We have 3 Diono 3QXT car seats in our 2023 Bronco back seat. I noticed today that two of the car seat's vehicle seatbelts were unlatched. The middle car seat and the passenger-side car seat were loose because the securing seatbelt in the Bronco was unlatched. My concern is that one of the car seats activated the seat belt release button in the Bronco. I will monitor my car seats to see if the issue occurs again, but I thought it was important enough to report, in case there are any other similar complaints regarding either the Diono car seat or the Ford Bronco's rear seatbelts.
After Avis Ford replaced my seatbelt on the driver’s side, my vehicle began to rattle from underneath the same area and in the front. The seatbelt side was serviced twice, and now the car feels unsafe. The dealership refused to re-inspect and told me to fix it out of pocket. I’m concerned this may be a structural or safety-related defect caused by improper repair.
I turned on the car and the airbag light was on. I took to a Ford dealership they said this was not under warranty. The sensor to the airbag is not working and will not go off if I'm actually in an accident. The sensor needs to be properly installed as this was an issue with many Ford Broncos years 2021-2022.
The main issue is the airbag light, it is available for inspection. Warning indicator on Ford app states safe to drive without a passenger. Dealer repaired a couple parts got better for a while but continued. Was told they had a wiring harness ordered, but canceled and told to call Ford about a buyback, dealt with Ford, Better Business Bureau about lemon law, but still have not giving me a price for the buyback even though they agreed to buy it back. The vehicle had been in an accident [XXX], it was repaired at the Ford dealer And completed 6/7, was dropped off to have a new aftermarket bumper and winch, lights installed. The first time airbag light came on was [XXX]. At first, I could turn the vehicle off and then back on, and the light would go away, did not get consistent enough to take to dealer till [XXX]. Warning light was on when I dropped it off, which was witnessed by the associate but off by the time it made it to repair bay. Back to ford on [XXX]. Did get a code to change an airbag indicator and sensor in the rear seat. Picked up after repairs February 16. No warning lights, next day the warning light was back on contacted Maria at Ford. Dropped off to Ford again on 2/26. Call the dealer not being done in a timely manner on 3/15. I was told to request a buyback on March 18. The vehicle status changed on 3/20 showing no alerts on my Ford pass app. They had a wiring harness ordered, but canceled. Picked up my vehicle on March 29. I asked if the vehicle failsafe that if it can’t tell if somebody’s in a seat while the airbag go off and got no reply. Wife is afraid to drive in the front seat on the airbag light is on. Light on continuously now Ford won’t give me a rental car to do more investigation because I get no code to tell him what part to change and I’ve not been given a buyback price. Intermittent Pre-collision / adaptive cruise control will stop working while driving on the highway be out for 11 minutes and then come back on. There is an open recall from Ford for almost 2 months and they dont have the remedy to close the recall. I dont feel secure to drive the car and the manufacturer to fix the identified problem on priority basis.

I ask that Ford be immediately compelled to issue guidance o confirming completion of Manufacturer Recall Number: 23C16 / NHTSA Recall Number: 23V358 for vehicles produced but held by dealers pending completion of this recall. Nearly three years ago I reserved a 2021 Bronco from Ford, after multiple model year changes and re-orders, I am still without the vehicle I eagerly anticipated. Despite this, I have been patient. My vehicle finally entered production on 4/26/23 and sat in this status until 6/27/23. Miraculously, after entering a built status on 6/29/23, it was delivered to the dealer on 7/9/23. I thought my wait was over. Sadly this was not the case, as a recall requiring two inexpensive plastic clips be installed on the rear seatbelts, originally announced in May was finally issued six weeks later on July 5th. Despite the fact that this recall did not affect vehicles built after May 9th, and it appears my Bronco was shipped with the recall being completed, but not marked as such in OASIS by the factory. This would seem to be a swift matter for the dealer to address, however, it has come to my attention that Ford may be unable to supply a relatively simple fix to dealers until Q4 and has not yet formalized a remedy to be implement at the dealer level depsite having implemented the correction at the factory, and this delay has put me in an untenable situation. On July 10th, I completed all purchase paperwork, and made payment in full. My vehicle is registered and insured in my name. The fix, as evidenced by the attached photos, was implemented at the factory. Despite this, my VIN is subject to a stop sale with no time horizon on correction of this bureaucratic oversight. Ford and NHTSA must take action now to permit me to take possession of a vehicle that meets all safety requirements and is currently losing value while sitting on a lot.
