THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE IS OVERWEIGHT (THE FRONT STEERING AXLE IS 4,000 POUNDS THE DOOR POST LEGEND INDICATES THE FRONT AXLE MAX GVM SHOULD BE 3600 POUNDS) CAUSING THE TIRES TO WEAR, THE CONSUMER REPLACED THE TIRES WITH P235 6-PLY AND NOW THE VEHICLE HAS NO MORE TIRE PROBLEMS, THE TIRES ARE NOT PROPERLY SIZED BY THE MANUFACTURER FOR THIS SIZE AND TYPE OF VEHICLE (MICHELIN LTX-MS P235R75-15). ENGINE CHECK ILLUMINATES. BROUGHT TO DEALER FOUR TIMES, NO PROBLEM FOUND THE FIRST TIME, SECOND TIME OXYGEN SENSOR AND FUEL FILTER WERE REPLACED AT CHARGE TO ME. THIRD TIME NEW FLASH (SOFTWARE)WAS BURNED. FORTH TIME THE PCV VALVE WAS FOUND TO BE DISLODGED FROM THE ENGINE.
POWER STEERING PUMP HAS BEEN REPLACED THREE TIMES WITHIN A THREE YEAR PERIOD. PUMP LEAKED POWER STEERING FLUID, CAUSING LOSS OF POWER STEERING CONTROL. PLEASE GIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS.*AK
BUCKLE TO CONNECT TO RECEIVER DOES'T STAY CLOSE AT ALL. DEALERSHIP IS AWARE OF PROBLEM.*AK
WHILE WORKING NEAR ONE OF THESE VEHICLES, CONSUMER ACCIDENTALLY HIT HER CALVE AGAINST THE LUGS OF THE VEHICLE WHICH EXTEND EXCESSIVELY FROM THE FENDERS. CONSUMERS LEG WAS WAS SERIOUSLY INJURED, CONSUMER IS STILL EXPERIENCING PAIN AND SUFFERING, THE PERSON WRITING THIS LETTER DOES NOT OWN THE VEHICLE. *JG
LT235/75R15 TIRE BLEW OUT WHILE DRIVING ON SOUTHFIELD EXPRESSWAY. DT
THE ALUMINUM WHEEL CAUSED THE SEAL TO BREAK BETWEEN THE RIM AND TIRE WHICH RESULTED IN ALL FOUR TIRES LOSING AIR PRESSURE.*JB
THE CONSUMER STATED THAT GAS TANK WAS INSTALLED WITHOUT ANY INSULATION BETWEEN THE GAS TANK AND FRAME, SO METAL WAS RUBBING METAL WHICH CAUSED A FUEL LEAK. *AK CONSUMER'S BIG PROBLEM WAS THAT FORD WAS AWARE OF THE FAILURE AND DIDN'T NOTIFY HIM OR OTHERS LIKE HIM. *PH *JB
VEHICLE IS EXPERIENCING A FUEL LEAKAGE. CONSUMER DOESN'T FILL IT UP COMPLETELY, ONLY TO THE 3/4 MARK. 2003 MAKES AND MODELS ARE CURRENTLY ON RECALL; HOWEVER, THIS VEHICLE IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE RECALL DUE TO VIN. *AK
THE TRUCK'S GAS TANK DEVELOPED CRACKS AND LEAKED GAS. THERE'S WAS A RECALL # 01V114000 FOR FUEL TANK CRACKS, BUT THE VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER WAS OUTSIDE THE REMEDY SCOPE. *JB
