ABS, BRAKE FAILURE, WHEN BRAKES ARE APPLIED, HAS EXTENDED STOPPING DISTANCE IN FOR REPAIR CAN NOT BE REPAIRED. TT

WHILE DRIVING ON THE INTOWN INTERSTATE, THE REAR LEFT TIRE SEPERATED, CAUSING SEVERE DAMAGE TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE VEHICLE. I CONTACTED FIRESTONE AT THE TIME WITH DELIVERY OF THE ACTUAL TIRE PER THEIR REQUEST. WE LATER RECEIVED A LETTER STATING THEIR OPINION OF THE CAUSE OF SEPARATION WAS NO RELATED TO MANUFACTURE DEFECT. ALTHOUGH, APPOX. 30% USABLE TREAD WAS LEFT ON TIRE. AS A SAFE DRIVER I WAS ABLE TO CONTROL MY VEHICLE AT THIS TIME WITHOUT CAUSING DAMAGE TO OTHERS. MY VEHICLE SUSTAINED BODY DAMAGE TO THE LEFT SIDE. WE HAVE READ THE CURRENT ARTICLES RELATING TO THIS BRAND & MAKE OF TIRE AND FEEL THIS TO BE THE SAME PROBLEM THAT FIRESTONE DENIED AT THE TIME OF OUR CLAIM. PE00 020; CONSUMER WAS TRAVELING ABOUT 60MPH ON TURNPIKE. THEN, VEHICLE STARTED VIBRATING, AND IT WAS HARD TO CONTROL. RIGHT TIRE EXPLODED, AND THE TREAD SEPARATED. ALSO, TIRE DAMAGED RIGHT REAR MOLDING/ MUDD FLAPPS AND THE TRIMMING ON THE SIDE OF VEHICLE. TIRE WAS FIRESTONE #ATX, P23575 R15, AND #DOT VD. *AK
