Open the full vehicle complaint log (all categories)Traveling with cruise control set at 78mph. Service engine light came on without warning and vehicle couldn’t maintain speed. Exited highway to determine what was wrong. Pulled into gas station parking lot and the power brakes failed. The vehicle had two recalls for brakes serviced on 7/7/22. The vehicle is being towed to a dealership as the vehicle had less than 12,400 miles and has been owned less than one year. Any/all components available for inspection. If driver had not had wherewithal to exit highway when they did, there certainly could have been a fatality incident.
