When in reverse the backup Camera Goes to a clear image then randomly goes from a Black screen to a Green Screen and then back to normal. During that whole process and chime goes off in the truck. A message is displayed on the dash but it disappears too fast. The dealership has been able to recreate the problem but unable to repair my truck because they can’t catch the truck doing that error while hooked up to their computer system. Happens about twice a week.
I own a 2025 Ford F-150 Lariat equipped with the factory Tow Package. The truck was sold to me and later serviced under the representation that the trailer brake controller was functional. Duvall Ford in Clayton, GA installed and programmed only a brake controller switch and assured me the trailer brakes were working, without performing a functional brake output test. The truck was later found to be missing the required Trailer Brake Control Module (TBCM), meaning no trailer brakes could ever function. As a result, I unknowingly towed a 30-foot travel trailer from North Carolina to California, across multiple states with zero trailer braking, creating multiple dangerous situations and close calls. Upon reaching California, Aaron Ford of Escondido inspected the vehicle and immediately identified the missing TBCM. They performed the proper repair, with an invoice of $1,043.00. The original dealer’s incomplete and incorrect service directly created this safety hazard. This issue may affect other F-150 trucks that were sold or serviced with incomplete brake controller systems due to Ford’s mislabeled parts catalog.
Ford BlueCruise cut-in non-response Incident date/time: September 29, 2025, ~6:15 PM Location: US-290 East, near Waller, Texas Vehicle: 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning System: Ford BlueCruise (hands-free driver assistance) While traveling eastbound on US-290 with BlueCruise engaged (hands-free with lane centering and adaptive cruise), an 18-wheeler flatbed changed into my lane directly ahead. The system did not decelerate or otherwise respond to the cut-in and continued closing speed on the truck. After a couple of seconds, I manually and rapidly disengaged and braked to prevent a rear-end collision. No contact occurred, but the lack of deceleration created an immediate crash risk.
See attached document for complaint.
complete loss of brakes. there was zero response from the brake pedal for several complete pumps to the floor. after about 4 complete "stomps", the brakes locked, resulting in a violent and sudden stop. at the time, the dash began flashing multiple warning messages about display failure and also ABS failure and making many alarm sounds, further distracting me from dealing with a very dangerous situation. Had this occurred at speed and not at a fast idle speed, serious injury or death would likely have occurred. this is a Xcelerate fleet vehicle, and fleet services took the vehicle to a non-dealership shop, which claims to have fixed the problem but could not complete the recall repairs. fleet has only just today agreed to tow the vehicle to a Ford dealership for recall repair. This incident occurred on 9/26/2025.
Complete backup camera failure showing black screen. Third time system has failed.
The Ford BlueCruise system almost got my family and myself rear ended with possibly a major injury to death. On our way to San Antonio, Texas from Houston, Texas we were driving across [XXX] withe the BlueCruise engaged. Then out of no where it started giving me the message to place my hands on the steering wheel. My hands were on the steering wheel. It gave me the message 3 times. Then it shook the steering wheel at the same time flashing Resume control. Then it slammed on the brakes. Luckily the truck behind us was paying attention and slammed on their brakes slowing their vehicle down. They drove around us. My wife asked if I did that and I said No, it was the truck. It also did it on the way back to Houston, Texas. After several times of the BlueCruise acting up, I took the truck back to the dealership. It was also turned in for the Brake system recall. iT has been at the dealership for just over a week now p w. The dealership; Tomball Ford, contacted me saying their technician and QC tech couldn't replicate the issue. So, i went up there and had; Ray, the QC tech ride with myself in the truck. Within a mile or 2 the truck's BlueCruise did exactly the same thing. We turned around to head back to the dealership and the truck did it again, but worse. This time the brakes engaged 3 to 4 times slowing the truck down from 60 mph to 30 mph and turning on the Hazard flashers before I turned it off. This time numerous vehicles slowed down and swerved to avoid rereading my truck with both myself and the Tomball Ford QC technician. All the QC technician said, was, "Oh, that's not supposed to do that." I was like [XXX] But your technician couldn't replicate that? The truck is in the shop, but I do have the messages from the service advisor; Ashly, from Tomball Ford. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

While the manufacture states parts are available, I have not been able to get any and have been waiting since October of 2025. NHTSA Recall Number25V512
Brake failure on freeway vehicle has 2000 miles. I almost got off hwy but stayed on shoulder after brake warning avoided hitting cars and coasted with very little brakes. Could cause death vehicle was towed from hwy to the dealer
Short loss of control with a short period of excessive play and a slight shimmy/shaking sensation when turning left into a curve. The issue seems to only occur when turning to the left.
The electronic instrument cluster went completely dark and would not come on after turning off the vehicle and locking and unlocking the truck. The dealer reset the cluster, but claims it was simply "overloaded." This is a major drivability issue as there is no speedometer, no indication of what gear one is in, and the turn signals are inoperable. This is a known problem with no solution.
A piece of reflective cloth like material has fallen from underside of truck bed and onto tailpipe and begun to burn. This creates a fire hazard for anybody using this vehicle. I have two of these similar trucks and it’s happening to both of them before 500 miles.i don’t know if the issue has been verified of reproduced by anybody. The vehicle has not yet been inspected by the dealer or manufacturer. There were no warning lamps or symptoms prior to me finding this by chance as I was replacing a wheel.
The "service" light comes on frequently with a message that there's a powertrain/loss of power issue.
The contact owns a 2025 Ford F-150. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V341000 (SUSPENSION). While attempting to schedule a recall repair appointment, several dealers in the area either failed to answer the phone, and several other dealers were unable to schedule an appointment. However, Loveland Ford (3905 Mountain Lion Dr, Loveland, CO 80537, Phone: (970) 744-7101) initially offered to schedule a mobile appointment but later retracted the offer. The contact notified the manufacturer of the issue. The manufacturer attempted to reach the dealers to schedule a recall repair appointment and was unsuccessful. The contact was seeking assistance in resolving the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
Rear view camera intermittently failed to display image when truck arrived to dealer from manufacturer in Jun 2025 before purchase. Problem confirmed by dealer. Camera replaced by dealer but problem persisted within weeks of purchase. Rear view camera displayed distorted (inverted/reversed) images, flickered on/off, then finally completely failed again. Images/video of camera failing captured and provided to dealer who was able to reproduce problem but has been unable to fix problem over past 4 months due to a reportedly backordered part (coaxial cable). Lack of rear view camera reduces rear visibility when in reverse increasing risk of collision and increases risk of injury to pedestrians, particularly small children. Problems sound identical to those described in media reporting for multiple other Ford recalls on back-up cameras for other models and model years of the F150 raising suspicion that recall may need to be expanded to 2025 F150s
On the morning of Wednesday May 28, 2025 I walked out to 2025 Ford F-150 (5200 miles) when it suddenly sounded as if someone shoot a gun towards me. After standing back up I saw the rear glass had shattered looking as if it exploded from inside out due to the glass being in truck bed and not inside back seat. The four corners of glass were all broken off with giant hole in middle. The truck engine was not on and I had front passenger door open. I called Ford and they stated that they have never seen or heard of this, although I googled it and have seen many forums on same thing happening, and that they are not responsible. It is crazy to think about this happening if I had been driving when this happened and the potential accidents this could have caused on the road.
Loss on all braking systems. Multiple warning lights including on dash. Brakes will become spongy and not stop or lock up all 4 wheels at slightest touch. Taken to dealer who provided a service memo SSM 53683 which basically says vehicle unable to power down and no fix available. Ford is aware of the problem and has done nothing to fix this despite multiple phone calls and emails. This is a significant safety issue Vehicle is also brand new will less than 1000 miles on it
My brand new truck with 3500 miles when the cruise control is set to a speed the truck will randomly accelerate un commanded. This occurs when for no reason the cruise control will select 95 MPH if you at 75 MPH. It will do this at any speed selected. This uncommanded speed can occur multiple times within minutes or can late as long as 30 minutes. Also this uncommanded speed can also occur at lower speed set in the cruise control. This can only be corrected by hitting the brake. This is especially dangerous in traffic and on curves. This has happened in both places as well as on long stretches. I almost rear ended a car in front of me in traffic as I was going 55 and when the speed changed to 95 the truck floored the accelerator with full engine power.
1st incident: shift lever on centre consul " froze" in recessed position and vehicle could not be shifted into gear. Mileage at 500. 2nd incident: Mileage at 1600. With engine running, shift lever " froze" in reverse gear and couldn't be moved. If this happen on a busy street or highway, something serious could occur, even life threatening.
When backing Ford f-150 up on any kind of an incline rear end is locked up for about ten seconds causing a safety risk. When shifting from reverse to drive. Does not do this on a flat surface. Have almost been hit three times now by cars coming around the corner of my street. Does not throw a code. Been at dealership a couple weeks. Dealership sent tech to house to observe. Did it every time! Truck only has 800 miles on it.
The contact owns a 2025 Ford F-150 equipped with Hankook Tires, Tire Line: Dynapro A/T 2, Tire Size: 275/60/R20, DOT Number: (N/A). The contact stated that upon inspection, it was discovered that the rear passenger’s side tire had a 3/4-inch sized tread separation. A replacement tire was installed. The contact later discovered that the same failure had occurred with the front passenger’s side tire. The cause of the failures were not yet determined. The manufacturer and local dealer were notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 5,000.
