INTERMITTENTLY THE VEHICLE STALLS , GIVING THE DRIVER NO INDICATION. THE DEALER AND MANUFACTURER HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED. *AK
WHENEVER COMING TO A STOP OR PULLING OFF FROM A STOP SIGN OR A LIGHT, VEHICLE WILL STALL AND CUT OFF. CONSUMER VEHICLE HAS BEEN IN THE SHOP 8 TIMES AND THEY CAN'T DETERMINE THE PROBLEM. VEHICLE IS RUNNING INTERMITTENTLY. *AK *ML

STALLS WHEN SHIFTING FROM REVERSE TO DRIVE. DEALER CANNOT DUPLICATE. NEAR COLLISION IN PARKING LOT. *AK
AFTER CRUISE CONTROL SHUTS OFF FROM BRAKE PEDAL OR PUSHING THE OFF BUTTON ON STEERING COLUMN THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL BECOMES STIFF AND DIFFICULT TO DEPRESS IT SMOOTHLY. THIS HAPPENS UNTIL THE MOTOR IS TURNED OFF. I REPORTED THIS PROBLEM, WHICH SEEMS VERY OBVIOUS TO ME, TO FREEHOLD FORD. THEIR TECHNICIAN CAN'T IDENTIFY THE PROBLEM.
VEHICLE ACCELERATES WHILE CONSUMERS FOOT IS ON THE BRAKE PEDAL, IT WILL ACCELERATE WHEN GOING FORWARD AND WHEN GOING IN REVERSE WITH THE WHEEL TURNED, DEALER INSTALLED A THROTTLE PLATE, HOWEVER THAT DID NOT REMEDY THE PROBLEM, THEY ALSO INSTALLED A BATTERY THAT DID NOT REMEDY THE PROBLEM. *SLC
CRUISE CONTROL FAILED RESULTING IN IT NOT DISENGAGING WHILE BRAKING CAUSING A VEHICLE COLLISION.

WHILE DRIVER WAITED TO PULL INTO A GAS STATION WITH FOOT ON THE BRAKE PEDAL, ALL OF A SUDDEN THE TRUCK SURGED AND THE ACCELERATOR WENT ON FULL BLAST, CAUSING DRIVER TO CRASH INTO A BRICK WALL. THE PROBLEM WAS REPORTED TO FORD. THE VEHICLE IS BEING REPAIRED BY A BODY SHOP. *AK

FRONT SHOULDER BELT TIGHTENED UP SO MUCH THAT IT PINNED CONSUMER WHEN DRIVING ON ROUGH SURFACES. CONSUMER LIVED WERE THERE WERE MAJORITY OF ROUGH ROADS. DEALER SAID THERE WERE NO PROBLEM WITH SEAT BELT, IT WAS DOING WHAT IT WAS SUPPOSE TO DO. *AK

VEHICLE SUSPENSION DOES NOT PROVIDE ADEQUATE STABILITY. WHILE DRIVING IN WET CONDITIONS, THE DRIVER LOSS CONTROL AT 45MPH AND STRUCK A GUARDRAIL.
THE POOR PERFORMANCE OF FIRESTONE TIRES ON WATER LED TO ACCIDENT ON AN INTERSTATE HIGHWAY, SUSPENSION MAKES VEHICLE SUSCEPTIBLE TO ROLL OVER, CONSUMER COULD NOT REGAIN CONTROL OF VEHICEL ONCE IT BEGAN TO HYDROPLANED, VEHICLE VEERED TOWARDS THE RIGHT UNTIL IT HIT A GAURDRAIL. *ET
VEHICLE HYDROPLANED AND DRIVER LOST CONTROL DUE TO POOR TIRE(FIRESTONE WILDERNESS) TRACTION RESLTING IN AN ACCIDENT AND DUE TO POOR STABILITY OF THE DESIGN IT RESULTED IN VEHICLE ROLL OVER.
ALTERNATOR ASSEMBLY WAS REPLACED AFTER FAILURE AT 8324 MILES. *YC
FAIRLY NEW TIRE FAILED WHILE DRIVING ON WELL MAINTAINED ROADS. RECENT NEWS ARTICLES ABOUT THESE FAILURES INITIATED THIS REPORT. AT THE TIME OF FAILURE THE HERTZ AGENCY MENTIONED THEY HAD, HAD SEVERAL FAILURES. *AK( DOT NUMBER: TIRE SIZE: UNKNOWN )
WHILE DRIVING 65 MPH THE SIDE WINDOW ON THE DRIVER'S SIDE SHATTERED ONTO THE ROAD. CAUSE UNKNOWN. *AK CONSUMER STATES THAT THE LARGE GLASS PANEL FLEW OFF THE VHEICLE, THE SERVICE MANAGER STATED THAT THE WINDOW WAS NEVER BOLTED ON, IT WAS ONLY GLUED. *SLC
DEALER WAS CONTACTED ON JULY 28, AND THE BOLT WAS NOT IN. THEY WOULD CONTACT CONSUMER WHEN IT ARRIVED TO RESCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT, CONSUMER CONTACTED DEALER ON AUGUST 13, AND BOLT WAS IN. SHE HAD NOT BEEN NOTIFIED CONCERNING RESCHEDULING OF APPOINTMENT. *AK
DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD IN A HEAVY RAIN AND WINDSHIELD WIPER DID NOT WORK. WINDSHIELD WIPERS HAVE BEEN REPLACED ALREADY THREE TIMES. CONSUMER CONTACTED DEALER. *AK
THROTTLE PEDAL CONTINUALLY STICKS WHEN INITIALLY ENGAGED IN EITHER DRIVE OR REVERSE. CAUSES LUNGE IN DIRECTION OF TRAVEL IF DRIVER UNAWARE OF DEFECT. SUBMITTED TO DEALER TWICE, STILL NOT REPAIRED. POOR SEATBELT DESIGN HAS DRIVER'S SEATBELT CONTINUALLY STUCK IN DRIVERS DOOR UPON EXIT FROM VEHICLE. REAR PASSENGER WINDOW SCRAPES AND MAKES NOISE DURING OPERATION. DEALER DID NOT FIX WHEN INITIALLY BROUGHT UP AFTER INITIAL PURCHASE. ABS LIGHT INTERMITTENTLY APPEARS DURING DRIVING. DEALER NOTED CODE OF 1924 BUT HAD NO RESPONSE FOR PROBLEM. NOT RESOLVED. DISSAPOINTED WITH QUALITY OF VEHICLE FOR $$ PAID.
