I WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT ON JULY 11 2000 IN WHICH WE ROLLED OVER COUPLE OFF TIMES. WE HAD TAKEN THE EXPEDITION TO THE DEALERSHIP TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE ACCIDENT OUR COMPLAINT WAS THAT THE STEERING WAS TOO SOFT AND AT THE DEALERSHIP TOLD US THAT THERE WAS NO PROBLEM WITH THE STEERING COUPLE OF MONTHS AFTER THE ACCIDENT I LEARNED THAT THE DEALERS WERE INSTALLING ANOTHER GEAR BOX FOR THE STEERING MAKE THE STEEERING HARDER AND FIRMER ALSO THE 2000 HAD A NEW GEAR BOX. FAX FM EDGAR RANGEL (TX) RE FORD/FIRESTONE, HE WAS INJURED & HIS FRIEND ANGEL NAVARRETE WAS KILLED WHEN THEIR 1999 FORD EXPEDITION W/FIRESTONE TIRES ROLLED OVER DUE TO DEFECTIVE STEERING & TIRES. *MR THIS WAS A SERIOUS ROLLOVER INCIDENT IN WHICH THE STEERING WHEEL DID NOT RESPOND PROPERLY. *SCC. THE CONSUMER BELIEVED THE STEERING PLAYED A SIGNIFICANT ROLE IN THE ACCIDENT. TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE INCIDENT, THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED AND IT WAS NOTED THERE WAS A DEFECT WITH THE POWER STEERING, BUT WAS EXPLAINED AS A NORMAL SOURCE OF THE VEHICLE. *JB
LTR FWD FM EDGAR A. RANGEL (TX0) RE 1999 FORD EXPEDITION INVOLVED IN A ROLLOVER ACCIDENT ON 07/11/00 WHICH RESULTED IN ONE FATALITY AND ONE INJURY. *MR PH. 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO THE INCIDENT THE VEHICLE WAS SERVICED AND IT WAS NOTED THE VEHICLE HAD STEERING PROBLEMS, THE STEERING WAS OVER SENSITIVE, BUT WAS EXPLAINED AS A NORMAL SOUCRE OF THE TRUCK, THE PASSENGER OF THE VEHICLE BELIEVED THE STEERING MAY HAVE BEEN THE CAUSE OF THE ACCIDENT.*PH *JB
FRONT BRAKES WERE REPLACED IN DECEMBER OF 1999, AND KNOW CONSUMER IS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AGAIN.*AK

I HAD BEEN DRIVING THIS VEHICLE ON THE HIGHWAY. I CAME INTO TOWN AND HAD A TIRE FAILURE WHEN I BACKED INTO A CURB AT VERY LOW SPEED (5 MPH+\-). THE FIRESTONE DEALER WOULD NOT LOOK AT IT SAYING IT WAS A ROAD HAZARD AND THE FORD DEALER SAID IT WAS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY, SO I REPLACED THE TIRE MYSELF. *AK( DOT NUMBER: TIRE SIZE: P255/70R16 )
I REALIZE THAT THESE TIRES HAVE NOT BEEN RECALLED, NOR AM I NECESSARILY LOOKING FOR REPLACEMENT. HOWEVER, EVEN PRIOR TO THE CURRENT RECALLS, WE WERE CONCERNED ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THESE TIRES AS WE HAVE HAD 3 FLATS IN A PERIOD OF 6 MONTHS ON A NEW VEHICLE. PRIOR TO THE PURCHASE OF THIS VEHICLE, WE HAD ORIGINAL TIRES ON TWO PREVIOUS 4-RUNNERS FOR A TOTAL OF 10 YEARS WITH NO PROBLEMS. MAYBE IT IS PURELY BAD LUCK, BUT GIVEN THE CURRENT SITUATION WITH THE FIRESTONE TIRES AND THE FACT THAT WE HAVE THREE YOUNG CHILDREN WHO TRAVEL IN THIS CAR DAILY, I FELT THAT WE NEEDED TO REPORT OUR EXPERIENCE IN THE EVENT THAT YOU ARE COLLECTING DATA ON THIS SIZE TIRE AS WELL. WINDSHIELD WIPERS WILL GO OFF INTERMITTENTLY. NOTICED, MOST OFTEN WHEN USING BLINKERS. SHE WILL CONTACT THE DEALER.*AK
WHILE A 1999 FORD, EXPEDITION, ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT, TIRE SIDE P255/70R16 AND DOT# UNAVAILABLE WAS BEING SERVICED WAS INFORMED OF CRACKS AROUND THE SIDEWALL WHERE THE TREAD MEETS ON ALL FOUR TIRES. FIRESTONE NOTIFIED, AND WILL NOT REPLACE BECAUSE TIRES WERE NOT COVERED UNDER RECALL. *AK ALL FOUR TIRES HAVE SHOWN SIGN OF CRACKING ALONG THE TREAD. FIRESTONE DEALER WOULD NOT REPLACE THE TIRES BECAUSE THESE ARE NOT PART OF THE RECALL. *YH
INTERMITTENTLY WHEN ACCELERATING VEHICLE WILL STALL AND DIE WITHOUT WARNING.*AK
THEY WERE TRAVELING ON HIGHWAY AND THEY MADE A STOP AT THE HOTEL. RIGHT REAR TIRE WAS FLAT. THEY TOOK IT TO A TIRE PLACE, AND SAW THAT TIRE WAS TORN BETWEEN THE SIDEWALL, INNER TIRE WAS SEPARTED. ATTENDANT PUT TIRE IN THE WATER. AND HE TOLD THEM THAT TIRE HAD TO BE REPLACED. TIRE FIRESTONE WILDERNESS #AT 17 INCH.*AK THE RIGHT FRONT TIRE NEEDS AIR EVERY 7 DAYS BUT THE ONE THAT GOT FLAT WAS REPLACED. *YH

ENGINE SUDDENLY RUNNING VERY ROUGH AND ENGINE CHECK LIGHT ON. DEALER INVESTIGATION SHOWED COOLANT LEAK ON COIL PACK 4. COIL PACK REMOVED AND REPLACED AND HOSE CLAMP TIGHTENED. REPAIR WAS NOT DONE AS A DEFECT ALTHOUGH MANY OTHER VEHICLES HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. *AK
BELT SEPERATION AND VIBRATION IN THE TIRES DEALER WILL NOT REPLACE( DOT NUMBER: VNCU TIRE SIZE: P25570R16 )
WHILE DRIVING, FIRESTONE WILDERNESS AT TIRES P265/70R17 EXPERIENCED A BLOWOUT CAUSED BY TREAD SEPARATION, TIRE FAILURE CAUSED DAMAGE TO FRONT AND LEFT SIDE OF BUMPER AND FENDER. *SLC
RECENT FIRESTONE TIRE RECALL ONLY COVERS 15" WILDERNESS AT TIRES. I HAD A TIRE LOOSE PRESSURE/FLAT AT APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH. THE TIRES CAME ON MY NEWLY PURCHASED 1999 EXPEDITION. WITH ONLY 3900 MILES, THE TIRE WAS DESTROYED, INCLUDING THE SIDEWALL FROM SLOWING THE VEHICLE TO A STOP AFTER THE FLAT. I DID NOT INSPECT THE TIRE, I WAS JUST TOLD BY THE FORD DEALER THAT REPLACED IT THAT THEY WOULD INSPECT THE TIRE AND REPLACE IT IF RECOMMENDED. THE ONLY DOCUMENTATION I HAVE REGARDING THE REPLACEMENT IS A NOTE BY THE DEALER/SERVICE THAT THERE WAS A PUNCTURE TO THE SIDEWALL. THE SIDEWALL PUNCTURE DID NOT CAUSE THE FLAT. THE SIDEWALL DAMAGE WAS DUE TO THE TIRE FAILURE AT THE HIGH RATE OF SPEED. THE FORD DEALER WOULD NOT REPLACE THE TIRE UNDER WARRANTY WITH ONLY 3900 MILES. NOW THAT THE FIRESTONE RECALL IS IN FORCE, 16 " TIRES ARE NOT INCLUDED. SHOULD THEY BE? HAD I KNOWN ABOUT THE PROBLEMS, OR THE RECALL WOULD HAVE BEEN IN PLACE, I WOULD HAVE INSPECTED THE TIRE, OR EVEN KEPT THE TIRE FOR FURTHER INSPECTION FOR MY COMPLAINT. MY FAMILY WAS ON VACATION WHEN THE TIRE FAILURE OCCURED, I CHECK MY TIRE PRESSURE REGULARY AND IT WAS AT THE RECOMMENDED MANUFACTURES SPECS (35PSI). SHOULD THESE TIRES BE INCLUDED IN THE RECALL? I AM TAKING MY FAMILY ON ANOTHER VACATION IN 5 WEEKS. WE WILL BE DRIVING 4000-5000 MILES ON THESE TIRES. I WILL DO MY PART BY CONTINUING TO INSPECT AND CHECK TIRE PRESSURE. I WAS RETURNING TO GA FROM FLORIDA, AND I HEARD THIS CHOPPER NOISE!! THERE WERE NO CHOPPERS ABOVE. A PASSERBY MOTIONED TO MY LEFT REAR TIRE. I PULLED OVER AND THE TREAD WAS COMING OFF THE TIRE! A COLLEGE STUDENT REMOVED THE TIRE AND INSTALLED MY SPARE. HE WOULD NOT TAKE ANY MONEY FOR THE OUTSTANDING JOB TO INSTALL THE SPARE TIRE. THE FIRST TIRE (LEFT REAR) BLEW OUT WHILE TRAVELLING AT FREEWAY SPEED. THE VEHICLE SWUNG TO THE LEFT. FORTUNATELY NO ONE WAS NEAR ME AND I WAS ABLE TO BRING THE VEHICLE TO A SAFE STOP. THE SECOND INCIDENT OCCURRED APPROXIMATELY ONE WEEK LATER. AGAIN AT FREEWAY SPEED, THE RIGHT REAR TIRE SUDDENLY WENT FLAT. THE VEHICLE WAS SAFELY BROUGHT TO AS STOP. I HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE IN FOR SERVICE A TOTAL OF 8 TIMES FOR VARIOUS REASONS, BUT HAVE HAD THE VEHICLE IN 3 TIMES FOR THE SAME THING AND STILL NOT FIXED. THANK GOD MY TIRES HAVE NOT BLOWN OUT. *AK
CAR COASTED TO STOP. SPARE INSTALLED. COMMERCIAL MOTOR CO IN ARANSAS PASS SOLD ME TWO NEW TIRES BECAUSE THE RIGHT FAILURE SHREDDED THE TIRE. THAT WAY I HAVE TWO NEW TIRES ON FRONT END. COMMERCIAL DISCARDED THE TIRE. IT TOOK A WHOLE DAY TO GET THE TWO NEW ONES BECAUSE THE DEALER WAS NOT STOCKING THEM. PE00020; ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT ON A FORD, EXPIDITION 1999. THERE ARE LITTLE SLICES GOING ALL THE WAY AROUND TIRE, CONSUMER TOOK TO FIRESTONE AND THEY ARE GOING TO REPLACE THEM. CONSUMER WILL BE CHARGED. *AK

WINDSHIELD WIPERS COME ON AUTOMACTICALLY. MANUFACTURER SENT TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETINS TO DEALER ON WINDSHIELD WIPERS. TSB ONLY COVERS CONSUMERS WITH WARRANTIES. CONSUMER LIVED IN A AREA WERE THERE WAS ALOT OF ROAD SALT, AND WHEN COMING ON INVOLUNTARALY IT SMEARS WITH LACK OF VISIBILITY.*AK THE CONSUMER STATES THAT IT IS UNSAFE TO DRIVE, ESPECIALLY UNDER BAD WEATHER CONDITION. *YH
ALL FOUR TIRES WERE FOUND TO BE "CRACKED" ALONG THE TREAD/SIDEWALL AT 11,500 MILES. LOCAL FIRESTONE DEALER REPLACED ALL FOUR. WHILE AT THE CROWN FORD DEALERSHIP EARLIER THAT DAY I HAD THEM CHECK MY TIRES AND THEY SENT ME TO THE FIRESTONE DEALER, THE SERVICE MANAGE CHECKED OTHER EXPEDITIONS IN THE SHOP AND FOUND SIMULAR CRACKS ON AT LEAST ONE MORE EXPEDITION IN THE SHOP. I REALIZE THE 16" TIRES ARE NOT ON THE RECALL PROGRAM. HOWEVER, I DO NOT THINK THE PROBLEM BEGINS AND ENDS WITH ONLY 15" TIRES. I HAVE SENT COMPLAINTS VIA E-MAIL TO FORD AND FIRESTONE AND HAVE RECEIVED THEIR STANDARD REPLIES REF. THE RECALL. I HAVE LOST CONFIDENCE IN FIRESTONE AND DESIRE ANOTHNER BRAND OF TIRE. PLEASE HELP. LIGHT CAME ON THE DASHBOARD INDICATING THERE WA SNO OIL INSIDE OF VEHICLE, AND IT STARTED MAKING CLUNKING NOISE. DEALERSHIP WAS AWARE OF PROBLEM.*AK
WHILE DRIVING AT 8,900 MILES GASKET BLEW. TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER FOR REPAIRS. AGAIN AT 22, 000 MILES THE GASKET BLEW AGAIN. ALSO, VEHICLE WAS LEAKING OIL. *AK ALL GASKETS HAD BEEN REPLACED. LITTLE WHITE DOT ON HEADLIGHT SWITCH DOESN'T LIGHT UP. SWITCH ASSEMBLY REPLACED. *TT
PE00020; TIRE TREAD SEPARATION: WHILE DRIVING ABOUT 45 MPH TREAD ON THE REAR DRIVER'S SIDE CAME OFF. DRIVER WAS ABLE TO CONTROL EXPEDITON, AND DID NOT RECEIVE ANY INJURIES. TIRE WAS A WILDERNESS ATX, 16, ORIGINAL TIRE EQUIPMENT. IN JULY, TIRE ON THE REAR PASSENGER'S SIDE BLEWOUT WITH 21,000 MILES. PLEASE PROVIDE DOT # IF POSSIBLE AND ANY FURTHER INFORMATION.*AK
TIRE DEFECT: DRIVING UNDER NORMAL CONDITIONS WITH MY FAMILY OF FIVE WE HEARD A "BANG" AND REALIZED THE REAR RIGHT TIRE HAD BLOWN. BECAUSE OF THE SEVERITY OF THE BLOW OUT WE FELT IMMEDIATELY THAT THIS WAS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT AND EXPRESSED OUR CONCERN TO NEMER FORD. THE FORD EXPEDITION HAS NEVER BEEN USED FOR ANY OFF-ROAD PURPOSE. NEMER FORD REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING AND SIMPLY REFERRED US TO THE FIRESTONE DEALER. WE CONTACTED OUR LOCAL FIRESTONE DEALER AND THEY TOLD US IT MUST HAVE BEEN PUNCTURED, WHICH WE KNEW WAS NOT TRUE. WE HAVE NOT REPLACED THE TIRE AND STILL HAVE THE ORIGINAL TIRE TO PROVE TO SOMEONE THAT THE TIRE IS DEFECTIVE! RECALL 00V0730/TRAILER HITCH ASSEMBLY:VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO DEALER AND INFORMED THAT THERE WERE NO PARTS AVAILABLE. *AK
TIRE HAD COMPLETE FAILURE (BLOWOUT) ON INTERSTATE 95 AT 70 MPH AT APPROXIMATELY 0700 ON MAY 16TH, 2000. WAS ABLE TO KEEP CONTROL AND RETURN TO OUTSIDE EMERGENCY LANE AND REPLACE WITH THE SPARE. THE SPARE ALSO HAS FOUR SERIOUS INDENTATIONS IN THE SIDEWALL AND I DO NOT CONSIDER SAFE TO USE.I WENT TO A TIRE KINGDOM STORE THE NEXT DAY AND PURCHASED 4 NEW MICHELIN TIRES AND HAD THE SPARE REPLACED UNDER THE VEHICLE. FIRESTONE WILDERNESS AT TIRE P255/70R16 EXPERIENCED TREAD SEPARATION, WHILE DRIVING, CONSUMER HEARD A NOISE FROM THE FRONT PASSENGER TIRE WHICH MADE HER PULL OVER TO THE SHOULDER AND SEE TIRE. *SLC
I AM NOW HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THE SAME FRONT PASSENGER TIRE. I CHANGED THE FIRST TIRE WITH MY SPARE RIM & TIRE AND NOW THE AIR IS DECREASING IN THE TIRE THE SAME WAY THE FIRST TIRE DID. IN THE FIRST INCIDENT WE WERE ON THE FREEWAY AND MY SUV SPENT AROUND AND SWERVED . I HAD FIVE CHILDREN IN MY CAR AND WHEN I GOT OUT TO LOOK AT THE TIRE IT WAS SPLIT IN HALF AND THE TREAD WAS TORN APART (AS SEEN ON T.V.). I FEAR FOR ME & MY FAMILY'S LIFES AND I AM AFRAID TO DRIVE MY SUV. PLEASE INVESTIGATE THESE TIRES, AT THIS TIME I CAN'T AFFORD TO REPLACE THESE MALFUNCTIONED TIRES. *AK

CRACKS ALONG EDGE OF TREAD AROUND ENTIRE TIRE. WE HAVE RECEIVED 3 FLATS IN LESS THEN 4 MONTHS BETWEEN 13K AND 18K MILAGE ON TIRES. THE SPARE ONLY HAS 3K ON IT AND HAS NO CRAKCS. THE CRACKS WERE NOTICED 4/2000 WHEN FIRST FLAT OCCURRED AND REPAIR MAN SAID THE NEW TIRES SHOULD NOT LOOK LIKE THAT.NOTIFIED INDEPENT FIRESTONE DEALER 5/2000. THE CRACKS WERE NOTICED WHEN CAR HAD LESS THEN 3K BUT DID NOT KNOW THERE WAS A PROBLEM. CONSUMER TOOK VEHICLE TO DEALER FOR ENGINE GASKET REPAIR, AND DEALER SAID IT WOULD BE 3 TO 4 MONTHS BEFORE PARTS WOULD BE AVAILABLE. THIS IS NOT A RECALL PART. *AK
TIRES: HAD A BLOWOUT ON THE HIGHWAY IN APRIL OF THIS YEAR. I WENT TO THE NEAREST FIRESTONE DEALER. HE INSPECTED THE TIRE AND REPORTED THAT IT WAS DEFECTIVE AND NOT REPAIRABLE, SO I BOUGHT A NEW ONE. EVER SINCE THIS HAPPENED, THE VEHICLE VIBRATED TERRIBLY AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS. REPORTED (3TIMES) TO DEALERSHIP SINCE APRIL. EACH REPORT IS DOCUMENTED. ALLEGEDLY FIXED EACH TIME. FINALLY ON 8/04/00 THE TIRE WAS DECLARED DEFECTIVE BY THE DEALERSHIP AND WAS REPLACED.(I HAVE DOCUMENTATION/RECEIPTS ON ALL WORK). PROBLEM IS THAT THE TRUCK STILL VIBRATES AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS ALTHOUGH AT LOWER MPH THAN PREVIOUSLY REPORTED. AIR CONDITIONING: FIRST REPORTED STRONG MOLDY ODOR BACK IN JAN 1999. WAS TOLD BY FORD SERVICE REP. THAT IT WAS DUE TO THE TRUCK'S HAVING BEEN IDLE IN THE HOT SUN/PARKING LOT PRIOR TO MY PURCHASING IT. I WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD DISSIPATE IN TIME. IT DID NOT. I BROUGHT IT IN THREE TIMES SINCE THEN. EACH TIME I ASKED THAT THE CAUSE BE FIXED AND NOT JUST THE SYMPTOMS. ON THE 4TH VISIT, I INVOLVED THE OWNER AND HIS DEALERSHIP HIRED AN OUTSIDE COMPANY TO REMOVE THE MOLD FROM THE SYSTEM. THEY CLAIMED TO HAVE DONE SO BUT DURING THE CLEANING PROCESS THEY ADDED A CHEMICAL/PERFUME THAT IS SO STRONG, ONE CANNOT TELL IF THE ACTUAL PROBLEM IS STILL PRESENT OR NOT. I WAS TOLD (BY THE SERVICE REP) THE OWNER WAS SO OFFENDED BY THIS SMELL THAT HE HAD THE COMPANY COME BACK OUT & REDO THE TRUCK TO REMOVE THE ADDED CHEMICAL. THEY WERE UNSUCCESSFUL AS IT SMELLS VERY STRONG EVEN TODAY (2 WEEKS LATER). MY CONCERN IS AS FOLLOWS; IF THEY REMOVED THE MOLD AND SMELL THEN WHY WOULD THEY NEED TO ADD A CHEMICAL/PERFUME? I BELIEVE THAT THEY ADDED THIS CHEMICAL TO MASK THE FACT THAT THE MOLD IS STILL PRESENT. I THINK THAT ALL THEY WERE ABLE TO DO WAS OVERPOWER THE STENCH OF MOLD BY ADDING THIS FRAGRANCE. I WANT THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM FIXED, NOT JUST THE SYMPTOMS. HAVING MOLD SPORES BLOWN INTO MY FACE IS A RISK TO MY HEALTH AND IS OF SERIOUS CONCERN TO ALL. MY TRUCK IS NOT THE ONLY ONE.
I TOOK THE TIRE INTO A FIRESTONE DEALER DUE TO A SLOW LEAK, THEY CHECKED THE TIRE, DISMOUNTED IT AND AFTER REASSEMBLY SAID THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE TIRE. THE TIRE CONTINUED TO EXIBIT A SLOW LEAK RATE OF ABOUT 10 LB IN 2 WEEKS. DUE TO THE PROBLEMS WITH FIRESTONE TIRES IN GENERAL I REPLACED ALL OF THEM. THEY ALL EXIBIT TREAD SEPERATION RIDGES IN THE SIDEWALLS. I HAD FIRESTONE TIRES IN 1974 AND AFTER A TOTAL OF 19 TIRES 12 PLUS THE ORIGINAL 5 I WENT TO BIAS PLY THEY WERE L 78 R 15 C RANGE TIRES ALSO. *AK (DOT NUMBER: W2T6IRE149 TIRESIZE: P265/70R17)
THIS VEHICLE HAS BEEN BACK TO DEALERSHIP SEVEN TIMES SINCE PURCHASE FOR WARRANTY SERVICE PROBLEMS AND RECALLS. IN MAY OF 99 THERE WAS A RECALL ON THE WHEEL LUGS: NUTS. IN SEPTEMBER 99, NOVEMBER 99, AND MARCH 2000 IT WAS IN FOR WINDSHIELD WIPER PROBLEMS; MOULDING REPLACEMENT; TWICE FOR FRONT END ALIGNMENTS (STEERS TO RIGHT); AND TRAILER HITCH RECALL. THE CONSTANT SMELLL OF BURNING OIL HAS JUST BEEN DIAGNOSED ON LATEST VISIT TO DEALERSHIP 5/15/00 AS NEEDING A NEW CYLINDER HEAD. VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN ON THREE OTHER OCCASIONS FOR THIS SAME PROBLEM, BUT THEY COULD NEVER FIND IT. NOW PARTS ARE ON ORDER---WILL TAKE 3-4 DAYS TO OBTAIN PARTS BEFORE THEY CAN REPAIR IT. REGARDING THE "WINDNOISE" DEALER SAYS ITS "NORMAL" YET SERVICE BULLETINS HAVE BEEN ISSUED ON THIS PROBLEM (996780 & TSB 99-6-5). IN NOVEMBER OF 1999, THE LEFT "TIE ROD" BROKE OFF WHILE WE WERE IN PHOENIX. A PHOENIX DEALERSHIP DID A SAME DAY REPAIR FOR US. *AK
DESIGN OF THE HINGES ON THE BACK DOOR CUT OFF THE TIP OF CHILD'S FINGER WHEN CHILD PLACED HIS HAND ON THE DOOR, WHILE THE DOOR WAS BEING OPENED. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION.*AK
THE VEHICLE EXPERIENCED AN OIL LEAK AROUND THE HEAD GASKET, THE CONSUMER IS NOT PLEASED WITH THE DEALER BECAUSE THEY REPLACED THE ENGINE WITH A REMANUFACTURED ONE. NLM
OIL LEAK AROUND THE HEAD GASKET-HAD CAR SERVICED 4 TIMES REPLACING PLUGS,WIRES ,GASKETS AND THE WHOLE HEAD ASSEMBLY. FINALLY THEY AGREED TO PUT A NEW ENGINE IN. WE KEEP TELLING SOMETHING WAS WRONG WITH THE BLOCK. THEY PUT IN A REMANUFACTURED ENGINE. TRUCK WAS IN THE SHOP OVER 35 DAYS WHEN THEY COULD OF JUST DROP A NEW ENGINE THE SECOND TIME..NOT HAPPY WITH APPLE VALLEY FORD FOR JERKING ME AROUND. NOW I DO NOT TRUST THIS CAR. I BOUGHT NEW AND NOW I HAVE A USED ENGINE IN MY TRUCK.
