2003 6.0 DIESEL ON COLD STARTS THE VEHICLE DISCHARGES BLACK AND BLUE SMOKE FOR A FEW SECONDS, AND I HAVE HAD IT BACK TO THE DEALER SEVERAL TIMES FOR SURGING PROBLEMS AND ROUGH RUNNING, THE IPC SENSOR HAS BEEN REPLACED TWICE, AND STILL HAVE VARIOUS ROUGH RUNNING AND SLIGHT SURGING PROBLEMS, DEALER IS NOW SAYING THAT FORD MOTOR COMPANY HAS STATED THAT THIS IS NORMAL AND ACCEPTABLE FOR THE ALL NEW BEST IN CLASS DIESEL. *JB
THE WHEELS WERE SOFT AND BENT UNDER NORMAL DRIVING CONDITIONS, DUE TO A DEFECT, THE VEHICLE HAD 3 SEPARATE SETS OF TIRES AND EXPERIENCED EXCESSIVE VIBRATION WHILE DRIVING. *JB *CB *JB
ALL FOUR TIRE GO FLAT. DEALER NOTIFIED. PH
CONSUMER STATES WHILE DRIVING THE VEHICLE WITH NO WARNING THE VEHICLE SHUT OFF. DEALER NOTIFIED. TS
WHILE DRIVING AT ANY SPEED VEHICLE STALLED. CONSUMER RESTARTED THE VEHICLE, AND DROVE IT TO THE DEALER FOR INSPECTION NUMEROUS TIMES. HOWEVER, MECHANIC COULD NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM. *AK
WHILE TRAVELING ON THE HIGHWAY THE STEERING COLUMN HAS A LOT OF PLAY INSIDE OF THE STEERING WHEEL. PLEASE PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION DEALER IS AWARE OF THE PROBLEM. TS
2003 FORD F250 WAS IN THE SHOP DUE TO FAILURE TO START AND IT CAUGHT ON FIRE.***NO ANSWER REQUIRED****. *MR *TT *NM
2003 FORD F-250 WITH TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS. CUSTOMER STATES THE DEALER STATED THAT THE TRUCK WAS OUT OF WARRANTY AND NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. TRANSMISSION TEMPERATURE GAUGE SAYS HOT, AND IT STAYS IN THE TOW MODE. *KB THE DEALER STATED THE SUPERCHIPS TUNER CAUSED THE PROBLEM. THE DEALER THEN FLASHED THE COMPUTER AND T HE VEHICLE THEN BEGAN TO SHIFT SOFTER AND NOT AS CRISP UNDER ACCELERATION. *JB
CONSUMER CALLED COMPLAINING ABOUT HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE BRAKES ALSO STATES THAT WHEN HE STEPS INTO THE BRAKE PEDAL THE VEHICLE TURNS VIOLENTLY TO THE LEFT. DEALER WAS CONTACTED AND NO DIAGNOSIS WAS NOT DONE. TS
THE VEHICLE SHAKES REALLY BADLY WHICH MAKES IT HARD TO CONTROL THE VEHICLE. VEHICLE HAS BEEN TAKEN TO THE DEALER THREE TIMES. THE CONSUMER RECEIVED A LETTER FROM THE MANUFACTURER STATING THAT TIRES WERE OUTSIDE THE ROAD FORCE SPECIFICATIONS. *AK
CONSUMER STATED WHILE DRIVING NOTICED VIBRATION. VEHICLE WAS SERVICED, TECHNICIAN CHANGED RIM, BUT TIRES STILL HAVE PROBLEMS.*AK TECHNICIAN PUT FOUR MICHELIN TIRE ON THE VEHICLE. VIBRATION CONTINUED TO EXIST. CONSUMER DON'T THINK ITS THE TIRES, SHE BELIEVES IT'S SOMETHING MAJOR LIKE THE DRIVESHAFT. *PH
CONSUMER COMPLAINED ABOUT A FUEL INJECTOR PROBLEM. THE FUEL INJECTORS OVERHEATED AND MELTED THE RUBBER GASKETS. WHEN VEHICLE WAS IN REPAIR SHOP DEALERSHIP ONLY REPAIRED TWO FUEL INJECTORS AT A TIME. *AK
WHILE DRIVING 30 MPH, THE CONSUMER NOTICED THE STEERING WHEEL BEING OUT OF LINE. AFTER TEN MINUTES OF DRIVING. ALL THE POWER STEERING WAS LOST. THIS CAUSED THE CONSUMER TO RUN HEAD ON INTO A WALL. THIS WAS CAUSED BY THE CENTER LINK FALLING APART. *JB
