPPING ON CITY STREETS MOVING STRAIGHT.
WHILE DRIVING ON BUSY INTERSECTION VEHICLE JUST SHUT OFF ON ITS OWN. STEERING WHEEL LOCKED THEREFORE I HAD NO CONTROL. ALMOST CRASHED INTO ANOTHER VEHICLE AND MEDIAN. HAD TO WAIT FOR IT TO COME TO A COMPLETE STOP ON THE MIDDLE OF INTERSECTION TO BE ABLE TO RESTART IT.

THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO A DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED, BUT THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE WAS NOT FOUND. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOT MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE. THE VIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 3,900.
