Our vehicle has been in and out of the ford dealership 6 times now for the same problems. Now they say that it will take maybe another 2 months to have a fix. This is even though it has said each time that it has been fixed. Now they want us to return our loner a drive an unsafe car without safety features for the unseen future. I have had two case numbers open with ford and they will not respond back with the second case. I have to keep calling them. They expect us to drive an unsafe vehicle and it is unacceptable that they are doing this.
Alert on my dashboard flashes and I have received several "Park Aid Malfunction" Alerts. It advises me the the park assist or sensing system has detected a problem. It states if you can not activate your sensing system or have frequent active park assist faults, please have system checked by an authorized dealer. I have taken it in to my dealer 2 times now to have it serviced and once again I have had the system go off again, the next day I was driving. It has gone off on 3/13/25, 3/17/25, 3/25/25, 4/10/25, 4/14/25. I only have 3,900 miles on it. I leased this car in August of 2024. This alarm scares the crap out of me when I am driving. This last time I called my dealer told me a new update is coming out in May and that I need to wait for that to come out. But seems every time they do an update, I keep getting this signal. I am very frustrated at this time. Can you look into it for me.

I am experiencing problems with the driver's side window getting stuck when I attempt to roll it up or down. Following a couple of visits to the Ford dealership, the service team was unable to find any diagnostic trouble codes or issues. The window's performance is compromised in both directions. Additionally, I have observed the passenger side airbag warning light flashing couple of times. I bought the vehicle on [XXX], Only 6 Months with this vehicle and during my June 6th, 2025 oil change, the service team recommended replacing the wiper blades, which seems excessive considering the low rainfall in San Diego, California. The car would act like it would die or cut off after idling for a while at a drive thru or school pick up. Took the car twice to the dealership they couldn't replicate it. Then the car died and shut off in the middle of a busy intersection at a red light. I was nearly hit head on and rear ended. I got the car started and out of the way and I had it towed to the dealership. The cars check engine light was on. It had never shut off before or had the engine light come on until then. It said crank shaft sensor and the PCM weren't allowing proper engine control. And the dealership has had it sense then. Bought the car in August 2024 and January 2025 the dealership has had my car. It is now march 2025. I have invoices. They say it's fixed every time I would pick the vehicle up and it never is.
Check engine light came on. Vehicle has around 5000 miles on it. My app told me it at misfire was detected. We took it to the dealer ship. All they said is ford is aware of this issue.
When turning off my 2024 Ford Escape ST Line, if I sit in the vehicle for at least 15minutes to 30minutes there's a clicking noise coming from under the hood of the vehicle. Sounds like a ABS issue. I tried turning the vehicle back on, stepping on the brake pedal (push start) the brakes will go down into the floor, I then let off the brake, & proceed to start vehicle again and now the brakes are fine. I'm aware there's an issue, I was told from the dealership I have some sort of ABS problem, however the dealership will NOT repair unless there's a code reading the problem...
My 2024 Ford Scape is vibrating shaking to bad on driving at any speed, as well turn off in middle of road after I stoped. I had brought to the dealer shop unssuccessfull because they dont want take care of my car, they said it was caused because I did not let the car get warm enought, but I let the car on 20 min before drive. My car have only 3,500 miles only.
I’m having trouble accelerating when the vehicle is stopped at a stop sign or when making a left or right turn. This has been dangerous because I end up stuck in the middle of intersections without being able to move. The vehicle is new and has 1400 miles on it.
I have a loss of power when accelerating on my 2024 Ford Escape ST Line. This problem isn't all the time, I've noticed when I either fuel or driving off a hill of a driveway, similar to a restaurant hill and when proceeding to drive the vehicle will suddenly stop while I'm accelerating. When I take my foot off the accelerator then tap on the accelerator again, then it drives. This problem happens when driving in traffic. There's also a egg/sulfur smell while I'm driving on the expressway. Like it's misfiring. My frontend also rumble's when I' come to a stop.
The contact owns a 2024 Ford Escape. The contact stated that his wife had driven approximately 500 miles during a trip from Tennessee to Michigan, where she made stops as needed. The contact stated that after his wife arrived to the destination, she noticed that she had sustained third-degree burns on the right buttock and on the right upper leg from the front driver's side seat heater. The contact stated that his wife was a nurse and was self-treating at the residence. The dealer was not notified of the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was opened. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 14,000.
The voice assistance button and map are not working on my car. The problem started on [XXX]. This is used to control my phone because Ohio is hands-free and I cannot use my phone while driving. The map is not working. Also. The dealer could not fix the problem and for customer care could not fix the problem. They said it would not be fixed until the end of the year. It is now 2025 and they still have not fixed the problem. They do not consider this a recall and I don't understand why. The contact owns a 2024 Ford Escape. The contact stated that the front driver’s and front passenger’s side seat heaters failed to adjust the temperature once the heater maintained a high level. The contact had owned prior Ford vehicles that automatically lowered the seat temperature once a certain temperature was maintained for a while. The contact had to manually adjust the seat temperature to avoid a potential burn due to the prolonged seat temperature. The dealer nor the manufacturer had been notified of the failure. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.
On dashboard, states: Regain Control, Bind Spot System Fault, Cross-Traffic System Fault, Front Camera Fault Service Required, Pre-Collision Assist Not Available. We have a [XXX] in the car and the added safety features to assist while driving are faulty. Ford knows it is an issue but has not been able to fix it. Taken it in twice for a system wipe but it reappears within a day. Spoke with Ford Customer service to begin a claim. We purchased the vehicle in June 2024 and started in July 2024. Was told a fix would be March 2025, now they said May 2025. Keeps getting pushed out because they cannot fix the issue. Warning lights on dashboard on at all times. Blind spot fault, Pre-collision assist fault, Cross-traffic system fault warning icons appeared on dashboard in June 2024. Been to the Ford service dept. four times with no resolution.
I am experiencing persistent issues with the windows on my 2024 Ford Escape, specifically on both the driver and passenger sides, which struggle to raise and lower, producing unusual noises and leaving marks on the glass. Despite two visits to the Ford dealership where I purchased the vehicle, which is located far from my residence, the problem remains unresolved. During my second visit, I was initially offered a loaner car but had to wait over 3 hours only to be told that none would be provided, with the technician concluding that no trouble codes were found. Subsequently, I scheduled an appointment at a different Ford service center; however, they require me to leave my car for an unspecified duration without offering a loaner vehicle, which is unacceptable given my reliance on the car. Consequently, I am expressing my extreme frustration and dissatisfaction with the service provided by Ford.
In May/June 2024 at approximately 8350 miles the Accessory Protocol Interface Module ("APIM" failed. On the Center Display, I lost display and audio. This failure also impacted hands-off features, radio, use of traction /snow/slippery features, map, vehicle manuel, bluetooth, etc. The dealer service department (Autonation Westlake, Ohio) replaced the APIM at that time In September 2025 at approximately 48,300 miles there was complete failure of of the Center Display impacting the same features noted above. In addition the interior lights are not properly working. The service department of the dealer (Autonation Westlake, Ohio) informed me that their diagnotics revealed the failure of the Audio Control Module and the possibly the APIM. The service department replaced the Audio Control Module. This did not correct the problem. The service department said that the APIM, which had been previously replaced, needed to be replaced. After nearly eight weeks, the APIM has not been replaced. The service department has been unable to send the code to Ford Motor to get the replacement part. The Center Display and many other features are not working as of today's date 11/21/2025.
The contact owns a 2024 Ford Escape. The contact stated while driving 65-70 MPH and depressing the accelerator pedal, the wrench warning light illuminated and the message "Engine over-temperature. Service Now" was displayed. The contact stated that the failure recurred several times while driving and depressing the accelerator pedal. The contact stated that the vehicle operated as needed upon releasing the accelerator pedal. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that there were metal shavings in the engine cylinder head. The dealer determined that the head needed to be replaced under Ford SSM Number: 52219; however, the part was not available for the repair. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that as an independent mechanic, he was concerned that the repair offered by the manufacturer was only a temporary fix. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 4,500.
I stopped one day to get some gas and when I tried to start my 2024 Ford escape back up it failed to turn over. I started to get notices from my Ford pass app stating that I was having some issues with my turbine. The vehicle was leaving me stranded every time I tried to start it and it would try to stall on me. The engine didn't seem like it had enough power to run at a proper and normal status as an engine should properly run. When I would start the vehicle it would only start one time and then proceeded to stall on me and leave me stranded everywhere I went. The problem was never fixed. Then the dash lights started to tell me that the driver needed rest and flash a coffee cup in front of my eyes after I just got in the vehicle about 5 minutes before the lights came on. There was an awful smell that came out of the engine. I'm glad that my car didn't catch on fire before they repossessed it and I stopped making payments because the car was messed up and I'm not paying for a messed up vehicle but there was a serious issue with my 2024 Ford escape and I'm glad that they came and took it from me hopefully that kept me alive instead of burning up to death. Thank you
