VEHICLE HAS BEEN RETURNED TO DEALER FOUR TIMES SINCE PURCHASED NEW. THE RIGHT FRONT BRAKE CATCHES WHEN BRAKES ARE APPLIED, CAUSING THE RIGHT FRONT BRAKES TO SKID ON ROAD SURFACE. THIS HAS BEEN ESPECIALLY DANGEROUS DURING WINTER CONDITIONS AND HAS CAUSED THE VEHICLE TO GO INTO AN UNWANTED SKID, WITH LOSS OF CONTROL.
WHEN BRAKES ARE APPLIED ON WET SURFACES THE BRAKES GRAB AND PULL TO ONE SIDE. THE DEALER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED. *AK
WHEN BRAKES ARE APPLIED ON WET SURFACES THEY GRAB, CAUSING THE VEHICLE TO PULL TO ONE SIDE. OWNER HAS HAD THE ROTORS REPLACED. THE DEALER HAS BEEN NOTIFIED. *AK
WHENEVER THE WEATHER IS DAMP AND VEHICLE HAS BEEN PARKED FOR HALF HOUR OR MORE, THE BRAKES GRAB WHEN TOUCHED. ALSO, THEY LOCK UP AND SQUEAL ON DRY PAVEMENT. *AK
LEFT FRONT MAKES ALOUD BANG AND SHAKES THE ENTIRE BODY DUE TO 4-WHEEL DRIVE LOCKING HUBS TRYING TO ENGAGE, ALTHOUGH DRIVER HAD NOT ENGAGED THEM.

THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE REAR BUCKET SEAT IS NOT PROPERLY MANUFACTURED. WHEN A CHILD IS PLACED IN THE SEAT BELT THE CHILD'S HEAD TOUCHES THE REAR WINDOW. DEALER HAS NOT BEEN CONTACTED. *AK
STARTER ENGAGED WHILE VEHICLE WAS PARKED AND UNOCCUPIED RESULTING IN WIRING OVERHEATING AND FIRE OCCURING. NLM
REAR TANK WAS PUMPING FUEL INTO THE OTHER TANK, CAUSING IT TO OVERFLOW AND LEAK GAS. DEALER HAS REPLACED FUEL PUMP AND CHECK VALVES. *AK
WHILE DRIVING AND WHEN THE POWER DOOR LOCK AND UNLOCK BUTTON IS DEPRESSED FOR EITHER DRIVER'S SIDE OR PASSENGER'S SIDE, DRIVER SIDE DOOR OPENS UP, CAUSING DRIVER'S SIDE OCCUPANT TO ALMOST FALL OUT OF VEHICLE. CONSUMER HAS YET TO CONTACT THE DEALER. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK
DRIVER CARPET TYPE FLOOR MAT WILL NOT STAY SECURED TO FLOOR. KEEPS SLIDING FORWARD AND BUNCHES UP UNDER BRAKE/GAS PEDAL. DEALER REPLACED CLIP/POST TO FLOOR BUT STILL DOESN'T HOLD. I NEARLY HAD A BAD ACCIDENT BECAUSE OF THIS PROBLEM.
BALL JOINTS AND TIE RODS DRY ROTTED, CAUSING THE FRONT END TO COLLAPSE. DEALER AND MANUFACTURER HAVE BEEN NOTIFIED. *AK
A MALFUNCTION WITHIN THE CHECK VALVE AND FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY CAUSES A PORTION OF UNUSED FUEL TO TRANSFER FROM ONE TANK TO THE SECOND TANK, CAUSING FUEL LEAKAGE. VEHICLE WAS NOT INCLUDED IN RECALL 93V125000/ FUEL TANK: AUXILLARY SELECTOR AND SWITCH. PLEASE GIVE ANY FURTHER DETAILS. *AK

LOUD CRACKING OR CREAKING SOUND WHENEVEER MAKING A TURN AT ANY SPEED - STARTED ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO VERY MINOR BUT NOW CREAKS QUITE ALOT - A TSB APPPLIES BUT FORD WILL NOT PAY ANY MONEY TOWARD THE REPAIR DESPITE THE FACT THAT THIS SEEMS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM ACCORDING TO THE SHOP MANAGER AT THE DEALERSHIP DON IZZET - THE TSB STATES THAT RIVETS ON THE FRAME COME LOOSE AND MUST BE REPLACED WITH BOLTS - I THINK FORD SHOULD PAY FOR THE REPAIRS AS IT IS A DEFECT IN THE MANUFACTURER. *AK

DUE TO PLACEMENT OF DRIVER AIRBAG THE HORN BUTTONS ARE DIFFICULT TO USE WHEN TRYING TO WARN OTHER DRIVERS THAT SUDDENLY VEER INTO MY LANE. SEVERAL COWORKER THAT DRIVE SIMILAR VEHICLES HAVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. THE HORN BUTTONS ARE AT 3 OCLOCK AND 9 OCLOCK, THEIR SIZE IS ABOUT 1 INCH BY 5/8 INCH. WITH THE SIZE AND PLACEMENT OF THE HORN BUTTONS IN A HURRY MOST TIMES THE AIRBAG IS HIT RATHER THAN THE HORN.*AK
MY DAUGHTER PLACED THE TRANSMISSION IN PARK. SHE GOT OUT OF THE TRUCK WHICH WAS PARKED ON A SLIGHT INCLINE AND WALKED BEHIND THE SMALL TRAILER SHE WAS PULLING TO CLOSE A GATE. THE TRUCK TRANSMISSION FAILED OR RELEASED AND THE TRAILER AND TRUCK BOTH RAN OVER, RESULTING IN HER DEATH. DT
