DT: CONTACT OWNS A 2003 FORD EXPEDITION. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING HE NOTICED A SLIGHT VIBRATION AROUND 72 MPH. THE DEALERSHIP COULD NOT VERIFY THAT THIS WAS HAPPENING. THE CONSUMER DID HAVE THE TIRES ROTATED AND THE VEHICLE REALIGNED. THE CONTACT'S WIFE WAS DRIVING AND THE VIBRATION WAS SO BAD THAT IT DID CAUSE INJURY TO HER WRISTS. ABOUT 6-8 MONTHS LATER THERE WAS HAD A DEFECTIVE TIRE ON THE REAR PASSENGER'S SIDE, BUT THIS HAD BEEN ROTATED FROM THE FRONT. THE SERVICE INVOICE STATED THAT THE TIRE HAS HOP-IN-TIRE, AND WAS OUT OF ROUND. THE TIRE MANUFACTURER STATED IF IT WAS A DEFECT IN THE TIRE. THEY WOULD NOT REPLACE OR REIMBURSE THE CONSUMER BECAUSE THERE WERE TOO MANY MILES ON THE TIRE. *AK *NM
DT: VEHICLE WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONT IMPACT COLLISION WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 65 MPH AND ROLLED OVER. UPON IMPACT NEITHER AIR BAG DEPLOYED. THE CONSUMER DID NOT CONTACT DEALER. *AK
DT: ORANGE WIRE UNDER THE THIRD ROW SEAT, THIS WIRE STARTED SMOKING. WE LEFT THE CAR. THIS WIRE BURNED INTO. FLAMES WERE COMING OUT FROM UNDER THE SEAT, AND IT SMOKED UP THE VEHICLE. PARKED THE CAR, AND THE CAR HAD NOT BEEN MOVED SINCE. THIS HAPPENED 6:30 PM, AND ALL THE DEALERSHIPS WERE CLOSED. *AK

SHE IS GOING TO CALL FORD TO SEE ABOUT GETTING IT REPLACED. SHE HAS 4 SMALL CHILDREN, AND SHE CAR POOLS WITH SMALL CHILDREN ALL OF THE TIME.. SHE WANTS TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH NHTSA.*AK
DT: CONTACT STATES WHILE VEHICLE WAS PARKED AND LOCKED WITH THE EMERGENCY BRAKE IN PLACE THERE WAS A POPPING NOISE THAT CAME FROM THE VEHICLE, AND THEN VEHICLE STARTED ROLLING DOWN THE DRIVEWAY, CRASHING INTO ANOTHER PERSON'S HOME. THIS INFORMATION WAS CITED IN THE POLICE REPORT. *AK
WE HAD EXCESSIVE BRAKE DUST AND THEN AT 29,000 MILES WHEN WE WOULD TURN RIGHT IT BEGAN SQUEEKING. WE TOOK IT TO THE DEALER AND THEY STATED WE NEEDED BRAKE PADS (FIRST TIME CHANGING AND THEY WERE NOT EVEN TO THE METAL CLIP) AND THAT THE ROTORS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED BECAUSE THEY WERE WORE DOWN BELOW THE SAFTEY LEVEL. DEALER MADE MANY EXCUSES LIKE TIRE SIZE, RIMS (THEY SALE EXACT RIMS AT DEALER) AND FINALLY STATED THEY DID NOT KNOW. WHEN CONTACTING FORD CUSTOMER CARE REP STATED THAT IT IS TOO SOON TO CHANGE BUT THAT THE REGIONAL MANAGER SAID IT IS MAINTANCE ISSUE AND THAT WE MUST PAY FOR THEM. THEY STATE THAT TECHNICAL BULLETIN (WHICH THEY HAVE ON PADS AND ROTORS) ARE NOT RECALLS SO EVEN IF THEY KNOW THEY HAVE A PROBLEM THE CONSUMER HAS TO PAY THE PRICE UNTIL THEY ARE FORCED TO DO AN OFFICIAL RECALL. THIS IS UNFAIR AND NEEDS TO BE CHANGED!!!!!!

I BOUGHT IT WITH ABOUT 21000 MILES AT AROUND 30000 I REPLACED THE PADS AT A FORD DEALER BECAUSE OF THE WEAR AND SEVER BRAKE DUST I ALSO HAD THE ROTORS TURNED, IT NOW HAS 53000 MILES AND I HAVE HAD TO TURN THE ROTORS ABOUT EVERY 10000 MILES BECAUSE THE SHAKING IN THE STEERING WHEEL GETS SO BAD WHEN BRAKING
ONLY ONE OF 4 ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT TIRES ON A 2003 FORD EXPEDITION HAD EXECSSIVE AND UNSAFE WEAR ( FEATHERING) ON THE INSIDE TREAD OF A TIRE AFTER 23,000 MILES . THE TIRES WERE ROTATED EVERY 4000 MILES. MANUFACTURER REFUSED TO ADJUST THE TIRE. FORD REFUSED TO ADJUST THE TIRE. PHOTOS AVAIALABLE UPON REQUEST.
DT: FRONT DRIVER SIDE WINDOW SHATTERED. CONTACT WAS WALKING ABOUT 15-20 FEET AWAY FROM THE VEHICLE AND SHE HEARD LIKE AN EXPLOSION AND SHE TURNED AND LOOKED AND SHE SAW THE GLASS FLY OUT OF THE WINDOW THE GLASS WAS ALL OVER THE VEHICLE AND KNOW ONE WAS AROUND THE TRUCK. CONTACT SAYS THAT IF SHE HAD NOT OF STOPPED AT THE GREENHOUSE THEN THIS COULD HAVE HAPPENED WHILE DRIVING AND POSSIBLY CAUSED AN ACCIDENT. HER 18 MONTH OLD WOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE BACK SEAT POSSIBLY CAUSING INJURY TO HER BABY IF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED WHILE SHE DRIVING. THE WINDOW WAS DOWN A COUPLE OF INCHES AND IF SHE HADN'T ACTUALLY SEEN THE WINDOW SHATTER SHE WOULD HAVE THOUGHT SOMEONE HAD TRIED TO BREAK INTO HER TRUCK.
CONSUMER WAS INJURED ON THE 2003 FORD EXPEDITION WHILE OPENING THE REAR WINDOW.*MR THE CONSUMER BROKE HIS LEFT FOURTH FINGER ON HIS LEFT HAND TORE THE LIGAMENT FROM HIS FINGER AND CAUSED DAMAGED TO HIS WRIST JUST BY OPENING THE WINDOW. THE WINDOW WAS DESIGNED TO CAPTURE ONE'S FINGER LIKE A BOTTLE OPENER. IT WAS NOT ANGLED OUT AS TO RELEASE. THE WINDOW HAS PRESSURE ASSIST CYLINDERS WHICH THAT AND A LITTLE WIND CAUSED THE ACCIDENT. *JB
2003 FORD EXPEDITION EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH THE BRAKE EQUIPMENT. *MR THERE WERE SIGNIFICANT ESCALATING PROBLEMS WITH THE BRAKES INCLUDING DUSTING, DIFFICULTY STOPPING PARTICULARLY FROM HIGHER SPEEDS AND CHATTER SOUNDS. THE PROBLEM WAS SAID TO BE DUE TO OVERHEATING OF THE ORIGINAL PADS. THE PROBLEM WAS SO BAD THAT THE ROTORS WERE WELDED TO THE RIMS. THE CONSUMER REQUESTED REIMBURSEMENT. *SC
TREAD SEPARATION OF LOW MILEAGE CONTINENTAL TR 265/70/ 17 SUV TIRES- NO ACCIDENT OCCURED, PROBLEM NOTED BY FORD SERVICE DEPT DURING SERVICING. *AK
CONSUMER STATES: HAD CAR IN PARK WITH SLIGHT INCLINE, AND LEFT VEHICLE RUNNING ,AND THE VEHICLE SLIPPED OUT OF GEAR AND WENT INTO REVERSE. NO ONE WAS IN THE VEHICLE. *AK
SINCE WE HAVE OWNED THIS 2003 EXPEDITION WE HAVE HAD THE WINDSHIELD REPLACED DUE TO NOISE AND LOOSE STRIPPING, THEN, THE CONTRACTING PERSON PUT IN THE WRONG YEARS WINDSHIELD. THE EMISSIONS CANISTER WAS CRACKED AND WAS REPLACED. THE MUFFLER WOULD POP AFTER TURNING OFF THE ENGINE, BUT COULDN'T BE FIXED UNTIL VERIFIED BY FORD. I WAITED FOR 3-4 HOURS ONE DAY WITH 3 CHILDREN WHILE THEY LET MY CAR RUN AND SHUT OFF. WE FINALLY CALLED AHEAD, AND HAD THEM WAIT OUTSIDE ON US UNTIL WE KILLED THE ENGINE TO HEAR IT POP. IT WAS A POOR MUFFLER WELD AND WAS REPAIRED. THE SIDE MOLDING RATTLED BADLY, AND WAS TERRIBLY FADED, AND THAT WAS REPLACED. THE DOOR GETS A LOT OF WIND NOISE , AND A WHISTLE IN THE WINDOW. THEY SAID WINDOW PASSED THE DOLLAR BILL TEST AND WAS FINE BUT IT STILL WHISTLES. THEY, PUT A CLEAR STRIP ALONG INSIDE OF DOOR TO HELP NOISE. IT DOESN'T. THEN ,THE REAR CONTINENTAL TIRE HAD SUCH HORRIBLE, UNEVEN WEAR, IT WAS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. BOUGHT NEW TIRES FOR $600. THEN REAR DIFFERENTIAL MALFUNCTIONED, AND WOULD MAKE A GRINDING ON TURNING LEFT OR RIGHT. THEY FIXED THAT IN MARCH 2005, AND IT JUST STARTED DOING IT AGAIN. NOW, THERE IS A STRANGE NOISE WHEN REVVING THE ENGINE TO DRIVE COMING FROM UNDER THE HOOD. IT IS GOING IN TOMORROW FOR THE NOISE AND THE REAR DIFFERENTIAL. ON TOP OF ALL THE REPAIRS, WE HAVE HAD A SQUEAKY BRAKE ISSUE. ALSO, THEY HAVE SAID THEY WERE GOOD. THEY JUST GET A LOT OF BRAKE DUST, JUST SAND THEM. OUR SIDE WINDOWS SHIMMIES ALL THE TIME. ! I DID INVEST IN AN EXTENDED WARRANTY!. *AK
A SPARK PLUG BLEW OUT OF MY 2003 FORD EXPEDITION AND MESS UP THE WHOLE ENGINE, REQUIRING REPLACEMENT OF BOTH HEADS. FORD DENIES IT WAS A ENGINE PROBLEM, BUT THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF INCIDENTS LIKE MINE AROUND THE COUNTRY. *NM
CONSUMER VEHICLE WAS T-BONE BY ANOTHER VEHICLE AT 40-45 MPH, ALL OCCUPANTS WAS RESTRAINED IN THEIR SEAT BELTS AND NO INJURY WAS REPORTED. THE IMPACT OCCURRED IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SUV ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. NONE OF THE SIDE AIR BAGS DEPLOYED. THE INSURANCE COMPANY HAD THE VEHICLE TOWED TO THE BODY SHOP. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED, BUT THE CAUSE OF THE PROBLEM HAD NOT BEEN DETERMINED AT HIS TIME. *JB
2003 FORD EXPEDITION CAUGHT ON FIRE WHILE PARKED. *MR THE CONSUMER EXPRESSED A CONCERN ABOUT ANY RISK OR DANGER OF SUDDEN SHORT CIRCUITING, SPARKING, EXPLOSION OR FIRE WITH PARKING THIS VEHICLE, WHEN ONE DAY WHILE SITTING IN THEIR KITCHEN, THEY HEARD A LOUD RUMBLE EMANATING FROM THE REAR OF THE HOUSE WHEN THEY SAW THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE ENGULFED IN FLAMES WITH THE HOOD BLOWN OFF. THE FIRE ALSO SPREAD TO THE CONSUMERS HOME CONSUMING MOST OF IT. *SC *JB
THE DOOR AJAR LIGHT CAME ON AND STAYED ON. COULD CONTINUE TO GO AROUND THE VEHICLE OPENING AND SHUTTING THE DOORS AND THE LIGHT REMAINED ON. CONSUMER COULD NOT START THE VEHICLE SINCE THE LIGHT CAME ON, AND HAD TO GET A JUMP TO START IT.*AK
I OWN A 2000 FORD EXPEDITION AND IN 2003 AND NOW I HAVE HAD THE AIRBAG LIGHT ON BECAUSE THE AIRBAG HARNESS IS DEFECTIVE ON THE PASSENGERS SIDE. THE COST IS $390.00 TO REPAIR AND $70.00 TO DO A DIAGNOSTIC TEST EACH TIME.*AK
ON MARCH 11, 2004 I WAS DRIVING MY EXPEDITION ON THE I-95 DURING RUSH HOUR WHEN I NOTICED THAT CAR BEGAN TO FEEL VERY HEAVY. I ALSO NOTICED THAT THE SPEEDOMETER WAS GOING DOWN FROM 65 MPH TO 45 MPH DESPITE FACT THAT I WAS PRESSING DOWN THE GAS PEDAL, AND SUDDENLY ALL OF THE ENGINE LIGHTS TURNED ON. I WAS ABLE TO PULL OVER ON THE SHOULDER OF THE HIGHWAY WITHOUT ANY INCIDENT. I WAITED FOR A FEW MINUTES AND THE CAR RESTARTED WITH NO PROBLEM. *AK
FRONT BRAKE ROTORS COMPLETELY WORN DOWN AFTER ONLY 23,000 MILES. SEEMS TO BE A CHRONIC PROBLEM WITH THIS YEAR/MODEL.
THE PAINT HAS BEEN BUBBLING ON THE LIFTGATE OF MY FORD, EXPEDITION FOR YEARS. JUST RECENTLY, THAT PAINT HAS BEEN CHIPPING, WHICH I'M SURE IS GOING TO CAUSE RUST TO FORM. I'VE READ MANY SIMILAR COMPLAINTS FROM OTHER EXPEDITION OWNERS, BUT I CAN'T FIND A PLACE WHERE FORD HAS RESPONDED, EXCEPT TO SAY WHY IT IS HAPPENING. THE VEHICLE WILL NOT ENGAGE INTO REVERSE KEEPING IT FROM MOVING OUT OF A PARKING SPACE. MANUFACTURER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED BY OWNER. *NM
WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH FUSE ON THE PASSENGER'S SIDE CAUGHT ON FIRE. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT DISCONNECTED THE BATTERY, AND THE FLAMES BEGAN TO SETTLE. *AK
MY WIFE DRIVING EXPEDITION TO WORK HAD ACCELERATOR STICK FOR THREE MILES, BRAKES WOULD NOT STOP VEHICLE. DIDN'T KNOW TO PUT CAR IN NEUTRAL, HAD TO RUN RED LIGHTS WITH BLARING HORN. SHE TURNED OFF OF THE MAIN ROAD FOR A SIDE STREET LOOKING FOR A SNOW BANK.SUCCESFULY LANDED VEHICLE ON A SNOW BANK. JUST SCRAAPED A STREET SIGH MISSING NUMEROUS TREE'S. VEH. IS CURRENTLY AT DEALERSHIP. ORIGINAL EVALUATION DID NOT FIND ANY THING WRONG. WE ARE CURRENTLY WAITING FOR A FORD REP TO VISIT THE DEALERSHIP.*AK
WHILE BEING PARKED VEHICLE CAUGHT ON FIRE FROM SEATS. WHEN BEING INSPECTED IT WAS DETERMINED TO BE THE SEAT HEATING SYSTEM.*AK
VEHICLE STALLED INTERMITTENTLY AND WITHOUT WARNING WHILE DRIVING 40 MPH UP TO 70 MPH. VEHICLE HAD BEEN TO THE DEALER ON THREE SEPARATE OCCASIONS, AND THEY WERE UNABLE TO DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. *AK
I BOUGHT THIS VEHICLE FROM JOE MYERS FORD ON 12/22/04. I HAD MANY PROBLEMS WITH THE SALESPERSON WHO IS JERRY DELGADO. HE LIED TO ME. JOE TOLD ME THAT I WAS GOING TO MAKE A CERTAIN PAYMENT AND REALITY I ENDED MAKING ANOTHER PAYMENT. HE ALSO PUT ALL THESE DIFFERENT INSURANCES THAT I DIDN'T ASK FOR OR WAS ASKED TO IF I WANTED. I TRIED TO CANCEL THE BUT THEY DIDN'T WANT TO. THE SALESPERSON WAS NO HELP AT ALL. HE DIDN'T EXPLAIN TO ME EVERYTHING THAT WAS NEEDED TO EXPLAIN LIKE HOW LONG I WAS GOING TO BE PAYING FOR THE SUV. *JB
BRAKES FAILED TO OPERATE AT 30 MPH, CAUSING A FRONT END COLLISION. UPON IMPACT, AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY. CONSUMER WILL NOTIFY MANUFACTURER.*AK
ON DECEMBER 9, 2004, I DELIVERED MY 2003 FORD EXPEDITION TO THE ASPEN TIRE AND AUTO CENTER IN CASTLE ROCK, CO FOR THE BRAKE REPAIRS UPON COMPLETION OF THE 30,000 MILE SERVICE AT THE MEDVED FORD DEALERSHIP IN CASTLE ROCK, CO. I HAD REPORTED TO FORD THAT THE BRAKES BEGAN SQUEAKING THAT MORNING AND CONTINUED TO SQUEAK FOR SEVERAL SECONDS AFTER THE BRAKE PEDAL WAS RELEASED. FORD ADVISED IT NEEDED NEW FRONT BRAKE PADS, BUT I OPTED TO TAKE IT ELSEWHERE FOR THE REPAIRS. I IMMEDIATELY DROPPED THE VEHICLE OFF AT THE ASPEN TIRE AND AUTO CENTER, 4978 FRONT STREET, CASTLE ROCK, CO 80104 AFTER MEDVED COMPLETED THE INITIAL WORK. WHEN THE ASPEN TIRE AND AUTO SERVICE TECHNICIANS EXAMINED THE BRAKE SYSTEM, THEY REPORTED TO ME THAT BOTH ROTORS WERE UNEVENLY WORN AND WARPED. ADDITIONALLY, THE LEFT CALIPER WAS NOT RELEASING PROPERLY. I WAS IN THE VICINITY AND WAS ABLE TO INSPECT THE ENTIRE BRAKE SYSTEM IN THEIR SERVICE CENTER. THE ASPEN TIRE AND AUTO CENTER BROUGHT THE RIGHT ROTOR TO MINIMUM SAFETY SPECIFICATIONS, BUT WAS UNABLE TO SALVAGE THE LEFT ROTOR. THEIR TECHNICIANS CLEANED THE BRAKE SYSTEM, WHICH ALLOWED BOTH CALIPERS TO PERFORM NORMALLY. BOTH ROTORS HAD TO BE REPLACED. AS A FORD OWNER FOR THE PAST EIGHT YEARS, I NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH A SIGNIFICANT AND UNSAFE DETERIORATION OF A BRAKING SYSTEM. IF THE REPAIRS TO THE ROTORS AND CALIPERS HAD NOT BEEN ADDRESSED, THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DELIVER OPTIMAL BRAKING PERFORMANCE, ENDANGERING THE LIVES OF MY FAMILY, OTHER MOTORIST, AND MYSELF. THIS VEHICLE NEVER PERFORMED ANY DRIVING ACTIVITIES THAT WOULD GREATLY ALTER THE NORMAL WEAR ON THE BRAKING SYSTEM. IT IS USED PRIMARILY AS A TRANSPORT VEHICLE TO AND FROM WORK, ON A RELATIVELY EVEN DRIVING SURFACE. THERE IS NO JUSTIFIABLE REASON WHY THIS VEHICLE EXPERIENCED THESE PROBLEMS WITH ONLY 33,131 MILES. I HAVE SPOKEN TO OTHER FORD EXPEDITION OWNERS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED IDENTICAL PROBLEMS WITH THE FRONT BRAKES ON THEIR VEHICLES.
THE TRUCK WAS PARKED INSIDE THE GARAGE AND THE TRUCK AND GARAGE CAUGHT ON FIRE. NO INJURIES REPORTED. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS CALLED TO EXTINGUISH THE FIRE. VEHICLE WAS TOWED AND TOTALED BY THE INSURANCE COMPANY. *AK PRIOR TO THE FIRE. THE VEHICLE LEAKED GAS, THE DEALER STATED A GAS LINE WAS LOOSE. *JB
FRONT TIRES WERE WEARING UNEVENLY ON OUTSIDE EDGES. TOOK TO TIRE SHOP FOR ROTATE AND ALIGNMENT. THEY SAID THAT ALIGNMENT WAS OUTSIDE MANUFACTURER SPECS, BUT THERE IS NO ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM ON VEHICLE. SPECIAL CAMBER/CASTOR ADJUSTER KIT MUST BE PURCHASED AND INSTALLED AT MY EXPENSE TO ALLOW ADJUSTMENT. OTHERWISE TIRES WILL CONTINUE TO WEAR UNEVENLY AND CAUSE PREMATURE FAILURE AND POSSIBLE LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL. *JB
WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH DRIVESHAFT AND THE TIE ROD BROKE . AS A RESULT, VEHICLE ACCELERATED. *AK
I BOUGHT A 2003 FORD EXPEDITION. I HAVE BEEN HAVING PROBLEMS W/ THE RIDE, ONLY TO BE TOLD BY THE DEALER THAT THE ONLY FIX IS TO REPLACE ALL OF THE TIRES. I ONLY HAVE 20000 MILES (ALMOST ALL HIGHWAY) ON THE TIRES, WITH GOOD TREAD DEPTH. ACCORDING TO THE TECHNICIAN "THEY'VE HAD TONS OF PROBLEMS" WITH THE CONTINENTAL CONTITRAC SUV TIRES. IF THIS IS THE CASE, WHY ISN'T THERE A RECALL? THIS VEHICLE IS VERY HARD TO STEER WITH THE TIRE PROBLEM, AND IT SHOULDN'T BE THE CONSUMER THAT PAYS FOR THESE FLAWS.*AK
CONSUMER WAS UNLOADING SOME MATERIALS FROM THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN IT JUMPED FROM PARK INTO REVERSE ON ITS OWN. CONSUMER WAS DRAGGED INTO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE STREET, RESULTING IN INJURY. *AK *SB
VEHICLE WAS LEAKING GAS. CONSUMER TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER FOR REPAIRS, BUT VEHICLE WAS STILL LEAKING GAS FROM THE TOP OF THE GAS TANK, IT CAME FROM THE CAP WHETHER IT WAS FILLED OR NOT.*AK
CONSUMER STATED BRAKE LINE WORE OUT PREMATURELY, AND EXCESSIVE BRAKE DUST WAS PRODUCED. *AK

THE CONTINENTAL CONTRATRAC 265/70R17 TIRES ON MY 2003 FORD EXPEDITION HAVE STRESS CRACKS ON THE SIDEWALLS. SO FAR, THREE OUT OF FOUR. HAVE 25,000 MILES ON IT. AM NOW GOING BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN CONTINENTAL, THE FORD DEALER, AND TIRE DEALER. CONTINENTAL DOES NOT SEEM TO WANT TO CONSIDER THIS A DEFECT. HOWEVER, MY SON'S EXPEDITION-IDENTICAL AND PURCHASED SAME DAY AS MINE, NOW HAS ONE TIRE DOING SAME THING. *AK

DT: VEHICLE CAUGHT ON FIRE AND BURNED WHILE PARKED FRO ABOUT 6-7 HOURS. VEHICLE HAD BEEN PARKED FOR ABOUT 6-7 HOURS. FIRE DEPARTMENT STATED THAT THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE WAS UNDETERMINED. FIRE STARTED UNDER THE HOOD, AND BURNED EVENLY THROUGHOUT THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE, ALL THE WAY BACK TO JUST ABOUT THE PASSENGER DOORS ON THE OUTSIDE, AND ABOUT TO THE BACK GATE ON THE INSIDE.*AK
WHILE DRIVING 70 MPH FRONT SIDE AIR BAGS INADVERTENTLY DEPLOYED. CONSUMER DROVE HOME. DEALERSHIP WAS NOTIFIED, BUT DID NOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM. *AK
THE DEALERSHIP REPLACED THE FRONT AND REAR PADS AT 14,000 MILES, AND RESURFACED THE ROTORS. AT 23,000 MILES WHEN CONSUMER APPLIED APPLIED THE BRAKES, THEY PULSATED. DEALER INDICATED TO THE CONSUMER THAT FRONT ROTORS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.*AK THE DEALER REPLACED THE BRAKE FLUID BECAUSE IT WAS BURNT. THE CONSUMER SUSPECTED THERE WAS PRESSURE ON THE BRAKE PADS PROBABLY FROM THE ABS. *JB
CONSUMER STATED THAT THE SEAT BELT ON THE THIRD ROW/MIDDLE LOCKED. HIS 4 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WAS SEATED THERE. THE SEAT BELT WOULD NOT RELEASE THE CHILD. INSTEAD OF THE SEAT TIGHTENED UP. CONSUMER HAD TO GO TO THE DEALER AND HAVE THE SEAT BELT CUT OFF HIS CHILD. IT WAS VERY FRIGHTENING TO HIM , HIS WIFE, AND THE CHILD. *AK
EXCESSIVE BRAKE DUST ACCUMULATION SINCE NEW. ROTORS HAVE BEEN TURNED ONCE AND NOW NEED TO BE REPLACED WITH PADS AT 23,600 MILES. *AK
