My transmission started acting up, as in slipping, missing gears completely, and numerous times while in 10th gear.(10 speed transmission) it tried to drop down to first gear. Scared me pretty bad considering I was on highway. After that it would start out in 4th gear. Someone had told me there was a recall out for this problem, so I looked into it. All this happening is part of a Ford recall yet my vin number is not showing any recalls? I don’t understand so now my truck sits because I can’t afford 10,000 for a new one to be put in. I took it in to the shop to have it looked at, I paid 600 for a transmission filter to be replaced and was told by the owner after he put it on the computer that the only code was a communication error. Didn’t see anything when replacing filter that showed any signs of wear in transmission
Cam phasers, turbos, exhaust manifolds. Cam phasers failed in the truck and started to make are really bad rattling noise on the cold start. After it warmed up it had the sound of a diesel engine. Mechanics said this an issue with this vehicle and only has a TSB put out for it. Mechanic stated if it wasn’t repaired could cause further damage to the engine due to metal pieces from cam phasers. Exhaust manifolds are warped and created a leak. Could smell exhaust from the leak and needed to be replaced. Turbos where leaking oil as well, truck doesn’t tow any type of trailer or heavy weight. Mechanic stated this is also a common issue with these trucks. All repairs where done within a month of each other. Mechanic also stated that the transmissions in these trucks have issues. Slipping gears, hard shifting etc. my vehicle is showing some signs of these issues. But doesn’t seem to be as concerning at this time. Could be a issue in the future
The transmission, I was going down the road two separate times drop down into first gear and the truck nose dives while me and my wife were in it and locked up the truck and has done it two separate times I’ve had it taken to two separate transmission shops says transmission is bad in it Because it drop gears and locks the truck up basically so it’s unsafe to drive and has not been driven in a months sitting in my front yard making a $34,000 loan payment of 700 a month on a vehicle that I can’t drive because it’s unsafe.

Sitting in the parked vehicle when suddenly the back window shattered.
Hello, The suspension on this truck is coil (spring) over the shock. The spring just sheared sitting in my driveway under no load what-so-ever. This could have easily caused an accident and somebody could have been killed. I googled this and did find another incident of this exact thing happening to the same year/model truck. The vehicle is at the dealer service department now. There were no warning at all before this happened and this truck has been "babied" for its whole life. I do have photos....but my phone will not send them right now for some reason. Thanks!
My 2018 F150 has a faulty transmission, started slipping and down shifting. These transmissions need to be recalled. In the shop now. These on going issues need to be addressed and resolved. Thank you [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
The radio goes black giving no indication to why and no way to adjust the heated steering wheel or the climate controls.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated while depressing the accelerator pedal, the vehicle accelerated at excessive speeds. The contact aggressively depressed the brake pedal and shifted into neutral to decelerate and slow the vehicle to a stop. The failure was intermittent and occurred at various speeds. The contact’s son inspected the vehicle and determined that a fuse related to the cruise control might be defective. The contact’s son had replaced the fuses. While driving approximately 10 MPH and coming to a stop sign, the contact decided to come closer to the stop sign however, the vehicle accelerated past the stop sign. The contact attempted to depress the brake pedal several times however, the vehicle failed to stop until approximately a block away from the stop sign. There was a certified mechanic nearby who inspected the vehicle but found no cause for the failure. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that the cruise control fuse had failed. The dealer replaced the fuse. The contact was uncomfortable with the fuse being in the vehicle, so the dealer removed the fuse to deactivate the cruise control. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a complaint was filed. The manufacturer referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The failure mileage was 90,000.
2018 Ford F150 2.7 with 133,000 miles. Not shifting properly and jerking into gears. Shifted down into first from 10th while traveling down the interstate. Stalled in the middle of the road while making a turn from a stop sign and then jerked I to gear and started driving again. Went to the dealership back in May where I bought it from and they advised me that it’s the transmission and this is a known problem with all 2018 F150 transmissions. Advised me the only fix was to replace it. Now in November it has gotten worse and when I try to get above 70 mph quickly (passing a vehicle on the interstate), it starts jerking hard repeatedly. Also, it automatically will kick my cruise control off while going down the highway. Controls in the steering wheel stop working properly.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated there was an abnormal rattling sound coming from the vehicle while cold starting the vehicle. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the vehicle was diagnosed with a defective cam phaser. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle was idling very rough. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where the failure was linked to Customer Satisfaction Program: 21N03 (Cam Phaser Replacement) Engine and Engine Cooling; however, the vehicle was not included. The vehicle was taken to another local dealer where it was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 72,000.
The cam phasers on this truck make all the sounds and issues that others have experienced in the f-150. they need to be replaced asap. vehicle is at 83000 miles.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the cam phasers had been previously repaired in the past. The contact stated the vehicle was shuddering and lost motive power while driving. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed and determined that the cam phasers were sticky and was making an abnormally loud sound. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 52,509.
While driving my truck along the highway on April 29, 2024, it spontaneously burst into flames. I pulled it over, and it was completely engulfed in flames and melted into a puddle of molten aluminum. In the last 18 month, this truck has spent over 45 days at the dealership with 10 separate repairs including transmission replacement, cylinder heads, oil leaks, all under 75,000 miles. The smoke and smell began under the back seat passenger floorboards, and within 45 seconds, was burning. I have pictures, video, witnesses, and police reports for corroboration. There was no accident, no impact, no nothing. It simply lit itself on fire.
On a weekly basis while operating my truck, I've encountered an issue where the transmission disengages unexpectedly, leading to erratic shifting into various gears. These incidents frequently occur on busy roads, posing a potential hazard as the transmission shifts from 10th gear down to 1st gear. This matter has not yet been formally inspected by the manufacturer, law enforcement, or insurance agencies. Notably, no warning lights or error indicators are displayed. Ford is aware of the issues pertaining to their 10R80 transmission.
The vehicle is available for inspection and evaluation if needed. Also can provide all records for service and repairs over last 2 years. Transmission failure hard shifting between gears 3-5 and 8-10, downshifting while driving vehicle will slow down and downshift even when accelerating. Had evaluated at several ford dealership that stated a new transmission was only solution after several attempts for re calibration and reprogramming. Causing a safety issue when accelerating and at high speeds. Yes my safety has been put at risk multiple times. Also the risk for passengers in the vehicle as well. The problem was reproducible several times at dealerships and repair shops. And all places stated the only way to fix is with new transmission which was purchased in 2024. There were warning lights (check engine) came on and transmission was overheating with normal city driving and highway driving. Every time the light would come on it was evaluated by a dealership every time. was told be dealership at initial notice of issue in April of 2024 that it was OK to drive with the shifting the way it was, that it was uncomfortable but that it wouldn't harm the transmission, which was not true. It continued to increase in severity until it was also overheating and unable to be driven.
I have had multiple issues concerning the transmission on my 2018 F-150. The issue that occurs most is after starting the truck and shifting into forward, the vehicle jumps from 1st, to 4th, and quickly back to 2nd gear. When it shifts back to 2nd gear the truck feels like it is being hit hard from behind. When it finally engages, the transmission skips 3rd gear every time. At times the transmission disengages when attempting to get into traffic from a side street. When the transmission does engage, the vehicle shutters hard, goes into too high of a gear, and has trouble getting to speed. I need to let off the gas to allow the transmission to downshift. Once again when it downshifts, it feels as if I am being hit hard from behind. When in city traffic, the transmission occasionally feels like it shifts into neutral when the vehicle is at low speeds. The engine races to high RPMs, the transmission engages, and the truck feels like it was hit by another car. I have also experienced shifting issues when attempting to safely pass other vehicles. The transmission had trouble shifting and I was left in the passing lane with a transmission that won't engage. Recently (04/23/2024) the transmission shifted from 1st, to 7th, to 2nd, to 7th, and to 4th. The wrench icon illuminated on my dashboard. I was less than a quarter mile from home. The transmission would not shift out of 1st after this. My F-150 has less than 60,000 miles on the odometer.
I was riding down the road the truck started to run hot then it slammed on brakes the power steering went out the panel the instrument panel was black I couldn't roll my windows down the truck was in drive but it wouldn't go and the motor was still running though and then it came all came back up and then it did this all the way home it would slam on break it didn't matter if I was going 30 or 60 and then it shut off before it got home and then the only way to get it going again was to jump it off
March 2024 I went to Pep Boys to assist and replace Spark Plugs and Coils because of a Random Misfire Code. Sometime during April 2024 my F-150 began to randomly shift while driving, down shift, jerk surge like it wants to take-off accelerating, and jump to a random gear 6, 8, 4, and back to 7 and automatically switch to limp mode. I took my truck to a performance shop they recommended software updates and suspected transmission. After the updates, I took my F-150 to Firestone because it started throwing P0420 and P0430 Codes. Firestone did a diagnostic and airflow test, recommended New Catalytic Converters. However, the Truck still Jerks and shifts erratically to gears and downshifts to lower gears while driving. After coming to a complete stop, the truck is slow to accelerate as it feels like the rear axle is locked, then jerks and stalls like it is turned off. after 2-3 seconds it surges to next gear and downshifts again. I called Ford and several of the local service departments to inspect my F-150 and each one tells me that I have to leave my truck with them for 3 weeks because they are behind. I asked if they provide loaners and they all said no. On 19 June 2024 I called Ford Motor Co. to complain, and they contacted the same local Ford Service Centers on my behalf to see if they could help to book an appointment. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything they could do to help because the service managers at 3 different locations said they are backed up and if I wanted their help, I would need to get in line by leaving my truck with them and expect a 3 week delay. I have a 2018 Ford F-150 5.0L 4x4 Sport Edition, I can switch the Truck to Manual Mode and it drives fine, therefore I know that my Transmision is still in good working order. However, in Automatic, Sport or Econo mode my truck has the erratic, rough idling, random gear shifts and sluggish acceleration at complete stops.
The engine makes a popping sound, acceleration and deceleration rattles and response delay. Dealer repair was a replacement of the intake manifold/runner controls. Service advisor advised the dowels that hold the interior parts and runners come lose due to improper factory installation or defect. The popping is raw gas causing the popping. When the runners fall out the vehicle will lose power. Obvious safety defect and concern to the public. The vehicle has 30K miles, no warning light or computer error shown at the dealer, obvious concern with this. Concern with transmission delay, clunking and jerking, along with the poor running engine. The dealer said this was normal and again no warning light comes on or computer code. All repairs and concerns have been addressed with the dealer. Ford is res041920ponsible for a poorly built truck and lack of warning systems in place.
The vehicle hesitates for several seconds and then very forcefully hard shifts going from 7th to 8th gear every time. If I am stuck in a steady flow of traffic where it is constantly shifting up and down for lights or people stopping to turn, the vehicle will sometimes lurch and hesitate multiple times in a row like it's playing tug of war. I've taken it to to the dealer for all my regular oil changes and Ford keeps telling me it's normal because of the "adaptive driving". It has done this since I purchased the vehicle in 2019 and progressively gotten more aggressive as time goes. I currently have just over 75k miles currently. I can get online and search 2018 ford 10 speed transmission hard shift issues and people are complaining left and right. Many have said it has led to transmission failure prematurely, as early as 65k miles. Ford has no fix for the issue but all the Ford service departments know about it. We have seen service bulletins released regarding the issue but no permanent solution to actually fix the issue. And yet, Ford still refuses to issue a recall for this specific transmission issue. We already have a 2018 Ford focus with a blown motor at 65k miles sitting in our driveway due to Fords neglect and I doubt it will be long before we have a broken truck too if this is allowed to go unaddressed. I am terrified that I will be driving to or from work and the transmission will fail catastrophically and leave me stranded on a busy highway with no shoulders. I hope this persuades someone to take action. Thank you.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the check engine warning light illuminated. In addition, the contact noticed smoke exiting the tail pipe. The vehicle was taken to the dealer however, the failure could not be duplicated. The contact was advised to have an oil change performed. The vehicle received an oil change; however, the contact stated that the failure reoccurred three months later. In addition, the contact stated that the oil level was 2-quarts low, and smoke was coming from the tail pipe again. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where it was diagnosed with catalytic convertor failure. The contact was informed that the catalytic convertor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the catalytic convertor was replaced one year prior. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated while the vehicle was parked with a trailer hitched to the vehicle, the contact noticed that the trailer hitch receiver was at a downward angle from the trailer hitch, which could cause a trailer that was being pulled to be at an angled position instead of being level. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was being diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 80,000.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving approximately 10 MPH and depressing the accelerator pedal, the engine was revving however, the vehicle failed to respond. The contact stated that the vehicle made an abnormal banging sound and then lurched forward. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the failure only occurred while depressing the accelerator pedal. The contact attempted to use the transmission setting for "SPORT" Mode and the hesitation and loud abnormal sound were worse while shifting into gear. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a local dealer or independent mechanic. The vehicle was not diagnosed and was not repaired. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at slow speeds and entering traffic, the accelerator pedal was depressed, and the gear shifter slipped into neutral. The gear shifter indicated that the vehicle was in eighth gear but failed to move. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed that the cam phaser and rear differential had failed. The transmission drum had shifted, and a transmission replacement was recommended. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted and informed the contact that there was no recall or warranty coverage on the vehicle and referred him to the NHTSA Hotline. The failure mileage was approximately 129,000.
Transmission started dropping into 1st gear from higher speeds of around 20 to 30 miles an hour before it started missing gears and I had to have it rebuilt.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormal rattling sound coming from the engine compartment. The vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to Customer Satisfaction Program: 21N03. The manufacturer was notified of the failure, a case was opened, and the contact was referred to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. The failure mileage was 75,000.
Transmission shifts very hard and sometimes does not stop when at stop signs. This is very dangerous. I have a two year old son and my truck almost got T-boned due to the transmission not shifting gears properly. I’ve had it to the ford dealership twice now with no solution. No lights on, no codes coming up. It has been doing this since I purchased the truck with 27,000 miles on it.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated while starting the vehicle, the vehicle made an abnormally loud rattling sound. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 113,000.
[Recall] Power Train:Automatic Transmission:Gear Position Indication (Prndl) Reported by investor, as recall was sent via email, but not listed on site. please report. THANKS
no accident but could have been disastrous. while driving down highway truck shifted from 10th down to 1st then back to 10th. also having issues with transmission jumping around in gears. 1to 4th back to 2nd up to 5th then rpms winding out before going into gear, or if i try to speed up it just cuts power completely. i dont see my truck under any recalls when i put my vin in which i dont understand. took to ford and they quoted 10,000 for new transmission or 6,000 for some module. warranty is past, just over 100,000 miles on it. paying a 701.00 truck payment for a truck that's out of commission sitting in my yard. first brand new vehicle ive ever purchased, what a joke. i love the truck but this is bs.
Truck shifts hard and loses acceleration, sporadically. Several times in the middle of left turning intersections my truck would not accelerate, nearly causing other oncoming vehicles to t-bone me. Took it to an auto shop, they stated it is a dealer repair only Took it to Ford dealer, they suspect CDF drum bushing is shifted. Quoted me $10K My truck has been parked since April 2024, I pay $650.00 a month on it and Ford refuses to assist because I was 2000 miles over my extended warranty. I paid $40K for a vehicle that I drove for 20 months until April 2024 which its been parked for 1.5 years. Fast Forward to this week when I found out there is a class action lawsuit, I called on that, they said it could take several years for resolution and I should pay for the repair. I called Ford corporate, they said because there is no recall, they cannot help.
Left valve cover cracked causing an oil leak. Oil runs down to exhaust manifold and could cause a fire. On Ford's Blue Oval forum we found multiple occasions with images of the identical situation.
Oil pan leak. I was informed that this is a chronic issue with this engine due to material and sealant used during manufacturing.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that upon a cold start of the engine, an abnormal, rattling sound would emit from the engine without warning. Upon investigation, the contact linked the failure to the engine's cam phasers which were associated with Technical Service Bulletin: 21-2119. The contact took the vehicle to a dealer where they acknowledged the failure and referred the contact to the manufacturer. The manufacturer was notified but informed the contact that there were no recalls on the vehicle. The manufacturer later referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to file a complaint. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
The transmission is juming out of gear going down roadway causing me to lose traction and in some cases pauses when I try to cross intersections and the transmision jumps in forward motion at stop signs and red lights with no warning . The motor will go to redline high rpm and I have to apply brakes hard to slow down or reduce action to avoid wrecks. This action is very dangerous to me and my family and other cars. The dash warning light came on 5 miles after the first event. and it comes and goes now. This started about 6 months I have checked with Ford dealerships and professional auto services, They all say the same thing , Ford should recall and fix this very dangerous transmission.they say it is the 10 speed transmission. I am glad to make it available for future inspections.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that upon shifting from park(P) to drive(D), and while driving at various speeds, the vehicle unexpectedly downshifted to first gear. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the failure was confirmed, and the contact was provided an estimate for the repair. The dealer stated that the VIN was not under recall for the failure. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline to report the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 103,000.
Harsh and erratic shifting including going into neutral when accelerating. I almost got T-boned by on coming traffic. Now people honk at me cause I’m scared to turn on yellow light.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that upon starting the vehicle, there was an abnormal knocking sound coming from the engine. There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where the vehicle was diagnosed with defective cam phasers. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA Hotline for assistance. Upon investigation, the contact related the failure to Customer Satisfaction Program: 21N03. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 75,000.
While approaching a highway exit ramp I felt a brief loss of power. At the light at the end of the exit ramp the truck would not move. Engine RPMs increased but the truck only rolled forward on a slight decline. After a brief period, the transmission engaged with a loud bang. No check engine light was illuminated at this time. The truck was brought to a transmission shop where they found no faults or computer codes. A service (fluid and filter) was completed. It was notice over the next few weeks that the truck would drop in and out of gear at highway speeds. The check engine light came on over this time period. The truck was brought to a Ford dealer and diagnosed with a CDF Clutch Cylinder problem per TSB 24-2101. As the truck is out of warranty with approx 87,000 miles, I was told I would be responsible for this repair. Why is Ford allowed to ignore what is a potential safety issue with this transmission? If this was known it should have been replaced in the warranty period, or a recall issued. In this specific case there was no incident with another vehicle or vehicles.
Three occurrences within a week, low oil pressure and check engine light illuminated on 2018 F-150. Twice at cruising speed (20-50 mph) and once when accelerating(60-70mph) to pass. When accelerating to pass, light(s) illuminated, and experience a temporary loss of power. Took vehicle for inspection and notified vehicle was 6 quarts low. Vehicle had last had oil change approx. 5,000 miles before incident, and had no evidence of leaking. I was given a copy of TSB 19-2365(Excessive Oil Consumption) and advised to see dealer. Dealer stated this was a known issue, even though not widely published/disseminated . Dealer charged for performing maintenance under TSB and advised to return in 3,000 miles.
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that on several occasions when the vehicle was started, the vehicle lost motive power and jerked violently while accelerating. The power train warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the transmission and the START/STOP pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 46,000.
The warning light came on the truck which was the wrench symbol on Saturday March 30. Over the past couple weeks the transmission has been doing harsh shifting, jerking, loss of power or just hesitantion its as though the truck doesn't know what gear it needs to be in while driving it will go 10th gear to first gear without any warning. We took the truck to our local ford dealership on April 5th to have the transmission filter changed and the transmission flushed the service technician then drove it afterwards and left a detailed description of what the truck was doing. After paying for the repair the service representative told me basically the transmission needed to be replaced. This is a very well know issue with the 10r80 transmission.
Subject: Urgent Resolution Required for Defective 2018 Ford F150 Truck Dear [Dealership Manager/General Manager], I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with the 2018 Ford F150 truck I purchased from your dealership five months ago. Despite being certified pre-owned by Ford, the vehicle has been plagued by significant mechanical issues, primarily excessive oil consumption, leading to engine and transmission failure. This situation is deeply troubling, as it not only poses a major safety concern but also represents a significant financial burden and inconvenience. Despite repeated attempts to address these issues through servicing at Ford Sawgrass, the truck has been deemed unserviceable, necessitating a new engine and transmission. My efforts to seek resolution from Ford Motor Company have been met with indifference, as they have cited a third-party warranty that allegedly supersedes their responsibility. Similarly, Grieco Ford of Delray Beach has been unresponsive to my complaints, citing the "as is" nature of the sale. I am requesting immediate action from Ford Motor Company to rectify this situation, including providing a new engine and transmission or compensating Sawgrass Ford for the necessary repairs. This defect in the 5.0 Coyote engine constitutes consumer fraud, and I expect Ford to take full ownership and accountability for it. I trust that both Ford Motor Company and the NHTSA will uphold their integrity and address this matter promptly. Please consult with Jonathan in the service department at Sawgrass Ford (Tel: 954-851-9000) to expedite the resolution process. I appreciate your urgent attention to this matter and look forward to a swift and satisfactory resolution. You can reach me at [XXX] or via email at [XXX] . Sincerely, INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
Brought my truck into local ford dealership 02/02/21 and picked up 02/15/21. Transmission was slipping when cold. We were still under warranty and they provided a loaner truck. They rebuilt it not replaced. This is the 10R80. The truck is again having slipping issues with transmission . Truck is no longer under warranty. Wanting to know our legal rights
The contact owns a 2018 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormal rumbling sound detected. The vehicle was slow to accelerate, then lunged forward. While accelerating, there was an abnormal ticking sound coming from the vehicle. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the transmission needed to be overhauled. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer informed the contact to upgrade the fuel. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 41,000.
